Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I don't know how long this place has been here but l live right around the corner and never noticed it before. Better signage maybe? Got take out, chicken parm sub, antipasto and a couple of pizzas. REALLY good food. Tasted like this stuff was actually MADE as opposed to unloaded from a Sysco truck. Just what I'd been looking for! Gonna repeat and hope they are consistent. That would make me a long term fan!

Limited review - for carry out pizza. First off, the smell on entering this place was amazing and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately things went down hill from there. We ate our carry out pizza within ten minutes of picking it up. At that point the outer crust was dry and tough, and the center of the pizza was a soggy mess. The Garlic Knots (dinner rolls with garlic and olive oil) were OK, but the red dipping sauce was not included with our order. Since other reviews have been great, I assume that it would have been better at the restaurant?

We visited the small but cute restaurant based on the other reviews and I have to say we were impressed! Super friendly service and great food! The garlic knots weren't really knots, more like a half of loaf of heaven, complete with yummy red sauce. My daughter loved her 3 cheese calzone (which was huge) and the side salad was the perfect size. We ordered the 14 inch Hawaiian pizza. The crust and cheese were both incredible, but I did find it a bit bland but I believe it was just because of the toppings we chose. We also ordered a side of meatballs and they were delicious! Prices are very reasonable as well! So much better than chain restaurants!!!! Try it! You won't be disappointed!

Oh goodness, this was great food! The man who served us was so friendly and attentive. You can hear in their accents that they are legit. We started with garlic knots, which were really just rolls with garlic and olive oil, but they were sooooo good. They do garlic knots right. We shared a pizza - half pepperoni and half meatball. It was very good pizza. Thin and crisp crust, good sauce, good pepperoni. They reminded us a lot of our favorite pizza place in Arlington, TX, New Yorker. I know that if we lived near this place we'd be there way too often.

The garlic knots are to die for and the pizza is fantastic. Do not miss out on this place. It might be small in size but not in taste!

From the outside (and even the inside) this place doesn't look like much. Located at the corner of a very small plaza, it's very easy to drive by this place without giving a second glance at the tall, business-tinted windows. And honestly I'm a little worried that its horrible placement and appearance of some quick, half-assed pop up look may lead to a short life. BUT SMELL THAT SPICY SIN Looks aside, you can smell all the sauce and spices as soon as you enter. Prepare to drool. Once the thick yet lightly crispy crust of the Steak Calzone broke apart, a gooey wave of melted cheese spilled out. The creaminess of the cheese blended well with the lightly salted spices in the meat. My Chicken Parmesiana was sure to yield leftovers and a stuffed Pyra-Danny. Their Famous Garlic Knots were serious dripping in chopped and melted butter garlic. I was committing a sin just by looking at it. My tiny dislike came from the extra tomato sauce delivered in little Styrofoam containers. Everything else was served on nice plates except that. SERVICE GREAT Despite being in the back kitchen when we entered, someone actually heard us, came out, and greeted us after entry. Plus our server was a freakingly nice lady who arrived at all the right moments and kept smiling and making small talk. ATMOSPHERE The layout appears to have once been a deli but they walled up parts of the counter side and hung up as many photo frames as they could find with famous boxers. During our visit a loud air blaster (I think?) was whirring in the dining hall but luckily they wheeled it to the side so the air wouldn't blow in our faces. This place has great food but location and appearance are going to be real downers--management better start investing their money not just in promotion but in making the overall appearance look more welcoming.

This is the place I go to for calzones. Sure their pizza is great but I'm not the biggest fan of a FLUFFY, REGULAR CRUST. But imagine all those yummy, gooey, meaty salty toppings stuffed inside a FLUFFY CALZONE--that's a different story. Opening my pizza box is a treat. Not only does the SMELL OF BREAD and spices slap my momma silly on the nose but the beautiful sight of a naked calzone lying down lustfully shining inside the box makes me wanna do bad things. One of these babies can easily FEED ME FOR a COUPLE MEALS. Although the PLACE IS SMALL this place DOESN'T SCREAM TAKE-OUT only because the SEATING INSIDE AND OUTSIDE is enough to be comfy. Bigger bonus is this place is close to where I live so I have placed them on my speed dial when I want something tasty for a GOOD PRICE.

I don't often write reviews, but this place has great pizza, calzones, garlic knots, salads and Italian dinners! This is a locally owned family business, and not a chain. The best traditional NY pizza you will find in the area. Everything is made fresh to order, with generous portions. You won't be disappointed.

Pizza here is great, they use a good cheese and that pays off. The garlic knots are also very good, not too much butter, just right. Haven't tried the pasta but the plates are huge ad look very good. Really enjoyed the Sicilian Antipasto Salad.. tomato, fresh basil and, garlic. Yum! This is the real deal folks.

Awesome pizza, fantastic garlic knots and great service! They truly care about the product they are putting out. I look forward to going back on a regular basis. A true gem! I would recommend Rizzotto's to anyone!

My BF found this place on Urban Spoon and wanted to try based on the good reviews. As it was my be healthy time of the week instead of my cheat day I only got one slice of pizza and the restaurant was so sweet enough to make me an espresso which was needed after a tiring day lol. I think they should add to the menu ;) I got a slice of pepperoni and my BF got the chicken parm grinder with fries. Fries were well seasoned and he liked the chicken parm. Really good food and nice service.

Lived in this neighborhood for five years and kept meaning to try this pizza place. Wow! So delicious. The antipasto is huge! Love the thin-crust pizza ... Nice quaint patio out front ... Definitely a favorite among the locals. Great down-home service. We will be back!

The meatballs and sauce were good. There was a nice slice of Parmesan cheese melted on top. The sandwich came with either potato chips or potato salad. I opted for the potato salad which came in a styrofoam container. Not really the most environmentally friendly way of serving the side since I was dining in. A scoop along side of the sandwich would have been fine.

By far the BEST pizza I have found in Florida. If you truly want NYC pizza, this is THE place! Relocating from the Bronx, ( yes, I am a pizza fusspot) , I will drive a half hour out of my way for this REAL NY style pizza. The garlic knots are fantastic, just open the car windows if you are bringing them home : ) It's a little hard to find, tucked away in the corner of a small strip mall, but well worth the search. Highly recommend. Mangia!
