Great food, decent prices, and free soft-serve! The salad bar rocks, for those into such, and the sandwiches are great. The Beefeater (French Dip) hits the spot, or the New York Yankee will fill your stomach. When its in season, make sure to get the special Roast sandwich with horseradish. Staff is always accommodating, though seems almost completely different every visit. Sometimes a little late opening the dining area in the morning, and weak cell phone signal inside the building. Great place for breakfast, lunch-as-breakfast, lunch, or dinner! (And don't forget the free soft-serve & bread!)

Hey, the food isn't bad. Not amazing, but not bad. I enjoy the included ice cream. But seriously, every available table was dirty, I was waiting for like 10 minutes while they all passed me waiting and no one did anything. I eventually had to ask someone and they finally came. But that being said, I'll still come back because I like the California club. I wish they would let me add tip at the register for the people who bring the food out.

Fresh salad. Good soup. Staff was a little weird about answering my gf's questions on recommendations. Stuffed myself full of croutons and their delicious thick ranch dressing. They have soft serve. What more do u want ?

Incredibly, this is my first dine-in experience at Jason's, having always just done mass or individual take-outs. Previously, the closest from work was 7 miles away, but even after the Lake Mary location opened, all I'd done was a couple of pick-ups. So in a way, this was a first-time experience. And what an experience it was. We had visitors from out-of-town. When our guests suggested 'soup and sandwich' for lunch after church last Sunday, I thought of Jason's right away (maybe subliminally reminded by the name of one of our visitors, my wife's niece's husband). They were pretty busy at 1300 hours on a Sunday afternoon - smart move securing a table for 6 while others are taking care of ordering. In case you didn't know, most of what you'll find in Jason's is organic. Even their bottle drinks are great, and not pricey considering that fountain pop is $2. My wife went with my recommendation, which is almost what I order ALL the time when I do the take out: the wild salmonwich, which is a nice piece of 3.5-4 oz. sockeye between bread of your choice - you get change from $9. What a deal! The salad version for just under $10 is a great option as well. Everyone praised their food choice. I opted for the salad bar; itt had great variety, but what was most remarkable was that bowl of field greens. If that is not THE most impeccably impossibly fresh bowl of salad I've laid eyes on, I need a white cane. You know how usually it's soggy or wilted because the leaves are so delicate? There was not a single leaf out of place in that bowl. I was just blown away! They also have a little station where you can get different toppings even if you are not getting the salad bar: croutons, condiments, chopped nuts, even whole mixed nuts. So those who go for the salad bar, but worried about protein, need not worry. You can add a protein like chicken for a small extra charge, but quite frankly, the tub of true bacon bits, all the legumes, the peas - there's enough protein here to afflict the unsuspecting with instant gout. The coup de grace (as far as one's calorie-counting is concerned) is a little station not so hidden in the back; folks, can you say 'free ice cream'? There's vanilla and chocolate soft serve, or a swirl of the two, in a baby cone or a baby dish, JUST enough to top off a perfect lunch. The sad thing is, I think my take-out days at Jason's are over. There will be no more indulging in that unsavory habit, of smudging my keyboard with fingers stained from the juices of a wild salmonwich. Damn - I'm getting hungry writing this review!

This review wont be your most informative but I thought I would write one anyway. My friend and I stopped here while driving through town. I didn't go in, but she ran in and ordered their Strawberry Shortcake (as seen in pictures). She thought the service was great. Her cake was beautifully put together and tasted very good! It was fresh, light, and not too sweet. It was a short visit, but enough to make me want to come back when I'm in town again.

It's a good and quick healthy choice... If your on the go... But if you would like to sit down you can enjoy your meal there.... You also get free ice cream while you wait for your order... So worth the come in.... I love this place.

Our food was enjoyable and the service was decent. The decor is nice considering this is 'quick' food. I just found it to be pricey but to be fair I'm used to inexpensive Brooklyn delis.

This is my third time at this new location. Everyone was pleasant and the food is consistently good. Everything looked clean, although I had to switch tables because the A/C was dripping on me. The complimentary muffins, crackers and nuts are great to nibble on while you are waiting on your food. And who doesn't love complimentary ice cream after your meal? There was a fly cruising around inside, but maybe I just need to take a shower.

New location in Lake Mary. Great salad bar! Set up is different than other Jason's Delis in the area and was confusing at first. Soups and sandwiches are popular too but I usually make a beeline for the computer where you can order your salad right away with no wait. Ice cream is delicious on a hot day.

  • Mainette P.

Wrong soup, cold soup, the avocado from my salad was brownish, no dressing for my salad, no cups for ice cream, no ice cream, when they finally fixed, the ice cream was horrible, and the list keep going! Disappointed! Nothing in comparison with the Altamonte location. Never again.

  • Alex M.

I have nothing against Jason's Deli per se, but I think this is a very poor choice for a new location. If you are looking for a good sandwich go to That Deli, in the same plaza. You'll get a better sandwich with fresher ingredients, a full-size side, better service, and you may even have some leftover for later. All for the same price. Fresh salad bar, big sandwiches with lots of variety and free ice cream when you dine in. Fast service but they got my order wrong once in drive thru and sometimes the dining area can stay messy even during the dead hours, but not a deal breaker. I love their taco salad!

Poor atmosphere. Lame salad bar. All around bad experience compared to other Jason's Deli.

This is the smallest Jason's Deli I've seen. The entire setup is different but they have a great service. I love their salad bar and soups.

We've been big fans of Jason's Deli for a while now and this location keeps the love going. Sandwiches are always good but this is one of the few places with a great salad bar and one that keeps me coming back. They have some things that not many other places include like kalamata olives, red and yellow peppers, garlic toast, banana pudding (with vanilla wafers) to name a few. They also have a good selection of soups but my favorite is the spicy shrimp gumbo. If you like muffaletta's, give theirs a try. Highly recommended and the staff is always friendly.

One star is being nice. I have given this place countless attempts and chances. We love the Altamonte springs location and will drive 20 minutes out of our way to go there even though lake mary is down the street. We even waited 6 plus months hoping it was better to give it another shot. Two of the same older men one is a manager and one prepares food is absolutely terrible. Each time we have gone including as recent as today our food is always wrong in some way. They have a hard time reading the order the cashier put in and was correct on the receipt. I order a panini you give me a salad????? My favorite chicken sandwich taste terrible and is dry. My soup wasn't even hot and no apology was provided or manager was notified. I got my food after my significant other. I walked out and left the full sandwich since it was so terrible. The cheese wasn't melted which always is as it is a hot panini. The cheese was thrown on in a whole square cold with raw onions and dried up brown chicken. It wasn't worth the time getting a manager as this has happened countless times. An empty place at dinner time explains it all. The sad thing is the right doesn't know what the left is doing and I've been to other Jason's deli locations that are awesome! This location the company should clean house from top down before the location fails. To top it off I got a potato to go for a family member and they couldn't find it and said it wasn't done. 5-10 min later the lady who took my order got it from the to go section. The whole time it was already ready and was just sitting.

I've been to a few Jason's Deli's in the SE. This one was pretty bad. Sandwiches were half-assed at best. The salad bar was great though. That was what saved the experience... But we came for the sandwiches.

We go to Jason's Deli because they have gluten free options, such as their gluten free, organic chicken nuggets & the option to use gluten free sandwich bread for the sandwiches. My little boy is allergic to wheat & it's been a struggle to find good options that he'll enjoy. This is helpful. I wish more places would get on board and provide yummy GF options.

I usually like Jason's deli, this one in Lake Mary has been disappointing. My first visit was shortly after they opened and I thought the subpar sandwiches were due to new staff. Yesterday I ordered an original Reuben and the bread was barely toasted, greasy and soggy.

  • James D.

I'm a fan of Jasons in Altamonte, they consistently produce great sandwiches, which is why it's so surprising that the Jasons in Lake Mary should be such a miss. Given that a sandwich is in the region of $10, it should be pretty well made, but my Rueben was sitting in grease with the components roughly thrown together, and my wife's club sandwich arrived on some kind of croissant, which is a gross concept best left to McDonalds. There are better alternatives in the area.

  • Amber R.

I love this place. There is always something for anyone and everyone to eat and the atmosphere is great. Staff is always nice and it's always clean.

JASON's, That other DELI. Quick serve, drive through, salads, sandwiches, free ice cream, smartphone discounts. My wife and I found this brand new location and building quite vacant at 4:30pm on Thursday. The menus as you come in, are quite extensive, and required purusing before the cashier. She was friendly, competent, and thorough. At first though, she forgot to apply my mobile phone coupon. It discounted the second entree' by half. We ordered two roast beef provolone sandwiches au jus. One on croissant, one on french bread. I replaced my chips with fruit for an extra $1.79. I also ordered a bowl of vegetable soup. After twenty minutes of waiting, we were served, but incorrectly. My wife's "beefeater" was not on a croissant. I was served a cup instead of a bowl. These were corrected with apologies by both the server and someone we guess was a manager. This was my first time there. I found the food OK. She had sliced rare roast beef at her last Jason's Deli delivery from Altamonte Springs. Todays' was well done shredded. I went to get us our free ice creams. The four or five foot box of cones was empty. I had to find a new one in the back, and open it. The ?manager once again returned to our table to apologise. The dining room was large, comfortable, spacious, and clean. So too was the rest rooms. The music was soft easy rock/folk contemporary. Construction materials were rust treated sheet steel, brick, and tile, without a dropped ceiling. I was hoping to find an alternative to the deteriorated food and service at Toojay's and that other deli. We were disappointed. We are not ready to render a verdict until maybe we visit again. See my other Lake Mary reviews in UrbanSpoon.

Salad bar is best bet. Sandwiches not so much. That Deli in the same plaza makes a much better sandwich for the same price

Wow, these guys really struck out. I ordered a half sandwich on gluten bread with side salad. This was our first time there, so we didn't know the routine. The cashier handed me an orange salad placard along with our number to put on our table. I walked over to the salad bar and didn't see any salad plates and was going to ask the woman filling the containers where to get the plates, but she looked pretty p*ssed about something, so I figured when they served the food they would give me my plate. Ten minutes later, our food arrived and the server said I was supposed to turn my placard in at the end of the line and they would have given me a plate. I told the server that the cashier didn't tell me that, and the server said that she was probably tired of telling people that they have to do that. Seriously? The gluten free bread that they used was disgusting and fell completely apart. I couldn't eat it and had to have my food boxed up so I could make a sandwich at home with my own gluten bread. Then we found a piece of plastic in my daughter's mac and cheese, so I had to make her dinner when we got home as well. Do yourself a favor and go to That Deli which is just yards away from this place. Their food is friggin' AMAZING! Jason's Deli is awful!
