Wow, what a friendly Resturant . The proprietors are awesome they really care about their guest. The buffet is really nice from salad bar to hot bar. Real mashed potatoes! Fabulous vegetables, meats, soups, salads, and desserts. Makes my mouth water thinking about it. All for one price. (Drinks extra, but in the relaxed atmosphere they even seem to taste better.)

We happened on Harbor Lights almost by accident. My wife had been there 30 years ago. What a pleasant Sunday afternoon. The family couldn't have been or attentive. Brother-in-law Paul was always there to meet our every need. Host Paula was ever ready to tell us about food and family. And the food was excellent. So many choices on the buffet, $11.95, drinks and a bottle of wine, great wine, for less than $30.00. A little off the beaten track but worth it for the beautiful people and place. We are anxious to take our friends for this trip in to Florida's present and past.

Very enjoyable place with nice view. We were there on a Sunday for the lunch buffet which is the only thing on the menu that day. The food was good and they service was very good. They had a good selection of food. The ribs were OK but not great. They were not tender at all. Would go back.

We have some friends who all share a birthday within the same week so we've made it a tradition to make the hour long drive to Harbor Lights every year to celebrate. The buffet is excellent for $12. The food is like home cooked. Best roast beef I have ever had. The setting is lovely sitting right on Lake Panasoffkee with a very nice landscape to view overlooking the lake from the dining room. The owners are very attentive but the older woman who has waited on us each year needs to retire. She acts as though she is very tired of her job and people in general as she seemed annoyed at us quite often. She was like this last year as well. My only other complaint is that I was disappointed in the frogs legs I ordered. I didn't think to ask if they were battered and fried because I had never had them like that. If you like them heavily battered and fried then you will enjoy them. I might add that they were on the greasy side as well. Otherwise you might want to skip them especially since they don't come with the buffet and are an extra 50 cents each. There is a good variety on the buffet with real mashed potatoes and lots more so we will most likely continue our birthday tradition at Harbor Lights. It is worth it to endure Ms. Puss the older woman server because even though she serves with a puss, she does do a good job and the food and atmosphere are worth the drive.

Ambiance: Our server had a salt and pepper beard was very friendly and super energetic. All staff was friendly. Decor was dated with slightly low ceilings and wood paneling. It felt like going to the grandparents house more then a restaurant for better or worse. The crowd was mostly 50+. Very nice view of a lake full of ducks with a couple of bridges and walk ways.

This is the worst restaurant we have ever went to! When we walked in we should have walked out. The carpet was filthy, there were only five (5) dining. The turkey smelled, pineapple fritters were cold and greasy, the shrimp were frozen and not cleaned. They served the food to you, ( it was a Buffet) the man said "do you want more fried shrimp", I said, no we don't like it when the shrimp are not cleaned". He just stared at me! The noodles could not be seen floating in liquid, I asked for bread or fresh rolls, they said there they are, "I said well those 3 pieces are hard and dried up. She said, "OH" and walked off. And we can't forget the plates were dirty, food on backs and fronts. We should have known better than to stay there and even try to eat! Yuck the health department needs to close them down

This was my first visit, we had a group of motorcycle riders and they accommodated us very well. The food was all prepared well and all of the carved meats were tender and delicious. We had a fantastic waitress who was as polite and professional as she was easy to look at, she's a gem. This place has good food, polite and friendly staff, nice view. I will be back.
