We are here visiting my mother in law from California & i have to say this place lived up to my expectations of a country cafe. The service was awesome & the food matched. I wish I would have gotten our waitresses name because she made the experience here so worth it. All the staff was attentive & very friendly.

Good cooking, friendly, efficient service, charming decor. Our waitress knew many of the regular customers and treated us like one of them. The $2.99 breakfast M-F mornings is a great deal. Great grits, huge homemade biscuit with the eggs. My husband enjoyed the large serving of hash brown potatoes. Food is served with a disappointing vegetable spread rather than real butter but the meal is so good you don't need to use it. Tried the regular breakfast another morning. French toast was good, sausage links were even better than the sausage patties. Off the beaten track but worth the trip!

Impressed. Not a place I would typically visit but it was the closest place after a 3 hour farm visit and my friend and I had 4 children in tow and they were starving. It's a sit your own type of place but luckily it was not too busy. We put two tables together and saw a wagon full of toys. Win, win! Because it kept the kids entertained while we waited for food and they forgot for a bit how hungry they were. The toys however could have been a little cleaner (they should wipe them) Waitress was great, service was fast and food was good. I ordered the kids hot dog and basket of chicken fingers with fries. My older one didn't really like the hot dog (but in the restaurant defense she's used to organic ones) the chicken fingers were good and French fries hot and crispy. I ordered a bacon burger. The portions were big and overall great experience. As I said extremely impressed. My friend had a chicken salad and a Reuben sandwich that she split for her girls. They both ate it so that was good. I don't leave in area as we were visiting but would go back if I did. I didn't give it a 5 bc of the toy issue def not bc of a food or service issue. Cleanliness for kids is a must.

So the foods usually not bad(only issue being portions) and the service is mediocre at best. A few pointers, add an iced coffee to your menu, then teach your servers how to make one. I just ordered it and I got a soda glass full of ice and coffee, and a half and half. Come on. Also: get new servers. I'm sitting at a table near the kitchen and I've been hit by this one older server around 4 times already. An "excuse me", or "I'm sorry" would go a long way. Anyways, this place isn't bad at all, and the owners are super friendly. My biggest issue is their staff and the consistency between what you order and what actually comes out of the kitchen. When we paid, the server asked how everything was. We responded with, you guys have done better. She never responded, gave us our change and then said "have a nice day!" Mind=blown

"Worth the drive." in my husband's words. We were staying in Williamsburg and wanted a mom and pop breakfast place as I hate corporate chain eateries. Woodsby's is just the place! The servers and staff were all attentive, fast and friendly. The biscuits and gravy were amazing. Biscuit was huge, fluffy and delicious. One of the best we've had! My egg was cooked soft perfectly and the hashbrowns crisped to perfection. The only improvement I have is for them to pound and batter their own country fried steak. Such an amazing breakfast shouldn't be taken down a notch using a frozen patty (loss of the fifth star). Other than that, we have bookmarked and will drive out of our way to return.

This is a very good, small breakfast restaurant in Kissimmee. When we arrived at 9am, we were seated at a big table right away. The waitress was extremely fast in getting our drinks out to us and providing refills as well! She took our order within the first 5 minutes and 15 minutes later the food came out, nice and hot. I ordered the Veggie omelet with a biscuit and hash browns. I LOVED the veggie omelet but the biscuit was rather dry and bitter (I may be used to Georgia style biscuits which are sweet and soft). Overall this was an excellent little restaurant to go to for breakfast. It's very easy to get to and they have their own parking lot. It is a lot better than chain restaurant breakfast! Definitely give it a try!

This would have been a more stars rated place if I tried more variety on their menu, Not having the server's finger/nail touching my plate of food onto my noodles and the service was a little bit better. I came across this place while driving to another job site facility today. It was the closest family style restaurant nearby -- So I decided to check it out. The place is next door to a Tattoo place -- Its not difficult to miss. LOL -- The parking spots were pretty full when I arrived for Lunch Hour. I walked in and the place was packed!! There were only 2 spots available and that was the barstool area. Oh and I was the only minority in that place!! I felt ignored due to the fact perhaps they were busy? So I believe the owner the blonde short haired older lady saw me gazing around and asked if I needed any help.. She then went out from her register and went to the barstool area and asked what I wanted to order -- They have a board when you walk in for the daily specials.. They had grilled fish as an option along with beef tips and noodles. I opted for the Beef Tips & Noodles with 1 side. The lady helped me choose a good side and she said Cabbage would be good with my Entree. She then asked if I wanted Biscuit or Corn Muffin.. I didnt know they are known for their Biscuits -- So I chose the Corn Muffin. The Sweet Tea was delicious!! Its brewed well and right sweetness! Not watery tea! Its better than Mcdonalds Sweet Tea and trust me McD's have good sweet tea! I also ordered a side of Basket French Fries because I felt I still be hungry after eating my meal. The wait on the food felt kind of long perhaps the busy crowd? As the lady served me my Entree - I noticed her thumb/nail was touching my noodles!!! Ugggghhh MAJOR PET PEEVE!!! I find it very unsanitary for anyone serving my food to touch it! The tastes of the food - The Beef Tips and Noodles was tasty - Gravy was good and the beef I can tell was fresh. Noodles were el dente' and the cabbage was DELICIOUS! I was also spooning the cabbage broth! The corn muffin was okay it was kind of dry imo. The sweetness was there though! It was served with country crock butter. Fries are fries from a frozen bag imo -- Right amount of Salt was good! This place is pretty good -- I would come back again but PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH MY FOOD WHILE SERVING IT! Also the drink service was slow -- They did offer a to go drink in advance -- But by the time they refilled my tea I was done with my Entree. The servers barely asked how was I doing until towards the end. Again maybe it was a busy day or perhaps avoided certain customers?!

We had been trying to get here for ages so today was the day!!! It doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that speak to the quality of food and service behind the doors. It was actually lunch time but Hubby and I wanted the breakfast we had been hearing and reading about! I couldn't decide so I ordered Pancakes AND French Toast with a side of ham! The pancakes were thick, fluffy and delicious. The French Toast was soft and had a good cinnamon taste! The ham was perfectly salty and a great size portion! Hubby had eggs with biscuits and gravy. He wanted grits but because of the late start to our day they were all out...he was heartbroken:( His breakfast was good and he said the gravy was one of the best ones he's had. The sweet tea is delicious here too! Staff is super friendly and welcoming and they seem to know so many of the locals and regulars, it's very endearing in today's fast paced, anonymous world!

Went this past Saturday for the first time. The line was actually out the door. Our server, Amy, was very nice and attentive. The home fries were not to my liking, kind of had a weird taste to them and I couldn't find an onion or pepper in them. The other items I ordered were eggs and bacon not something that you can really mess up. My friend had a ham steak that was almost wafer thin. This is not a place that I would go out of my way to visit.

This is a great diner with great food. You can't go wrong with their breakfast! The service is great and the owners are very nice. It's a very popular restaurant, so you may have to wait, but they are very efficient, so you won't wait long. It reminds me of the good ole days growing up in Kissimmee.

We found this place online and I promise the reviews are all legit!! The staff and service was the best you can find!! We had breakfast and the portions are very generous yet it's quite inexpensive!! I was told about this place by a friend. Decided to try it for breakfast and was extremely happy. The food was great, the service was great and the restaurant was well staffed. The cost was less than any of the chains. I suggest that anyone living here or coming through the area try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. I can go on about what we had etc. But I can say whatever you get there it will be good. I will be going back and trying lunch and dinner as well.

Have been here for breakfast twice and it was excellent both times. Nice to get away from all the big chain breakfast joints and enjoy some real home cooking. Service was excellent. I think we had three or four services looking after us and making sure everything was ok.

AWESOME BREAKFAST! I try to avoid the chain restaurants while travelling, and get a taste of local flavor, going to Woodsby's was the best move I made all week! Breakfast was AMAZING! I had the hungry man breakfast: eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, and those fantastic biscuits and gravy! Service was very good even though the place was busy. Decor is down-home country, clean but not flashy. Prices were very resonable for the amount of food served! Seriously, skip Dennys and Perkins and IHOP - go get a REAL breakfast here!

The name says is all. Country homestyle food, prices, and service. We've been going here for years about twice a month for breakfast. The best grits on the planet. Don't let the full parking lot fool ya, you'll be at a table in minutes if one's not available when you walk in. Large portions, the biscuit is made for three people... you'll see. Highly recommend.

So happy I took a chance on a local establishment instead of a chain restaurant while on vacation... Drove by this place a few days ago and noticed the parking lot was full. When looking for a spot for lunch, I noticed the Yelp reviews were pretty positive, so the other members of my crew bought in. I'll not go into too much detail, but the service was excellent. We called ahead, and they reserved a table for our large party. The food came out promptly to our table, and refills of soda/tea were handled quickly. The food is traditional breakfast/lunch diner fare, but done very well. The portions were also large...the full order of biscuits and gravy are redunkulous. Everyone went home happy and full. What else can you ask for?

Gotta love a breakfast restaurant that opens early (6 am on Sunday) where the waitress (Brandi) sits across the table offering to put whatever food combination you want together. Oh yeah, and at a fair and reasonable price too. Today was my first visit to Woodsby's but it won't be my last. The biscuits are home made every morning, the decor looks like it hasn't changed since the restaurant opened (in other words, not a chain), the restaurant is spotless and the staff is very friendly. Don't blink as you are driving there or you will miss the entrance to their parking lot. Look for the tattoo parlor (next door) and the convenience store / gas station in the next parking lot. There is nothing else around, or at least nothing that I saw when I stopped by early in the morning. The food... Excellent - Homemade buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy. I couldn't eat an entire biscuit and the gravy was perfect. Excellent - the bacon. Anyone who has read my other reviews will know that breakfast in my world is about the bacon. This is not the thickest bacon I've had but the flavor was great and it was not greasy. Bonus points for serving 4 slices with a regular egg order. OMG - the grits. Real, yes real home made grits. Making real grits seems to be a lost art but Woodsby's gets it right. Bravo. UFR (unfreakingreal) - the sausage gravy. Lots of sausage in a creamy gravy and just the right amount of spice. Excellent country sausage gravy. Trust me, you cannot eat one biscuit with this gravy. Or if you can, make sure you have your arteries cleaned after you eat. $10.35 - total w/tax for 2 eggs, 4 slices of bacon, grits, homemade buttermilk biscuit and sausage gravy. I call that reasonable and then some. Stop by and give your arteries a workout. You'll be glad you did.

Way way back when I used to workout this would be what I ordered all the time. Eggs, bacon, sausage. Here at Woodsby's they take it to a whole new level. This is what true southern style home cookin is all about. Eggs over easy of course. Wifey got the good stuff. Huge biscuit on the side. This was our first time here and we loved it. My good friend @ann_rodoz recommended this place to us. Sorry we couldn't bring you with us ARO. Next time we will all go together. Baby girl ordered something similar to mommy. But hers came with toast. Crispy hash browns is the only way to go. And just for fun I had to try their French toast. Growing up I was never really a fan. Now I am noticing I am picky when it comes to French toast. Me picky. That is funny seeing the way I eat everyday. This is a great restaurant. Always busy. They serve dinner as well although rumor has it that breakfast is their specialty. Embarrassed to say that I couldn't take a picture inside the restaurant because it was so full. People get creeped out when I start taking pics in a restaurant. Wonder why? : ) Wifey, baby girl, and Foodbidden Approved!! Great place for home style cooked meal and it's great for those on a budget. Ask for Ashley.

"After our Bogey Creek Airboat tour we asked their staff to recommend us a local restaurant in Kissimmee. Woodsby's Cafe Diner was the agreed choice." "Inside, it really felt like a mom and pop cottage house. Wooden furniture, outdoor murals, some fishing gear, a collection of roosters, cups etc. We were warmly welcomed by a lady appearing to be an owner and invited to a booth." "Their menu cover is perhaps the inspiration of this restaurant - a wooden house in the outdoors. Inside the menu, the local feel was obvious - plenty of small ad inserts..."

"Inside, it really felt like a mom and pop cottage house.
