Fazoli's is an Italian-American fast casual restaurant chain headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. It was founded in 1988and is now owned by Sentinel Capital Partners. As of 2015, there are 213 Fazoli's located nationwide. The restaurant chain specializes in Italian cuisine and dishes. Carl Howard is the company's president and CEO.

I ate here on Saturday for lunch with my mother after having been up since 3:30 am to fly into Orlando. We were tired, we were starving and able to walk in for lunch while we awaited news on our room. We didn't order any special drinks but we both ordered the roast beef dip, hers plain, mine with no horse radish cream, both requests met with enthusiasm. The bread was fresh yet a little crunchy on the outside, which I love and the roast beef itself was tender, not at all chewy and absolutely delicious. I had the homemade potato chips which were awesome and my mother had the fries which were okay. We were both too stuffed for dessert but would return here again.

Yum! This little gem is located at Disney's Key West resort, which we learned is modeled after a restaurant in Key West. My friend choose this spot because we decided we wanted mimosas with breakfast. We were not disappointed. We each had a mimosa, she ordered the banana bread French toast, and I ordered the eggs Benedict florentine, which had a key lime hollandaise sauce. Everything tasted great, and we enjoyed our meal in the relaxing, laid back atmosphere. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and helpful. If I am back on this side of town again, I will definitely come back. The key lime hollandaise sauce is definitely worth a trip across town!

Same menu for lunch or dinner, which is a disappointment. Special was the same as the three days before. Food is good, burger was really delicious. Oh and the homemade potato chips are AWESOME. Service is always good, but it took them 15 minutes to seat us on the patio with several open tables, and with a reservation. It wasn't that busy, so that was total negative.

Meant to go here for breakfast per the reviews but made it for lunch - the food was fine overpriced but that is expected. They take the disney dining plan so it was busy. I was paying cash and would not return. Again the food was fine but nothing you couldn't get at Applebee's for the same quality but cheaper. We had two servers a male who was really good Jeffery maybe and a female who was terrible. Forgot the lemons for the iced tea after repeatedly asking, drinks went unfilled unless Jeffery noticed they were empty, the food took a while to come out and then neither server checked back to see if the food was ok or if we needed anything. Empty glasses and plates were left on the table to the point of me having to push plates aside to have room to sign the bill. The female server literally stood by and watched me push plates over to have room to sign for her tip. The cook/chef kept coming out from the kitchen to check on a certain table , don't know why, maybe that explained the delay in service for the rest of the patrons.

Absolutely great place, food was amazing and the ambiance was spot on with the Key West theme the resort had going on. What threw me off and made this place lose 2 of its stars was the service that was provided to us. We had to wait 15+ minutes just to receive our drinks and another 20+ to receive our food, which is not bad timing, however we saw our server 2 times, when we put our order and to give us our checks. I know why she barely bothered with us, since gratuity was automatically added to our receipt, which was a really bad thing to do since they will get our money no matter how good or bad they are. Otherwise the food is spectacular!!!

Several good meals here this week - a great option when it's too much work to go to the parks! Loved the Cobb salad and the pot roast. Both dishes, though very different, reflected freshness and care. The bread here is delicious! Try the burger with shrimp if you are an adventurous eater. Crab cakes and onion rings were fairly standard fare. Staff was busy but friendly and responded well to friendly courtesy from us - but it's clear they deal with a lot of Grumpy and Cruella types here and they take it in stride.

Ate here last night, and the shrimp po boy did not disappoint! The service was great, the prices aren't crazy, and they were surprisingly fast for the day after Christmas, too! I will most likely be back!

Had lunch here with a friend and we really loved it! It's a smaller restaurant with seating outside, when we arrived it wasn't too busy and we had an ADR (so you may not need one visiting here). We experienced a small problem with parking and ended up parking near the cottages on the other side of the road. There isn't much to walk around and see here (unlike Boardwalk or the Magic Kingdom resorts), so we basically ate and then headed out... But the food was really great! We ordered the crab cakes and conch fritters for appetizers, they were both fantastic and tasted very fresh. I had a chicken caesar salad, it was good - just a normal salad, and my friend had the shrimp & grits, she loved it. Our server (Shana, I want to say?) was absolutely wonderful, very attentive and kept us laughing until we left. In fact, even the hosts were very friendly. Great restaurant all around.

Olivia's is one of our odd go-to places around Disney. We've been able to get group seating here, last minute, on more than one dinner occasion, and with a nicely varied menu and full bar, we're generally able to satisfy everyone in the party. It's not too far off the beaten path -- Old Key West is easy to get to, and Olivia's is right near the resort's gate -- with ample parking, to boot. I don't think I've had a single menu item here over the years that I didn't enjoy. It's good, family-friendly fare.

We have been here a number of times but finally getting to review. This is one of the better kept secrets of disney world. The food is very good, and a number of items that are comfort foods, service always spot on, and atmosphere is good for the family without cramming Disney down your throat. We had the buttermilk fried chicken, and pork chop. Both were well cooked, well seasoned, and hot. After 4 nights on the Disney Dream Cruise ship, the family agreed that this was the best meal we hAd all week. It is rarely crowded, but get a reservation. Well worth the drive, walk, bus ride to old key west. We don't love the resort itself, but do love Olivia's.

I was do excited to try this restaurant. I must admit it was a disappointment. The atmosphere is great. The decor is perfect. I'm a lady so of course I checked out the restrooms. They were clean and perfectly themed. The service was good. We came at 1 p.m. After the lunch rush so there were only 3 tables. We ordered the crab cakes. They were a bit bland. The sauce was tasty. The Cobb salad is good. The dressing again was a non event. The salad was better without the dressing. We also had the shrimp po boy. It was not good. Greasy and bland. We did not finish it. So for the salad, crab cake appetizer, shrimp sandwich and a glass of tea a little over $50.

Really cool, laid-back atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Fun bar drinks. Oh, yea, they have great food to. I had the shrimp and grits, very good. Mom and dad had the ribs - yikes thru were good, juicy, and tender. Wife and son had the fried chicken special: good southern comfort food. Well worth the adventure :-)

I visited the Old Key West Resort last weekend with friends and made a reservation at Olivia's Cafe for lunch. It has a beachy atmosphere with lots of nautical influence and faux trophy fish on the walls. We seemed to beat the rush, as there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. Our server was very enthusiastic and took our drink orders immediately. For my meal, I ordered the plain roast beef dip with provolone and a side of fries. I thought it was very tastey, but overpriced. I suppose this is to be expected anywhere in Disney though. The roast beef was tender and the au jus was flavorful. I was also able to try a bite of the Southernmost buttermilk chicken meal, which I thought was good and the portion was a little closer to the price point. The meal was decent but I would certainly expect a little more for the cost.

Oh Disney, how you charge a premium for your restaurants. Some of them are deserving, while others are definitely not. Olivia's Cafe, tucked away in the Old Key West Resort falls somewhere in the middle. While the food was very good, I cannot honestly say that I haven't had better for a more reasonable price. For an appetizer, my fiancee' and I split an order of the Conch Fritters. The fritters themselves were pretty standard but the remoulade that came with the order made them pretty darn good. Its a shame that conch is just getting that much harder to come by as it makes for some very delicious eating. My main course was the Plantation Key Pork Chop. I asked for the pork chop to be as rare as possible (what can I say, I like to live dangerously). Now, this could have been the flaw of the size of the pork chop, since it was so thick of a cut, but it ended up coming out at probably medium most of the way through and only medium rare as it got closer to the bone. The flavor was good but the seasoning was barely noticeable. Overall, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good. I doubt I would go back, though; simply due to the overall price of the meal.

Old Key West is an awesome environment but was not a huge fan of Olivia's. It may have just been what I ordered. I got a burger and it was as dry as a desert and I got it medium! Was not impressed but the Disney environment more than makes up for it. Our waiter was amazing and it made a huge difference in the enjoyment of the meal.

I had high hopes for this place. Many people recommended it and I was so excited to try it. I finally made it that way and went for lunch with family. Firstly, the menu was very small. There wasn't much to chose from and the prices were ridiculous, but it IS Disney...so that's how I justified that. Second, our server was extremely enthusiastic...almost annoyingly so. He seemed "fake" if that even makes sense. His level of enthusiasm was a little too much and I felt rushed to order. He kept coming back to the table every two minutes. Lastly, the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the price. I ordered their shrimp cooked in coconut milk and served with rice. There was very little flavor and the virtually no color on my plate. It was brown, bland mush. I was very disappointed.

This is a definite treasure off the beaten path! Frequented most often by DVC members staying there at Old Key West or Cast Members on business meetings, the atmosphere in the restaurant is one of relaxation and ease. The decor literally transports you south and boasts a friendly staff to boot. I've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch at this establishment and left with a smile on my face each time. For breakfast, it was a delightfully sweet and indulgent Banana Bread French Toast, topped with real Bahamian Rum Butter Sauce, and for lunch, a Blackened Tuna Sandwich that literally melted in my mouth! Olivia's also serves dinner, which I will eventually try one day, and I am sure is just as wonderful, but as I said before, if you're looking for something tasty and stress-free during your Disney vacation (and we all know, anywhere you can find a break from the chaos is definitely worth its weight in gold!) try Olivia's!

Lousy! Table of eight, some got crab cakes I got the prime rib! Bland an no flavor. I can do much better in my kitchen! For the price go somewhere else or you won't get you money's worth. cinch fritters need more conch not breaking, prime rib should be seasoned before and after cooking. Don't used frozen vegetables! You see where this is going.

Veggie sandwich had dry top bun and watery bottom bun. We're on the dining plan and they wouldn't give us a side and the only bottled drink we could have is water. Burgers were decent, but did not come with fries and had to be ordered seperately. Our first and last time here.

The first and only time I dined at Olivia's Cafe was just under three years ago in June of 2005. So you can look at my review under the light of, "she hasn't been there recently", but it also makes me say this: I don't really remember much about it. Whereas you go to a place like the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort, or to Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, and you will probably remember it no matter how long it had been because they are such solid restaurants with strong themes. That's why I give Olivia's a 3-star rating. I believe I had a sandwich there, and it wasn't bad or I'd remember it. I'm going to assume it was decently good. I do remember having the key lime tart for dessert, though, and it was not so pleasant: the tart had a strange cheesy aftertaste. It was like having barely sweetened key lime cheesecake. Two things I normally love separately, but did not like the taste of together, if indeed that's what it actually was. Another one of the people in my part thought similarly of that tart. I'm going to assume the staff was up to Disney standards, and the decor was nice enough, especially seeing as it's a Disney Vacation Club resort, and those are among the top of the tier. But otherwise, unremarkable. I'd give it another try if I happen to be at Walt Disney World with nowhere better to go.

Get the shrimp and grits! We live in the Carolinas and the shrimp and grits at Olivia's were as great as I've had anywhere - if not better! We had to hold back from licking the plate:) The other dishes at out table - scallops and fried chicken were excellent also. Dessert was delicious - the best we had in Disney (except the flourless chocolate cake, which isn't my thing). I'm only giving four stars vs five because the food came out slower than other table service meals we experienced. But, our server was very friendly, as were all other cast members we encountered. We loved the feel of Olivia's, so waiting a little longer on the food wasn't a huge deal, but it should be noted. The restaurant is pretty small and feels very familiar and welcoming. Nice gift shop with the nicest staff we encountered at Disney. The resort itself is quite charming also. This place is def worth a try.

I've eaten here on almost every Disney World vacation since the restaurant opened about 20 years ago. The food is consistently very good and so are the servers. They serve some terrific pineapple/coconut bread with dinner (I say this and I don't even like coconut!) but if you're there at lunch they'll give you bread service if you request it. If you're staying at Old Key West or have a way to get here easily (how about a nice boat ride from Downtown Disney?) then this is a great find and you won't have to worry about reservations or long waits either.

Let me start out by saying that Olivia's Cafe, does not stop service. Lunch into dinner is a continual service time, which is great for those of us who forget to eat until 3:30 when all the other restaurants are closing for dinner prep. It is usually pretty quiet in there, an occasional large rowdy party will come in, but then they are generally seated in a back room that is almost enclosed, so you hardly hear them. It is always clean, the servers and hosts are always pleasant, and you never feel rushed, although like I said, by the time I'm eating it's likely they haven't seen a soul in the last hour, so it might be nice to do something. Now for the fun part - drinks!! I don't know if it is a restaurant exclusive, but they have delicious mango iced-tea, it's unsweetened, but you really don't need a sweetener in it, it is so good. It doesn't taste all chemically like many flavored Iced teas which I really genuinely appreciate. For those of you who enjoy a cocktail or a beer with your lunch (or need to unwind after an afternoon with screaming children), they also have a full bar, hoo-ray. Now while it is a Disney bar and their shots are measured, the drinks taste so darn good anyways, it doesn't matter if you're not lit after one drink. And now the best part -the food. At first you may look at the menu and think, "oh this is nothing special, shrimp and grits, meatloaf, salad, blah" what you're missing is in the details. I bring family members to this restaurant every time they visit and not one person has said that their food has been anything less than spectacular. I love the Cobb Salad, although beware, it's enormous. But it's also not super expensive! In that case you are definitely getting a lot of bang for your buck, and truly, it's like that with most of the entrees. I have been flip-flopping back and forth between shrimp and grits and the scallops with polenta, they're both delightful. Everything is always cooked to perfection, and the flavors divine. Both of those dishes can be a little spicy though, so be aware, if you're sensitive. The fried chicken is also a family favorite. I know you're thinking "why pay so much for fried chicken when I can get it at kfc for so much less?" The answer is, God made this chicken. I mean, I don't know if he actually cooked it in its delicious buttermilk batter, but I'm going out on a limb and saying He willed it this way. On top of all that, they serve bread prior to your entrée service, that is unreal. It's a coconut pineapple bread that taste like the islands melted in your mouth. I have and uncle that ordered his own loaf so he could have it all to himself. In addition to all of the wonderful things I've already said, I'd like to reiterate that the prices here are some of the best you'll see on property. Now I'm not saying it's like eating at McDonalds, but for theme park/hotel dining, it's pretty darn reasonable. The final wonderfully positive thing I have to say is about Karen. Karen has been my server, mmm, I would say 90% of the time I go, and she is always a delight. She is always very friendly, doesn't hover over you, but is there when you need anything, even if it's just an anecdote for the day. Yay Karen! The only semi-negative thing I have to say about Olivia's is that their dessert menu doesn't stand up to their app/entrée menu. I'm not a super huge dessert fan much, anyways, so I don't feel like my comments here deplete from the overall score I gave for the restaurant. It does seem like the desserts are just kind of eh, after everything else, although if you have room to eat dessert after everything else, you must have a bottomless pit for a stomach! All in all, one of my favorite places to go, even during the busy season

My parents' flight arrived 3 hours later than mine, and I had already checked into the room and dropped my bags off. I met my brother at the lobby and we decided to look for a quick bite to eat. There's really no quick service option at Old Key West (just a stand you can order from), so we said we'd head over to Olivia's Cafe since it's one of the restaurants on property we haven't tried yet. It was about 1:30 when we got there, and there were about 8 parties seated. We were able to grab a table really fast for lunch. We sat down and ordered our drinks and then looked at the menu. My brother is allergic to seafood, so it was nice that they had different options. He ended up ordering the BBQ chicken sandwich topped with grilled pineapple salsa and a side of french fries. I tasted some of it and I really liked it. It was about $16, which is fairly standard for Disney. I ordered the Island BBQ pork ribs served with french fries and coleslaw. This was $21, and in all honestly, felt like something I could get at FlameTree BBQ in Animal Kingdom for cheaper. I was torn between a couple of dishes, but figured my brother would eat the rest if I couldn't finish my entree since he loves Disney's ribs. My meal was fine, but after looking through several pictures on Instagram (thanks to the location tag!), I wish I had ordered the shrimp and grits. They looked delicious, but sadly I won't know. :( We also ordered the onion rings which came out with key lime mustard and mango ketchup. The mango ketchup sounds amazing, but failed to please. The key lime mustard on the other hand was a nice surprise. It was tangy yet sweet. The perfect balance. I dipped my french fries in this concoction as well! The service was okay, but nothing compared what I'm used to on property. She did her job, and that was that. The food runner was much nicer, chatting us up while we devoured the onion rings. We skipped dessert and asked for the check. My brother has a discount (a pretty good one too since it's the holiday), and the check still came out to $42 - tip included. That's a bit of a stretch for lunch, considering the food quality is comparable to the quick service locations at other resorts/theme parks. My final verdict - this place is fine if you're super hungry and stuck at Old Key West. If you can wait, do it because there is much better food around WDW. Quick tips: Go here for lunch! The prices are cheaper and they have some of the same dishes they offer on the dinner menu!

I've been to OKW maybe six or seven times over the last 20 years as my parents bought DVC points when it first opened. Thank goodness they did as I love the place. I had always enjoyed Olivia's but thought it was trying to hard to be more of a medium to top end restaurant rather than what it should be; more of an everyday type place that you could go to a few times during your stay. I've always enjoyed the food and the service but thought it was too expensive for what it was. Well, the big bosses have obviously had similar thoughts and it looks like they have 'casualised' the menu. It looks like they've combined the lunch and dinner offerings so you now have the best of both worlds. On this latest visit I had the po'boy sandwich and my wife had the grilled chicken with rice and black beans. Both were very good indeed. The key lime pie was good. To me I don't think Olivia's is somewhere I'd go if i wasn't staying on-site but I'me certainly glad that we do.

Not a destination you would ever 'want' to eat at but will fill your stomach in a pinch. Breakfast is probably the best meal for this restaurant. Lunch being second best. Don't even think about dinner here unless you're desperate. Even desperate, you're better off calling Giordano's and having a pizza delivered. Yes, we made the mistake of having dinner here. We didn't know. Don't even bother trying to make this a special experience if you're stuck having dinner here. Just get a burger and a Coke and get out. Our steaks were cold and the wine was warm. The problem with the wine being their attached bar is open air to the pool area and not AC controlled so the red wine, kept outside of a cooler, is served whatever temperature it is outside. In this particular case, 88 degrees. Service was good and friendly. It's Disney. The decor and furniture had to have come from an abandoned Waffle House. Avoid unless you need breakfast.

Went here for a work gathering with 5 of my peers. Olivia's staff was accommodating in seating us an hour early, so that gains them points. Server was fairly friendly, so more points. Food was tasty, and served fairly accurately, more points. The noise level trumped everything good in this place and now they're in the negative in my book. Seriously, the noise level was so high that not only could you not hear your dining companion sitting right next to you, I don't even think the waiter could hear me ask for a refill of my coffee.... multiple times. This eatery has potential to be a great place to have a fairly quick, relaxed lunch. Until they can figure out some sound dampening, I can't go back. My aching head won't allow it. Actual food I had the mozzarella & tomato salad, and the fish of the day; red snapper. Salad was very nice, with large slices of a good quality cheese and perfectly ripened tomato. Fish was cooked perfectly with minimal seasoning so one could actually taste the fish and not just salt. I was able to get a side salad instead of the succotash. The house dressing is a citrus vinaigrette so beware if you don't like sweet dressings. This one was so sweet it tasted like dessert on lettuce!

Primo Prime Rib with red wine glace. Flourless chocolate cake with a side scoop of vanilla. Seating was fast and I have no idea how they got the food out so fast. 3 minutes after ordering the prime rib was on target medium well. Simply yummy!

Two lunches with coffee entree and dessert cost $73 with tip. Food was not gourmet but still good. For convenience I recommend Olivia but would eat elsewhere otherwise. Typical Disney food, okay, but terribly expensive. I am a big eater but still left hungry

My party of three ate breakfast at Olivia's one morning during our six-night stay at Old Key West. We would have eaten there more, because we loved everything about it, but we were spending too much time in the parks. Can't speak for the lunch and dinner menus, but I've heard good things. We were on the Disney Dining Plan, but paid menu prices for this breakfast because the rest of our table-service meals were accounted for with reservations at the parks. The prices were reasonable for our breakfast feast, and there was more variety in our options than I've seen in most Disney restaurants. I had the famous banana bread French toast, which was large and sweet and delicious. My family was satisfied with their omelet and pancakes. Our server was personal and friendly. What I loved most about Olivia's is what I love the most about Old Key West in general - it doesn't feel like a Disney restaurant or resort, but rather like a quaint vacation village during the off-season where everyone seems to know and like one another.

Good food, but man, we waited 25 minutes past opening time for them to actually open the doors. We were all standing in an orderly line, waiting rather impatiently, when a bunch of people just cut in line and demanded to be seated. Instead of seating all of us who were obviously waiting, they seated the loud mouths. Nice. Not. Food was really good--daily special of chicken fried chicken was tasty!!!

Salad and conch fritter were great. Had the pan seared scallops as an entre. Scallops were the same color as the polenta they were bedded on. Tomato vinaigrette tasted like just like tomato paste and asparagus was overdone. Scallops needed to be caramelized and rest of dish needed some flavor. Ended up licking the salt off my margarita to quell that seasoning need. Service was up to the Disney standard and they offered to get me a different entree which i declined.

Wish I had found this restaurant long ago! Very affordable (compared to other similar disney restaurants) I had the duval burger medium well! The rest of my party had steaks, chicken, and pulled pork! And that's another thing THE Choices are more abundant than other like restaurants. Also the chefs are willing to change the menu slightly for dietary preferences.

This was our second visit to Olivia's and I must say that the service left a lot to be desired. Two entrees were served and we waited and waited for the rest of our party to be served. Finally went to the hostess station to see if they could/would investigate but they seemed uninterested in helping. Luckily our server was on the way to our table with the missing entree... Not what you'd expect from Disney or at a restAurant that charges 15.00 for an 8 oz cheeseburger!

I personally have dinned here at least 10-12 times and I have never had a bad experience. Honestly I have never had a fantastic experience either so hence the 3 stars. The food is good and Disney priced (meaning alot more than it should be) but hey .... the mouse has to eat too right? Anyway its a very simple restaurant with a simple but good menu. Your not going to get bad service or bad food here. Just be prepared for quite the price tag.

PLEASE EAT HERE!!!!! We always stay at old key west and we used to over look Olivia's but one morning we forgot to purchase breakfast food so we had to eat somewhere and none of us wanted to go far from the resort. We ate here at Olivia's and it was amazing. I dont really like breakfast, so I just had scrambled eggs, but my mom enjoyed their banana french toast and LOVED it. We are staying here in May and we plan to finally try them for their dinner since we always do breakfast. The service is always great

I ate here on Saturday for lunch with my mother after having been up since 3:30 am to fly into Orlando. We were tired, we were starving and able to walk in for lunch while we awaited news on our room. We didn't order any special drinks but we both ordered the roast beef dip, hers plain, mine with no horse radish cream, both requests met with enthusiasm. The bread was fresh yet a little crunchy on the outside, which I love and the roast beef itself was tender, not at all chewy and absolutely delicious. I had the homemade potato chips which were awesome and my mother had the fries which were okay. We were both too stuffed for dessert but would return here again.

Can you say overly greasy to the point of being disgusted? Anyhow, we arrived Old Key West around dinner time and had a large group with us (a party of 14). So going anywhere else at WDW would be a major pain so we opted to eat at this lay back establishment. To my surprise, the place was almost at capacity. The hostess seated us about 15 minutes and we had a decent service team. I guess I had a great time conversing with the family and did not let my overcooked and super greasy pork chop bother me. Normally I would have it sent back.

So, despite the light crowd, unless you're staying at Old Key West, or driving around looking for a place to eat, its not very convenient. The atmosphere is nice, with a nautical diner/beach theme. Its not a bad place to try if you're in the area.

Post anniversary breakfast spot before we head back home from our Staycation. Nice place. We had about 10 minute wait. Not too bad. Small place. Not what I expected. But it is loud. Lots of kids here too. Sit down is always nice, but it comes with a price. I'm a poet and I didn't know it. Cafe Latte. Dang this was delicious. Andy was our server today. Not as friendly as we thought he would be. Just did his job and that was all. Not the usual Disney customer service that we expected. Olivia's breakfast. Two eggs any style, breakfast potatoes, buttermilk biscuits, and sausage. This was my order. Banana Bread French Toast - topped with Bahamian Banana Rum Butter Sauce, Coconut cream, and bacon. This was what @tarajroth ordered. Breakfast was great. Service was just okay and the noise level is a bit too much for me. Don't think we will be coming back.

Not just another hotel restaurant, this is one of our favorite restaurants on property. We will go out of our way to come here at least once during a vacation even if not staying at Old Key West. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Menus will vary over the year and it is nice to try something new every now and again. If available, the conch chowder is very good. Shrimp and scallops are delicious and creative. Meals are usually accompanied by a delicious coconut bread. Key Lime tart is always good for dessert but the topping is a brûlée of marshmallow and not the traditional meringue. Two thumbs up: service, food, atmosphere, variety

This place is pretty tasty! A-OK is definitely the rating that I give. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the food is delicious! Service - The waitress that we had was quite rude and rushed, but on that same note, she was very efficient. I had ordered chips with my meal, instead fries came out. Food - Now the food rocked it for me! I ordered a burger that had avocado, and grilled shrimp on it. Two of my most favorite things! How can you go wrong with that?!?! Overall, this is a nice place to go if you are in the area. Not worth it to go out of your way, but very delicious.

Tired? Hungry? Grab a snickers! If you don't have a snickers and you're at OKW, go to Olivia's Cafe. Why? Because their food is good. Despite what they say about it being "Disney's other best kept secret", it's not. The food is good, the service is good, but that's about the magnitude of it all. "Good" The first time I went here, it was during the Marathon weekend. They had a "Marathon special Pasta" which was tasty. Tasty and easy. It's location is Old Key West across from the main check in area and near the water front to take a water taxi. The ambiance is like a Carribean plantation house with the nice slow moving fans and the walls are covered with photos of DVC members who had eaten there. It's a very cozy feeling and just fun. Would I go back? Yes. Would I go every night? No. Would I go out of my way if I wasn't staying here? No. TL:DR - Good alternative to places if you don't want to leave the resort.

Thinking of a restaurant we haven't tried for one of our birthday dinners, we decided to try Olivia's in Old Key West. To start off, they brought out the bread which was very tasty. I ordered a Margarita and asked to minimize the ice...well, I should have known better...Disney has a policy to serve ice with a side of the drink...I call it a "rip-off". . Had the same experience in Cape May.... OK, now with the positive reviews, my friend had the ribs, which she thought was excellent, I had the scallops, another friend ordered shrimp over pasta and we all agreed the food was delicious if a bit pricey. It was my birthday so I was treated to a generous slice of chocolate cake topped with ice cream. The hostess and servers were very accommodating and the atmosphere relaxing.

If you're staying at Old Key West and you're too tired to wait for the shuttle bus to take you out to downtown disney for food or even too lazy to drive out to find food, Olivia's Cafe is a good option to go to. Food is just average. I had their Seafood Pasta and it was kind of bland. There weren't a lot of seafood either, but the dish itself is big enough to fill you up. They offer coconut pineapple bread and it was delicious. Warm fluffy bread with a touch of coconut and pineapple taste (bits of pineapples were in the bread too). Friendly service. But i think if you're in Disney's property, you're most likely going to get good service. I have yet to experience a bad time at any disney restaurant.

Those grits are so good!! Service was a little slow. I generally don't like waiting 7-8 minutes to be greeted once we sit down - especially when I need my coffee! The coffee here was not good. The shrimp and avocado omelet was delicious and we loved the grits. If they added a french press coffee to the menu we would definitely stop here every time we visit Disney.

After checking in, my family and I wanted to grab some food before heading to bed. The host and hostess were so kind and friendly and got us sat within minutes. They were able to accommodate my 9mo nephew and even gave him some stickers. Not only was the food delicious but during our meal, we were surprised by the staff with a certificate and balloons and honored as being "the family of the day" all thanks to my nephew. Thanks Jules! Definitely the right way to kick off one hell of an awesome vacation.

You either wade into the mass of people at the food court for mediocre food or you wait to dine at a park. On our final day, we went in search of a quiet breakfast place (yes, I know that "quiet" and "Disney" are a difficult, though not impossible combination) and Olivia's Cafe was the perfect answer. Olivia's is part of the Old Key West Resort at Walt Disney World, and it is part of the Disney Vacation Club. As a result, the resort is a relatively low-traffic spot. The downside is that, unless you have your own car while visiting WDW, you can't really get here without difficulty. The fact is is a smaller resort makes it the perfect spot to enjoy a good breakfast at a clean sit-down restaurant with excellent service. Our server was friendly, the food was good, and we loved dining outside to enjoy the nice Orlando weather. On our next visit to Disney World, Olivia's will be on our list for later in the trip when, for one breakfast, we want to avoid the masses and enjoy a nice, quiet start to our day. One BIG qualifier, however, is that while the patio is quiet, the interior of the restaurant is quite noisy--far too noisy, IMO--so if you're looking for the same quiet experience we had, don't visit on a day where you cannot sit outside.

We had such a nice dinner here on our trip to Disney. It isn't one of their signature restaurants, but if you're looking for a casual atmosphere with friendly service and good food, this is the place for you! We started off ordering an appetizer..the jerk chicken wings. Our server forgot to bring this out to us. She brought out our dinner: pot roast with mashed potatoes & green beans for me and the fennel dusted grouper on risotto for my husband. My pot roast was EXACTLY what I wanted. Pure comfort food, which I rarely order at a restaurant. It was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were buttery goodness. Now, the fact that our waitress forgot our appetizer could have made the experience sub-par. However, after we had our entrees on the table, she realized and she came and apologized for her mistake. She offered us a free dessert. Actually, she gave us TWO complimentary desserts: the key lime tart and the bread pudding. The key lime tart alone is reason enough to return to Olivia's...and we plan to.

The best thing about Olivia's is that you can probably make a last minute reservation, and it is small and less crowded than many Disney restaurants.. The food was good, and overpriced as expected. . Amazingly, all 3 of us ordered the Prime Rib. It was delivered quickly. It was tasty, with horseradish sauce, but the servings were sliced a little skimpy. The bread pudding dessert is full sized and good. The wait staff sung Happy Birthday to somebody every 5-10 minutes, yet service was very good and friendly. (We had that same "sweet waitress from Colombia") One of our party had an urgent phone call and left for a while just as her dinner arrived. The waitress was genuinely concerned about the phone call, and about the food getting cold. She offered to keep it warm in the kitchen.

Well I'm on vacation at Disney. Yes we are a vacation club family so we are here often. We are staying in OKW for the first time and decided to have dinner at Olivias. We arrived eay and were seated right away. Our waitress was from Columbia sweet girl. She was prepped with the special and soup of the day. I ordered the special buttermilk chicken fried with gravy and mash my wife ordered the balsamic, port wine glazed chicken and both were fantastic great Disney atmosphere but without the Disney price 3 of us for dinner with 20% tip was 60$ well worth it menu is limited but a decent deal.

We ate here for breakfast twice. Its not really meant to be a themed place, just somewhere at the resort to eat. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The chocolate mango french toast was a let down,but the traditional breakfasts and fresh baked muffins were nice. This resort does not do room service, even if you are on the Deluxe Dining plan. Also, breakfast stops at 10:30. Its really meant only for resort guests, but if you take the half hour boat ride from Downtown Disney you could make it for lunch (boats start operating at 11am). This was the only place in the park where they pointedly reminded us that tip was not included on the dining plan, which was very clear and seemed a bit unnecessary.

What threw me off and made this place lose 2 of its stars was the service that was provided to us. We had to wait 15+ minutes just to receive our drinks and another 20+ to receive our food, which is not bad timing, however we saw our server 2 times, when we put our order and to give us our checks. I know why she barely bothered with us, since gratuity was automatically added to our receipt, which was a really bad thing to do since they will get our money no matter how good or bad they are. Otherwise the food is spectacular!!!

Several good meals here this week - a great option when it's too much work to go to the parks! Loved the Cobb salad and the pot roast. Both dishes, though very different, reflected freshness and care. The bread here is delicious! Try the burger with shrimp if you are an adventurous eater. Crab cakes and onion rings were fairly standard fare. Staff was busy but friendly and responded well to friendly courtesy from us - but it's clear they deal with a lot of Grumpy and Cruella types here and they take it in stride.

Had lunch here with a friend and we really loved it! It's a smaller restaurant with seating outside, when we arrived it wasn't too busy and we had an ADR (so you may not need one visiting here). We experienced a small problem with parking and ended up parking near the cottages on the other side of the road. There isn't much to walk around and see here (unlike Boardwalk or the Magic Kingdom resorts), so we basically ate and then headed out... But the food was really great! We ordered the crab cakes and conch fritters for appetizers, they were both fantastic and tasted very fresh. I had a chicken caesar salad, it was good - just a normal salad, and my friend had the shrimp & grits, she loved it. Our server (Shana, I want to say?) was absolutely wonderful, very attentive and kept us laughing until we left. In fact, even the hosts were very friendly. Great restaurant all around.

Olivia's is one of our odd go-to places around Disney. We've been able to get group seating here, last minute, on more than one dinner occasion, and with a nicely varied menu and full bar, we're generally able to satisfy everyone in the party. It's not too far off the beaten path -- Old Key West is easy to get to, and Olivia's is right near the resort's gate -- with ample parking, to boot. I don't think I've had a single menu item here over the years that I didn't enjoy. It's good, family-friendly fare.

Let me start out by saying that Olivia's Cafe, does not stop service. Lunch into dinner is a continual service time, which is great for those of us who forget to eat until 3:30 when all the other restaurants are closing for dinner prep. It is usually pretty quiet in there, an occasional large rowdy party will come in, but then they are generally seated in a back room that is almost enclosed, so you hardly hear them. It is always clean, the servers and hosts are always pleasant, and you never feel rushed, although like I said, by the time I'm eating it's likely they haven't seen a soul in the last hour, so it might be nice to do something. Now for the fun part - drinks!! I don't know if it is a restaurant exclusive, but they have delicious mango iced-tea, it's unsweetened, but you really don't need a sweetener in it, it is so good. It doesn't taste all chemically like many flavored Iced teas which I really genuinely appreciate. For those of you who enjoy a cocktail or a beer with your lunch (or need to unwind after an afternoon with screaming children), they also have a full bar, hoo-ray. Now while it is a Disney bar and their shots are measured, the drinks taste so darn good anyways, it doesn't matter if you're not lit after one drink. And now the best part -the food. At first you may look at the menu and think, "oh this is nothing special, shrimp and grits, meatloaf, salad, blah" what you're missing is in the details. I bring family members to this restaurant every time they visit and not one person has said that their food has been anything less than spectacular. I love the Cobb Salad, although beware, it's enormous. But it's also not super expensive! In that case you are definitely getting a lot of bang for your buck, and truly, it's like that with most of the entrees. I have been flip-flopping back and forth between shrimp and grits and the scallops with polenta, they're both delightful. Everything is always cooked to perfection, and the flavors divine. Both of those dishes can be a little spicy though, so be aware, if you're sensitive. The fried chicken is also a family favorite. I know you're thinking "why pay so much for fried chicken when I can get it at kfc for so much less?" The answer is, God made this chicken. I mean, I don't know if he actually cooked it in its delicious buttermilk batter, but I'm going out on a limb and saying He willed it this way. On top of all that, they serve bread prior to your entrée service, that is unreal. It's a coconut pineapple bread that taste like the islands melted in your mouth. I have and uncle that ordered his own loaf so he could have it all to himself. In addition to all of the wonderful things I've already said, I'd like to reiterate that the prices here are some of the best you'll see on property. Now I'm not saying it's like eating at McDonalds, but for theme park/hotel dining, it's pretty darn reasonable. The final wonderfully positive thing I have to say is about Karen. Karen has been my server, mmm, I would say 90% of the time I go, and she is always a delight. She is always very friendly, doesn't hover over you, but is there when you need anything, even if it's just an anecdote for the day. Yay Karen! The only semi-negative thing I have to say about Olivia's is that their dessert menu doesn't stand up to their app/entrée menu. I'm not a super huge dessert fan much, anyways, so I don't feel like my comments here deplete from the overall score I gave for the restaurant. It does seem like the desserts are just kind of eh, after everything else, although if you have room to eat dessert after everything else, you must have a bottomless pit for a stomach! All in all, one of my favorite places to go, even during the busy season

Two eggs any style, breakfast potatoes, buttermilk biscuits, and sausage. This was my order. Banana Bread French Toast - topped with Bahamian Banana Rum Butter Sauce, Coconut cream, and bacon. This was what @tarajroth ordered. Breakfast was great. Service was just okay and the noise level is a bit too much for me. Don't think we will be coming back.

Get the shrimp and grits! We live in the Carolinas and the shrimp and grits at Olivia's were as great as I've had anywhere - if not better! We had to hold back from licking the plate:) The other dishes at out table - scallops and fried chicken were excellent also. Dessert was delicious - the best we had in Disney (except the flourless chocolate cake, which isn't my thing). I'm only giving four stars vs five because the food came out slower than other table service meals we experienced. But, our server was very friendly, as were all other cast members we encountered. We loved the feel of Olivia's, so waiting a little longer on the food wasn't a huge deal, but it should be noted. The restaurant is pretty small and feels very familiar and welcoming. Nice gift shop with the nicest staff we encountered at Disney. The resort itself is quite charming also. This place is def worth a try.

Not a destination you would ever 'want' to eat at but will fill your stomach in a pinch. Breakfast is probably the best meal for this restaurant. Lunch being second best. Don't even think about dinner here unless you're desperate. Even desperate, you're better off calling Giordano's and having a pizza delivered. Yes, we made the mistake of having dinner here. We didn't know. Don't even bother trying to make this a special experience if you're stuck having dinner here. Just get a burger and a Coke and get out. Our steaks were cold and the wine was warm. The problem with the wine being their attached bar is open air to the pool area and not AC controlled so the red wine, kept outside of a cooler, is served whatever temperature it is outside. In this particular case, 88 degrees. Service was good and friendly. It's Disney. The decor and furniture had to have come from an abandoned Waffle House. Avoid unless you need breakfast.

The food is good and Disney priced (meaning alot more than it should be) but hey .... the mouse has to eat too right? Anyway its a very simple restaurant with a simple but good menu. Your not going to get bad service or bad food here. Just be prepared for quite the price tag.

Went here for a work gathering with 5 of my peers. Olivia's staff was accommodating in seating us an hour early, so that gains them points. Server was fairly friendly, so more points. Food was tasty, and served fairly accurately, more points. The noise level trumped everything good in this place and now they're in the negative in my book. Seriously, the noise level was so high that not only could you not hear your dining companion sitting right next to you, I don't even think the waiter could hear me ask for a refill of my coffee.... multiple times. This eatery has potential to be a great place to have a fairly quick, relaxed lunch. Until they can figure out some sound dampening, I can't go back. My aching head won't allow it. Actual food I had the mozzarella & tomato salad, and the fish of the day; red snapper. Salad was very nice, with large slices of a good quality cheese and perfectly ripened tomato. Fish was cooked perfectly with minimal seasoning so one could actually taste the fish and not just salt. I was able to get a side salad instead of the succotash. The house dressing is a citrus vinaigrette so beware if you don't like sweet dressings. This one was so sweet it tasted like dessert on lettuce!

I've eaten here on almost every Disney World vacation since the restaurant opened about 20 years ago. The food is consistently very good and so are the servers. They serve some terrific pineapple/coconut bread with dinner (I say this and I don't even like coconut!) but if you're there at lunch they'll give you bread service if you request it. If you're staying at Old Key West or have a way to get here easily (how about a nice boat ride from Downtown Disney?) then this is a great find and you won't have to worry about reservations or long waits either.

My parents' flight arrived 3 hours later than mine, and I had already checked into the room and dropped my bags off. I met my brother at the lobby and we decided to look for a quick bite to eat. There's really no quick service option at Old Key West (just a stand you can order from), so we said we'd head over to Olivia's Cafe since it's one of the restaurants on property we haven't tried yet. It was about 1:30 when we got there, and there were about 8 parties seated. We were able to grab a table really fast for lunch. We sat down and ordered our drinks and then looked at the menu. My brother is allergic to seafood, so it was nice that they had different options. He ended up ordering the BBQ chicken sandwich topped with grilled pineapple salsa and a side of french fries. I tasted some of it and I really liked it. It was about $16, which is fairly standard for Disney. I ordered the Island BBQ pork ribs served with french fries and coleslaw. This was $21, and in all honestly, felt like something I could get at FlameTree BBQ in Animal Kingdom for cheaper. I was torn between a couple of dishes, but figured my brother would eat the rest if I couldn't finish my entree since he loves Disney's ribs. My meal was fine, but after looking through several pictures on Instagram (thanks to the location tag!), I wish I had ordered the shrimp and grits. They looked delicious, but sadly I won't know. :( We also ordered the onion rings which came out with key lime mustard and mango ketchup. The mango ketchup sounds amazing, but failed to please. The key lime mustard on the other hand was a nice surprise. It was tangy yet sweet. The perfect balance. I dipped my french fries in this concoction as well! The service was okay, but nothing compared what I'm used to on property. She did her job, and that was that. The food runner was much nicer, chatting us up while we devoured the onion rings. We skipped dessert and asked for the check. My brother has a discount (a pretty good one too since it's the holiday), and the check still came out to $42 - tip included. That's a bit of a stretch for lunch, considering the food quality is comparable to the quick service locations at other resorts/theme parks. My final verdict - this place is fine if you're super hungry and stuck at Old Key West. If you can wait, do it because there is much better food around WDW. Quick tips: Go here for lunch! The prices are cheaper and they have some of the same dishes they offer on the dinner menu!

I've been to OKW maybe six or seven times over the last 20 years as my parents bought DVC points when it first opened. Thank goodness they did as I love the place. I had always enjoyed Olivia's but thought it was trying to hard to be more of a medium to top end restaurant rather than what it should be; more of an everyday type place that you could go to a few times during your stay. I've always enjoyed the food and the service but thought it was too expensive for what it was. Well, the big bosses have obviously had similar thoughts and it looks like they have 'casualised' the menu. It looks like they've combined the lunch and dinner offerings so you now have the best of both worlds. On this latest visit I had the po'boy sandwich and my wife had the grilled chicken with rice and black beans. Both were very good indeed. The key lime pie was good. To me I don't think Olivia's is somewhere I'd go if i wasn't staying on-site but I'me certainly glad that we do.

My party of three ate breakfast at Olivia's one morning during our six-night stay at Old Key West. We would have eaten there more, because we loved everything about it, but we were spending too much time in the parks. Can't speak for the lunch and dinner menus, but I've heard good things. We were on the Disney Dining Plan, but paid menu prices for this breakfast because the rest of our table-service meals were accounted for with reservations at the parks. The prices were reasonable for our breakfast feast, and there was more variety in our options than I've seen in most Disney restaurants. I had the famous banana bread French toast, which was large and sweet and delicious. My family was satisfied with their omelet and pancakes. Our server was personal and friendly. What I loved most about Olivia's is what I love the most about Old Key West in general - it doesn't feel like a Disney restaurant or resort, but rather like a quaint vacation village during the off-season where everyone seems to know and like one another.

Salad and conch fritter were great. Had the pan seared scallops as an entre. Scallops were the same color as the polenta they were bedded on. Tomato vinaigrette tasted like just like tomato paste and asparagus was overdone. Scallops needed to be caramelized and rest of dish needed some flavor. I had high hopes for this place. Many people recommended it and I was so excited to try it. I finally made it that way and went for lunch with family. Firstly, the menu was very small. There wasn't much to chose from and the prices were ridiculous, but it IS Disney...so that's how I justified that. Second, our server was extremely enthusiastic...almost annoyingly so. He seemed "fake" if that even makes sense. His level of enthusiasm was a little too much and I felt rushed to order. He kept coming back to the table every two minutes. Lastly, the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the price. I ordered their shrimp cooked in coconut milk and served with rice. There was very little flavor and the virtually no color on my plate. It was brown, bland mush. I was very disappointed.

I was do excited to try this restaurant. I must admit it was a disappointment. The atmosphere is great. The decor is perfect. I'm a lady so of course I checked out the restrooms. They were clean and perfectly themed. The service was good. We came at 1 p.m. After the lunch rush so there were only 3 tables. We ordered the crab cakes. They were a bit bland. The sauce was tasty. The Cobb salad is good. The dressing again was a non event. The salad was better without the dressing. We also had the shrimp po boy. It was not good. Greasy and bland. We did not finish it. So for the salad, crab cake appetizer, shrimp sandwich and a glass of tea a little over $50.

We have been here a number of times but finally getting to review. This is one of the better kept secrets of disney world. The food is very good, and a number of items that are comfort foods, service always spot on, and atmosphere is good for the family without cramming Disney down your throat. We had the buttermilk fried chicken, and pork chop. Both were well cooked, well seasoned, and hot. After 4 nights on the Disney Dream Cruise ship, the family agreed that this was the best meal we hAd all week. It is rarely crowded, but get a reservation. Well worth the drive, walk, bus ride to old key west. We don't love the resort itself, but do love Olivia's.

I visited the Old Key West Resort last weekend with friends and made a reservation at Olivia's Cafe for lunch. It has a beachy atmosphere with lots of nautical influence and faux trophy fish on the walls. We seemed to beat the rush, as there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. Our server was very enthusiastic and took our drink orders immediately. For my meal, I ordered the plain roast beef dip with provolone and a side of fries. I thought it was very tastey, but overpriced. I suppose this is to be expected anywhere in Disney though. The roast beef was tender and the au jus was flavorful. I was also able to try a bite of the Southernmost buttermilk chicken meal, which I thought was good and the portion was a little closer to the price point. The meal was decent but I would certainly expect a little more for the cost.

Yum! This little gem is located at Disney's Key West resort, which we learned is modeled after a restaurant in Key West. My friend choose this spot because we decided we wanted mimosas with breakfast. We were not disappointed. We each had a mimosa, she ordered the banana bread French toast, and I ordered the eggs Benedict florentine, which had a key lime hollandaise sauce. Everything tasted great, and we enjoyed our meal in the relaxing, laid back atmosphere. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and helpful. If I am back on this side of town again, I will definitely come back. The key lime hollandaise sauce is definitely worth a trip across town!

Oh Disney, how you charge a premium for your restaurants. Some of them are deserving, while others are definitely not. Olivia's Cafe, tucked away in the Old Key West Resort falls somewhere in the middle. While the food was very good, I cannot honestly say that I haven't had better for a more reasonable price. For an appetizer, my fiancee' and I split an order of the Conch Fritters. The fritters themselves were pretty standard but the remoulade that came with the order made them pretty darn good. Its a shame that conch is just getting that much harder to come by as it makes for some very delicious eating. My main course was the Plantation Key Pork Chop. I asked for the pork chop to be as rare as possible (what can I say, I like to live dangerously). Now, this could have been the flaw of the size of the pork chop, since it was so thick of a cut, but it ended up coming out at probably medium most of the way through and only medium rare as it got closer to the bone. The flavor was good but the seasoning was barely noticeable. Overall, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good. I doubt I would go back, though; simply due to the overall price of the meal.

Not just another hotel restaurant, this is one of our favorite restaurants on property. We will go out of our way to come here at least once during a vacation even if not staying at Old Key West. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Menus will vary over the year and it is nice to try something new every now and again. If available, the conch chowder is very good. Shrimp and scallops are delicious and creative. Meals are usually accompanied by a delicious coconut bread. Key Lime tart is always good for dessert but the topping is a brûlée of marshmallow and not the traditional meringue. Two thumbs up: service, food, atmosphere, variety

This place is pretty tasty! A-OK is definitely the rating that I give. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the food is delicious! Service - The waitress that we had was quite rude and rushed, but on that same note, she was very efficient. I had ordered chips with my meal, instead fries came out. Food - Now the food rocked it for me! I ordered a burger that had avocado, and grilled shrimp on it. Two of my most favorite things! How can you go wrong with that?!?! Overall, this is a nice place to go if you are in the area. Not worth it to go out of your way, but very delicious.

Tired? Hungry? Grab a snickers! If you don't have a snickers and you're at OKW, go to Olivia's Cafe. Why? Because their food is good. Despite what they say about it being "Disney's other best kept secret", it's not. The food is good, the service is good, but that's about the magnitude of it all. "Good" The first time I went here, it was during the Marathon weekend. They had a "Marathon special Pasta" which was tasty. Tasty and easy. It's location is Old Key West across from the main check in area and near the water front to take a water taxi. The ambiance is like a Carribean plantation house with the nice slow moving fans and the walls are covered with photos of DVC members who had eaten there. It's a very cozy feeling and just fun. Would I go back? Yes. Would I go every night? No. Would I go out of my way if I wasn't staying here? No. TL:DR - Good alternative to places if you don't want to leave the resort.

Thinking of a restaurant we haven't tried for one of our birthday dinners, we decided to try Olivia's in Old Key West. To start off, they brought out the bread which was very tasty. I ordered a Margarita and asked to minimize the ice...well, I should have known better...Disney has a policy to serve ice with a side of the drink...I call it a "rip-off". . Had the same experience in Cape May.... OK, now with the positive reviews, my friend had the ribs, which she thought was excellent, I had the scallops, another friend ordered shrimp over pasta and we all agreed the food was delicious if a bit pricey. It was my birthday so I was treated to a generous slice of chocolate cake topped with ice cream. The hostess and servers were very accommodating and the atmosphere relaxing.

I ate here on Saturday for lunch with my mother after having been up since 3:30 am to fly into Orlando. We were tired, we were starving and able to walk in for lunch while we awaited news on our room. We didn't order any special drinks but we both ordered the roast beef dip, hers plain, mine with no horse radish cream, both requests met with enthusiasm. The bread was fresh yet a little crunchy on the outside, which I love and the roast beef itself was tender, not at all chewy and absolutely delicious. I had the homemade potato chips which were awesome and my mother had the fries which were okay. We were both too stuffed for dessert but would return here again.

Meant to go here for breakfast per the reviews but made it for lunch - the food was fine overpriced but that is expected. They take the disney dining plan so it was busy. I was paying cash and would not return. Again the food was fine but nothing you couldn't get at Applebee's for the same quality but cheaper. We had two servers a male who was really good Jeffery maybe and a female who was terrible. Forgot the lemons for the iced tea after repeatedly asking, drinks went unfilled unless Jeffery noticed they were empty, the food took a while to come out and then neither server checked back to see if the food was ok or if we needed anything. Empty glasses and plates were left on the table to the point of me having to push plates aside to have room to sign the bill. The female server literally stood by and watched me push plates over to have room to sign for her tip. The cook/chef kept coming out from the kitchen to check on a certain table , don't know why, maybe that explained the delay in service for the rest of the patrons.

If you're staying at Old Key West and you're too tired to wait for the shuttle bus to take you out to downtown disney for food or even too lazy to drive out to find food, Olivia's Cafe is a good option to go to. Food is just average. I had their Seafood Pasta and it was kind of bland. There weren't a lot of seafood either, but the dish itself is big enough to fill you up. They offer coconut pineapple bread and it was delicious. Warm fluffy bread with a touch of coconut and pineapple taste (bits of pineapples were in the bread too). Friendly service. But i think if you're in Disney's property, you're most likely going to get good service. I have yet to experience a bad time at any disney restaurant.

This is a definite treasure off the beaten path! Frequented most often by DVC members staying there at Old Key West or Cast Members on business meetings, the atmosphere in the restaurant is one of relaxation and ease. The decor literally transports you south and boasts a friendly staff to boot. I've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch at this establishment and left with a smile on my face each time. For breakfast, it was a delightfully sweet and indulgent Banana Bread French Toast, topped with real Bahamian Rum Butter Sauce, and for lunch, a Blackened Tuna Sandwich that literally melted in my mouth! Olivia's also serves dinner, which I will eventually try one day, and I am sure is just as wonderful, but as I said before, if you're looking for something tasty and stress-free during your Disney vacation (and we all know, anywhere you can find a break from the chaos is definitely worth its weight in gold!) try Olivia's!

The first and only time I dined at Olivia's Cafe was just under three years ago in June of 2005. So you can look at my review under the light of, "she hasn't been there recently", but it also makes me say this: I don't really remember much about it. Whereas you go to a place like the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort, or to Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, and you will probably remember it no matter how long it had been because they are such solid restaurants with strong themes. That's why I give Olivia's a 3-star rating. I believe I had a sandwich there, and it wasn't bad or I'd remember it. I'm going to assume it was decently good. I do remember having the key lime tart for dessert, though, and it was not so pleasant: the tart had a strange cheesy aftertaste. It was like having barely sweetened key lime cheesecake. Two things I normally love separately, but did not like the taste of together, if indeed that's what it actually was. Another one of the people in my part thought similarly of that tart. I'm going to assume the staff was up to Disney standards, and the decor was nice enough, especially seeing as it's a Disney Vacation Club resort, and those are among the top of the tier. But otherwise, unremarkable. I'd give it another try if I happen to be at Walt Disney World with nowhere better to go.

We had such a nice dinner here on our trip to Disney. It isn't one of their signature restaurants, but if you're looking for a casual atmosphere with friendly service and good food, this is the place for you! We started off ordering an appetizer..the jerk chicken wings. Our server forgot to bring this out to us. She brought out our dinner: pot roast with mashed potatoes & green beans for me and the fennel dusted grouper on risotto for my husband. My pot roast was EXACTLY what I wanted. Pure comfort food, which I rarely order at a restaurant. It was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were buttery goodness. Now, the fact that our waitress forgot our appetizer could have made the experience sub-par. However, after we had our entrees on the table, she realized and she came and apologized for her mistake. She offered us a free dessert. Actually, she gave us TWO complimentary desserts: the key lime tart and the bread pudding. The key lime tart alone is reason enough to return to Olivia's...and we plan to.

The best thing about Olivia's is that you can probably make a last minute reservation, and it is small and less crowded than many Disney restaurants.. The food was good, and overpriced as expected. . Amazingly, all 3 of us ordered the Prime Rib. It was delivered quickly. It was tasty, with horseradish sauce, but the servings were sliced a little skimpy. The bread pudding dessert is full sized and good. The wait staff sung Happy Birthday to somebody every 5-10 minutes, yet service was very good and friendly. (We had that same "sweet waitress from Colombia") One of our party had an urgent phone call and left for a while just as her dinner arrived. The waitress was genuinely concerned about the phone call, and about the food getting cold. She offered to keep it warm in the kitchen.

Well I'm on vacation at Disney. Yes we are a vacation club family so we are here often. We are staying in OKW for the first time and decided to have dinner at Olivias. We arrived eay and were seated right away. Our waitress was from Columbia sweet girl. She was prepped with the special and soup of the day. I ordered the special buttermilk chicken fried with gravy and mash my wife ordered the balsamic, port wine glazed chicken and both were fantastic great Disney atmosphere but without the Disney price 3 of us for dinner with 20% tip was 60$ well worth it menu is limited but a decent deal.

We ate here for breakfast twice. Its not really meant to be a themed place, just somewhere at the resort to eat. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The chocolate mango french toast was a let down,but the traditional breakfasts and fresh baked muffins were nice. This resort does not do room service, even if you are on the Deluxe Dining plan. Also, breakfast stops at 10:30. Its really meant only for resort guests, but if you take the half hour boat ride from Downtown Disney you could make it for lunch (boats start operating at 11am). Excellent in terms of convenience (stayed at Old Key West) and loved that they had a special for marathon runners (a hearty pasta dish) on Marathon Weekend. Their coconut pineapple bread is super delicious, especially when warm (and I don't really like coconut). I had their shrimp and grits that was really rich and delicious. I couldn't stop eating it...but had to because, yeah, it was really rich. Felt sad when I stopped though. Service was friendly and welcoming.

Well I'm on vacation at Disney. Yes we are a vacation club family so we are here often. We are staying in OKW for the first time and decided to have dinner at Olivias. We arrived eay and were seated right away. Our waitress was from Columbia sweet girl. She was prepped with the special and soup of the day. I ordered the special buttermilk chicken fried with gravy and mash my wife ordered the balsamic, port wine glazed chicken and both were fantastic great Disney atmosphere but without the Disney price 3 of us for dinner with 20% tip was 60$ well worth it menu is limited but a decent deal.

We ate here for breakfast twice. Its not really meant to be a themed place, just somewhere at the resort to eat. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The chocolate mango french toast was a let down,but the traditional breakfasts and fresh baked muffins were nice. This resort does not do room service, even if you are on the Deluxe Dining plan. Also, breakfast stops at 10:30. Its really meant only for resort guests, but if you take the half hour boat ride from Downtown Disney you could make it for lunch (boats start operating at 11am). This was our second visit to Olivia's and I must say that the service left a lot to be desired. Two entrees were served and we waited and waited for the rest of our party to be served. Finally went to the hostess station to see if they could/would investigate but they seemed uninterested in helping. Luckily our server was on the way to our table with the missing entree... Not what you'd expect from Disney or at a restAurant that charges 15.00 for an 8 oz cheeseburger!

The food is good and Disney priced (meaning alot more than it should be) but hey .... the mouse has to eat too right? Anyway its a very simple restaurant with a simple but good menu. Your not going to get bad service or bad food here. Just be prepared for quite the price tag.

Oh Disney, how you charge a premium for your restaurants. Some of them are deserving, while others are definitely not. Olivia's Cafe, tucked away in the Old Key West Resort falls somewhere in the middle. While the food was very good, I cannot honestly say that I haven't had better for a more reasonable price. For an appetizer, my fiancee' and I split an order of the Conch Fritters. The fritters themselves were pretty standard but the remoulade that came with the order made them pretty darn good. Its a shame that conch is just getting that much harder to come by as it makes for some very delicious eating. My main course was the Plantation Key Pork Chop. I asked for the pork chop to be as rare as possible (what can I say, I like to live dangerously). Now, this could have been the flaw of the size of the pork chop, since it was so thick of a cut, but it ended up coming out at probably medium most of the way through and only medium rare as it got closer to the bone. The flavor was good but the seasoning was barely noticeable. Overall, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was pretty good. I doubt I would go back, though; simply due to the overall price of the meal.

Old Key West is an awesome environment but was not a huge fan of Olivia's. It may have just been what I ordered. I got a burger and it was as dry as a desert and I got it medium! Was not impressed but the Disney environment more than makes up for it. Our waiter was amazing and it made a huge difference in the enjoyment of the meal.

Yum! This little gem is located at Disney's Key West resort, which we learned is modeled after a restaurant in Key West. My friend choose this spot because we decided we wanted mimosas with breakfast. We were not disappointed. We each had a mimosa, she ordered the banana bread French toast, and I ordered the eggs Benedict florentine, which had a key lime hollandaise sauce. Everything tasted great, and we enjoyed our meal in the relaxing, laid back atmosphere. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and helpful. If I am back on this side of town again, I will definitely come back. The key lime hollandaise sauce is definitely worth a trip across town!

We always stay at old key west and we used to over look Olivia's but one morning we forgot to purchase breakfast food so we had to eat somewhere and none of us wanted to go far from the resort. We ate here at Olivia's and it was amazing. I dont really like breakfast, so I just had scrambled eggs, but my mom enjoyed their banana french toast and LOVED it. We are staying here in May and we plan to finally try them for their dinner since we always do breakfast. The service is always great

We have been here a number of times but finally getting to review. This is one of the better kept secrets of disney world. The food is very good, and a number of items that are comfort foods, service always spot on, and atmosphere is good for the family without cramming Disney down your throat. We had the buttermilk fried chicken, and pork chop. Both were well cooked, well seasoned, and hot. After 4 nights on the Disney Dream Cruise ship, the family agreed that this was the best meal we hAd all week. It is rarely crowded, but get a reservation. Well worth the drive, walk, bus ride to old key west. We don't love the resort itself, but do love Olivia's.

I visited the Old Key West Resort last weekend with friends and made a reservation at Olivia's Cafe for lunch. It has a beachy atmosphere with lots of nautical influence and faux trophy fish on the walls. We seemed to beat the rush, as there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. Our server was very enthusiastic and took our drink orders immediately. For my meal, I ordered the plain roast beef dip with provolone and a side of fries. I thought it was very tastey, but overpriced. I suppose this is to be expected anywhere in Disney though. The roast beef was tender and the au jus was flavorful. I was also able to try a bite of the Southernmost buttermilk chicken meal, which I thought was good and the portion was a little closer to the price point. The meal was decent but I would certainly expect a little more for the cost.

Had lunch here with a friend and we really loved it! It's a smaller restaurant with seating outside, when we arrived it wasn't too busy and we had an ADR (so you may not need one visiting here). We experienced a small problem with parking and ended up parking near the cottages on the other side of the road. There isn't much to walk around and see here (unlike Boardwalk or the Magic Kingdom resorts), so we basically ate and then headed out... But the food was really great! We ordered the crab cakes and conch fritters for appetizers, they were both fantastic and tasted very fresh. I had a chicken caesar salad, it was good - just a normal salad, and my friend had the shrimp & grits, she loved it. Our server (Shana, I want to say?) was absolutely wonderful, very attentive and kept us laughing until we left. In fact, even the hosts were very friendly. Great restaurant all around.

I had high hopes for this place. Many people recommended it and I was so excited to try it. I finally made it that way and went for lunch with family. Firstly, the menu was very small. There wasn't much to chose from and the prices were ridiculous, but it IS Disney...so that's how I justified that. Second, our server was extremely enthusiastic...almost annoyingly so. He seemed "fake" if that even makes sense. His level of enthusiasm was a little too much and I felt rushed to order. He kept coming back to the table every two minutes. Lastly, the food was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth the price. I ordered their shrimp cooked in coconut milk and served with rice. There was very little flavor and the virtually no color on my plate. It was brown, bland mush. I was very disappointed.

I was do excited to try this restaurant. I must admit it was a disappointment. The atmosphere is great. The decor is perfect. I'm a lady so of course I checked out the restrooms. They were clean and perfectly themed. The service was good. We came at 1 p.m. After the lunch rush so there were only 3 tables. We ordered the crab cakes. They were a bit bland. The sauce was tasty. The Cobb salad is good. The dressing again was a non event. The salad was better without the dressing. We also had the shrimp po boy. It was not good. Greasy and bland. We did not finish it. So for the salad, crab cake appetizer, shrimp sandwich and a glass of tea a little over $50.

Meant to go here for breakfast per the reviews but made it for lunch - the food was fine overpriced but that is expected. They take the disney dining plan so it was busy. I was paying cash and would not return. Again the food was fine but nothing you couldn't get at Applebee's for the same quality but cheaper. We had two servers a male who was really good Jeffery maybe and a female who was terrible. Forgot the lemons for the iced tea after repeatedly asking, drinks went unfilled unless Jeffery noticed they were empty, the food took a while to come out and then neither server checked back to see if the food was ok or if we needed anything. Empty glasses and plates were left on the table to the point of me having to push plates aside to have room to sign the bill. The female server literally stood by and watched me push plates over to have room to sign for her tip. The cook/chef kept coming out from the kitchen to check on a certain table , don't know why, maybe that explained the delay in service for the rest of the patrons.

What threw me off and made this place lose 2 of its stars was the service that was provided to us. We had to wait 15+ minutes just to receive our drinks and another 20+ to receive our food, which is not bad timing, however we saw our server 2 times, when we put our order and to give us our checks. I know why she barely bothered with us, since gratuity was automatically added to our receipt, which was a really bad thing to do since they will get our money no matter how good or bad they are. Otherwise the food is spectacular!!!

Several good meals here this week - a great option when it's too much work to go to the parks! Loved the Cobb salad and the pot roast. Both dishes, though very different, reflected freshness and care. The bread here is delicious! Try the burger with shrimp if you are an adventurous eater. Crab cakes and onion rings were fairly standard fare. Staff was busy but friendly and responded well to friendly courtesy from us - but it's clear they deal with a lot of Grumpy and Cruella types here and they take it in stride.

After checking in, my family and I wanted to grab some food before heading to bed. The host and hostess were so kind and friendly and got us sat within minutes. They were able to accommodate my 9mo nephew and even gave him some stickers. Not only was the food delicious but during our meal, we were surprised by the staff with a certificate and balloons and honored as being "the family of the day" all thanks to my nephew. Thanks Jules! Definitely the right way to kick off one hell of an awesome vacation.

Olivia's is one of our odd go-to places around Disney. We've been able to get group seating here, last minute, on more than one dinner occasion, and with a nicely varied menu and full bar, we're generally able to satisfy everyone in the party. It's not too far off the beaten path -- Old Key West is easy to get to, and Olivia's is right near the resort's gate -- with ample parking, to boot. I don't think I've had a single menu item here over the years that I didn't enjoy. It's good, family-friendly fare.

Not just another hotel restaurant, this is one of our favorite restaurants on property. We will go out of our way to come here at least once during a vacation even if not staying at Old Key West. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Menus will vary over the year and it is nice to try something new every now and again. If available, the conch chowder is very good. Shrimp and scallops are delicious and creative. Meals are usually accompanied by a delicious coconut bread. Key Lime tart is always good for dessert but the topping is a brûlée of marshmallow and not the traditional meringue. Two thumbs up: service, food, atmosphere, variety

This place is pretty tasty! A-OK is definitely the rating that I give. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the food is delicious! Service - The waitress that we had was quite rude and rushed, but on that same note, she was very efficient. I had ordered chips with my meal, instead fries came out. Food - Now the food rocked it for me! I ordered a burger that had avocado, and grilled shrimp on it. Two of my most favorite things! How can you go wrong with that?!?! Overall, this is a nice place to go if you are in the area. Not worth it to go out of your way, but very delicious.

Tired? Hungry? Grab a snickers! If you don't have a snickers and you're at OKW, go to Olivia's Cafe. Why? Because their food is good. Despite what they say about it being "Disney's other best kept secret", it's not. The food is good, the service is good, but that's about the magnitude of it all. "Good" The first time I went here, it was during the Marathon weekend. They had a "Marathon special Pasta" which was tasty. Tasty and easy. It's location is Old Key West across from the main check in area and near the water front to take a water taxi. The ambiance is like a Carribean plantation house with the nice slow moving fans and the walls are covered with photos of DVC members who had eaten there. It's a very cozy feeling and just fun. Would I go back? Yes. Would I go every night? No. Would I go out of my way if I wasn't staying here? No. TL:DR - Good alternative to places if you don't want to leave the resort.

If you're staying at Old Key West and you're too tired to wait for the shuttle bus to take you out to downtown disney for food or even too lazy to drive out to find food, Olivia's Cafe is a good option to go to. Food is just average. I had their Seafood Pasta and it was kind of bland. There weren't a lot of seafood either, but the dish itself is big enough to fill you up. They offer coconut pineapple bread and it was delicious. Warm fluffy bread with a touch of coconut and pineapple taste (bits of pineapples were in the bread too). Friendly service. But i think if you're in Disney's property, you're most likely going to get good service. I have yet to experience a bad time at any disney restaurant.

Those grits are so good!! Service was a little slow. I generally don't like waiting 7-8 minutes to be greeted once we sit down - especially when I need my coffee! The coffee here was not good. The shrimp and avocado omelet was delicious and we loved the grits. If they added a french press coffee to the menu we would definitely stop here every time we visit Disney.

My parents' flight arrived 3 hours later than mine, and I had already checked into the room and dropped my bags off. I met my brother at the lobby and we decided to look for a quick bite to eat. There's really no quick service option at Old Key West (just a stand you can order from), so we said we'd head over to Olivia's Cafe since it's one of the restaurants on property we haven't tried yet. It was about 1:30 when we got there, and there were about 8 parties seated. We were able to grab a table really fast for lunch. We sat down and ordered our drinks and then looked at the menu. My brother is allergic to seafood, so it was nice that they had different options. He ended up ordering the BBQ chicken sandwich topped with grilled pineapple salsa and a side of french fries. I tasted some of it and I really liked it. It was about $16, which is fairly standard for Disney. I ordered the Island BBQ pork ribs served with french fries and coleslaw. This was $21, and in all honestly, felt like something I could get at FlameTree BBQ in Animal Kingdom for cheaper. I was torn between a couple of dishes, but figured my brother would eat the rest if I couldn't finish my entree since he loves Disney's ribs. My meal was fine, but after looking through several pictures on Instagram (thanks to the location tag!), I wish I had ordered the shrimp and grits. They looked delicious, but sadly I won't know. :( We also ordered the onion rings which came out with key lime mustard and mango ketchup. The mango ketchup sounds amazing, but failed to please. The key lime mustard on the other hand was a nice surprise. It was tangy yet sweet. The perfect balance. I dipped my french fries in this concoction as well! The service was okay, but nothing compared what I'm used to on property. She did her job, and that was that. The food runner was much nicer, chatting us up while we devoured the onion rings. We skipped dessert and asked for the check. My brother has a discount (a pretty good one too since it's the holiday), and the check still came out to $42 - tip included. That's a bit of a stretch for lunch, considering the food quality is comparable to the quick service locations at other resorts/theme parks. My final verdict - this place is fine if you're super hungry and stuck at Old Key West. If you can wait, do it because there is much better food around WDW. Quick tips: Go here for lunch! The prices are cheaper and they have some of the same dishes they offer on the dinner menu!

I've been to OKW maybe six or seven times over the last 20 years as my parents bought DVC points when it first opened. Thank goodness they did as I love the place. I had always enjoyed Olivia's but thought it was trying to hard to be more of a medium to top end restaurant rather than what it should be; more of an everyday type place that you could go to a few times during your stay. I've always enjoyed the food and the service but thought it was too expensive for what it was. Well, the big bosses have obviously had similar thoughts and it looks like they have 'casualised' the menu. It looks like they've combined the lunch and dinner offerings so you now have the best of both worlds. On this latest visit I had the po'boy sandwich and my wife had the grilled chicken with rice and black beans. Both were very good indeed. The key lime pie was good. To me I don't think Olivia's is somewhere I'd go if i wasn't staying on-site but I'me certainly glad that we do.

The first and only time I dined at Olivia's Cafe was just under three years ago in June of 2005. So you can look at my review under the light of, "she hasn't been there recently", but it also makes me say this: I don't really remember much about it. Whereas you go to a place like the California Grill on top of the Contemporary Resort, or to Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, and you will probably remember it no matter how long it had been because they are such solid restaurants with strong themes. That's why I give Olivia's a 3-star rating. I believe I had a sandwich there, and it wasn't bad or I'd remember it. I'm going to assume it was decently good. I do remember having the key lime tart for dessert, though, and it was not so pleasant: the tart had a strange cheesy aftertaste. It was like having barely sweetened key lime cheesecake. Two things I normally love separately, but did not like the taste of together, if indeed that's what it actually was. Another one of the people in my part thought similarly of that tart. I'm going to assume the staff was up to Disney standards, and the decor was nice enough, especially seeing as it's a Disney Vacation Club resort, and those are among the top of the tier. But otherwise, unremarkable. I'd give it another try if I happen to be at Walt Disney World with nowhere better to go.

We had such a nice dinner here on our trip to Disney. It isn't one of their signature restaurants, but if you're looking for a casual atmosphere with friendly service and good food, this is the place for you! We started off ordering an appetizer..the jerk chicken wings. Our server forgot to bring this out to us. She brought out our dinner: pot roast with mashed potatoes & green beans for me and the fennel dusted grouper on risotto for my husband. My pot roast was EXACTLY what I wanted. Pure comfort food, which I rarely order at a restaurant. It was tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes were buttery goodness. Now, the fact that our waitress forgot our appetizer could have made the experience sub-par. However, after we had our entrees on the table, she realized and she came and apologized for her mistake. She offered us a free dessert. Actually, she gave us TWO complimentary desserts: the key lime tart and the bread pudding. The key lime tart alone is reason enough to return to Olivia's...and we plan to.

The best thing about Olivia's is that you can probably make a last minute reservation, and it is small and less crowded than many Disney restaurants.. The food was good, and overpriced as expected. . Amazingly, all 3 of us ordered the Prime Rib. It was delivered quickly. It was tasty, with horseradish sauce, but the servings were sliced a little skimpy. The bread pudding dessert is full sized and good. The wait staff sung Happy Birthday to somebody every 5-10 minutes, yet service was very good and friendly. (We had that same "sweet waitress from Colombia") One of our party had an urgent phone call and left for a while just as her dinner arrived. The waitress was genuinely concerned about the phone call, and about the food getting cold. She offered to keep it warm in the kitchen.

Disney's mid-priced resorts are very nice and we've found them a great value. The one downside is that dining options are a bit limited, particularly for breakfast. You either wade into the mass of people at the food court for mediocre food or you wait to dine at a park. On our final day, we went in search of a quiet breakfast place (yes, I know that "quiet" and "Disney" are a difficult, though not impossible combination) and Olivia's Cafe was the perfect answer. Olivia's is part of the Old Key West Resort at Walt Disney World, and it is part of the Disney Vacation Club. As a result, the resort is a relatively low-traffic spot. The downside is that, unless you have your own car while visiting WDW, you can't really get here without difficulty. The fact is is a smaller resort makes it the perfect spot to enjoy a good breakfast at a clean sit-down restaurant with excellent service. Our server was friendly, the food was good, and we loved dining outside to enjoy the nice Orlando weather. On our next visit to Disney World, Olivia's will be on our list for later in the trip when, for one breakfast, we want to avoid the masses and enjoy a nice, quiet start to our day. One BIG qualifier, however, is that while the patio is quiet, the interior of the restaurant is quite noisy--far too noisy, IMO--so if you're looking for the same quiet experience we had, don't visit on a day where you cannot sit outside.

I consider this to be one of the hidden gems at Walt Disney World in terms of restaurants and resorts! Old Key West is a family favorite and we got whenever we get the chance. The wait staff is always super friendly and the restaurant never seems to be THAT busy. This place is the best for breakfast - Olivia's breakfast potatoes have some sort of magical cheese or something. They are great. The rest of the menu is great - from the Cobb Salad to the Sea Scallops - there is something for everyone. Save room for dessert!

Can you say overly greasy to the point of being disgusted? Anyhow, we arrived Old Key West around dinner time and had a large group with us (a party of 14). So going anywhere else at WDW would be a major pain so we opted to eat at this lay back establishment. To my surprise, the place was almost at capacity. The hostess seated us about 15 minutes and we had a decent service team. I guess I had a great time conversing with the family and did not let my overcooked and super greasy pork chop bother me. Normally I would have it sent back.

Been here a couple times and each time the restaurant met expectations. Food is good as is the service. Its nothing spectacular, but fairly solid and consistent. Shrimp and grits were very good. The pot roast special was also pretty good. The restaurant is in the Old Key West resort which is part of the vacation club. For this reason, its not generally packed, like the places in or very close to the parks. For those of you unfamiliar with this location, it is basically in the middle of nowhere. So, despite the light crowd, unless you're staying at Old Key West, or driving around looking for a place to eat, its not very convenient. The atmosphere is nice, with a nautical diner/beach theme. Its not a bad place to try if you're in the area.

Post anniversary breakfast spot before we head back home from our Staycation. Nice place. We had about 10 minute wait. Not too bad. Small place. Not what I expected. But it is loud. Lots of kids here too. Sit down is always nice, but it comes with a price. I'm a poet and I didn't know it. Cafe Latte. Dang this was delicious. Andy was our server today. Not as friendly as we thought he would be. Just did his job and that was all. Not the usual Disney customer service that we expected. Olivia's breakfast. Two eggs any style, breakfast potatoes, buttermilk biscuits, and sausage. This was my order. Banana Bread French Toast - topped with Bahamian Banana Rum Butter Sauce, Coconut cream, and bacon. This was what @tarajroth ordered. Breakfast was great. Service was just okay and the noise level is a bit too much for me. Don't think we will be coming back.

Get the shrimp and grits! We live in the Carolinas and the shrimp and grits at Olivia's were as great as I've had anywhere - if not better! We had to hold back from licking the plate:) The other dishes at out table - scallops and fried chicken were excellent also. Dessert was delicious - the best we had in Disney (except the flourless chocolate cake, which isn't my thing). I'm only giving four stars vs five because the food came out slower than other table service meals we experienced. But, our server was very friendly, as were all other cast members we encountered. We loved the feel of Olivia's, so waiting a little longer on the food wasn't a huge deal, but it should be noted. The restaurant is pretty small and feels very familiar and welcoming. Nice gift shop with the nicest staff we encountered at Disney. The resort itself is quite charming also. This place is def worth a try.

Not a destination you would ever 'want' to eat at but will fill your stomach in a pinch. Breakfast is probably the best meal for this restaurant. Lunch being second best. Don't even think about dinner here unless you're desperate. Even desperate, you're better off calling Giordano's and having a pizza delivered. Yes, we made the mistake of having dinner here. We didn't know. Don't even bother trying to make this a special experience if you're stuck having dinner here. Just get a burger and a Coke and get out. Our steaks were cold and the wine was warm. The problem with the wine being their attached bar is open air to the pool area and not AC controlled so the red wine, kept outside of a cooler, is served whatever temperature it is outside. In this particular case, 88 degrees. Service was good and friendly. It's Disney. The decor and furniture had to have come from an abandoned Waffle House. Avoid unless you need breakfast.

Let me start out by saying that Olivia's Cafe, does not stop service. Lunch into dinner is a continual service time, which is great for those of us who forget to eat until 3:30 when all the other restaurants are closing for dinner prep. It is usually pretty quiet in there, an occasional large rowdy party will come in, but then they are generally seated in a back room that is almost enclosed, so you hardly hear them. It is always clean, the servers and hosts are always pleasant, and you never feel rushed, although like I said, by the time I'm eating it's likely they haven't seen a soul in the last hour, so it might be nice to do something. Now for the fun part - drinks!! I don't know if it is a restaurant exclusive, but they have delicious mango iced-tea, it's unsweetened, but you really don't need a sweetener in it, it is so good. It doesn't taste all chemically like many flavored Iced teas which I really genuinely appreciate. For those of you who enjoy a cocktail or a beer with your lunch (or need to unwind after an afternoon with screaming children), they also have a full bar, hoo-ray. Now while it is a Disney bar and their shots are measured, the drinks taste so darn good anyways, it doesn't matter if you're not lit after one drink. And now the best part -the food. At first you may look at the menu and think, "oh this is nothing special, shrimp and grits, meatloaf, salad, blah" what you're missing is in the details. I bring family members to this restaurant every time they visit and not one person has said that their food has been anything less than spectacular. I love the Cobb Salad, although beware, it's enormous. But it's also not super expensive! In that case you are definitely getting a lot of bang for your buck, and truly, it's like that with most of the entrees. I have been flip-flopping back and forth between shrimp and grits and the scallops with polenta, they're both delightful. Everything is always cooked to perfection, and the flavors divine. Both of those dishes can be a little spicy though, so be aware, if you're sensitive. The fried chicken is also a family favorite. I know you're thinking "why pay so much for fried chicken when I can get it at kfc for so much less?" The answer is, God made this chicken. I mean, I don't know if he actually cooked it in its delicious buttermilk batter, but I'm going out on a limb and saying He willed it this way. On top of all that, they serve bread prior to your entrée service, that is unreal. It's a coconut pineapple bread that taste like the islands melted in your mouth. I have and uncle that ordered his own loaf so he could have it all to himself. In addition to all of the wonderful things I've already said, I'd like to reiterate that the prices here are some of the best you'll see on property. Now I'm not saying it's like eating at McDonalds, but for theme park/hotel dining, it's pretty darn reasonable. The final wonderfully positive thing I have to say is about Karen. Karen has been my server, mmm, I would say 90% of the time I go, and she is always a delight. She is always very friendly, doesn't hover over you, but is there when you need anything, even if it's just an anecdote for the day. Yay Karen! The only semi-negative thing I have to say about Olivia's is that their dessert menu doesn't stand up to their app/entrée menu. I'm not a super huge dessert fan much, anyways, so I don't feel like my comments here deplete from the overall score I gave for the restaurant. It does seem like the desserts are just kind of eh, after everything else, although if you have room to eat dessert after everything else, you must have a bottomless pit for a stomach! All in all, one of my favorite places to go, even during the busy season

My party of three ate breakfast at Olivia's one morning during our six-night stay at Old Key West. We would have eaten there more, because we loved everything about it, but we were spending too much time in the parks. Can't speak for the lunch and dinner menus, but I've heard good things. We were on the Disney Dining Plan, but paid menu prices for this breakfast because the rest of our table-service meals were accounted for with reservations at the parks. The prices were reasonable for our breakfast feast, and there was more variety in our options than I've seen in most Disney restaurants. I had the famous banana bread French toast, which was large and sweet and delicious. My family was satisfied with their omelet and pancakes. Our server was personal and friendly. What I loved most about Olivia's is what I love the most about Old Key West in general - it doesn't feel like a Disney restaurant or resort, but rather like a quaint vacation village during the off-season where everyone seems to know and like one another.

Had breakfast here with the family. It is by far one of the best places to have breakfast on Walt Disney World property. The service was spectacular, we ate out on the patio and had a very nice view of the water front and bridge.

Went here for a work gathering with 5 of my peers. Olivia's staff was accommodating in seating us an hour early, so that gains them points. Server was fairly friendly, so more points. Food was tasty, and served fairly accurately, more points. The noise level trumped everything good in this place and now they're in the negative in my book. Seriously, the noise level was so high that not only could you not hear your dining companion sitting right next to you, I don't even think the waiter could hear me ask for a refill of my coffee.... multiple times. This eatery has potential to be a great place to have a fairly quick, relaxed lunch. Until they can figure out some sound dampening, I can't go back. My aching head won't allow it. Actual food I had the mozzarella & tomato salad, and the fish of the day; red snapper. Salad was very nice, with large slices of a good quality cheese and perfectly ripened tomato. Fish was cooked perfectly with minimal seasoning so one could actually taste the fish and not just salt. I was able to get a side salad instead of the succotash. The house dressing is a citrus vinaigrette so beware if you don't like sweet dressings. This one was so sweet it tasted like dessert on lettuce!

Primo Prime Rib with red wine glace. Flourless chocolate cake with a side scoop of vanilla. Seating was fast and I have no idea how they got the food out so fast. 3 minutes after ordering the prime rib was on target medium well. Simply yummy!

Two lunches with coffee entree and dessert cost $73 with tip. Food was not gourmet but still good. For convenience I recommend Olivia but would eat elsewhere otherwise. Typical Disney food, okay, but terribly expensive. I am a big eater but still left hungry

I've eaten here on almost every Disney World vacation since the restaurant opened about 20 years ago. The food is consistently very good and so are the servers. They serve some terrific pineapple/coconut bread with dinner (I say this and I don't even like coconut!) but if you're there at lunch they'll give you bread service if you request it. If you're staying at Old Key West or have a way to get here easily (how about a nice boat ride from Downtown Disney?) then this is a great find and you won't have to worry about reservations or long waits either.

Good food, but man, we waited 25 minutes past opening time for them to actually open the doors. We were all standing in an orderly line, waiting rather impatiently, when a bunch of people just cut in line and demanded to be seated. Instead of seating all of us who were obviously waiting, they seated the loud mouths. Nice. Not. Food was really good--daily special of chicken fried chicken was tasty!!!

Salad and conch fritter were great. Had the pan seared scallops as an entre. Scallops were the same color as the polenta they were bedded on. Tomato vinaigrette tasted like just like tomato paste and asparagus was overdone. Scallops needed to be caramelized and rest of dish needed some flavor. Ended up licking the salt off my margarita to quell that seasoning need. Service was up to the Disney standard and they offered to get me a different entree which i declined.

Wish I had found this restaurant long ago! Very affordable (compared to other similar disney restaurants) I had the duval burger medium well! The rest of my party had steaks, chicken, and pulled pork! And that's another thing THE Choices are more abundant than other like restaurants. Also the chefs are willing to change the menu slightly for dietary preferences.

Get the scallops! They are pan-seared and served on top of a creamy mascarpone cheese and asparagus. Delicious! Out of our 7 dining experiences on a recent Disney trip, this was by far our favorite!

This is a definite treasure off the beaten path! Frequented most often by DVC members staying there at Old Key West or Cast Members on business meetings, the atmosphere in the restaurant is one of relaxation and ease. The decor literally transports you south and boasts a friendly staff to boot. I've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch at this establishment and left with a smile on my face each time. For breakfast, it was a delightfully sweet and indulgent Banana Bread French Toast, topped with real Bahamian Rum Butter Sauce, and for lunch, a Blackened Tuna Sandwich that literally melted in my mouth! Olivia's also serves dinner, which I will eventually try one day, and I am sure is just as wonderful, but as I said before, if you're looking for something tasty and stress-free during your Disney vacation (and we all know, anywhere you can find a break from the chaos is definitely worth its weight in gold!) try Olivia's!

Lousy! Table of eight, some got crab cakes I got the prime rib! Bland an no flavor. I can do much better in my kitchen! For the price go somewhere else or you won't get you money's worth. cinch fritters need more conch not breaking, prime rib should be seasoned before and after cooking. Don't used frozen vegetables! You see where this is going.

Thinking of a restaurant we haven't tried for one of our birthday dinners, we decided to try Olivia's in Old Key West. To start off, they brought out the bread which was very tasty. I ordered a Margarita and asked to minimize the ice...well, I should have known better...Disney has a policy to serve ice with a side of the drink...I call it a "rip-off". . Had the same experience in Cape May.... OK, now with the positive reviews, my friend had the ribs, which she thought was excellent, I had the scallops, another friend ordered shrimp over pasta and we all agreed the food was delicious if a bit pricey. It was my birthday so I was treated to a generous slice of chocolate cake topped with ice cream. The hostess and servers were very accommodating and the atmosphere relaxing.
