Ever notice how there are very few Asians in Orlando? Well clearly they couldn't find any Chinese chefs to run this restaurant and have hired whiteys or latinos to work the kitchens at Taste of China. Horrible food! We ordered take out for 7 people. We figured 7 dishes would leave us with enough leftovers to feed a small army (as it usually does) but we ended up raiding the fridge making sandwiches after. Portions were dissapointingly small. Moo Shu Pork - bland Beef and Broccoli - where is the beef? Kung Pao Chicken - bland, meh Shrimp with Special Tomato sauce - there is nothing special about the sauce, or the shitty frozen tiny shrimps used. ($12,95 and there was maybe an ounce of shrimp floating around in some "special" gelatinous sauce) Chicken Lo-Mein - average Fried Rice - hard to mess this one up! Stir fry veggies - ok-ish It wasn't especially expensive, but the food was seriously dissapointing.

Never order here again...Horrible! Rude receptionist, doesn't take time with your call. Food arrived cold and items missing. When called to ask about an item that came with order, I was told I needed to specify that's what I wanted. Food very bland, no seasonings at all. Egg rolls very greasy. Very expensive for small portions of food.

This food was absolutely disgusting. Worst take out ever. My husband but into an egg shell that was in his soup. We called the restaurant and the people told us there was nothing they could do about it. We just spent 50.00 on food that we can't even eat. Stay away from this place.

Was in Kissimmee visiting & had a taste for some Chinese. NEVER AGAIN! I wish I had read the reviews before ordering from this place. Believe what you read about this place! I wouldn't even want to let my dog eat what little leftovers I had left. They don't offer shrimp fried rice. The egg rice that I did order had, had egg shells in it. OMG. Didn't get any egg rolls. Asked for extra duck sauce - just to be on the safe side. I was told she put plenty in the bag for me, which was a blatant lie. There were none in the bag. The "krab" Rangoon was more bread if anything. Seems like they put a teaspoon of filling in them. The combo Lo mein was nothing but dry noodles wit 2, maybe 3 pcs of chicken, beef & shrimp. Save your time & money with this place. Very disappointing.

I wish my wife had yelp. She would have never stopped here. She picked up food and brought it back to our condo. This was the worst chinese food I have ever had in my life. (and overpriced) The fried rice was dry and old. The portions were small. The food tasted horrible. What I hate about Orlando area is that bad restaurants snag unsuspecting tourists. I am so angry about this place.

If there were negative star awards to be given out, then this would rate a minus 5+! Obviously there was a reason after five years of living in the area only 2 miles away that we never ordered from them before. This restaurant placed in the glob of stores left over after the defunct Formosa Gardens went out of business and we smartly ran the Chinese back to wherever they came from, appears from the outside to be a nice place. As is the overdone decor inside however that is where the niceties end. The menu says BBQ Ribs (4 pieces). One would assume from this description they would be actual ribs, with bones. Instead it was a small to go container filled with small ( thumbnail size ) jerky like meat pieces that I'm sure were on pig somewhere but highly doubtful of the rib variety, drizeled with a sweet red sauce. Unfortunately they were so dry it was EXACTLY like eating jerky. The Mu Shu Pork at first glance resembled some seen in the past however that is were the similarities ended. It had been stir fried in grease so rancid that had it in reality tasted like said advertised product, one would never know. 3 people spit out the first bite and it went from there back in the bag. The Mu Shu pancakes were a joke: cold flour tortillas from the Win Dixie next door. Egg rolls were of the pre made frozen variety and cold. The only thing half way palatable was the egg drop soup. Add that to the fact they charged an extra 4 dollars for being out of their 3 mile delivery range ( 0ne way mind you and we have measured it at 2.3 mile from the house ) and it made for a horrible experience. DISGUSTING AT BEST! A call was made and was told not responsible after food leaves restaurant. The community needs to cohese and run these pretenders out of town. Starvation better than eating here.

Worst chinese take out ever. If you are in the mood for chinese food, do yourself a favor and keep driving. Taste of China is offensively bad. Sesame Chicken in thick BROWN SAUCE?!?! Five flavor beef had one flavor, LACKING. The Krab Rangoon was ok ( yes they spell Crab with a K ), but the rest was completely tasteless.

Horrible service!!! The place only had a few people in it & no one paid attention to us. After 10 min of waiting to be seated someone actually noticed us. We were seated but the place smelled like urine. When we asked if they had any chinese vegtables, the waiter did not know!!! I warn everyone to STAY AWAY. P.S. There is a Japanese place near it called Take sushi amazin service, and the place actually smells like food!!

This restaurant was an hour and a half late in delivering a food order, they failed to deliver the proper order of food, and would not take any steps to correct the order. Additionally, the food quality was atrocious. When the order problem was reported to them, they refused to correct the order, the person on the other end of the line declared that it was not his problem, he was not responsible for the problem, and hung up on me twice. I haven't come across a company with this poor a level of customer service ever before. There is not a single aspect of their product or service that is acceptable. I was offended by the poor food, atrocious service, and worse treatment.

Any Chinese restaurant that makes excellent eggplant with garlic sauce will get repeat business from me. This dish is my initial test for all Chinese restaurants. At Taste of China, the dish was well executed with the eggplant cooked thoroughly, the sauce well spiced without being spicy (or too salty), and there were plenty of onions and extra bits of scallions and carrots.Eggplant heaven. My friend ordered the curry chicken which she ranked a 6 out of 10. We took broccoli chicken and chicken fried rice back to the kids. My son liked the leftover curry chicken and had seconds on the broccoli chicken. The fried rice was average. So, 5 stars for the eggplant, minus a star for not bringing the hot sauce we requested with our order and for not including the steamed rice that was ordered with the to-go order. Service was prompt and efficient, but there was a communication problem with the older woman who was our server. Overall 3.5 but will round up to 4 stars. The food was prepared quickly. Prices reasonable. Would recommend to folks staying near Walt Disney World.

Horrible customer service. I would never catch myself walking into the restaurant again. I asked for take out service and all I got was attitude. I controlled myself, walked out and threw away their menu in the nearest garbage can. I can believe they are still opened. By the way there was no one in the restaurant maybe it was a clue to leave and or to stay away. There's another buffet place across the street...great food..friendly people.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
