Being from Chicago it has been hard to find good Chicago style pizza and this place reminds me of back home. Ordered a large sausage special with extra sauce well done and it was cooked just right. The sauce is just right not too sweet like other places and had just the right zip to it. The sausage was crumbled and every bit had just enough. The crust was extra crispy and even making the drive home and sitting to eat it was still crunchy. Very few places in the Pinellas county area have good pizza and I will put this up with Paul's.

This is a Mid West style thin cracker crust pizza cut into squares. If you know this type of pizza this is a great place. Some other highlights, the make their own sausage, Friendly service, and salads. This is a small hole place that has been lost in time from the 70's. The beer selection is not great.

Love this place. Nice thin crust pizza that is very tasty.. We missed out on this for two years as you might drive right by the small building.. Trust me don't drive by, stop and try it. Menu is small but all you really need is the pizza..

C&M has been doing pizza RIGHT since 1954, plopped in the middle of humble and quiet Seminole. A hidden gem... They MUST be doing everything right to still be around after all of these years?? And I 100% agree... I enjoyed it a bunch in the 1970's and rediscovered it 20 years later: a real taste-bud, time-warp! As for the pizza: A wonderful, crispy, cracker-like thin crust that is to die for! Really unique for our area and likely quite different than any style pizza you are used to. Sure, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but some of the negative reviews raise questions for me. Where is it etched in stone that ALL pizzas have to be "NY-style" to be great? No, it is not NY-Style and that is a major plus for me. Yes, I've had great, floppy, foldable NY style pizza for weekends on end. I go to C&M pizza when I want something equally great but different! As for dining in?: Weekend prime-time dining can often form a line outside. A busy pizza place is usually a happy (and AWESOME) pizza place, right? Just simple pizza take-out on weekends can become tricky if parking is full, but it is worth it! Fans like me plan ahead and go early to dine-in, or call at least 45-60 minutes in advance for a take-out pizza. Fair warning... Yeah, it looks like a dive and being around since 1954, it should! But the pizza that comes out of here is MAGIC and is well worth any sort of hassle and such.... So if your inner pizza GOD allows you to actually enjoy a non-NY-style pizza, then by all means give this place a try!

Great Pizza!!! Love this place and love to support a small business. Thin cracker crust which is crispy!! The place reminds me of a throw back bar with pizza and loads of regulars.

Pretty nasty looking place inside and out, but I went because of the reviews. Apparently, both Charlie and Millie have multiple personas because there is no way those 4 and 5 star reviews are accurate. The pizza was like a large frozen pizza from the grocery store. They refused to substitute at all (is it really THAT difficult to give your customer what they want?), The service was gruff and grouchy (hey, it's not MY fault you work there). This was a one-timer. I won't be back.

Awesome pizza! We ordered the garlic bread and a large pizza, both were amazing! The crust on their pizza is the most wonderful part, i highly recommend this pizza place, for dine in or carry out. We sat inside, it was cute and the service was excellent, the place was non stop busy so I know people love this place!

I typically order to go but when I dine in the staff is always very friendly. The interior isn't the greatest but the pizza and friendliness of the staff make up for the lack of luster. I usually order an Alka-seltzer pizza...I love the thin crust and the blend of all the ingredients under the cheese really work well. I will continue to dine here because they really do do great pizza here!

Great pizza. I always stop here when I'm back in town. There Alka seltzer pizza is a must try but I've rarely had a better cheese pizza anywhere.

I don't often write reviews, but this place has great pizza! This is a locally owned family business, and not a chain. The thin crust pizza is always fresh and made to order. It's also uniquely cut into squares as opposed to a traditional pizza slice. Anytime I'm in the area, I make it a point to stop by for a meal or to bring a pizza home. The antipasto salad is a winner too!

After you like or dislike this pizza...put the health department on speed dial! Place is filthy...customers and staff use an outside restroom... (upscale outhouse)

Well driving down the road in my usual quest to find a good pizza spot here I Florida. We have frequented many places here to find that pizza with the perfect crust, sauce, and cheese. As we were enjoying food locally I spotted this place on yelp and the reviews looked good. I decided to go in. Upon entering was greeting by a nice lady who proudly proclaimed they are celebrating 60 years in the pizza business. How exciting. Well I ordered a pizza cheese with olives and pepperoni. I sat down and waited. Looking around the place hasn't been upgraded since the 70's. The pizza making staff looked like the local high school bus dropped them off for work after school. My pizza was done in about 20 min and off I went home to enjoy what was suppose to be our weekly treat. As I was upstairs changing the kids dove into the pizza and before I got down stairs to enjoy myself. The kids looked at me and said this is the most "bisgusting" pizza ever. I said why? They were marching all over saying yucky and putting their fingers in their mouth. Well I took a look at the pizza. Let me start off by saying my family enjoys pizza. We eat it and make it and are quite frankly. Pizza snobs. This pizza was by far the worst we have had here. I can't imagine how they have been in business so long. I Would have rather had jotos or papa johns pizza than this place. The crust was like cardboard, the sauce was bitter, and I don't think they used quality cheese. I could have put a Tony's frozen pizza in the oven and had better. Well we won't be back and won't recommend anyone to go there and we know people who also look for good pizza. And for those of you who left 4 or 5 stars for this place in the past. You obviously need to taste other pizza, cause this place has the wool. pulled over your eyes. So we will continue to look for pizza and go from there.

Really really good Mom and Pop pizza place. Small inside but fun to sit and have a beer and non chain pizza. Usually we do take out. Staff is always nice and they recently began accepting credit cards. Pizza is always great! Definitely must try this place if you're in the area! Tonight's pizza was awesome. Their crust is great and my husband loves that they offer green olives.

Let me just say, being originally from Indiana where pizza is a huge staple and some of the best pizza anywhere, I finally after a year and a half of searching and tasting, this pizza was sooooooo wonderful. Great thin crust pizza that was crispy, cracker thin with bubbles, sauce was great, and the pizza was awesome. Just like home. It's a small place, and nothing special inside, but beer was cold, pizza was awesome. Our young waitress was as sweet as she could be, and the customer service was great. Stopped and chit chatted with the owner for a few moments on our way out, and they were wonderful. If you want fantastic crispy thin crust pizza, do not overlook this restaurant. It's worth your trip!

Pizza was delicious. Great thin crust. We called ahead nbecause we had a party of 7 people on a Friday Night, they were happy to accommodate. happy to find a locally owned old time pizzeria.

Great local pizzeria. This is our go-to place for take out pizza. Around 14 bucks for a large with 2 toppings. Unique pizza, with thin crispy crust, cut into squares. It's just good, not too heavy, always tasty. Definitely worth a try if you haven't already. We've tried most of the local pizzerias and this one is our favorite for take out, though we sometimes go to Sardos for a change of pace, which is slightly more expensive. Cristino's is hands down the best local pizza, but that's more of a sit down place.

I have been eating charlie and milies pizza pies for fifteen years. When entering it's like stepping into a time machine from the 1970's but don't let that bother you. What you will get is a pizza pie that's not new york style but whatever style it is it's one of my favorites.I live in Tampa but whenever I'm over the bridge I'm gonna call in an order for a tasty pizza. The reason I get the pie to go because their pizza is perfect for eating while you drive because the crust is almost like a cracker but in a good way.The sauce has a great zing to it and with pepperoni and onion it just doesn't get much better. If your allegiance is to a new york pie this might not be for you but if you like different styles of pizza this might be your new favorite.

Absolutely the best pizza anywhere in the state of Florida. Run by the Habjan family since around '76 or so and nothing has changed since. Quintissential dive pizza place... Perfect!

sorry to all of you peeps that liked this pizza. it was disappointing. when I saw all these great reviews, I decided to try it. I grew up in central nj and was hoping to find something similar. not even close. thin cracker crust is not good pizza like in nj or ny. pizza crust should be thin but bendable so it flops into your mouth with puffy edges to hold onto while you burn your mouth on piping hot cheese! we ordered a plain cheese pizza and a special works. the cheese pizza was bland and burnt on top and the special works wasnt much better with slimy canned mushrooms. we asked and paid for pepperoni added and could hardly find any. oh well, we'll try another place in search of real north east style pizza.

Hands down, best pizza around! I have been going there for over 20 years and have never been disappointed.

Great thin crust pizza. I have been eating here since 1980 or so. I wish I still lived close. Family owned and operated, nice group of people. Second generation family memeber Doug does a good job.

Charlie and millies is a classic mom and pop pizza establishment. There pizza is classic and holds many good qualities from the cracker crust, to the sauce. I don't know how they make there dough but it's very mellow with a nice sweet hint. The price is perfect and the service is fast and friendly I highly recommend it as a local jewel

Great pizza! Reminds me of Federal hill in providence, R.I. Awesome! The tomato sauce taste homemade. The person who complained about the sauce has obviously only had Dominoes and Papa johns, yuck. One other thing, I usually have to take some kind of antacid after eating the usual but not with their pizza. Great service also!!

Born and rasied in Seminole,FL 38YRS. Highly recommend pizza place! I have been eating at Charlie and Mille's for over 25 years and by far the best in town. Also, great for kids becuase they have some video games in the back to keep them occupied. This company is a family owned business thanks Doug for all these years..

I hate to say this because the people were so nice there, but crust was flavorless, sauce was old, the pizza cheese (not real cheese trust me when I came home it was 1 slab of rubber but I did not want to re heat or even try to eat cold) and all toppings were old and stale (sausage was like dog food nuggets) or canned or both. Definitely canned mushrooms. It's strange because we went based on more recent reviews being positive but the ones that are a little older seem to be more accurate. Extra star for the very friendly folks who run the place and the fact they had Amberbock on draft

Great thin crust style pizza. Growing up in Chicago, many people don't realize that there is a thin crust pizza style as well. Charlie and Millies reminds me of the best ones I had there! Friendly neighborhood pizza place with a killer lunch special: $4.50 9inch pizza with toppings costing $.75. I go out of my way to stop here!

It's a dive....Just the way you want a great pizza place to be. The pizza is thin, crispy, and terrific! Any place with pizza this good and Galaga in the corner, is five stars in my book!

Reminds me of a pizza joint back home in Chicago - a hard thing to find in Florida, let me tell you! Crust is verrry thin, but not soggy. Some people might compare it to cardboard, but that's probably because they've been trained on Papa John's and Pizza Hut. This is a different kind of pizza and Charlie and Millie's does it well. Pizza is cut in squares (as it SHOULD BE if you're from Chicago). One thing we particularly like about it is that it's not greasy. Sauce has a bit of a sweetness to it. Very good. Will definitely be back and have been twice already since we found the place about a month ago! It's a bit divey (and the men's room is outside in the back), but it has a comfortable laid-back atmosphere. Don't expect them to break out the good dishes for you though - they have mismatched silverware and paper plates, but if it's Chicago thin crust pizza you're looking for and you're not on your way to O'Hare or Midway airport any time soon, don't let that stop you. This place is a winner.

Simple menu, good prices, friendly staff. Thin crust brick oven pizza with any combination of toppings. The building is old and you have to go outside to use the mens restroom but the food is outstanding. I have been going there fro years and eat there at least twice a month. They do not take credit cards but do accept local checks. I have had pizza in New York and Chicago but I prefer C&M's any day. Maybe I am among the "very non-discriminating palates" in the local area but I owuld choose this pizza over any other in the area.

I quite enjoyed the pizza from Charlie & Millies. I think it helps if you have a good idea as to what you are getting. The crust is a super-thin, cracker-like round unleavened crust. The best way to describe it is St. Louis style but with the traditional mozzarella instead of provel cheese. The sauce is on the sweet side. The place has been around forever so they are doing something right. I got takeout and they were quick and friendly. They also have really cheap draft beer prices for pitches for eating there. I will add it to my local Seminole/Largo pizza place list when I feel like a thin crust.

The crust is as thin as cardboard (and just as appetizing), the sauce is bland, and there's barely any cheese on the pie. Believe it or not, as bad as Domino's is, it's better than this.

In his roundup of the best Tampa Bay dining spots of 2005, the food critic for the St. Petersburg Times cited this place as having the Crust Most Likely to Make the National Register of Historic Pizzas, which lead us to give it a try. Suffice it to say I won't be trusting any of his other recommendations or future reviews. Housed in a nondescript brick building nearly lost among the body shops that surround it, this joint has been making pies for some fifty years, apparently for a lot of very non-discriminating palates. The cracker-thin crust, with the texture and taste of a stale matzoh, was barely covered with a thin layer of odd-tasting sauce and a very skimpy sprinkling of cheese. The only award I'd give it is the Pizza Most Likely to Make a Grown New York Italian Weep.
