I have to say the food here is average and maybe a little pricey but the service and beachfront view bumps up my rating to 4 stars. The servers are very catering and attentive to customer needs despite the heavy traffic in and out of the restaurant. Parking can be a pain due to reconstruction in the lot. Make sure to bring cash or change for the parking meter. Would love to come back to taste the breakfast menu!
Food was great, not really a fan of the cash only when the restaurant owns the ATM machine... Someone is seriously not interested in paying a merchant fee... It's 2013 get a square reader and offset the merchant fee onto the customer. The food was good but seriously cash only is so 2001!!!

I have something to say about the food, and about the staff: Food: Great little place on the beach -- the ocean, breezes, a fantastic menu, awesome drinks... you really can't go wrong. It's so fun for brunch with friends; they make awesome bloody marys! I've tried a few things from everyone's plate the one time I went (crab cake benedict, French toast, etc) and it was all delicious. Staff: I did have a run in with a smart ass. I lost my phone in the parking lot here, and when I went to the restaurant to see if anyone had turned it in, one of the waiters standing there said, "Oh! Was it an iPhone?" as if he had found it it (and I was freaking because it's my business phone and I was out of town), and I said, "Yes!" and he said, "Nope." Then he chuckled, pleased with himself. As I walked away I heard him say, "Man, that was such an a--hole thing to do, huh?" and they all had a good laugh. My review is based on the food - I would go back, no doubt, but service goes a long way, too, and Mr. Funnypants' comedy skit did leave something to be desired.

First time at this place, we are on vacation and really wanted an ocean view while we ate, all seating has a view. we went at 930 am on a Sunday and there wasn't much of wait. however the food coming out was a bit slow, but I expected that with a full house. lobster bisque was GREAT, light on the cream base, big chunks of lobster meat. had the American omelette, should have asked for cheese with it. grits and an English muffin. Everything was a bit over priced but it's a tourist spot, to be expected. Boyfriend had chicken and waffles, came with a weird chipotle butter, pass on that just use regular butter and syrup. chicken was a thin filet, well seasoned breading. food and the view deserves a 4 BUT, this is a CASH ONLY place and their ATM is not working. maybe a temporary issue but there is no sign on atm machine and they didn't warn us when being seated. this place is right off the beach so the nearest bank/atm was a walk through the parking lot and across the street. would have appreciated a warning that they machines don't work! incredibly annoyed which is why this place is given only 2 stars.

Love their brunch!! Fresh food and not too heavy, location is priceless and the service is very good ! You won't be disappointed

The perfect brunch spot! Even if A.Bourdain hates brunch and so should you, this is the spot to have it! Excellent Bloody Mary, generous portion size even on the 2 egg platter and you can beat the location!

I have NEVER gotten a bad meal here. There is usually a line but it goes quick. Every dish I have tasted was worth coming back for... Homemade corn beef hash, French toast creme brulee are my favorite two! Cash only but they have an ATM on location. Best breakfast place in Palm Beach!

Went there today; excited to have breakfast right on the water. The food was solid; nothing to rave about, but decent and relatively quick once we ordered. The place was packed; but we were lucky to get seats at the bar. This is where my review goes downhill - the service we received was shockingly awful. There were three people behind the bar working, and two of them seemed pleasant and helpful. The one, unfortunately, that waited on us was MISERABLE. She was clearly in a bad mood and wanted everyone to know. She was swearing, she chucked the menus at us, and she told us if we were in a rush to not bother ordering. A real sweetie. We may go back, maybe, but I really hope this place looks at their servers...she was rude, obnoxious, and made the meal miserable.

The menu has a great variety, quality is right on for the money, service is friendly, and the laid-back attitude of everything makes me feel good and lazy. Bask in the sun? Throw a few back? Watch the kids draw in the sand right from my table (or count the hot bods from a distance --- your choice)? Count me in! I love everything about The Dune Deck, except they only take cash. A bit inconvenient, but there's an ATM in the Ritz right next door. The ambiance of this cafe is what would bring me back. Huge outdoor seating, all facing the beach, with two stories to choose from. Not a bad seat in the house. The place looked a little chaotic from a distance, but these guys have a pretty streamlined system going. There were only a few empty (still being cleared) tables when we walked up, yet the waiter had the table cleaned up, wiped down, and ready for us in just a couple of minutes. My kids inhaled their "Mickey Mouse" shaped pancakes. I'm not sure if they were so into them because of the presentation, the taste, or the fact that I bribed them with not being able to hit the beach until they ate all of their food. The pancakes are huge, so they totally could've shared. Smoked salmon crepes. Nice and light, not too many capers, and a generous side of fresh fruit (gonna have to suck all this in soon, so might as well go light, right?) Gotta get a Mai tai. Or five. Just sayin'.

Have been wanting to check this place out and finally today made my first visit. Had a delicious (and enormous) Greek Salad with grilled chicken. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Seems like a great spot to grab a cold beer and quick lunch - especially if spending the day on the beach. (Only negatives were cash only & the parking)

Was looking forward to an enjoyable relaxing Sunday Lunch/brunch. #1 The parking situation is MISERABLE. The METERED lot below was OVERFLOWING- beyond full...... #2 The bathrooms are outside, public beach rest rooms... needless to say . . . . #3 The service was "meh"- the server never asked us if we wanted dessert, brought the check (as they evidently wanted to turn over the table) and it was my wife's birthday and we were with family and wanted to "celebrate" with a candle #4 We ordered catch of the day- came cold. Two relatives ordered the "VEGETARIAN" omelet- came with SAUSAGE pieces! (Honest to God). Are there waterside restaurants in SFL that are NOT exorbitantly priced where you can get a good (not extravagant) meal ?

Still one of my favorite spots, but as they have gotten more popular the service has gone down. I was there recently on a week day and I found the service lacking. First, they wanted to seat me on the lower part (where its hard to see the water) despite the fact that there were tables available in the higher part. I asked for a table up top as I come to Dune Deck to see the water. They gave me a table but it was dirty, then it took forever for them to clean it off, then I had to keep asking for a menu. Then the waitresses kept switching, no one told me the specials or anything, service was very perfunctory and not friendly, then the waitress tried to clear my plate before I was done. Similarly, the last time we went there the service was spotty. Food is still good, portions are large, location is great, but I'm not sure what has happened with service.

The view is amazing, and it is nice of them to offer healthy options. The fruit platter is outstanding- all fresh, not canned. I asked :) The presentation was nice and the server was friendly and helpful. He was playfully flirting with my granny too :)

Not bad but not perfect either. We ate here a few months ago. We got an greek omelet and crepes with swiss cheese and turkey. The crepes was ok but not cooked enough.omelet was nice. We didnt like the home fries cause were too greasy. The place was packed but we sat down fast. The atmosphere nice and clean. I wish they have more tables outside.

I loved eating breakfast with a beautiful view of the ocean. The weather was perfect with low humidity so eating outside was pleasant. I had the yogurt stuffed crepes surrounded by berries. The blackberries were so huge! They were the biggest I've ever seen! I usually like my crepes lightly stuffed so the yogurt was a little overwhelming. I just gushed some of the yogurt out before eating it. They were still delicious though. My husband had the Denver Omelet he finished it all but he's never met a Denver omelet that he didn't like! I would love to eat here again on my next visit because it had a chill atmosphere and we didn't have to wait too long for a table.

We came here with the family one morning for breakfast. It proved to be a good decision. Great views, good food, and large portions so you can share and save if you wish. Worth dealing with the parking lot and wait. Be sure to bring some change but the restaurant will provide you with quarters if you do not have any.
(3)
Kim B.
Of all the places I have visited to eat where you get a view of the beach this one by far has the best food and atmosphere ( if you are looking for a non party one). Corned Beef Hash is absolutely amazing, and each plate is served with a huge slice of fruit. Presentation is good and service is great. i would highly recommend. They only take cash so keep that in mind.

Good food and good service, the ocean breeze was refreshing, and I finally felt like I was on vacation!

This place was good for a casual lunch & a few drinks. We spent the weekend at the Ritz-Carlton right next door, but walked over to the Dune Deck for a less expensive outing. Anna, our server, was super friendly & attentive. But we had send our beers back several times for being too warm. Our piña coladas tasted more like a smoothie. More alcohol please...we're on vacation! The food was very good. We had the crab quiche, the tuna plate (highly recommend), and a fish special. Overall, fun little place on the beach! But bring cash. They don't accept credit cards.

Absolutely perfect - scenery, food, service. Had brunch for the first time there this weekend, and it will be for sure our new brunch place!

Beautiful views!! How could you not like eating breakfast right on the beach? Food was good, had the stuffed french toast which had a fruit mixture inside and was done w a french bread. Very nice. Bf got crab cake Benedict which was good, he really enjoyed the home fries too. Good service, friendly waitress. Make sure you bring quarters bc you need them for the parking lot.

This place is AMAZING! The view is spectacular The food has a home made feel and for a 'diner' type place it is unique in what it serves. Very affordable and large portions! OMG please try it you will not be disappointed! I would go later or early as it gets very busy!
(5)
Brian W.
This place sucks. They don't take credit cards. They don't have Budweiser Service is really bad. I ordered a tuna sandwich and conch fritters at the take out window. They lost my order and I was the only person at the window. It took over 30 minutes to get my order. On the good side. The conch fritters are the best I have ever had. They have a cook staff that really knows what they are doing. I won't go back.

Great Location! Feels like a vacation! I love the Greek Salad & Fish & Chips. I have tried almost everything on the menu for lunch & have not had a bad meal yet. I visit once a week. Friendly, lively atmosphere. Busy during tourist season.
(4)
Mark A.
Nice atmosphere right near the beach and good service (even though it was busy). Our waitress was super nice. That said, food was max 2 stars. Salad was romaine and celery (saved only by addition of copious amounts of feta), fish from the fish and chips was poorly cooked and prepped (rendered acceptable only by the relative freshness of the fish), and chicken was dry and overcooked. Calamari was fine; probably one of the better dishes (though an appetizer), but came with just marinara. Only really solid standout was a yogurt/honey/bread/fruit dish that was fresh, simple and tasty.

All I can say is what a delightful place to have breakfast. Food and service were very good and what more can I say about eating right on the ocean. Can't get any better than that. You do need quarters for the meters and they only take cash but if you know that ahead of time there is no problem.
(4)
George S.
Atmosphere! Overlooking ocean and beach. Good food. Fast service. A favorite of wife and self and everyone we take there. Bring quarters for meters in parking area and cash since they don't take plastic. An ATM is on site. Breakfast before 8:30 to beat the snowbirds. Lunch is good too.

Went here once again for breakfast with my Mom this morning and they never disappoint I think they keep getting better... We both got the special of the day and it was so delicious.. It was the Honey Yogurt Crepes topped with Cranberry Pear Sauce and roasted Walnuts. It was Perfection... The staff is always super friendly and go above and beyond and the owners are always there greeting people and or cooking.. Its 1 of the best local spots in Palm Beach...

What a great brunch/breakfast spot! I was visiting a friend and she suggested we have brunch at Dune Deck. The service is very friendly and the view of the ocean is just amazing. Try to get seated on the top section to get the full ocean view experience. The bloody mary's are great along with all the breakfast items. The only thing I would stay away from is the steak and eggs. The menu calls it a fillet but it is anything but a sad piece of steak. d opt for their salmon platter, standard eggs and bacon or one of their unique specials. I can't wait to go back! Don't forget your quarters so you can feed the meters in the parking lot.
(4)
Laura D.
Disappointed! We got here on a Sunday morning for breakfast at 11:15, and waited one hour for a table and another hour to receive our food. The meters out front are 10 minutes per quarter... The service was horrible. We can from Juno beach because we have enjoyed eating at this place for years, but we won't be be back.

Love eating here when I'm close to the beach, they have good Greek food, and delicious conch fritters... Can't beat the view of the ocean...

OH YA this place rocks! Great breakfast! LOCATION 5 STARS! kids love this place and any one in town enjoys a breakfast here! its like a hiden jewel! We love the dune deck! I forgot this breakfast as good as the Ritz next door! but I have $400 bucks left to spend in warm SF
Great breakfast spot. Open air with beautiful view of the ocean. Staff is friendly and service is fairly fast. I recommend the lobster Benedict. Portions are very generous.

LOVE the Dune Deck. Went there for a late lunch yesterday, and I go at LEAST once per visit to palm beach (I usually go 1-3 times a year). I have never had a bad experience there. Price is good and food is great. Waitstaff is always friendly, smiling, accomodating, and funny. I think they're even constructing an outdoor bar right now, which will be great when it's done. My only complaint is that sometimes they roll tarps down over the windows and you can not see the beach, which is disappointing but only mildly annoying. Overall, LOVE the Dune Deck!!!

Lisa L.
Went there last wknd. Friday afternoon around 3 or 4pm. Too late for bfast. Damn! Still had an AWESOME Gyro and fresh squeezed Mimosa. I've noticed that there is more 'structure" to the beachfront cafe. You pretty much have to sit on the top deck now to see the beach. The menu seems more upscale than i remembered it. The prices have climbed slightly to match it. But taking a passing decade into account and the fact that its "butted up to" the RitzCarlton, its still a pretty reasonable choice. Food is still executed very well- as good as I remembered. This family knows how to stay in business

Awesome food and location. It would get 5 stars but sometimes the wait is too much. They have funky breakfast/brunch food and good service.
(4)
Michelle L.
This is one of those places that you know if you are in the "know". Amazing food and service! Be warned they only take cash, but they have an ATM on location. The only gripe I have is on the parking lot. Its a ridiculous amount for the meters and they only take coins! I usually park by the marina and walk.

Creme Brulee French Toast is the best ever. And you can't beat the view. Cash only though.
(5)
Babs D.
Delightful beach front casual dining! The owners and servers are the friendliest! I loved the creme brulee french toast and their bagel platters are enormous. It is getting pricier (I've been going here for 10 years) but admit to staying full most of the day after eating breakfast here.... Dune Deck is the perfect vacation spot!
Delicious breakfast of avocado and spinach eggs Benedict with a hefty portion of potato wedges, and fresh, perfectly ripened tomato and cantaloupe slices. They even have Cholula Hot Sauce on hand:) We also tried a feta cheese omelette with mushroom, onions and a side of bacon. Next time we go - will try their Bloody Mary - it looked delicious as did the other selections from the bar. We sat at the bar, where we had a stunning view of the beach and great service! Highly recommended for a weekend breakfast or brunch!

This place is just OK. Not worth the cash only, ocean view, inflated prices. Took a drive up A1A this past Sunday and decided it was time to grab a bite so we turned into the public parking lot at Lantana beach and walked up to the Dune Deck, an open air beach front casual dining spot. The wait was 20 minutes (so we were told) - wound up being 45. This annoyed me to no end - we could've driven somewhere else had I known it was 45 mins. Finally seated at the table furthest away from the ocean view as possible (however at this point I didn't care, I was hot and hungry) at least they had fans blowing throughout. I ordered eggs Benedict which was typical poached eggs over sliced ham on an English muffin. I got the hollandaise on the side. It came with potatoes which were giant wedges of deep fried potatoes that had zero flavor and one or two pieces of onion/pepper. Didn't eat them - not worth the calories. Hubby had an omelette - just your basic with the same potatoes. My daughter had chicken and waffles - tasted good but the chicken was so dry and overcooked. This comes with a chipotle butter which had a nice kick plus the maple syrup. We were going to order a couple of cocktails but weren't sure if we had enough cash so we stuck with water and iced tea. All in all, it was your basic breakfast for about $60.

Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch, Dinner. You simply will not find a better view offered at a restaurant than at The Dune Deck Cafe. TIP: Sit at the bar so you can sit out and watch the waves roll on in. Servers were friendly and that's always a good thing. What about the food you ask? Well, that leaves something to be desired. It's not bad, don't get me wrong. It's just, exactly as you'd expect. The fries are crispy and delicious. The rest of the food is just... exactly as you'd expect. BLT is bacon, lettuce tomato and that's it. Chicken sandwich is a grilled chicken breast and a few items. This is a place you probably come for the ambiance and a quick meal -- just know you won't be blown away by the food, but only the view. NOTE: CASH ONLY! The Dune Deck Cafe does NOT accept credit/debit cards. CASH ONLY.

5/3/15 - Sunday Funday Brunch at this place. Didn't even know Lantana existed. It's quite the charming town. Dune Deck was packed when we arrived with a 30 minute wait. It is above the beach with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, we were sat all the way in the back. The back tables are higher so you can still get an ok view. Our waitress was awesome, very attentive. I had a mimosa and my friend ordered a mojito. DO NOT ORDER THE MOJITO, you will be disappointed. Served in a small glass and it was just a lot of leaves, flavor was not there at all. The coconut shrimp was delicious, there were 5 pieces, would of enjoyed a few more. For brunch I ordered the Steak and Eggs. It was about a 6oz. Filet Mignon, medium rare, of course. The plate looked great, a hefty portion but again, lacked taste. My friend ordered a croissant with egg, bacon and cheese. It didn't look or tasted great. Nothing special about the dishes, at least the ones we tried. They do have a lobster benedict that I might have to try next time. The staff gets a 5 star, very nice people, coming in you are greeted with a smile and as you exit, every one smiles and thanks you.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. There was a bit of a wait but less than we were originally quoted. We noticed the large portion sizes of the breakfast selections so we split the Salmon Benedict! It was delicious and enough to fill two of us. The Mimoas came with the split so you knew you were getting your moneys worth of Champagne. Our server was phenomenal (the best of our entire weekend eating out). I also loved the atmosphere, literally NEXT to the beach. I highly recommend this cafe & beach area!

Another yummy meal shared with a snorkel buddy. As a group we join together and spend the morning enjoying Mother Nature then, wrap up the day with a nice seafood salad. Always worth a return visit if you are the Lantana area.

A good place to stop for breakfast or brunch. Lots of tasty options. Various connotations of a Eggs Benedict seem to be the mainstay of the menu. I tried the crab cake eggs benedict and wasn't disappointed. It seems quite expensive but you are paying for the seafront location. We had a 35 minute wait for a table but they give out those vibrating devices that go off when your table is ready. We had a drink in the bar area next door whilst we waited which was very pleasurable with the sea view.

Location, location, location. There are few better spots to be than at a restaurant beach side, drink in hand and plate of chow in front. The breeze picks up salty drops from the ocean - all is well in the world. Service is sweet as pie down here, attentive and down-to-Earth. The food is pretty solid, but overpriced. You're definitely paying for those ocean-side views (and it's totally worth it.) I ordered the Greek salad and it was close to $16 - and there wasn't even any meat on it! WHOA. Those some Chicago prices, if I've ever! But, again, go for the view. And if you don't want to pay $$$$$ for the food, just grab a drink and one of those beach-viewing stools, sit down, and breathe.
(3)
Kelly L.
The food here is in big portions and is pretty good. The view is definitely worth the trip. Mixed drinks aren't too great, but I recommend the specials as they usually have fresh catch. The fish sandwich is great.

Dune Deck cafe has a great ocean view and is right on the water. Parking can take a little bit of time - as there is only 1 machine to pay for and always a long line. The restaurant has been busy, but not packed the two times I was there during off season and during in-season. We only had a very short wait when we were there a few weeks back at the beginning of March around noon on a Thursday. The food we've tried is good - nothing too special, but really everything taste great with a warm breeze and the ocean in front of you! I will warn that service can be a little slow - everyone is on beach time - so if you are on a tight time frame this is likely not the best choice. Also they are cash only - FYI.

The Dune Deck is a diner on the beach. The best part about the restaurant is the location but the food is also good too. Your not going to get a gourmet meal but if you are in search of a good breakfast, lunch or brunch, go to The Dune Deck and enjoy your meal with a great view. Stuffed French toast, blueberry pancakes, eggs, and chicken kebab are very good options. They regularly have very good special dishes so make sure you check them before ordering. The restaurant has its own metered parking lot unless you already have a parking decal for that specific beach. The wait staff is always friendly and accommodating, I've never had a bad experience. Expect a wait to be seated during lunch times on the weekends. You must navigate a ramp and some stairs to get into the restaurant so prepare accordingly if you have any handicapped or elderly in your party.

Let me just start off by asking, is there anything bad about this place? The location is great, I love the fact that the beach is right in front of me. Our server Teresa was very attentive and friendly. And of course, the food was delicious! I ordered the Nova Benedict and I was told the salmon was smoked in house, you can definitely taste it - SO delicious. My sister ordered a berry waffle, my cousin a burger and my dad an omelet. The presentation of the food is definitely a quality a lot of restaurants lack. I think it's safe to say that I'll be telling everyone about Dune Deck Cafe!

We absolutely love this place ! Great food ! great service !great view ! Food came out in a timely manner and everything was refreshing and tastes wonderful ! We has some Gazpacho and it was a little over spiced but it was still refreshing, freshly brewed ice tea, turkey club was perfect and the French fires are very good !! 3 egg Omelet was wonderful. You can't go wrong with this place !

Great service and location...right on the beach! On Saturday at 12:30 we had a 15 minute wait for a table. I ordered the chicken and waffle special. The chicken was a breast fillet with a spicy batter atop a Belgium waffle that had no flavor. The chicken was topped with chipotle butter and the plate was decorated with bbq sauce. Also a cup of syrup was provided. This was my first time eating chicken and waffles and I was not impressed by it. My friend ordered the home made greek yogurt crepe topped with berries and a side of icing. She thought it was good and unique. It is a casual outdoor atmosphere. We went by bike and parked them outside the restaurant with no problem. The restrooms are part of the city park next door. They offer breakfast food after noon on a Saturday! I will return to try other items on the menu or special board.

Sister place to the Mimosa Dune Deck in Boynton Beach with a much nicer view. The food was tasty as was the Boynton location but the food was cold as it came to the table. Surprisingly so since i didn't have to wait that long. I'll give it another try later to see if the food comes out hot next time or else I travel down south for a better experience.

My first visit to the renovated Dune Deck. It's been at least 10 years. We had a late brunch at around noon. On weekends they serve breakfast all day. The menu is fun and the choices of hot or cold food are equally available. I had the vegetable omelet to order with no onion or cheese. It was large and cooked to perfection for my taste. I skipped the potatoes and was given two very large tomato slices. Topped off with a piece of cantaloupe and I was satisfied. I also had the Tito's gluten free Blood Mary. My wife had the roasted calamari which she raves about. Jerry the waiter, as we ate at the bar couldn't be any nicer. Great meal in such a perfect setting. We will definitely be back soon. Cash only and an ATM at the bar. $40 bucks tax and tip.

Drove down A1A looking for a beach bar to get some lunch... Saw this sign and pulled in. View is amazing. We ate at the bar facing the ocean and got to watch all the boats leaving from the Palm Beach Boat Show. Great conversation with bar mates from Upstate NY and Newport Beach, CA - my home town area - and bar tenders were fabulous! Would come back here in a skinny minute!

Eggs Benedict with an ocean view. What else is there to say. It's why I live down here, simple comfort food on the beach, consistently good, big portions, and friendly staff.

Samantha B.
This is one of the best views in Palm Beach County. The staff is friendly & the bartender is so fun. It's an excellent choice for brunch. Their specials are always good. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it for the view!
(4)
Chelsea C.
If you have already eaten and just want to get mimosas somewhere on the beach, then and only then would i recommend it. You are literally paying for the view because I have had better breakfast and service in several places around the Boynton area. It is right on the sand and it's nice to see the ocean while you eat but it's pretty over priced for the quality. The service was slow when I went with my two out of town guests. Oh and big thing that's not advertised, it's CASH ONLY and the ATM on site charges 3 dollars. You have to pay for parking in the lot as well and it fills up quick. Don't get me wrong, it's wasn't bad. I just was not expecting to pay 65 dollars for 3 people to have a mediocre breakfast.
Mimosa's by the sea... perfecto! Definitely the place to have an awesome Sunday brunch - with a few cocktails while enjoying the ocean breeze. Dune Deck is large and crowded- and rightly so- they serve excellent food and drinks yards from the ocean and they do not rush you to turn the tables. Great views and friendly help- can get very busy and parking is totally atrocious - so be prepared for that. Bring change for parking..even on Sundays. .. Give it a shot!

I found a roach in my glass of ice tea and manager made the excuse that it was because we were dining "al fresco" and only offered to take it off the bill and wasnt sorry at all and made more excuses than apologizing and poor service too. disgusting experience

When you imagine in your mind what oceanfront dining should be, look no further than the Dune Deck. A perfect oceanfront location coupled with amazingly well prepared food and fantastic service, the Dune NEVER fails to deliver. Dishes are fresh, original and presented in a way that even the most discerning foodie would love. It's a family run business that makes every guest feel like family. This place is an institution in my book and it always delivers quality. This is my favorite place to take out of town friends and family for breakfast or lunch, it's a can't miss choice. If the Dune Deck was not on the ocean, it would still be the best breakfast in Palm Beach county. Throw in the amazing view, it's the best in Florida!

If you want friendly service, a good meal and an ocean front view look no further, just bring your credit card. If I pass through again, I'll definitely stop in.

Food was great....although they should state on their website it's cash only. I stake out the websites prior to going to new restaurants and no where did I see it was cash only until I arrived.
Yummy French toast and bacon. Great service. Never had to ask for a water refill. Owner came to see if we were satisfied with everything. Then another manager came later to make sure we were happy as well. Outdoor seating with an GREAT view of the ocean as well. We'll be back for sure.

This the best breakfast and lunch place in Palm Beach! You cannot beat the view! The food is outrageous. It is all fresh and homemade. The chef prepares some fabulous specials. The bananas foster French Toast is out of this world. The corned beef hash is legendary and consistent every time. The coffee is good also. A nice treat is the full bar. You can enjoy a Bloody Mary or Mimosa with your meal. Lunch is delicious also, especially if you like seafood because their seafood dishes are very fresh. The seafood chowder rates as one if the best we've ever had. The fish tacos are fresh, light and flavorful. Sometimes there is a monte cristo sandwich special that is outrageous. (I think it should be a permanent menu addition). It gets crowded so be prepared to wait, but it is truly worth it! And if you don't want to eat you can sit at the bar and enjoy the gorgeous beach view with a cocktail. They will serve you food there if you do decide to eat. We love this place and take everyone here. The only downfall of this place is that it is cash only. No credit or debit cards. There is an ATM machine available but it is an inconvenience since no one carries cash anymore.

The Dune Deck is a really fun place to go as a family or with some friends. It overlooks the ocean, has a nice breeze and when you're finished eating you can walk on the beach. The food is good as far as beach fair goes and the service is very friendly!

Been there a couple of times for breakfast. The food and service is good. The place is cute and the price isn't too bad.

We always enjoy going here for a meal. It is so nice to sit and have a meal while looking out at the ocean. The food is very good, prices are reasonable, and the staff are always pleasant. We always take our out of state visitors here to enjoy this jewel of a restaurant.
it's the only one by the ocean in Lantana. a lot of traffic and great beach scene. unlike delray beach, this is more quiet and quaint. very casual dining experience and the crew is super friendly. try their omelletes and their special of the day, it's usually huge and good.

You can't beat the location, right on Lantana beach. The food is good, I prefer the breakfast, which has generous portions. You'll wait a while for a table on the weekend. Great place to bring out of town visitors.

We've been here many times, good food, awesome beach view! But today we got stuck with a waitress with attitude! Guess she does not know she's lucky to be working in paradise. And why so nice to the table next to us they were tourists? Be nice to the locals, we're your customers ALL year long!

One of my must go to places when I come to Florida. The place is on the beach so there are plenty of great views. Food is great as well and have a large selection from breakfast to seafood to sandwiches to greek. I normally go for breakfast. Highly recommend the crepes, corned beef hash, and pancakes.

Food is some of the best quality for the cash that you can get near by. I prefer it to the super popular John G's across the street, and it's half the price (and better, in my opinion) than the ridiculously priced Ritz next door. Over the course of two recent visits, we had: Greek Yogurt and Berry Crepes Nice tender crepes stuffed with thick luscious greek yogurt, perfectly ripe berries and a sweet crunch from a touch of granola. This is a great option for those days when I still want a healthy start to the day, while still feeling a little indulgent. Egg, Bacon and Cheese Croissant Sandwich The croissant was moist and warm, with a healthy helping of oozy cheddar cheese and a good amount of crispy bacon. Nova Eggs Benedict with Hash browns The hollandaise was a little bit salty for me, especially with the smoked salmon, but the eggs were perfectly cooked. Even though the benedict was hearty enough, you don't want to pass up these hashbrown. They are fluffy inside, and wickedly crispy outside with just enough salt. My only criticism here would be that I would have liked a touch of spice (chili, cayenne, paprika etc) to balance out the richness of the rest of the dish. Fruit Cup with Fresh Banana Bread I mentioned to our server that I would prefer to not have any melon because I am sick of just being served under ripe melon every time I go out. No problem! Instead I got a beautiful goblet of all of my favourite tropical fruit. But fruit is fruit, lets talk about that banana bread. Oh-dear-wow... that was actually the best banana bread I think I've ever eaten. It was impossibly moist, but not too sweet, so much so that it was almost like eating a mouthful of ripe bananas. It literally melted on my tongue. I typically am not much for breakfast pastries like muffins, coffee cakes or fruit breads, but this was truly magnificent. Side of Bacon A good texture for bacon- adequately rendered, but not over cooked. I like a good chew on my bacon, so this was satisfying. A tasty, fast breakfast for about $40 (including tax and tip) in Palm Beach ON the beach? That's what keeps us coming back...

Location, Location, Location! I've been living in FL for a few years now and I never go to the beach or the pool. But when I come here, I feel like I'm on vacation. The view is gorgeous! The food's pretty good but it just feels so good to eat outdoors overlooking the beach. The only downside is that they are cash only and the the metered parking is annoying. 10 minutes a quarter! What are we in NY??

Great place but had to leave because we forgot it was cash only! Who carries cash today?? Very annoying.

I am sure the view is incredible but we could not see anything because of the weather. The menu was just run of the mill - dull. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken parties was very thick. Should have been tender and juicy- but was tough to chew. The fries were excellent

Best breakfast ever. I had the crab cake benedict it was sooo good.

The only thing that keeps it from getting five stars is it's a cash only business. Otherwise it has great food, friendly service. They serve only breakfast and Lunch and they're right on the beach opposite East Ocean Avenue in Manalapan, FL right next door to Ritz Carlton on the A1A. Beer and wine and mixed drinks. Delightful specials. Brunch on the weekends. I go there a lot for lunch and the portions are pretty big and yes $$ but I always end up skipping dinner which is a plus. Great place to take friends and relatives. I love the roar of the ocean on windy days and the sea gulls sitting on the railings on the boardwalk.

Love this place! Amazing views, great food and service. The Greek salad was huge and delicious, as was the spanakopita special and all of the fresh fish dishes! The tuna salad was good, but I'd opt for something else w/so many options. Great drinks too--mmm, frozen mojito on the beach, wish I was there now! I've eaten at the Ritz next door many times for lunch and think the Dune Deck is actually better.

My personal favorite place for breakfast or lunch in PB county. Can't beat the location or view. I always take visitors here and they love it too. I've tried almost every breakfast item and have been pleased with them all. Get the yogurt!! Expect long waits on the weekend. It is worth it though.
this is a successful business and has no reason to change....again I went with a group of friends.....wait staff is very good in this busy place but the food is very ordinary.....can do better myself.....

I went here with my aunt and uncle who have been going here for years and love this place, however the day we went my uncle was ready to say that he would never go back. The service was horrible, we waited like an hour for our breakfest orders while atleast 5 tables that came in after us got their food. When the food finally came out not one order was right. They gave me one egg as opposed to two, my grandfather didn't have his bacon or sausage, they gave like three people the wrong side dish, etc... it goes on and on. As a waiter I know these things happen and I wasn't to bothered at this point. What really pissed me off was that when we asked the waitress to do something about it she had a really shitty attitude and kept being like, "Oh well it's not my fault." It may not be your fault, it may be the kitchen... but rule one of waiting tables is that you never ever say things like that. We asked for the manager and he was this studdering shrivel tailed dog... did he offer to correct the orders? No. Did he offer to take anything off the bill? No. It took my enfuriated aunt chewing his head off for five minutes before he agreed to take a few meals off the bill. Mistakes happen, that's fine, but you have to step up and take responsibility when they do. I would go back though as my aunt said this is like one out of thirty or so times that they've been here that is hasn't been really good... for now though they get one star from me.

Fresh Seafood Salad..Delicious.

(4)Bonnie F.
Great location, oceanside. Breakfast & lunch. Cash Only, there is an ATM on location. Crème brûlée French toast is awesome if you like sweets. Blackened grilled mahi sandwich is good. Also, try any Greek dish and you'll be happy :) they built a small bar off to the side of the restaurant that also faces the ocean - great lil hangout spot, wish they had specials ;)
(4)Anthony B.
Food was great, not really a fan of the cash only when the restaurant owns the ATM machine... Someone is seriously not interested in paying a merchant fee... It's 2013 get a square reader and offset the merchant fee onto the customer. The food was good but seriously cash only is so 2001!!!
(3)Janelle D.
(3)Briana V.
(2)Maria S.
Love their brunch!! Fresh food and not too heavy, location is priceless and the service is very good ! You won't be disappointed
(4)Peter S.
The perfect brunch spot! Even if A.Bourdain hates brunch and so should you, this is the spot to have it! Excellent Bloody Mary, generous portion size even on the 2 egg platter and you can beat the location!
(4)Ed K.
(5)J M.
(2)Nadia V.
(4)KC M.
(4)Barry A.
(1)Sam S.
(3)Simplehiccup D.
The view is amazing, and it is nice of them to offer healthy options. The fruit platter is outstanding- all fresh, not canned. I asked :) The presentation was nice and the server was friendly and helpful. He was playfully flirting with my granny too :)
(5)Ellen M.
(4)Susan L.
(4)Kirk F.
We came here with the family one morning for breakfast. It proved to be a good decision. Great views, good food, and large portions so you can share and save if you wish. Worth dealing with the parking lot and wait. Be sure to bring some change but the restaurant will provide you with quarters if you do not have any.
(3)Kim B.
(4)Denise L.
Good food and good service, the ocean breeze was refreshing, and I finally felt like I was on vacation!
(4)Maria C.
(3)Michelle S.
Absolutely perfect - scenery, food, service. Had brunch for the first time there this weekend, and it will be for sure our new brunch place!
(5)Christine C.
(4)Dorian L.
This place is AMAZING! The view is spectacular The food has a home made feel and for a 'diner' type place it is unique in what it serves. Very affordable and large portions! OMG please try it you will not be disappointed! I would go later or early as it gets very busy!
(5)Brian W.
(5)Christina S.
Great Location! Feels like a vacation! I love the Greek Salad & Fish & Chips. I have tried almost everything on the menu for lunch & have not had a bad meal yet. I visit once a week. Friendly, lively atmosphere. Busy during tourist season.
(4)Mark A.
(2)Bill D.
All I can say is what a delightful place to have breakfast. Food and service were very good and what more can I say about eating right on the ocean. Can't get any better than that. You do need quarters for the meters and they only take cash but if you know that ahead of time there is no problem.
(4)George S.
(5)Gianna R.
(5)Julie C.
(4)Laura D.
(1)Meghann H.
Love eating here when I'm close to the beach, they have good Greek food, and delicious conch fritters... Can't beat the view of the ocean...
(4)Brad X.
(5)Tephaine W.
I just have one thing to say --- Creme Brûlée French Toast. Hmm, hmm, good! Just imagine layers of French toast baked together then topped with a flamed sugar crust and a vanilla sauce, then served with a dollop of whipped cream & fresh strawberries. Add the excellent service and the cool breeze blowing in from the ocean and it just can't get any better. PS: CASH ONLY!
(5)Shannon C.
Great breakfast spot. Open air with beautiful view of the ocean. Staff is friendly and service is fairly fast. I recommend the lobster Benedict. Portions are very generous.
(4)Ivy K.
(4)Lisa L.
(4)Christine B.
Awesome food and location. It would get 5 stars but sometimes the wait is too much. They have funky breakfast/brunch food and good service.
(4)Michelle L.
This is one of those places that you know if you are in the "know". Amazing food and service! Be warned they only take cash, but they have an ATM on location. The only gripe I have is on the parking lot. Its a ridiculous amount for the meters and they only take coins! I usually park by the marina and walk.
(5)Lydia B.
Creme Brulee French Toast is the best ever. And you can't beat the view. Cash only though.
(5)Babs D.
(4)Dave S.
A great find. Right on the ocean, great view and good food reasonably priced. Mostly Greek food but also traditional brunch and lunch fare and nearly everyone seemed to be a regular. Greek salad was excellent, beef skewers were good. "Plain" French toast was preferred by our kids over the stuffed, creme brûlée French toast special.
(4)Mcg D.
(5)Cheryl K.

(2)Courtney L.
(5)Joanne L.
Another yummy meal shared with a snorkel buddy. As a group we join together and spend the morning enjoying Mother Nature then, wrap up the day with a nice seafood salad. Always worth a return visit if you are the Lantana area.
(5)James C.

(5)Michael S.
Eggs Benedict with an ocean view. What else is there to say. It's why I live down here, simple comfort food on the beach, consistently good, big portions, and friendly staff.
(4)Samantha B.
This is one of the best views in Palm Beach County. The staff is friendly & the bartender is so fun. It's an excellent choice for brunch. Their specials are always good. It's a bit pricey but it's worth it for the view!
(4)Chelsea C.
(3)Eric G.
A must if you have not been or visiting. The perfect atmosphere on the Atlantic Ocean. Good food worth the wait, just get a drink at the bar and enjoy the scenery! Have enjoyed the Lobster Eggs Benedict and French toast creme brûlée. Cash only so bring with you!
(5)Franco C.
(4)Beau B.

(5)Art H.
If you want friendly service, a good meal and an ocean front view look no further, just bring your credit card. If I pass through again, I'll definitely stop in.
(3)Katie F.
Food was great....although they should state on their website it's cash only. I stake out the websites prior to going to new restaurants and no where did I see it was cash only until I arrived.

This place was fun and the location was perfect. The food was good, not great. Our party of 5 had shrimp salad, french toast, and an omelet. The portions were huge which depending on your preference, is a good/bad thing; I found them to be kind of unappetizing. But I had the 'california shrimp salad' which was good, not great. I was hoping to have breakfast, but they stop serving breakfast at 11:30. The french toast special was one large slab of what looked like a cake, with a sauce on top - I think it was called creme brûlée french toast. It was ok but so so sweet that no one ate more than 1/2 their portion. I kept feeling like everyone had something better/more interesting than I ordered, but no one at my table was impressed with their food. It was all just ok. I guess you eat there for the view, which is spectacular. WARNING: They don't take credit cards, only cash. They do have an ATM machine in their bar.
(4)Ashlhea L.
The service here is great! The food is slightly over priced, but great, nonetheless. I ordered the Creme Brûlée french toast; I wasn't a huge fan-- it was a bit heavy and soggy for my tastes. I had a bite of my Mom's egg sandwich on a croissant, and it was quite good! The mimosa I had was great, and the view was unbeatable. I'd definitely come back and maybe try a club sandwich or an omelette next time. Also, the whole "no credit cards" deal is a huge downside, especially since the ATM was out of order when we were here. Other than that, everything was great.
(3)Stacey O.
Yummy French toast and bacon. Great service. Never had to ask for a water refill. Owner came to see if we were satisfied with everything. Then another manager came later to make sure we were happy as well. Outdoor seating with an GREAT view of the ocean as well. We'll be back for sure.
(4)Brian J.
Word to the wise: they don't il open til 8 on weekdays. I found this out by showing up at 7.
(4)Mary Ellen L.
(4)Solomon S.
The Dune Deck is a really fun place to go as a family or with some friends. It overlooks the ocean, has a nice breeze and when you're finished eating you can walk on the beach. The food is good as far as beach fair goes and the service is very friendly!
(4)Aline C.
Been there a couple of times for breakfast. The food and service is good. The place is cute and the price isn't too bad.
(3)B. B.
We always enjoy going here for a meal. It is so nice to sit and have a meal while looking out at the ocean. The food is very good, prices are reasonable, and the staff are always pleasant. We always take our out of state visitors here to enjoy this jewel of a restaurant.

My mom my sister and I had breakfast a Monday morning at the dun deck café. The location is awesome!! on the beach!! you can hear the sound of the waves its just the perfect place for breakfast!! our waitress was really friendly and smiling! We order the crème brulee French toast, the tropical French toast, the nova benedict on bagel, the homemade yogurt and 2 pancakes on the side, everything was delicious!! fruits were fresh! the homemade yogurt was awesome it tasted sooo good!! (the banana bread not so good..) the coffee was good too bad they didn't have soy milk and the orange juice was from the bottle it would have be great to have a fresh squeezed orange juice but this place is really great for breakfast! we will be back for sure!! can't wait!! fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamai…

it's the only one by the ocean in Lantana. a lot of traffic and great beach scene. unlike delray beach, this is more quiet and quaint. very casual dining experience and the crew is super friendly. try their omelletes and their special of the day, it's usually huge and good.
(3)Jaan T.
You can't beat the location, right on Lantana beach. The food is good, I prefer the breakfast, which has generous portions. You'll wait a while for a table on the weekend. Great place to bring out of town visitors.
(3)Ginny P.
We've been here many times, good food, awesome beach view! But today we got stuck with a waitress with attitude! Guess she does not know she's lucky to be working in paradise. And why so nice to the table next to us they were tourists? Be nice to the locals, we're your customers ALL year long!
(4)Matt S.
One of my must go to places when I come to Florida. The place is on the beach so there are plenty of great views. Food is great as well and have a large selection from breakfast to seafood to sandwiches to greek. I normally go for breakfast. Highly recommend the crepes, corned beef hash, and pancakes.
(5)Abbey S.

(4)Ilene A.
Great place but had to leave because we forgot it was cash only! Who carries cash today?? Very annoying.
(2)Charu J.
I am sure the view is incredible but we could not see anything because of the weather. The menu was just run of the mill - dull. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken parties was very thick. Should have been tender and juicy- but was tough to chew. The fries were excellent
(2)Lauren M.
Beautiful views with great food. Definitely recommend this laid back restaurant with a view.
(4)Sandra C.
Best breakfast ever. I had the crab cake benedict it was sooo good.
(4)Philip V.
(4)Kerry D.
(4)Scott L.
My personal favorite place for breakfast or lunch in PB county. Can't beat the location or view. I always take visitors here and they love it too. I've tried almost every breakfast item and have been pleased with them all. Get the yogurt!! Expect long waits on the weekend. It is worth it though.
(4)Fred L.
Super place for breakfast by the ocean. Not fancy. Just good simple ample food. Eggs- can't go wrong. Pancakes- not your dainty small rounds so that a short stack of two will do just fine. I also did not try it but craved the creme brûlée French toast someone else was enjoying and others on Yelp have mentioned. Service- competent and quick. Prices- for this area a bargain. Perhaps the cash only policy has something to do with that. Would come here again.
(4)Jim M.
this is a successful business and has no reason to change....again I went with a group of friends.....wait staff is very good in this busy place but the food is very ordinary.....can do better myself.....
