I found a hidden gem in Leesburg! As you walk into Blooms, you feel that you've entered a 1950's diner with the waitresses dressed in black and white polka dot dresses. I was greeted immediately by friendly faces and I sat at one of the many booths they have available. The walls are decorated with pictures of 50's cars and other memories. This place seems to be a favorite with the locals, especially for breakfast. I chose to go with a Ham & Cheese Omelette with hash browns and toast. Their homemade jams are special and I chose the Strawberry Jam. My omelette was delicious, the ham was flavorful and the cheese was melted which is something that I am very particular about. The homemade jam was soft in texture, spreadable and finger licking good! They offer an old school Hershey's ice cream counter as well as a case filled with different kinds of pies and tempting baked goodies. I was too full to try any of the sweet temptations but I will be returning for lunch soon. They also offer what looks like an old fashioned candy store façade and as you walk into this small space, you find candies in the old fashioned jars. Service was top notch! My waitress came by multiple times to make sure I was content with my meal. I observed the other servers taking care of customers and everyone seemed pleased with their food and service. As soon as people were done, the tables were wiped clean and overall the restaurant looks spotless. Prices can't be beat! I paid under $10.00 for a hearty and homemade breakfast. Blooms is located on W Main Street in downtown Leesburg. There are limited parking spaces in front of the restaurant and along the street. There are also parking lots located behind the businesses. Downtown Leesburg has a quaint small town look with many small mom and pop stores and eateries.

Eh, same old same old rehash. I was promptly greeted by friendly staff... That's where the fun ended. $7.49 breakfast buffet with nuttin fancy or home made. Made worse by the fact that everything was very cold... No I mean, really cold!! I grabbed my friendly server and rather than give me the option to order off the menu she said, " well, you're sitting under a fan!" Sorry, I don't enjoy crapping where I sleep... But this has to be told.

It's been awhile since was here but distinctly remember the food was awesome and it seemed like a locally owned place, which is always worth supporting! Had a pie for dessert that contained peanut butter and had a chocolate graham cracker crust. Very enjoyable. If in town again will definitely come back here!

Never disappointed here! I've had many different items from the menu and enjoyed all. My last visit I had the Veggie Quesadilla. I really enjoyed it! Service is always good and food is at the table quickly. This is our go-to lunch spot during the week.

Great breakfast , great service. We had the breakfast buffet instead of ordering off the menu. Not a bad deal. We will be back again !!

THEE best grilled PB & J sandwich EVER!! Highly recommend using the homemade strawberry jam instead of grape! The buffet was delish and so was the BLT & egg sandwich. Very clean, friendly staff and cute as a button! As we are sitting at the table, I am planning our next weekend getaway here just to come back for the food and atmosphere!! It will be well worth the 90-minute drive!!

Went for breakfast during weekday. Very unique place! Servers in black and white checkered dresses with crinoline slips were friendly and smiling. Has a candy shop and small bakery display of great looking items. Also make their own jams and jellies! Biscuits were yummy but small. Hubby's ham and cheese omelette was fabulous according to him. Outside dining also!

My husband and I went to Bloom's for breakfast and it was a delight. My husband loved the pancakes. They were light and crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside, but not overcooked or heavy. I had an omelet made with fresh vegetables, mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers and swiss cheese. Breakfast comes with toasted homemade bread and a side of homemade jam. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt. Including coffee and a glass of milk our tab was less than sixteen dollars. They do their own baking and it shows in the quality of their breads, rolls and deserts. We took home some of their freshly baked deserts.

Blooms is a great street-side sandwich shop that specializes in breakfast/brunch/lunch. It was cool the day we went so we ate inside, but they also have outdoor café seating. The sandwich plates my party had were all well-prepared and served quickly. Blooms has a bakery case with a broad choice of cookies, brownies, cakes and pies that are all freshly made each day. They also serve Blue Bell ice cream and sherbets. Presently, Blooms is slightly challenging to navigate to, as westbound lanes of W. Main are under construction. Blooms is definitely worth the detour! Whether you're new to town, visiting or a local, take time to stop in at Blooms.

If you are looking for a great 50's style breakfast and lunch place then stop at Bloom's. Open Monday thru Saturday 8-3pm. They offer so many delicious items like the homemade cinnamon bun or their homemade potato casserole. Homemade bread and jams, I can't say enough. Come here and support small businesses.

Tiny breakfast buffet that was awesome! And a glass of ice COLD milk! I don't think the buffet is a normal occurance, but if half the menu is as good as the buffet and service, then its worth trying out again.

Blooms is great. They have catered for me several times and are very professional and serious about making the customer happy and look good. Lunch and Breakfast are very good with interesting things to choose from and they always have a special. Desserts are awesome and the Strawberry Cake will make you want to slap somebody! Lol. Since opening a couple of years back they have their act together and we love it.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
