Delicious. The cheese is hand-made. The salsa is handmade. The tortillas (so, the chips they welcome you with) are hand-made. For anyone who's ever actually been to Mexico, you know this place is 100% legit. Note that the only 3-star review here describes the food as "amazing" and his girl "loved it so much". Wonder what it would take to get 5 stars outta that guy. The soups are delicious. The meats are well-prepared and well-seasoned. Can't say enough good things. Here's one more, though: For two very satisfying tacos ("preparados") you only pay $5, even if you ask for the premium meats, like skirt steak or grilled chicken. I've had their soups, burritos, flautas (rolled tacos), and their tacos. All great. I've tried their grilled chicken, carne asada (grilled steak), and the regular chicken. All good. This is a foodie Mecca.

We were welcomed with a huge smile and energetic server. Took our drink order and came back with chips and two different salsas. 1 was spicy (not too spicy) and the other was very watery. The chips were a bit on the thick side. The 4 tamales were 2 chicken 2 pork ,good, but kept finding something hard in the chicken ones. My bestie had the chimi.. and had nothing but rants and raves about it. Their service was a bit slow but with great attitude. They even served us a to go order of something only sold in the store.

Well priced and delicious. Had a burrito with carne asada. Plenty of food for 8$. Not a fancy place especially being part of a grocery store but great local Mexican place nonetheless. Don't hesitate to try this place

Super authentic. Their tacos are to die for. Service is good. Friday and Saturday night it can get a little roudy with the drunks but the employees handle them well.

Kissimmee is known for its delicious Puerto Rican food and hidden within the small streets are the Mexican Restaurants. La Mexicana is more of a supermarket, but has a restaurant inside as well. It also has a small bakery. This is truly the one stop shop. You can get all your groceries here and get a bite to eat at the restaurant. @Xobejm ordered the Taco De Carne Asada (Steak) with Rice and Beans. Not sure if you have to request toppings or not. Baby Girl just ate it plain, but she knew she should have asked for more stuff on top of that taco. The steak was very good though. My order was the Torta De Milanesa. (Breaded Steak) with the works inside. Fresh Mexican cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, mayonnaise, avocado, etc. This was amazing. Baby Girl ate half of my sandwich cuz she loved it so much.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
