Busy place for a Thursday with some large groups, but the two of us were able to slide in. Appreciate their efforts to embrace technology (pay at the table), mix up the menu and two for one special (but when they are like eight ounce beers, really?) it just falls short. Several families with kids, so it was rather loud. Met our needs, but did not exceed them.

Nothing says "WE DON"T CARE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS" louder than sitting someone at a dirty table when there are clean tables available. NOTHING. We went with our children, and when the waitress asked for our drink order, we asked if we could put in the order for the kids to get their food faster. The waitress took the drink and kids order and disappeared for fifteen minutes. She eventually brought us our drinks and took our order. Thirty minutes later we began asking the hostess about the children's food, and were told it takes a long time to make cheese quesadillas. Ten minutes later the children's food came out cold, like it had been sitting in the back for a long time. We eventually got our food. My husband ordered a burger, which came out sloppy and undercooked, and I ordered the santa fe chicken quesdillas which only had chicken on parts of it. We did not see our waitress again for refills or to have my husbands burger cooked longer. Left aggrivated, hungry and with very cranky kids. We love Chilis, but this Chilis has a terrible kitchen and wait staff. Next time we will pick a different Chilis with management that cares.

We ate here a few days ago and found it to be so-so. The drinks were way overpriced and sort of weak. I had the steak which was okay my partner had the ribs which she said were very good. What really was the worst part was charging .99 to plat a trvia game. For .99 they lost a customer. Service was just okay.

Chili's used to be a staple in the list of places to go, now there are just too many options out there to ignore the fact that Chili's is mediocre at best. Service is no longer enthusiastic, food is essentially heated up frozen fare, and even the "fresh chips and salsa" are a shadow of their former selves.

Chili's moved from Florida Avenue to the west, (disappointingly further for me). Sadly, Chili's has also changed my favorites on its menu. If you eat in the bar, the chips and salsa are still free. I loved their house salad with low-fat vinaigrette. They changed the house salad to romaine, croutons & onions only. They changed the vinaigrette to a lousier one. Always loved their hamburger, the "Old Timer" but even that wasn't ravingly good. The new layout is "tight", smaller booths, closer together, smaller bar. I have removed Chili's from my weekly gathering list and removed two stars from my original love affair with them.

Well... first of all I ordered the black bean burger, the only item not salad that is even remotely friendly to those that eat a plant-based diet. And lo and behold there was a recall on it. This is likely because they put something unnecessary in it, like egg for example. But... whatever, I got a salad, a side of beans, and broccoli. After our food came it was literally like 5 minutes before we actually got our silverware. haha... Can't make this up. The broccoli looked like it just came back from the surface of the sun and was completely overcooked and wilted. The salad and beans were fine but not what I expected. Overall, I don't think that highly of places like Chilis and Fridays as they're just mainstream restaurants that are kind of the modern-day McDonalds and Hardees, with food that is unhealthy. Moreover, they tend to not at all friendly to those of us that choose not to eat the standard diet that facilitates heart disease.

The southside Chilis has been nothing but a disappointment for me time after time after time. I only go because my son like chilis and its close. Bad service, bad drinks, bad food. There are too many complaints to list here. Save your money.

Chili's has always been just an "okay" experience. Their food really doesn't impress. It is serviceable food, but it still has that "we just microwaved it for you" aura about it. Their skillet queso is their best appetizer, and the best value considering they keep brining you endless chips. If you are going somewhere to drink, this is where Chili's shines because you can take advantage of their endless 2-for-1 specials. My problems with Chili's are as follows: *This place is louder than a machine shop. Between the TV's, the clanging dishes, the constant elevated restaurant floor chatter, it is unbearable. I found myself literally yelling to my party where we were going to sit. After you leave this place, it makes you appreciate the silence of your car. This is the #1 reason why I hate going to Chili's. I don't know who sets the volume in this place, but it is constantly insanely loud no matter where you sit. *No matter how many times the tile tabletops are wiped down, there's still a nasty film that remains on them. The silverware looks like it has just been rinsed once and re-wrapped in the napkins. I've seen food bits on the knives, leading me to ask for more silverware. *The service is garbage. Every time I go there, I have to ask multiple times for refills, and when they bring the refill out, there's no ice in the glass. If it is busy in there, you better be prepared to wait wait wait for your food. If you're in a hurry, do not go there because there's no telling how fast your food comes to you. I go here only when a party wants to go there and I don't get the choice. Otherwise, I'd never pick Chili's.

Went here with the boyfriend's family for lunch today. We sat at a high table and each ordered one of their half and half lunch specials. It really is a great deal. For only $6, you get your choice of soup/salad and half a sandwich. For $1-2 more, the sandwich varieties grow. I ordered the corn soup and the 2 burger bites. The corn soup was creamy, sweet, and delicious. The burger bites are always good, and I couldn't even finish the second bite and had to take it home. It also comes with crispy, salty fries, and I ate it all. 5 stars for value, 4 stars for food, 2 stars for service (it took almost 15 minutes after we ordered drinks for them to come, and an extra 20 for food.)

Dear Chilii's First of all I want to say that I know people love you but you are not on my food chain fav's sorry! You really haven't impressed me at any location but at this particular one it was a very sorry dining experience. We went to you as there was literally nothing open at this location by our hotel or open that late around the area. It was convenient. The waitress came by to take the drink order then forgot about us for apprx 20 minutes, then came to take the order and give us some chips and the order took another 30 minutes?!?! First of all the place was half empty & staff was cleaning up some areas....bad sign, maybe. My Quesadilla Explosion salad was ok as always, the guys burgers were ok as well. My sis in law soup, tiny and lukewarm Good luck but I hope you do better than this on a regular basis.,.,

We had my niece's 21st birthday party at this location with 12 people. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were very attentive to us and really took care of our group. Our orders were perfect, the food was great. Our drinks never emptied and the service was impecable. They helped out with our cake and singing and it was an all-around fantastic night. Chili's is a great restaurant where you can trust that the food won't let you down. This is definitely a gem in the franchise.
