I have had patties....none as good as these. You will not find better. This location has a favorite drive thru donut place nearby, but you won't have room. I always need a box of these delightful treats to go. Fresh, home style taste. MUST try meat loaf and coco bread. Love the jerk chicken but curry chicken is nice too. Very fair prices and quick service. They don't smile as much as I do...but the staff is friendly and helpful.

Best Patties and Coco Bread in South Florida! A must visit for everyone. Everything is very fresh and delightful. The cakes are awesome too!

Leaving Florida, this is what I remember. Coming back to Jersey and then eating a piece of Coco bread out the bag is so disappointing. Charlie's makes it fresh and hot. It is a light, buttery bread that melts when you eat it with the patty. Love the variety they have and the authenticity!

Best patties in florida, every time I visit fr lauderdale we have to stop here and get a patty. It's become a ritual between me and my companion. We either get a patty before we leave for a cruise or coming back from a cruise. They have you regular run of the mill patties like beef and chicken. But they have crab, jerk chicken, veggie, etc etc. I always get mine with a coco bread and scotch bonnet sauce. The patties are tasty and easy on your pocket. The best patties ever! Beware the Caribbean restaurant next door sucks! I can't remember their name but don't even go there, the food is bland and horrrible! I'm giving 4 out 5 stars because customer service is lacking and we have gotten the wrong patties at times due to the cashier not paying attention and quickly trying to get customers out of her face.

The only place I get patties from. I would travel from Atlanta and make sure Charlie's was a place I stopped by. My fav are the curry chicken patties and the coco bread.

OMG!!!! I adore these patties! I have spoken with the owners and they told me how they use only quality ingredients and no trans fat. You get in and out quickly. The service is always friendly. Excellent prices as well.

This is one of the few must haves when I visit my parents in South Florida. Their food is always fresh, delicious and freeze very well (living out of town we always buy a bulk so we can freeze them and have them for a while). It is a very small store, but they have a great variety of pastries, all of which are outstanding. Their service is always speedy and their prices are great. I know this will always be a must have when in South Florida!

I've always loved Jamaican beef patty and when I found this place on yelp, I felt a little warmth inside. It's a small place and they sell coco bread, sliced bread, sliced cake, soft drinks.. Got a few mild beef pattys and total was less than $6. Warm inside and the crusts were just right. I will b coming back

If you are looking for authentic Jamaican patties then this is the place. Their menu has a wide selection of patties to choose from. There are beef patties, chicken patties and even veggie patties. Get a warm and yummy coco bread to go along with your patty, you will love it. There is also a variety of baked goods here, such as cakes and fresh bread. If you can't eat just one, then you can buy them in a box. Lunch here will run you about $5. My favorite? The spicy meatloaf, which is a beef patty in coco bread. And I always get their fruit punch, which is so freshing. Today, the line was out of the door, but it moves quickly. Enjoy. I did :)

I used to get these from the vending machines at school, The Art institutes of Fort Lauderdale. It was a staple for lunch. Being from the north I'd never had these. So yummy. In fact every time I visit Florida I look at every grocery for them. And years ago with my first pregnancy I wanted them so bad I tried to get them to ship me a crate.. No luck. To this day I still look for them.
