We happened onto this lovely place while looking for one of the advertised steakhouse in the area, deciding to go for Indian food instead. We were graciously hosted by the owners. What a gem! Delicious and authentic curries and chutney, Naan and Kulchi and Masala Chai. Chicken Tikka Masala, Muttai Paneer, Onion Kulcha we're real standouts. A bargain and we'd come back again whenever we are in the area!

Great food. Order mild if spices busy. Buffet in day. Great for groups. See photos .... Even the kids cleared their plates.

Sometimes you come across an amazing meal, that's perfectly cooked and delicious. Wawa Curry was not one of these places. When I got the Mixed Grilled Tandorri Chicken, we found a long piece of hair. The service here was beyond horrible. We told the manager there and she wasn't paying attention at all. She so casually said she will just get another piece of chicken. I would not recommended this place to anybody.

Very great place to eat.. The owner make you eat in the dark, but try the puff bread it is good.... Better than the Taste Of Punjab

Walked inside the restaurant, and waited for a host or anyone to come talk to me so I could get seated. After 5 minutes of employees ignoring me and passing right past me as if I was invisible, I decided to leave the place. Was a big waste of my lunch break driving there and waiting for nothing.

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. We live in Jacksonville and come to Orlando often due to the amazing selection of restaurants. We found this restaurant to be excellent in every way including service, taste, and food quality. The food is was spicy per my request. We are Indian by heritage and are very picky about the quality of Indian restaurants. We found the food to be extremely flavorful and authentic. The food was also fresh and not overly oily by any means. The owner was there and really truly made us feel at home. Server it was very personable efficient. This will be without a bout, our go-to Indian restaurant in Orlando.

I went to this location while on vacation in Orlando, FL. The management is great. The food was good. Cons: Mango chutney was not placed in the bag and did not double check to ensure all the ordered items were in the bag. Needless to say I have to take off for that.

We were in a rush for lunch and didn't want to drive the extra 5 minutes to Punjab so went to the closer Indian place to the office. Meh, never again. Walked in and the place was pretty empty except for owner?/waiter and someone else sitting at a table. We sat and he brought us menus but we noticed they seemed to be dinner menus. We asked if they had lunch specials or a lunch menu and he kinda scoffed at us and said that he can give us 20% off the prices listed for lunch. After a few more sentences he mentioned something about lunch being $9 or $10. There was a lot to choose from and I think I had the chicken koorma. The food came and it was decent but all you get is rice, naan, and the entree. We weren't impressed with the service and trying to pay was another adventure. For less money, you get more food at Punjab down the street. Service is a lot friendlier too. One and done with this place.

I would have ordered tonight if I have had a menu to look out for my take-out order! I hate calling and wasting both our time when I don't know what to order. Please, fix this! It's as simple as taking a picture of the menu and posting it from a smartphone, etc....

Didn't actually eat here - so just offering a tip for potential diners -- we visited at 1:00 PM on a Saturday, based on the fact that the restaurant's website says they have a daily lunch buffet. The buffet was nonexistent -- we were told the buffet only runs during certain seasons and they weren't sure when it would be back.

I thought it was great - don't expect 5star dinning-food is excellent & fresh! The bread was hot & the waiter was nice & prompt.

Short story: The food I tried was good not great. The service is lacking (nice but not very attentive). I will go back to try the "everyday" buffet but will have to call the day of to make sure they have it. Longer story: I love Indian food, but I can never pick one thing to order. I prefer to go to buffets and get everything I like. I called this place the day before to ask if they had a lunch buffet, and was told that it is everyday from 11pm to 3pm (I noticed later that the same info is also on their website, and there is a larger than life sign that says it on their front window). The next day I walk in during the times I was told and I see that the buffet station is empty. It was so disappointing because I never would have went if there wasn't a buffet! If it is common for them to cancel the buffet then the man should have told me to check the day-of, just in case. When I asked the man who came to greet me about the buffet, he told me simply, there is no buffet today and offered 20% off. I figured maybe I would find something and decided to try it out. Since the server kept walking away and did not appear to understand me very well, I just picked something I thought looked familiar. My dish looked very nice but ended up tasting OK. I would not say that it was any better than the other Indian places that are closer to my home in Orlando; however, I believe it is work another try.

Went for the lunch buffet. Nothing was marked. Had no idea what I was eating. The place was fairly empty, and yet it was hard to get a plate. Once I got the plate, I had to wipe it off. My water glass also needed a good cleaning. Will look for another Indian restaurant next time I'm in town.

I really really loved the food... We're from out of town and we were looking for a place to eat (Indian) we looked at the reviews and it was all negative so I told my husband let's just try it . The prices are a little high I will say they should have some specials for lunch and the place is quiet. You don't get all the attention all tho I will say TRY IT YOURSELF!!! We also try taste of Punjab it was the same price and we just didn't like it it was ok ... (From our opinion). We're from out of state we eat a lot of Indian food and so far this is one of my favor places. Taste home made . So try it!!!!!

Walked into this place right as it opened for dinner and there were dirty dishes and two workers sleeping (without shoes or socks) in one of the booths. Lights weren't on and walked right out. This place seems sketchy and based on the other reviews glad I didn't eat here. If there was an option to give this place no stars I would. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Sooo disappointed.... I had heard through the grapevine that this was a great new Indian place in the area, so I ran over there for a quick lunch. This is my sad review. I walked in the door and there's no one there to greet me. Just a painted wooden screen. Hmmm... Pop my head around and notice there's someone at the cash register, so I walk back. I'm noticing that most every table is covered in dirty dishes and debris. Ick. At the counter, I'm barely acknowledged, so I grab a menu. There is no lunch menu, and everything is in the $12-$15 price range. I saw a sign in the window that there is a lunch buffet until 2, so I look over at the buffet but there's nothing on it, even though it's just past 1. I walk back to the counter, with my shoes ever so slightly sticking to the floor, and at this point the gentleman working the counter walks away to the back. So, I gave up. Put my menu back on the stack and headed out the door. I'll give it another try, but one can only hope that it's a better experience than todays!

We visited this place during our trip to Orlando. It was very close to our hotel. We ordered biriyani and some curries. Not at all authentic Indian food. Highly disappointing! Not worth for your money. We carried out food from this place and they did not place our entire order. If you happen to take a carry out from here, please make sure they put everything what you order.

Fabulous! Too bad I discovered this awesome restaurant on my last night in town. Pure authentic Indian food that will heal your taste buds from the grotesque American food experience that is invading Florida. My mom is generally "ok" with Indian and food and stated "it is the best indian food she ever had" . And I second that! Too bad we cant bring it back through the customs with us :) Ps: mostly local indian customers were here, so that tells you a lot :)

We stopped here while in transit because it is open late. The prices are on the higher side. More expensive than New York. While the food is somewhat decent it is on the lower quality end of the spectrum. The atmosphere is perhaps best described as bare bones adequate. There are posted signs instructing patrons not to waste food. Would not recommend dining here. Staff was pleasant and tried to please but it is not enough to counter balance the overall poor experience. This is a place to eat to curb ones hunger in the late night, not for pleasure and not representative of typical Indian cuisine dining.

Meat was very tender and the sauces they use here have great flavor. You get to pick the spicy level...I picked the most spiciness that they have! I love spicy food and this one really hit the spot. Will be coming back here for sure.. great service, not much variety of alcoholic drinks though.

1) Do not know how to take orders, messed up our order with other table order 2) Served mango lassi in use & throw coffee cup without even straw (It's made with spoiled yogurt) 3) Do not know that soups & appetizers need to be served first then the main course (Gave us biryani first skipping soups and tandoori chicken) 4) Did not even apologize when we walked out in the middle of dinner
