Overwhelming at first, this is a delicious soup and salad buffet, with desserts and flatbreads. My suggestion having eaten here once is wait til you pay to decide what you want. We filled our plates with lettuce and pasta salads, paid and then turned the corner - seeing specialty cooked items, cheezy flatbreads, 8 home made soups, baked potatoes and sweet potatoes, and more. This location is fairly quiet after 7 pm, so perfect for quick and quiet nosh or a long term binge fest!

uuuugggghhhh - at least they have salad. The Villages is a black hole in terms of grabbing a healthy salad somewhere after the gym. I feel Sweet Tomatoes is akin to an unhealthy overweight person's version of a salad bar. There literally were only like 4 toppings that appealed to me unlike when I go to Whole Foods and want to take one of everything! The eggs were really, really good - nicely chopped. I sampled a little of the Caesar salad and it was excellent. But again, I wanted a healthy salad bar, not an alternative to Carrabas. Staff members FIVE star - lovely, friendly and helpful. I'll go back to try their soups. Am grateful they are at least around to have some semblance of a healthy dining option. Still not fully vegetarian friendly though with more interesting options for us.

Salads salads that's ok. No meat no meat that's bad. Have never been here before. Lived thur it and food acceptable. Would I ever go back. No no not unless my love for food ends. 2 out of 5 for me.

Wow, what an awesome place, I really hope we get one in Philly! I loved the selection of all the varieties of salads that you get to choose in the beginning (from standard to fancy to cole slaw types, I loved the sweet broccoli one) with tons of toppings, and then you pay and go to the second part where they have soups, pasta, bread and potatoes bar. They had almost 10 different soups, and a lot were vegan/vegetarian which was awesome. I loved my split pea soup. You really do get filled up fast but on semi-healthy foods! The dessert area could definitely use a little help, but it's kind of for the better that those temptations are low ( I did like the ice cream machine). For $9 this beats Salad Works any day!!! Fantastic place and great and friendly staff and service!

Great employees! They really make you feel happy to stop by. Thought I had the best coupon for there and they said better ones are shipped to you after you sign up on the website. They were. :) anyway only complaint is sometimes the lettuce looks alittle off. Like brown or too soggy, but I love their passion tea, taste like the green tea from panera!!!! Super fruit muffins are good too!

They have a nice salad bar, but the customer service is not good. It's like golden corral with a slightly better salad bar and a little less traffic.

Now, let me preface this by saying I'm against buffets in nearly all-forms, but I have to say at least Sweet Tomatoes attempts to make the focal point of the activity their salad bar. That said, they offer some good salad options and some pretty tasty soups. Just be careful on your portion control and try not to get stuck on the carbo-load side of their place and you might make it out of there glutton-free!

great soups ( chicken stew, tomato bisque mixed). great breads(corn, chocolate). you can't really screw up your salad since there are so many different options to choose from. and the chocolate lava cake with soft sever is the best finisher. Don't forget to show them your coupons. staff was awesome in letting my whole party use the coupons and clearing our plates constantly. just be careful with over doing it. i tried my best to stuff myself silly and should have stopped a plate early. i couldn't help it though, it was so good.

I loved this place. I'm an avid soup and salad type of girl and had been craving Panera's french onion soup for weeks. My brother suggested going to this place instead and let me tell you it was a wonderful idea! The staff is very happy and helpful. The salad bar was a little depleted by the time we got there but I was able to get a ceasar salad with black olives and my brother was able to get his own dressed up salad. It was a little confusing at first because I was there for the first time and didn't know which cup to take and whether or not I could go back up for salad. But it was cheap and very tasty. Also they had this amazing Asian Ginger soup that just hit the spot! I loved it! Wish I had gone up for my salad but after tasting all the soups and settling on the Ginger one I was stuffed by then!

Always fresh and delicious but the staff consistently goes way above and beyond to try and help, even more than any other location I've visited. One waitress and the manager that is the 'jack of all trades' are outstanding!

When we come down to The Villages to visit my dad, this is the first place I want to go! Huge salad bar with unique items, friendly service, a great hot bar with soups, breads, a dessert bar & many things to drink! It's all you can eat, so the price is very reasonable and the ingredients are very fresh. The table staff quickly clears used plates and leaves room for more! I wish they had this chain up here in the Wash, D.C. area, I'd frequent it often. If you visit Florida, check Yelp for a nearby Sweet Tomatoes. Well worth the money!!

I'm usually pretty easy to please, but this was a less-than experience. I must admit I'm not a huge fan of buffets to start with... This is basically a soup and salad bar with a few extras. The salad bar had plenty of selections and was pretty fresh, and there were several soups from which to choose, but nothing to write home about. Not much more to say. If you're a fan of salad bars, you might really like this place. I'm not a fan.

The only place around for salad bar that has fresh variety of vegetables. Ate there yesterday afternoon and it was all fresh and clean. Management has improved the looks of the salad bar food. I appreciate the helpers leave us alone and do not reach over my plate for the dirty dishes. I really hate an arm under my nose while I am trying to eat.

Pretty good food. Try to find a coupon because it's pricey at $12 considering very little to no meat

The best salad bar in the area! After that is a soup, pasta and specialty bread counter all for one price! Buy the beverage and you have choices from soda, coffees, teas and juices. Dessert choices too! Seniors (60 +) special price m- f afternoons!

It starts with a salad bar, then soups, muffins, focaccia, and ends with a simple ice cream bar. We tried all of the salads. The potato and macaroni tasted like they came from plastic cans and, frankly, not good. The broccoli salad was fresher but still not good. The lettuce salads were okay but ordinary at best. The muffins and focaccia were okay and, if they were freshly baked, were nothing special. Only tried two soups, they were acceptable. Just like the rest of the place the ice cream bar was ordinary. The brownies, however, were still warm but no one finished them. Service was very good.

Not our favorite Sw Tom. Salads good as are the soups. The pasta dishes were pretty awful. The Mac n cheese was in a huge soup pot and was all dried out, the white rice was down to the bottom and what it was replaced with didn't look great. The place was a mess when we came in, tables not bussed and employees chit chatting. We've usually had a good experience here. We may we think next time.

My son and I ate at Sweet Tomatoes today! The salad bar was fresh and filled. The best thing today was the service. Weston was our server. He greeted us as we came off the line. Made sure the table was clean and our empty plates removed. Weston was all over the dining room greeting other customers and offering great service! I was very impressed with his professional service. I hope you train him for a manager.

This is a really good place for lunch or dinner. They have a huge salad bar and also eight soups, all you can eat. There is fresh baked bread, pasta, baked potatoes, desserts, and they are all you can eat. This restaurant is clean and the people who work there are friendly. You can save a lot of money by going on-line and getting the coupons. You just have to sign up and the coupon announcements are emailed to you each week. I highly recommend this restaurant.
