this place is amazing... I'm originally from Peru and I'm very impressed with the flavor of their dishes... it definitely doesn't make me miss my hometown the food, the service and the decor is outstanding but a little suggestion... if you change the music to a Peruvian music it will definitely make an impact, but other than that I'll definitely go back

Contrary to the others reviews, I found this place to be overpriced and under portion served. Too many onions on all the dishes we ordered. Left with bad breath and empty stomach! The pulpo a la parria was a 5 oz cup of cerviche for $17. The waiter gave us the wrong bottle of wine. The grilled octopus was served in an iron skillet w/ 2 slices of potatoes & some corn for $18! Total dinner for 2 was $85. Will not be going back.

First visit and definitely not our last. Super creative pairing. Crevice Arigato excellent as was the Miami Heat & Tiradito Rolls. Service was outstanding. Deserts. A Peruvian fruit and a Carmel dish were awesome

Unexpectedly saw this restaurant after running errands with my 81year old grandma, my aunt and mom. I mentioned how much I loved ceviche and they all said they'd never even heard of it. I called in a to-go order not even knowing what the menu was. The gentleman suggested the ceviche arigato, ceviche de pescado and the ceviche mixto ( we added the Brooklynn's sushi roll). When we got home my family of 3 gringas were amazed. They loved the flavor and my grandma finished the scraps of all 4 dishes. Needless to say I can't wait to come back and have a sit down dinner in house as the inside is beautifully decorated and welcoming.

Been here 2x and both visits were excellent! We had a party of 5 one visit then on a separate occasion party of 2 at the bar. Tried the ceviche mix and the aphrodisiac mix- both were tasty. Yuccan potatoes were yummy and served with sauces. A few dishes were served with yellow, green, and red sauces. Yum! The chicken/pork/steak skewers were good as well. Both times focused mainly on the Peruvian dishes. Great service as well. Easily becoming our favorite spot in North Palm Beach!

Don't judge a book by it's cover, from the outside I didn't expect much. However, when I walked in I was surprised it has a South Beach Vibe and the Peruvian/Japanese decor was well done. It wasn't as busy so we were seated and attended to immediately, not a minute went by without refills. The staff is very courteous and friendly, the managers even got a chance to say hello. The food was exquisite and cooked to perfection all in a timely manner. We had the Pulpo a La Parilla that I recommend for anyone that enjoys grilled dishes and something different. For desert we had the picarones which were crispy and fluffy and the helado de lucuma. Next time, I'm omw to Orlando I will definitely make a stop here again.

When we pulled into the parking lot we mentioned the unfortunate location of this venue. However, the interior tells a different story. Spacious, modern, clean and stylish. The menu is filled with options but needs to be better at categorizing their proteins and describing their dishes. Our server was great at recommending and helping us with choices. They offer salted warm, fresh corn nuts at the table. Crunchy on the outside with a starchy inside. I ordered the Filete en Salsa de Marisco. It comeso with mussels, shrimp, scallop, calamari and lightly breaded snapper in a cream sauce. The sauce made the dish and the seafood were cooked perfectly. However the calamari is from frozen as indicated in their uniform shape. The dish comes with a side of white rice. What a grave disappointment when the rice was old, hard and crunchy. Rice is supposed to be light and fluffy. The ill prepared rice was a distraction from a semi decent dish. For dessert we ordered the Quinoa Creme Brûlée, Picarones and a chocolate cake. The brulee was a pleasant surprise. I was reluctant to try it since I was not sure how the the quinoa would play into the dish. The seeds added a texture less prominent than tapioca beads. It was delicious. The picarones were similar to beignet without powdered sugar and drizzled with their homemade honey, unlike any honey ever tasted. Like a maple syrup and brown sugar hybrid, quite unique. The cake was the obligatory birthday stock cake. Nothing spectacular but still chocolate delight. I would return to give them another chance to earn more stars.

Amazing white linen tablecloth restaurant. Excellent service. Great food...had ceviche mixto and salmon roll. Husband had shrimp linguine. He's a non "raw" fish eater and he had many choices. Hard for me to pick. White sangria will be in heaven. Larger portions than expected. Enjoyed the hot corn nuts...not spicy. Waiter very helpful in making sections. Would return weekly!!!!

I came here with a group of three for lunch. We didn't know it was so fancy. We were dressed very casually but the place is very nice. They brought out cancha pretty much right from the skillet. It was really hot. Needed to be salted. It was good. We ordered canchitas a la parmeseana for an appetizer which are baked scallops with parmesean cheese in sea shells. They were pretty good. They had a lot of cheese on them. And I suggest asking for lime with them. We got the ceviche de pescado, jalea mixta, and aji de gallinia. The portions were smaller than what we thought they would be but it was still good. Wish there was more. The prices were decent. They also have sushi options and many other Peruvian dishes. The bar had about six tvs around it. I got the creme brulee with quinoa and it was delicious! The service was really good although there weren't very many people in there while we were there. I only noted the amount of people because service can vary with a lot versus a few customers. Overall, I think this place was pretty good and the closest Peruvian restaurant near Palm Beach Gardens and I will be returning there and trying more of their food. From returning, they have a groupon at the moment(8/16/2015) for $39 that gets you $65 worrh of food/drinks(two wines/beers, an appetizer and two entrees. I decided to try sauvignon blanc from Chile and the tallarin verde con bistec entree. It was super delicious. It's steak with a pasta with a green sauce on it. The steak was cooked very well. Also we came here for dinner this day on a weekday night around 830-9pm. The service was great.

Been here for lunch and dinner and the experiences are always excellent. The food is freshly prepared, highly recommend any of their ceviches, in particular the one with the yellow pepper sauce. Price is very reasonable, servers are very friendly. Nice bar in the middle, location not the best but this place is certainly a must visit

My two favorite cuisine fused together??? Umm hell yea!! Decor is beyond beautiful but the location of the restaurant will makes you doubt the place but trust me...don't! It's always hard to find a good marinated ceviche that's packed with flavor but this place knows what they're doing. What we ordered and thoughts: Ceviche arigato: my favorite so far. original tangy spicy marinated raw tilapia but with a kick of Japanese fusion of soy sauce and wasabi was just a magical experience. Aphrodisiac (ceviche): mixed of all raw seafood marinated very nicely and accompanied with 4 different sauce for extra flavor. My favorite was still the arigato sauce yummy Seco de res: stewed beef with rice and beans. This was sooo good the stewed beef was flavorful and very tender. Teriyaki ribs: ribs were fall of the bone tender and nicely seared with sweet and savory sauce over a bed of fries. Fried fish platter with mixed seafood in tomato sauce: this was good as well. The fish was nicely fried to a crisp and very flaky which I loved.

Very good experience at ceviche arigato. Service was perfect and we had a very nice server. The decor was modern. We got the arigato sushi (really tasty), Parmesan scallops (super decadent), churrasco (excellent), meat platter (very good), and peruvian chicken (pass).

The food is good, but not great. While it is a fantastic option when ordering through delivery dudes, dining in can be a very slow experience. Even lunch takes them forever! We were one of only 3 tables being served and we were there for a little over 2 hours. When ordering delivery our order took only 25 minutes to arrive which was fantastic but when dining in for lunch it took over 2 hours. Our waiters English was also quite poor, which normally doesn't bother me but it led to mistakes with our order like cold sake and confusion between similarly titled menu items. The menu itself is too big and many items have names that are virtually identical to other items. I imagine that the multitude of good reviews for this place are due to the trendiness and novelty of this restaurant and not for the quality of the food or the service.

My family and I just had a really enjoyable easter dinner here tonight. Let me preface the actual review by saying that this restaurant is located where the old Cardello's buffet used to be. The plaza has seen better days so we were a little skeptical walking up to this place. As soon as we walked in we were struck by it's beauty. The decor is contemporary, chic, and very inviting. We brought our 2 year old son also and they didn't seem displeased to have him there. We ordered 5 appetizers and 3 of us had sushi rolls for our entree. We started with the ceviche mixto (my favorite), ceviche aphrodisiac, grilled octopus, teriyaki ribs, and the chicken and steak skewer appetizer. The food was completely rave worthy! For our entrees we had the salmon roll- okay, arigato roll- kind of bland, and the tuna roll- best one of the three. The rice on the rolls were slightly overcooked and just seemed to be missing something. This is not a deal breaker though as the menu is so large you can easily pick something else for an entree. We also ordered two desserts. The doughnuts (picando?) were freshly made to order and were not too greasy. They were pretty perfect actually. We also had the Cheesecake Maracuya (passion fruit) and I loved it! If you don't like passion fruit don't order it, but I though it was pretty tasty. The service was great. All smiles and they answered all of the questions we had. Try this place you won't regret it!!

I eat here once a week. Best Peruvian food I've had in the US. Great atmosphere, excellent service. I recommend the ceviche mixto or the tallarines verdes con churrasco.

First time here. The service was excellent although there weren't many people in the restaurant. We got a jalea mixta and fish ceviche to share. I must say the quality and presentation were high. However, the portions were small compared to other peruvian restaurants I've been to for these dishes. If it weren't for this then 5 stars. All in all, I would come back but probably not for jalea or ceviche. Also, I'm peruvian if that matters.

First time here and very pleasantly surprised. Great service and food and won't break the bank. Can't wait to try more entrees.

I have to say this restaurant is at the top of my list of favorite restaurants. I went to Peru a few months ago and I fell in love with their food. When I come to Ceviche Arigato i feel like I'm in Peru because their food is just as amazing. They also serve Pisco Sour, I wish they served this drink at a lot more places. Their Ceviche and Lomo Saltado are to die for. I highly recommend this place. Good service and good food at reasonable price.

For my first visit at lunch, I thought they did a great job with the buildout and decor of the restaurant. It's the kind of place I could see myself spending time in. I got the signature dish -- the Ceviche Arigato -- and it was very good. Fresh fish and a great sauce as well. I will definitely be back!

It takes a Peruvian national to know good Peruvian food. This place is definitely a good find! The location isn't the most attractive, but you'll quickly forget that once you enter this restaurant. The decor is impeccable and inviting, the service is outstanding, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Whoever said this place is overpriced clearly doesn't know Peruvian food which always tends to be a bit more expensive than other Latin cuisines. Also the dishes are generously sized. We ordered the traditional fish ceviche. As I always say (and the server agreed), the ceviche is the key to knowing whether the rest of the food will be good or not. This ceviche did not disappoint at all! The citrus was on point, the amount of heat was just what we asked for, and of course the corn was Peruvian. We also had the Ronda Criolla which was a sampler of a few traditional Peruvian dishes: aji de gallina, seco de res and chicharron de puerco with salsa criolla. It was a good size dish, enough to share between two people after having the ceviche. The flavors were great, as if it was cooked at home! We also had pisco sour, a traditional Peruvian cocktail, which accompanied the food very well. Unfortunately we didn't leave much room for dessert but they have several sweet options which you won't find in all Peruvian restaurants. Next time we visit we definitely want to try the bavarois, picarones and the lucuma!

The food was excellent and very Peruvian, reminding us of the wonderful food we had in Peru about 6 years ago. The ceviche was especially delicious. Very attractive decor - sophisticated but casual. Looking forward to many more terrific dinners at Ceviche Arigato.

I noticed the sign "Cheviche" while passing by and did a uturn...from the outside, I didn't expect much out of the dining experience, but when we opened the door.....WOW!!! We were blown away! This is the best new restaurant gem around. In fact, we met several people there that were traveling all the way from Wellington and Boynton Beach for this amazing place. The atmosphere is 5 star (you would never guess by the outside), beautiful decor, lighting, and just a great feeling. The food, especially the Cheviche is the best I have ever had. Great staff, wonderful people. We have been back three times in the past week. Give it a try, you'll be hooked!

Listen North Palm Beachers, Lake Parkers, this restaurant is legit. In our neighborhood. It is your civic duty to support this amazing restaurant. Clean food, fresh food, Asian, South American, sushi but even better the eclectic nature of the menu. Great interior. Bar. We MUST make sure this restaurant survives. Put it in your rotation.

I went there with my family of 7 and had a very good experience. The place had great decor and the mood was very nice and earthy. The server that I had was very attentive and the plates came out really fast. I love that we were acknowledged from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the restaurant manager with a hand shake. Overall we were very happy with all the food and drinks we ordered. All of the seafood was super fresh and tasty. We pretty much ordered like family style. One thing that stood out to me was the amount of teamwork I saw from all of the employees helping each other running food, helping clean up tables and keeping everything super neat. I defiantly will take the drive back up here from Deerfield Beach. It was a very pleasant experience and if your looking for great ceviche, fresh seafood, yummy drinks, tasty deserts and excellent service.

We really enjoyed this new spot. It makes sense to mash Peruvian ceviche w Japanese sushi, but this is the first time i've experienced a combo of this type. They also have a number of Italian choices but this time we were there for the FISH! and it ROCKED Had the mixed ceviche. Since K doesnt like her food as spicy as I do, we had the hot pepper on the side (very hot, but not overwhelming). Nice portion size, fresh and tasty fish, nice bite with the citrus and hot pepper, sweet potato and corn added nice balance. The grilled octopus was well prepared, good flavor and nice and tender. We stayed with some pretty straight forward maki this time out. The fish was very fresh and attractively presented. Next time I imagine I will try some of the 'special rolls'. Staff was great, service was prompt and attentive. The decor is modern and very attractive and sets a nice romantic vibe. We will be back!

Great ambience, location is close to PBG, food is good but still a bit expensive. Portions are not the regular latin (big) portions. Staff is great, friendly and bilingual. Had Ceviche arigato: very tasty. Maracuya (passion fruit) cheesecake is really good but it's more like a mousse. Give it a try

Went for dinner on Saturday night with another couple. The place looks super sketchy from the outside, but once you get inside this super hip restaurant, you forget all about the exterior. Very clean and cool vibe. The owner was there and came over to say hello and make his recommendations. We all ordered something different, but everything was great. The best by far was the risotto. It tasted just like mac and cheese and was soooo delicious! I will definitely go back ASAP!!

  • Robyn Y.

Service, style, sushi and ceviche you won't forget! We were in and out in 40 min and had the most amazing meal and service. Carlos recommended the mixed grille for my hubby and ceviche mixto for me. Yum! It's strangely tucked away in an old shopping mall in NPB/Lake Park near Shipwrecks and Family Dollar so don't miss it. We must fulfill our duty as residents of NPB/Lake Park/PBG to keep this place in business!

I heard that this place recently opened and it sounded interesting so we decided to try it for lunch. The plaza it is in isn't very appealing visually and I've been to the bar that was there prior so I didn't have high hopes for the ambiance. The interior completely surprised me. It is very nicely decorated and very pleasant. We were pleasantly welcomed and seated by the host and all of the staff was helpful and friendly. We both had the lunch special. I had seco de res (beef stew with rice and white beans) and she had aji de gallina (chicken in a yellow Peruvian pepper, milk, and cheese sauce) and both were delicious. The lunch special was $8. Apparently the lunch special rotates daily (although there is always a choice of a chicken, beef, or fish special). There are quite a few delicious sounding options on the menu and with the quick service I am sure we'll have lunch here again soon.

I've been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. Right when I walked in I was greeted by a lovely and personable hostess. The atmosphere is wonderful and the beautiful hostess seated us right away at a great table. I don't think there's a bad spot in the whole restaurant. Our waiter, Carlos, was quick and attentive, catering to our every need. The food was delectable and, obviously, impressionable enough for repeat visits.

We were driving through after snorkeling at John Foster State Park and found this place on Yelp. Our waiter Anthony suggested the special which was marinated beef with onions and a side of rice. It was excellent, so tender and tasty. Everyone at the table agreed it was the best dish ordered. Great food, atmosphere & service.

Definitely the best Peruvian/Japanese rest in the Area with a top notch service only found in high end international restaurants but with a family welcoming friendly staff. We had the pleasure of having Luis as our server who was excellent by far but I have to say all of the staff was very attentive and took care of us like royalty. Food was an unbelievable experience and the place was impeccable modern Japanese style. To the owner and the staff my hat is off to you for a superb food, service and concept. For sure we will be back!

The atmosphere was great, classy but modern. The food was fabulous and the service was better. There was a selection of ceviche's to choose from and our server helped us pick the perfect one for us. The flavors were so good together. We will make this a regular favorite dinner spot!

One of the best places for Peruvian food in the Palm Beaches! It was about time a nice looking place like this opened its doors for business in the area. Peruvian food is delicious, but unfortunately there are very few places that offer good Peruvian food. In fact, aside from Victoria's in Lantana, the only other restaurant I would recommend is this one. We ordered the yuquitas with salsa huancaina on the side, the yucca was perfectly fried, crispy outside, not greasy at all, and soft inside. The huancaina sauce needed a little bit more spiciness for my taste, the choros a la chalaca were excellent (again, I would have liked more spiciness), the chaufa de camarones was perfect, so was the ceviche and the chicharrones were really tasty, service was fast and excellent, the waiter spoke perfect English and also Spanish, a mousse of maracuya was our dessert, and it was (according to my date) to die for. We will definitely come back.

The location looks odd specially when you enter the place. Beautiful decor with good music. The food is excellent. The different ceviches we tried are well done. The seafood are fresh including all the ingredients that they used in the preparation. A little bit disappointed with the seafood risotto. Could use a little more time in cooking since there are still some grains of rice that are undercooked and not enough seafood and a little bit on the salty side. The arigato salad is really good. The Lucuma dessert is highly recommended. Clean bathrooms with unique decor. Will go back for sure.

Just another hidden gem in Lake Park. This is a culinary experience you will thoroughly enjoy with an amazing atmosphere straight out of South Beach. Management is top-notch and this restaurant is one more reason the area is on the up and up.

Ceviche Arigato offers a delightful array of my two favourite cuisines. The taste and settings are authentic; a great place for a romantic tryst or a formal affair. Class and taste, in an unlikely area (Northlake and Alt A1A /10th). The sauces are made, in house, with genuine ingredients and authentic flavour, They really should bottle and sell them!

I would give this restaurant five stars. Since I walked in the door, the manager greeted us with a friendly smile. The food was very good and excellent service . Especially , nice decoration . I got the salmon roll because I like to have a sweet sushi roll and It was really good. I think the one that I like the best here is the cervicehe mixto .

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in all my years of dining out. This place didn't do one thing right!! Waiter took order and didn't even check on us or bring a check. I asked what kind of teas they had and he said raspberry and green tea so I said green tea and he brought A HOT GREEN TEA. Guy could barely speak English. Steak was cold and couldn't even cut it. Manager wasn't even available to complain to and their a new business!!!!!!! I knew as soon as I was handed a LAMINATED breakfast lunch type menu it was gonna be bad!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

Went for lunch and it was perfect. I don't remember the names but the fried yuca with the huancaina sauce was crunchy on the outside and tender inside. There was a tapa that was sautéed seafood that came lit on fire! It was perfectly seasoned and not chewy at all! My brother had the green pasta with the skirt steak... Also delicious. We chatted it up with the waiters... The boss has them coming in from Weston where they worked at the original local... what a good move! Shows the pride and dedication these folks have to their food and the customer's experience. Can't wait to go back!

We visited the restaurant for the first time on Saturday night. The space is large and comfortable. Jorge was our waiter and brought us water and drinks very promptly. The pisco sour was spot on! We had ceviche mixto (mild), ahi de gallina (classic chicken dish), seafood risotto and yucaina (fried yucca). We finished up with a lucuma pastry. Everything was delicious! The ceviche was so good that I returned today and got take out for my friends. The owner (Franco) was there and very friendly during today's visit. I want to go again this week! Can't wait to try the lomo saltado! Oh, and I ordered a sushi roll with today's meal as well-yum. Great place- I'll be bringing my friends!

My husband found this restaurant the week it opened. It's a mix of Peruvian & Japanese cuisines in which my husband fell in love right away. Of course he wanted to share his find with me. I'm a retired Chef & restaurant owner of fine dining cuisine. I'm very picky & don't dine out often because of it. I have to say I was blown away with the experience, the menu, the food & the incredible ambiance. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Unique & so lovely. The menu is Tapas & seafood based but not short on its chicken, beef, pork & lamb dishes. The flavors are robust & tantalizing which is even more enhanced by their amazing presentations. The prices are very reasonable considering you get to enjoy an experience of beautiful surroundings, fantastic culinarily delights with out of this world presentations. If you want to enjoy something new & find a new favorite dining spot I strongly suggest you give Ceviche Arigato a try, you won't regret it.
