I don't understand all the good reviews for this place. Obviously the people that eat here never had a good sushi roll. The dynamite roll is full of oil. When you bring it home the grease on the bottom of the styrofoam box is an inch deep and very disgusting when you start to think you are going to have all of the grease that did not escape the roll go into your body. Ugggghhh !!!! You also need a magnifying glass to find the fish in the rolls. Do yourself a favor and go to a real Sushi restaurant instead of wasting your money like I did.

What a great little find a long way from home................ I usually am a little hesitant about eating sushi in strange places, however Shingo's was so cute and clean, I decided to try it out. They have great sunset specials from 5-6:30pm, including bento boxes and Sushi combo rolls. I had the combo JB and crunchy roll. The combo was a great portion and very reasonably priced ($13.00). I also had the plum wine, that came served in a martini glass, so cute! We will definitely be coming back if we are in the area.!!!!!!

This place is for the sushi lover. Good classic sushi. They don't have all those silly frufru rolls that are wayy to big to fit in your mouth like some other places I know. I go here at least once a week and I'm always pleased with the consistence in quality and freshness!

The food is really, avoid lunch time, since the waiter is the owner, who is also the hostess, the waitress, and pretty much everything else other than the cook. Service quality is really low at lunch. At dinner time they have more people to help. Their Sukiyaki is really good.

In driving distance from my house? Yes, this is 5 star, Japanese food!! Not only that, the price was very reasonable!! Don't let the shopping center fool you - when you go inside this restaurant, it is clean and zen! It smells wonderfully yummy the moment you walk in too :) Our order: Natto roll Their signature roll - amazing, but unfortunately had forgotten the name. Beef Domburi Shrimp & Veggie Tempura 22oz Kirin Beer Almost ordered some Onigiri to go, but perhaps another day ;)

Shingo's Japanese Restaurant is not half bad--a little room for improvement, but all-in-all, ok. I'll probably have to try other things before more stars are given. I visited after reading reviews for a while. I grew up eating authentic Japanese food and by no means have a stereotypical " narrow American palate." I do research before I try a new place. The restaurant's decor is nice and airy. The person who worked the register was very nice. I ordered "to-go." I had their katsudon, which hit the spot--It was better than my mom's. But, I ordered their chicken teriyaki bento box for my husband, and the portions were more appropriate for a super model or small child. There were 5 small medallions of chicken, and a ton of sauce, and a bit of rice. When my husband saw it, he was really disappointed. He's had bento boxes before when we lived in California, and they were far more generous. I love Japanese food and the place is nice. I would probably still go back. My husband says he'll pass.

We came with a friend who ate here before and talked highly of this place. It was one of the best places I've been. we ordered the kimchi ramen- the heat was just right. It had a lot of kimchee and pork in the soup. It was very filling. We ordered 2 rolls- dragon and rainbow roll. The sushi on the rainbow roll was so generous and thick! Usually sushi comes out thin but at this place they are generous when ordering sushi. The rainbow roll was tasty and full of flavor. The sushi rice bowl also had thick amount of sushi in the bowl. Service was nice. It appeared that the customers there were all locals and returning customers. We will definitely be back! Found a new place for sushi!

Read the reviews and decided to try this place. It was more than disappointing. The sushi took forever to come to the table because there was only 1 chef and he seemed very overwhelmed. Once it arrived, it was sloppy and the rolls were falling apart. There was no flavor on anything and the rolls lacked originality. I also asked for some Spicy Mayo and was told that it was an extra dollar! Really? There's nothing worse than spending $100 and being nickel and dimed for a dollar. Besides the fact that it was just mayo on a plate, again no flavor. Sushi places are on every corner here, my suggestion, find another corner!

Very nice place...discovered it passing by on my way to Publix. I was craving eel, spicy ramen, kimchi, appetizers and voila. Hits all my spots!!

I absolutely love Shingos! Their food is top notch & so is the service. You always know when you come here that you are welcomed and that you will enjoy whatever it is you order. I am a huge fan of their Katsu roll & the JB roll is always a safe bet wherever you go. My boyfriend enjoys the Earthquake roll, which is very delicious as well. Save room for desert because their fried ice cream and banana tempura are amazing! Love the family atmosphere they've here, keep it up!

Very good service very fresh sushi. We had a big party and a lot of food. Beer wine and sake, but generous portions. Some of the rolls could use a little more polish, and I like my spicy mayo with more punch so I'd ask for a little more srichacha next time but a pleasant dining experience over all!

Sushi is good, but the Kimchee Raman Noodle Soup is awesome . They have 5 different types of Raman soup . I have been searching for good Raman in Palm Beach County and I found it !

I love this place. We go here once a week, and it's amazing. We get the hamachi jalapeño, the morning dew roll (hamachi) and the creep head roll. Amazing, so happy it's near me.

I come to Shingo's almost every friday night after work with the family. Sushi is fresh and Bhutto (Sushi Chef) has creative menu. Love the Creephead roll. Kids love the Bento boxes. The Mochi deserts are a big hit with the kids too.

This place is the go to place for fresh sushi!! The rainbow and creep head rolls are our favorite!! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Chef Otto is a artist at what he does!! Do your selves a favor and check this place out!!

Mediocre sushi. The prices are decent, but that is because the food is flavorless. We each ordered a roll and shared an appetizer. The rolls weren't memorable. We think the appetizer was the culprit. Their appetizer (can't remember the name of it) had chunks of raw tuna/salmon soaked in spicy mayo on lettuce and was not fresh. We were paying for it later... We went here because the reviews were pretty good. Perhaps people thought it was good because there really isn't good sushi in the area?

I normally wouldn't t review a restaurant unless the food and/or service was atrocious. However, it would be a travesty for me not to make an exception with Shingo's. I'm a self-professed foodie and have lived and traveled all over the US and throughout the world. With that said, Shingo's is hands down, the single most amazing sushi experience I've ever had. I would not even put Nobu in the same league as Shingo's. If you know your sushi, and you want amazing, inventive dishes, using the freshest, highest grade sushi, go eat here. Yes, it's in Wellington, but it might as well be Tokyo. The white tuna sushi and the creephead roll are both insane. Order the wahoo and salmon, as well. The only way their sushi could be any fresher is if it was swimming. I have a feeling Chris V. and Penny B. have no clue what they are talking about. Chris V says he purchased something filled with mayo. Well Chris, I have news for you.....if you want good sushi, don't buy a roll filled with mayo. If you weren't aware, Chris, that dish was put on the menu just for people like you who do not have a true appreciation for fresh sushi. Penny B., I've never, and I mean NEVER had a piece of sushi in this restaurant that was anything short of the freshest sushi i've had.

This sushi is not worth the price. Overfilled with mayo. Didn't taste fresh. Not to my liking. There are better sushi options at Sushi Moto which is in the same area. Well sort of.

I've been twice now and both times have produced great meals. This place is small and will stay on the list as my Japanese restaurant

Awesome for Sushi. Where ever we go, we compare it to this place. Sushi is fresh all the time or they don't serve it. Food is good as well. It's a pretty casual place. Not the best looking inside but boy will Sushi be awesome.

Awesome sushi. Great service. Always fresh. Mexican roll is great. The soba noodles are very tasty.
