This review was mistakenly posted at a different location and after speaking with the Management of that location recently, I am re-posting this review here as this is the location where my experience occurred. The Manager I spoke with was David Tai and this review is based on a visit to this Ruth's Chris from May of 2011. We went here a few months back and the service was so bad we had to leave. My girlfriend had a $50 gift card (and it's one of her favorite restaurants) and I had never been so she wanted to use the gift card and treat me. We had reservations for a Saturday night and when we showed up the hostess promptly seated us. However, after being seated nobody bothered to come to our table for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, we finally had the server come over and take our drink orders. He helped us decide and it took us a few minutes to decide what we wanted after his recommendations and finally decided to try a new salad he talked us into trying. It came a few minutes later and neither of us liked it so we figured we would tell the waiter when he came back except that he never came back. We put the untouched salads at the end of the table and for 20 minutes nobody came by to check on us. Finally a bus boy came and asked if he we were done and wanted to take the salads away. For one, the bus boy should have realized something was wrong because neither of the salads had even been touched so even if it was our choice not to eat them, he should've at least asked us if everything was ok because it wasn't. You would expect that somebody at the restaurant would check up on people after bringing food to the table but it never happened. On top of that, prior to going my girlfriend had been raving about their rolls. In total we were there for 40 minutes and rolls were never brought to our table so I never even got to try the rolls. So after 40 minutes neither of us had eaten anything as the only food brought to our table was the salad neither of us liked and nobody ever came to check up on our table. The fact that it took us 10 minutes just to have our waiter come over and greet us was a bad omen for how the rest of the night would turn out. I went ahead and asked the bus boy to get us the manager but my girlfriend was completely fed up at this point and just walked out. I waited to talk to him to let him know why we were leaving and explained the following to him: 1) 10 minutes to greet us and take our drink orders. 2) Neither of us liked the salad and nobody checked up on us for 20 minutes (the bus boy came before the waiter). 3) No dinner rolls in 40 minutes. I don't know when dinner rolls are supposed to be brought to the table but I assume it's sometime early in the meal, well before the 40 minute mark. The fact that we had barely seen our waiter in 40 minutes and we were both starving was reason enough to leave. The manager was an Asian guy and he was extremely apologetic and friendly. His name was David. I talked to him for a good 5-10 minutes but by this time we were already at the front of the restaurant and my girlfriend was already in the car. I told him we were starving and had not eaten and he seemed genuinely concerned and offered me quite a bit to stay but we were already very annoyed and my girlfriend was already in the car. The manager even came out into the parking lot with me to try to convince my girlfriend to come back into the restaurant so you could tell the manager definitely felt bad about the horrible service we had received. However, she was pretty fed up and embarrassed at that point because Ruth's Chris is one of her favorite restaurants and she consistently told me how great the service is and then after going everything was horrible with no customer service at all. Eventually I'll give the place another try as we still have the gift card to go, but it was an extremely disappointing experience and some of the worst service I have ever received at any restaurant. The only bright spot was the manager who went above and beyond to try to make things right but there is only so much you can do after being treated so poorly for 40 minutes. -Aaron
On August 21, Ruth's Chris Steak House celebrated its New Orleans heritage and cocktail craftsmanship with a five-course "Hand-Crafted Cocktail" dinner at 99 participating restaurants nationwide. Lately I have been exclusively focused on wine and wine pairings. Food loves wine and vice versa. That said, wine pairing dinners more often than not are served with under-seasoned dishes; since the primary focus is on appreciating and highlighting the nuances of fine wine. In contrast, Cocktail Pairings are a marriage of two contrasting skills - Cuisine and Cocktails. Hand-Crafted Cocktails are an innovative skill showcasing best of both: Chef-inspired dish and Cocktail. Without further adieu, I present to you the sensational and savvy 5-Course Hand-Crafted Cocktail Dinner, I had the pleasure of experiencing at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. First Course: Maple-Bourbon-Glazed Jumbo Shrimp with warm five-bean salad accompanied by Seelbach Sparkling Cocktail featuring Sparkling Wine, Bulleit Bourbon and Cointreau. A Whet your appetite combination - Bourbon glazed shrimp matched the smoky flavor of bourbon with a dash of effervescence from the bubbly. The bubbly cleansed my palate while refreshing the mouth for another bite. Second Course: Seared Ahi-Tuna with slaw, crispy rice cake, and fresh cilantro oil accompanied by Moscow Mule featuring Ketel One Vodka, Domain de Canton Ginger Liqueur, Ginger Ale, fresh lime juice and candied ginger. The Ahi-Tuna accompanied by Moscow Mule was the perfect example of how cocktails pairs beautifully with intensely flavored food. The Asian inspired perfectly cooked Ahi-tuna tempered off with the cooling and refreshing vodka cocktail - a ying and yang dish!! Third Course: Slow-Roasted Pork, Arepa Corn Cake creole sauce, and fresh avocado accompanied by Agave Bee's Knees featuring Don Julio Anejo Tequila, Smirnoff Wild Honey Vodka, fresh lemon juice, honey syrup and candied honey stick. Spice lovers, you are in luck today. The slow roasted pork sitting in a bed of bold creole sauce paired with the sweet honey concoction enhanced this dish as a whole. To be honest, I am a single malt whiskey on the rocks kind of gal. Sweet cocktails are usually wasted on me. For once, I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet concoction. The sweetness of the honey syrup and honey stick balanced the heat of the creole sauce - a brilliant pairing if I may say so. Fourth Course: Sizzling Filet Mignon with crispy fried shallots and horseradish crème fraiche accompanied by New Fashioned featuring Bulleit Rye Whiskey, Cherry Heering, Candied Orange and Amarena Black Cherry. Accompaniments include: Potato & Tomato Gratin and Ruth's Creamed Spinach. A full bodied drink for a full bodied dish. This course was specially designed for Whiskey aficionados. Russet in color with rich oaky aromas, the New Fashioned complimented the steak with it's rich texture and body. Medium-rare filet, rye whiskey, and creamed spinach - a dazzling course! Fifth Course: with seasonal berries and crème anglaise accompanied by Chilled Vanilla Irish Coffee featuring Dark Roast coffee, Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Baileys Vanilla Cinnamon Irish. Chocolate, Coffee, and Whiskey in one bite - isn't it the ideal chocolate lover's finale? After such a huge meal, the chilled Irish Coffee was precisely the pick-me-up I needed to drive myself home. And may I add, a decadent finish to this lavish dining experience. Standing ovation to General Manager Tom Brandt, Janielle Whitehead (Sales Manager), Kyle Tague (Southern Wines), Chef Sarmiento, and entire staff of Ruths Chris for enlightening my palate and hosting this luxurious hand-crafted cocktail dinner. Come with an open mind and allow the Chef and Mixologist to tantalize all your taste buds with their delectable pairings. I for one enjoyed each sip and every bite!! Did you know that Magical Dining Month commenced in Orlando this week and Ruth's Chris is participating? Click HERE to Reserve your spot today. And for those of you who enjoy food and drink pairings, Ruth Chris's next pairing is a BEER Pairing on September 26th. Click HERE for more details.

Never thought I could go to Ruth's Chris for under $20. Just had dinner off their happy hour menu where each item is $8.00! I ordered the crab blt with zucchini fries and my friends both ordered the Prime burger. We all enjoyed our meals along with a tasty adult beverage. I LOVE blue cheese stuffed olives so I had the Dirty Goose Martini. Mmmmm!

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Great Food!!! Very disappointing... The head server Gustaf was not friendly or attentive. The servers who were on his team were better then he was. He was very awkward... never introduced himself, never asked us if we were ok, never asked if we needed anything, didn't even ask us for our drink orders or food orders. He would just stand at our table and stare at us. We asked if we can order drinks, we asked if we can order our food now, we asked if we can order another glass of wine, we asked if we can order our dessert. I should've just served the table myself. I would have done a better job. Too bad because the food was good and the ambience was nice. But, the server just made me rather spend my money elsewhere.

Me and my gf had our 1 year anniversary here. It was beautiful. Rose petals on the table. They sat us away from other guests. It was romantic the food was absolutely amazing. The waiter was a little weird. But not the restaurants fault. They took our picture and printed it out for us to take home. They also brought our desserts out with happy anniversary written on the plates.

Loved the atmosphere. The happy hour menu is really limited but aside from that not bad.

My husband surprised me and took me here for our 11th Anniversary. It was great! The steak was cooked perfectly, the sweet potato casserole was great too! I say the only thing that would have been nice is if they would have given us a slice of dessert or something to say thanks for celebrating your special day with us. But I guess since it was Ruth Chris they don't have to do that..But just saying it would have been nice...Also they didn't pay attention when we told them it was our 11th year anniversary as you will see in the picture on the dessert we ordered and paid for they put the wrong year. But the cake was good..lol

So visited Mom for the day and she said a steak would be nice for lunch. Then said "Let's go to Ruth's Chris". Yeow!! But they had some wonderful 3-course Mother's Day specials! The steaks were fantastic as expected, and servers were really on the ball. Ruth's is up there with the best! Mom kept complimenting me on "my choice" to come to Ruth's throughout the meal - some things never change..

Never lets me down. The best steakhouse and fantastic staff. Quite possibly my favorite restaurant. Love the decor and love, love, love the bar. Fantastic creative drinks not to be missed. Great wine menu.

Fantastic Valentines meal!!! Kelly was an amazing server, very attentive and fun!!! They were out of the champagne we wanted so the manager came to our table to apologize and upgraded the bottle for no additional charge! Calamari is so yummy..the red peppers add even more flavor. Our filets were delicious, so buttery and cooked perfectly! We fell in love with this location and will be returning soon!

Always great! Calamari and Ahi Tuna appetizers are both fantastic. Filet is delicious and very buttery. Visited this location several times, always received great service.

Tacky decor. Had a family reunion and all the steaks we ordered were cooked terribly. My niece was given a black burned ny strip, my other niece received a wrong steak that was under cooked, my mother's lobster was under cooked. The only thing the manager did was apologize and did not make it right. For God sakes your are a steakhouse and charging over $40 a steak. Get it right! Will never go there again.

The best Happy Hour in Lake Mary, and by now I think I've tried them all. At $7 a plate, it's a little more than you'd spend at Shulas or Fishbones, but you get more food for your buck, and the Ahi Tuna is the best I've had outside of Hawaii or Japan. The steak sandwich is made with fillet cutoffs, and with a side of fries, its a meal in itself. Certain beers are $3, but you can spend a little more ($7) and get a stiff cocktail. They don't water their drinks down with flavored syrups - just one manhattan or martini is plenty for me! Next time, I'm dragging my friends. Although this happy hour is so nice and low-key, I'm tempted to keep it a secret!

I always bring my dates here. I've probably been here once a week for the last 3 years. They usually have great food and service but words cannot prepare you for the nightmare that unfolded on 4/17/15. Ask for my steak medium rare and the waiter decides to mock me saying that medium rare is not the best way to take a steak. I've been in the steak business for 5 years and I know the best way to take a steak. Anyway, waiter brings my food out cooked to a medium well. After I said I did not order it this way he said I'd like this better. In an effort to not make my date awkward I just went along with it but honestly I'm probably never going to take my dates here again.

Excellent ambiance, the calamari and ahi tuna apps were great. House salad was forgettable. The meat was good but with "wet" aging, it didn't have the beefy intensity of a dry aged steak. Ample seasoning and butter mask the aging shortfall. I ordered warm red center and it came closer to medium. The sides - asparagus, au gratin potatoes and creamed spinach- were standard fare for this caliber restaurant. Service was tops and wine selection good but at a substantial mark up. I would go again (on an expense account) and prefer Ruth to Schula's down the street.

Chiliean sea bass was excellent... Rest of meal was very good! Wait staff well trained and attentive! Nice time.

I've been going to this Ruth Chris' for many years but its been nearly a year since my last visit and I'm suspecting something management related has happened because the service and quality of food has deteriorated considerably, I'm sure Ruth Fertel has turned over in her grave a few times with the diminishing quality of this particular restaurant. We ordered drinks from the bar prior to sitting down at our table and it took forever, the young man behind the bar my told wife rather caustically that he had to chill a martini glass, I'm sorry but how long does this really take and as its my wife's only drink it appears it take 3 times longer at this restaurant than any other restaurant in Lake Mary, what made it worse was she ordered a second at the table and it actually tasted like someone put vodka in cherry kook-aid, it was so nasty sweet. The appetizer (Spicy Lobster) and Caesar Salad s were good, my wife ordered the filet and I ordered the petite rib eye, both steaks were cooked to perfection but but my wife found a nerve going through the middle and mine was considerable fatty. For $40 steaks, I would hope you would get better quality cuts of meat. As for the service, being Mothers day we granted them some latitude, but our entire evening was 3 hrs, by this time we had no patience to sit for dessert, we simply took them home with us. I hate to say this, but with a Shula's 347 and Fish Bones in the vicinity, they seriously need to reevaluate their entire process from service to food, as many casual diners are going to be heading elsewhere.

Never had bad service here. The valet remembers you by name, the hosts are always super friendly, the servers are amazing. This location is great whether you are in the bar or main dining room. The happy hour is an amazing deal. The steaks are amazing here, but honestly my favorite dish is the stuffed Chicken. A must try. Wish they were open for lunch.

17 guests in the entire restaurant's dinning room and at least 5 waiters if not more, but no service, food grossly undercooked, even though I specifically asked to have no blood on my dinner plate, French fries served almost cold. It took forever to get a slice of lemon, and longer to receive the bill, although the waiters seemed to be very friendly and emotionally involved with couple of customers, the tourists like us are better off dinning somewhere else

Excellent happy hour! Food was delicious, but service was awful! We sat at the bar where there were 3 to 4 bartenders. No one was attentive at all. It wasn't that they were overly busy, they just seemed like they didn't care. Our glasses sat empty quite often. The steak sandwich, seared ahi and fried lobster were delish. We'll go back, hoping for better service.

I came here with a large group from work as we were down here for a business event. I assumed we would have a private room but upon arrival, I found two large tables with chairs in the middle of the dining room. This is not ideal as it is hard to really have group conversations. We had a defined menu to select from. The appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and shrimp) were served family style. We could choose a house or Caesar salad. Entree's wise, we could have a variety of steak cuts, seafood or chicken). The sides (mashed potatoes and asparagus) were served family style. Dessert was either a chocolate cake or cheesecake. The appetizers were delicious as was the Caesar salad I had. My filet, ordered medium was rather red but I did not even realize this until I took a picture of it with my phone to send to my husband since the place was so dark. The filet was good as were the sides. When the dessert came (over 3 hrs since we had started dinner), it was massive and I took it to go. Overall, my only disappointment was the length of time it took to eat (3 and a half hours) and the amount of alcohol they pushed on us.

Worst bar service ever! This has been a longtime favorite restaurant of ours but tonight it was awful. Wine pour for $20 glass of wine was 3 oz but didn't even look like it was that much. Bartender was not that busy but couldn't even take a minute to fill up water or get us a beer. I was so disappointed. Food was ok but we should have went to del friscos or Hillstone's.

This is new to me- We dont have Ruth Chris' in Colorado and I truly doubt it would even survive. For a myriad of reasons. But... when I am wrong about something- which hardly ever happens- ha ha- I fess up. And I was wrong about this place. What I was wrong about- I had gotten a gift card for this place, and I was kinda like, Oh brother- one of Florida's Steak House franchise. I do NOT like franchise anything, for the most part. We ordered take out- Yes take out for holiday meal this past month, and it was really really good. I ordered the Prime Filet. A cut 2 inches high cooked American blue- as blue as only the law would allow. so more like Saignant. The 2 inch high Filet was delicious. It said Hello palate, and then, it all but melted in my mouth. Sorry to say it- we did order sides- that I don't even remember eating- the Prime steak was that good. And the Chef cooked it to my dietary needs, low salt. Hint to people. First- do not hesitate to talk to the floor manager, I believe her name is Melissa, and she is awesome. Hands down I would use her talents and services as a liason for any party or family dinner at home, and Chef. The Chef- well he gets it right- the First time. Also, I see some people are ordering the price fixe menu- mind you this seems like a good deal but beware you are NOT getting a Prime Steak. I dont know about the drinks I don't really drink cocktails before a Prime steak. I found it is too interrupting of the steaks quality. 4 Stars because I still stick- I don't like Franchises and I am used to better, all around Steak houses, of the independent owner ship kind.

I am loooong overdue to write a review for this place! Ruth Chris' food and service are superb!!! We were immediately seated in a nice and intimate booth. The atmosphere was very pleasant and their staff is very accommodating, friendly and attentive. We had the Ruth Chris' classic with the salad, rib-eye steak, mash potatoes and sauteed mushrooms and the chef's dessert (choclate cake with fruit toppings). I was pretty impressed with how tasty the salad was, everything was just right (even for salad). AND as soon as the sizzling steak came out... the aroma of the steak was mouth watering I just need to dive in! Everything tasted excellent! Dessert is not what Ruth's Chris is known for so I wouldn't recommend it, but by the time you get through the steak you wont even have any room left for dessert. =) Sure it's a little on the pricey side, but you get great food and great service, what more can you ask for-- it's totally worth the experience if you're a meat lover. This is by far the best Ruth Chris experience to date.

A friend of mine decided to have an intimate wedding dinner here. The restaurant is quite lovely, very romantic, and classy. The service is very attentive, plentiful, and helpful. As a vegetarian, I usually end up with just the sides, the mashed potatoes, mushrooms and creamed spinach. It's not my first choice for a full course meal obviously, but for the ambiance it's fine on occassion. The restaurant offers complimentary valet parking and appears to have several rooms for private dining along with the booths for the cozier meals.

Disappoiinting is the best way to describe my experience last night. Had a business dinner with a total of five people. Appetizers - calamari was ok, nothing special - Osso Bucco Ravioli was excellent. Salads were good, and service overall was good. Entree's most people like what they ordered but me. I ordered the 12oz ribeye and frankly it was mediocre at best. Not a very good cut of meat and not prepared that great - I might be comparing to what I had two nights ago on Mother's Day at The Capital Grille - which was fantastic. Side dishes were average - mashed potatos were ok, asparagus was not too good, steamed and served with hollandaise. Kind of a tired way to prepare and we didn't finish it. Overall not that great of a meal for the price. I've been to Ruth's Chris in other parts of the country and usually get a filet or strip....won't be trying another ribeye if I ever go back.

I have been to Ruth's Chris many times, including several trips to this location. Pricey? Yes. Have I ever had a bad meal? No. If you are looking for a great steak then this is the place to come.

The reason we go to RC is the food and service are top notch every time we have been. Not only in Lake Mary, but Boston, NYC and Seattle as well. Once again, we we're not disappointed. They run a special for $49 that included soup or salad, entree, side dish, veggie and desert We all had the house salad and filet. One of us had baked potato and broccoli the rest had roasted brussels and mashed For desert we has a chocolate cake and a cappuccino

Nicest Ruth's Chris I've ever been in! The decor is on point. Huge comfy red chairs, awesome little private nooks, high end all the way. We were a large group so we had a lot of food variety hit the table. The fav apps was the spicy lobster and tuna. So delish - we could have stopped there. Onto salads. Wedge was really fresh and huge. Several of us ordered the filet mignon - they were all severely undercooked. We all ordered medium, and in all cases they were virtually black and blue. They tried to fix, but throwing filet back on the grill just kills it. So my lesson learned is to order the ribeye which was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. Sides of potatoes of each kind, the au gratin was the best, and spinach, creamed spinach was super rich. Dessert was the bread pudding. Enough for 4 to share. Same with the chocolate cake. Would def go back order the same apps but get the ribeye for dinner! Service was great as would be expected!

Came here for a group party (10 people). Food was good but not excellent. The service was just average. However, we were given an incorrect bill and we had to ask to have a substantial charge removed. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and the decor but I'm not sure I would come again. Note: The cocktail list was very nice.

The meal was lackluster. My wife's steak was to be medium well. After she cut the steak it was on the rare side. They took it back and re-fired the same steak. By then the juice ran out. We're done. There are plenty more steak houses.

Although I've dined at quite a few of them from coast to coast, this was my first visit to this particular Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and as always, it did not disappoint. The interior furnishings in this one were modern, pleasant and well appointed with either booths or tables with high-backed chairs. I believe this accounted for the relative quiet we experienced while dining and although the main dining area was packed with other patrons, we were able to have a pleasant dinner conversation the whole time we were there. The service was exceptional and our steaks were delivered hot, sizzling and cooked to a perfect mid-rare. I always tell myself to skip the side dishes and go for just the steak and a salad and leave room for a little dessert. It didn't happen this time (again) and I ended up stuffed (again.) Oh well, I'll be much better disciplined when I come back next month (he said confidently.) As I mentioned at the beginning, I have been to a lot of Ruth's Chris restaurants over the years and never had a bad experience at any one of them. The steaks are always perfect, the service is well above par, the wine selection is above average and the well drinks are more than ample. What's not to like about all of that? "life's too short for bland food, bad wine, weak coffee or cheap whiskey" Ray

We'll I have to add that it was a little disappointing , probably will only go to bar next time......first I want to say that they messed up my reason for being there, birthday not an anniversary , too much butter on the steak, they stunk me and my wife against the wall where we couldn't even move, it was horribly dark and could barely see the menu, ........when we were finished the server messed up our check and added two appetizer we didn't even have, which was about 30 bucks more on the bill, and finely last buck not least we called and complain and I spoke to two managers, the first one was very nice a female and received my complaints with concern but said to me I would have to speak with the general manager,he was not available bit called me in the evening that was almost 3 weeks ago ......said he was sorry and said he will send me a 25 dollars gift certificate that I still haven't received yet, we'll it goes to show you, maybe if I didn't have a Spanish last name I probably would have been treated better........never again.

It's Ruth's Chris, need I say more? Ok fine, their cocktail shrimp is perfect, as are their steaks, the berries and cream dessert is light and the perfect way to end what's always a filling meal.

I have been to this location many times. Steak is consistent, staff is attentive, I really dislike the $15.00 a bottle corkage fee! Capitol Grill in Orlando will waive that ridiculous fee. Do they charge everybody who just wants water $15.00?

Slow service. Very loud. Not a venue for a nice dinner with your significant other. Steaks not as good as advertised. Have had much better at Morton's and other steak houses.

This spring, Angie McLean, the Sales Manager at Ruth's Chris Steak House located in Lake Mary, FL helped coordinate a graduation dinner for 30 people. Angie's professionalism and attention to detail was superb. She handled all of the preparations ranging from customizing the menu to flower arrangements. As a result of her efforts, the graduate and his family and friends had a wonderful meal while celebrating his accomplishments.

$7 happy hour menu, who knew? I love the feel of an exclusive environment without the prices. Was very surprised to see affordable offerings during happy hour. Watch out for their signature 'hot plate' 500 degrees to be exact, providing a unique experience while enjoying your steak.

I love the modern feel. They have a great bar and a good bar menu. They make good drinks, have a good wine selection and the food always great. My rule when at a steakhouse get steak and they make a good one. I also like the AHI Tuna app.
Celebrated 21 birthday and requested it to be special with a nice dessert, etc. His steak was undercooked so by the time it was returned, most dinners were eaten. I chose the magical dinner which was suppossed to by 4 oz filet and shrimp. Well, I received a 2 oz filet mignon and 4 small shrimp. Flavor was good, but very dissapointed in meal size. Would have been nice to have been forwarned. My son received a scoop of ice cream "on the house". The table next to us received lighted candles. I paid for the dessert. No special anything at all for him.

Ruth Chris has something that I have not been able to find at very many restaurants. They serve good food consistently. Yes they are expensive and that is why I only come here a few times a year. But I don't have to worry that my food might not be good like at virtually every other restaurant. The steak is always perfectly cooked. The lobster tail is always cooked perfectly (lobster tail is almost always overcooked anywhere else I order it). The sides aren't an afterthought here. They are delicious. The broccolini and the mashed potatoes are amazing. The chicken breast stuffed with garlic herb cheese is out of this world. My wife usually gets fish and it is always perfectly cooked and delicious. The service is always very good. One complaint I have is the dining room is in desperate need of remodeling. It's the old crusty fine dining look with high backed chairs and the dark stuffy look with lots of red velvet. They tried to add a modern touch with some ugly orange thing hanging from the ceiling and horrible modern "art" paintings on the walls. You know the stuff with paint splattered on a canvas. And it is a little over the top when the waiter takes out a straight razor looking thing and starts scraping the crumbs off the table after your meal. It wouldn't be too annoying if he did it quickly. But most of the time, it seems like he's shaving the table for several minutes and you have to stop talking and watch him in uncomfortable silence. And the music is that horrible new age jazz that every restaurant seems to play these days. But the fact that the food is amazing every time I go outweighs all the negatives.

This restaurant is excellent at what it does: steak. I had an awesome ribeye and was satisfied with the meal. It's just very expensive. For the price, I was expecting that extra flourish I've seen at other restaurants of similar price. It just never came. I think somewhere presenting itself as fine dining needs to go that extra mile. I didn't get that from Ruth's Chris. I'm not sure I'll go back again, since price is comparable to a Brazilian steakhouse, and that seems much more worth the money.

We love this place. Excellent atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Great service. The best steaks around. Regardless if you sit in the dining room or the bar area the review is all the same. Excellent.. Excellent.. Excellent!!

-Aaron

Filet Mignon is spot on - ALWAYS!!! So, is the creamed spinach. Always yummy and romantic atmosphere. They also have a bar area which is a little less formal but still a very classy/fancy restaurant. Their deserts are so yummy and even if you're tummy is full they'll pack them up to go - Creme Brûlée is amazing! Probably my favorite restaurant to go to on date night.

(5)Cici C.
Loved the atmosphere. The happy hour menu is really limited but aside from that not bad.
(4)Shaunda H.

(5)Cindy R.
(5)B L.
Always great! Calamari and Ahi Tuna appetizers are both fantastic. Filet is delicious and very buttery. Visited this location several times, always received great service.
(5)Annette B.

(5)Daren M.
My partner and I celebrated our 14th anniversary there tonight. We had great food and great service. We will be back again!
(5)Michael D.
(2)Chuck Z.
Lauren and Kelly were awesome! They love their job and we could tell. David the manager was also on point. Thanks y'all!
(5)Joseph T.
(4)Dale A.

(2)Eric J.
(5)Margaret Z.
(1)C R.

(4)C J.
(2)Jenneffer P.
ALWAYS fabulous service. We love to visit and relax for the evening with beautiful wine. Thank you!

(5)Rhea P.

(2)Adrian B.
I have been to Ruth's Chris many times, including several trips to this location. Pricey? Yes. Have I ever had a bad meal? No. If you are looking for a great steak then this is the place to come.
(5)John B.
(5)Jack R.
(4)Heather P.
(3)Bob P.
The meal was lackluster. My wife's steak was to be medium well. After she cut the steak it was on the rare side. They took it back and re-fired the same steak. By then the juice ran out. We're done. There are plenty more steak houses.
(2)Ray S.
(5)Mike N.
Well its Ruths Chris. Very good location, with no alcohal you can get away with -$60. I frequent RS around the US and use this strategy
(4)Samuel G.
(1)Pranit P.
It's Ruth's Chris, need I say more? Ok fine, their cocktail shrimp is perfect, as are their steaks, the berries and cream dessert is light and the perfect way to end what's always a filling meal.
(5)Alex F.
I have been to this location many times. Steak is consistent, staff is attentive, I really dislike the $15.00 a bottle corkage fee! Capitol Grill in Orlando will waive that ridiculous fee. Do they charge everybody who just wants water $15.00?
(4)Wendy H.
Love love love! Everything is great, I've tried it all, promise lol. Great for company parties as well. It is quite expensive but you get what you pay for here.
(5)Tzeitel H.
Never thought I would be at a Ruth Chris with cheap "banquet seating" - who knew they would stoop to that level!
(1)Ed M.
Slow service. Very loud. Not a venue for a nice dinner with your significant other. Steaks not as good as advertised. Have had much better at Morton's and other steak houses.
(2)Lawrence C.
Standard fare for a Ruth's Chris, but I'm not complaining.
(4)DK P.
(5)David W.
$7 happy hour menu, who knew? I love the feel of an exclusive environment without the prices. Was very surprised to see affordable offerings during happy hour. Watch out for their signature 'hot plate' 500 degrees to be exact, providing a unique experience while enjoying your steak.
(4)Rod H.
I love the modern feel. They have a great bar and a good bar menu. They make good drinks, have a good wine selection and the food always great. My rule when at a steakhouse get steak and they make a good one. I also like the AHI Tuna app.
(4)Janene H.
Ruth's Chris is a great special occasion steak house. They have recently started offering lighter, less expensive fare so you can enjoy them more frequently. Ruth's Chris's gimmick is that they serve their steak sizzling on a super hot plate. It is so hot you can feel the heat coming off of them! They only season their steak with salt, pepper and a touch of butter. Although their steaks are very good they are not my favorite (that would be Kres or even Charley's). The service is top notch and the food is fresh and delicious. They have a new set menu which allows you to choose an entrée, salad, side and dessert for either $40 or $50, depending on your entrée selection. I ordered off the $40 menu and got a petite filet with jumbo shrimp, Caesar salad, a side of mushrooms and chocolate cake and vanilla berry pudding duo. We also split a sweet potato casserole which is a must! My steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, but the shrimp weren't as "jumbo" as they should have been. The salad was fantastic, light and crisp and coated with dressing that was obviously freshly made. I love the sweet potato casserole and especially that crunchy sweet crust! The desserts were small but fit just perfectly at the end of a big meal. I also got to try the bread pudding and although I'm not usually a fan of bread pudding this one was indulgently good. It was moist, rich and creamy. This location is the newer of the ones in Central Florida and is romantically quiet and chic. I loved our huge, high backed booth, one of many tucked along the walls. The booth definitely encouraged before or after dinner cuddling!
(4)Cindy S.

Excellent.. Excellent.. Excellent!!
