Macaroni grill has always been a favorite for me and my family. Now with their lunch quick service option it allows you to eat an amazing meal in under 7 minutes or less, or it's free. The quick service option has a smaller menu but it's just as tasty and delicious as the normal menu. The cashier takes your order you pay and bam you're good arrives in under seven minutes. If you've never been here before you have to try the Rosemary bread, it is phenomenal!!! The create your own pasta is also amazing, giving you the opportunity to build your pasta from the ground up! Staff was friendly, place was very clean and also not very busy. Very very good food!!!

The service was disturbing. Our waiter Dale kept going on about the wine even though we informed him that we will not be drinking since we will be driving for 2 hours. He took our drink orders and we could not find home for 20 minutes. We asked another waiter and he has an attitude and stated that he was ringing up someone's check. When our waiter finally showed up he had stated that he was helping in the kitchen. He then proceeded to go over the wine rules once again. I lost my apatite and let my wife and Mother order since they were hungry. This was the first time I went into this franchise and you had better believe that the service is just as important as the food.

It was nice of them to bring out samples of the new Italian Nachos while we waited. Unfortunately, they were not that good. We visited on a busy Saturday night and found the comments in other reviews to be valid. Although there was a 30 minute wait, there were many empty tables. It took us at least 10 minutes to get the bartenders attention and there were not too many people in the bar. The hostess was sweet. Our waitress was sweet but this kitchen needs an overhaul. The food took FOREVER and when it did come it was only warm. Seriously, the corporate training dudes need to get down here and straighten this place out or fire the kitchen staff and management team and start over. Unacceptable in a high traffic tourist town. If' you're heading to any Macaroni Grill these are our faves: - Pasta Milano - Penne Rustica - Mushroom Goat Cheese flabread - Its giant with lots of goat cheese Even our dessert took 20 minutes. Come on kitchen team, get your act together!

Ugh. Another poor customer experience. Long waits but not because they had no empty tables, but because they had no one to bus the tables that were empty. We waited for 45 minutes and watched while 1/3 of the tables in the restaurant were not getting cleaned off for new diners. After we were seated we were greeted by a friendly server. But the good experience ended there when food came out at room temperature; and after another long wait. My friends have dined here before and it seems to be the norm - waiting forever because they are short staffed. If you want a chain Italian restaurant, visit the Olive Garden across the street. Darden knows how to run a more efficient operation.

The food is just like any fine Italian restaurant but less in price. To me it's comfort food. Relax atmosphere and the people are very friendly. It is my go to place when I am hungry. I highly recommend this place to anyone. I have been coming here regularly for months and have not been disappointed.

Truly the worst server I have ever experienced. He moped, we had to ask him to repeat what he said multiple times, he barely stopped when he walked by our table to say something. Meanwhile across the dining area, there was an upbeat waiter talking about the menu and drinks. Our waiter was so despondent we actually worried when we didn't see him for a while. I mean we truly thought he was suicidal. "ok" "fine" "yeah" was the most he could muster. It wasn't busy and I had to complain but the hostess came by and asked how our meal was. I said good. She said "how was your service" and I gave her the shoulder shrug and weird face and was like ehhhh ok hoping she would say something and SHE kept walking! The food/price/portions are ok. I think it may be slightly more affordable than Carrabas but our waiter was HORRIFIC.

Our first time here. Place was nice looking and we got our table in a timely manner. Once seated we noticed the wall falling apart near us. I informed our server Rob and he just laughed it off. The food was nice but the service was very slow and lacks the personal touch. The house wine was being pushed aggressively. We ordered the cheese cake, when it arrived it was just a chunk of ice. We could not even cut it. A manager informed us that all cakes were frozen so we closed out our check. May return but with the lack of personal attention and the constant need of having to flag a server for items are concerning. It seemed the server had too big of an area to properly attend.

The bartender was very attentive and talkative (good thing!) He recommended the lobster ravioli, in which I ordered, but it wasn't as good as he made it sound :( My bf ordered the 7 in 7 and his meals tasted better. I would visit another macoroni grill, there were some other selections that I'm interested in trying next time.

This is a specific review of Romano's Macaroni Grill Kitchen Counter Express Service. In case you are interested they have a smaller menu of items you can get in 7 minutes for 7 dollars at lunch and 9 minutes for 9 dollars at dinner. Eat in or take out. I must admit there was a coupon last week for lunch at 2 for $10 and this week the dinner was 2 for $12 so I was all over that and I went twice last week and also got take out. I hit the dinner this week and also got take out. So first I want to talk about the service and the guarantee. Dine in - When you walk in the restaurant you will be handed a short menu with about 10 items. You step to a counter with signage in the middle of the restaurant that is also doubling as a waiter station. You place your order with the one server who is handling the Kitchen counter orders. She takes your order, payment and hands you a number and you are instructed to sit anywhere. A few minutes later your food arrives. The clock begins when she prints out your ticket. So the time on your ticket starts the guarantee clock. Note if you have a email coupon you only can get one deal discounted. The first time I went she told me that but since they had already taken my order and started the food, the manager overrode my order. Their computer is programed to not take a coupon from the same person on subsequent orders with the same credit card. I On to go orders you are told a time to pickup. In the evening I was told to come in 10 minutes which is funny since they were supposed to be ready in 9 minutes. The food is not elaborate on this menu and mostly pasta they can make in a hurry. However I found the portions very generous and the quality and taste was good. This is not fine dining but they are competing with quick serve restaurants and doing a great job. The only food I regretted ordering was the chicken milanese panzella, a plate on the dinner express menu. It was a big honking piece of fried chicken with something close to fried potato wedges and a small arugula, tomato, pickled onion salad with vinaigrette. I am use to milanese having a sauce and the only sauce was the vinaigrette dressing on the salad. If you don't particularly like pasta, then this would be the dish to go with. I really enjoyed the penne on the lunch and dinner menu. Lunch featured a light aflredo sauce and italian sausage. Dinner was about the same sauce but it was darker and it was served with beef brisket. The lunch spaghetti bolognese was tasty and at dinner the spaghetti was pork bellly and chicken carbonara, different meat but a similar dish. We enjoyed all the pasta dishes and felt they were a great deal at the price of a fast food meal. The service was minimal on the 3 times I dined in the dining room. Dinner provided more service because the night we went they slow and we got more attention. Lunch time is busy and our food was delivered by different servers I waved down someone to get drink refills and the Express Sever overlapped and I ended up with 2 drinks. I got there at lunch at good times as I observed other times there was a couple minute wait to place your order. We went to dinner right after they rolled out the new dinner service and the server made an error ordering dinner so when she brought my entree she realized the mistake and I got my dinner entree for free. This was good and bad. I only saved 3 dollars because we were trying to use the email coupon 2/12 so we ended up paying the regular $9 for the single entree. The to go order was exactly as I had ordered but I had to ask for cheese for the pasta. I took the pasta home and we ate it for lunch the next day. It was perfectly prepared and reheated well. Overall you get the same atmosphere, the same tables as other diners and you get your meal a lot quicker. If you want a leisurely lunch or an item that is not on the express menu, that service is still available, but for me the kitchen counter was a great deal at a great price. Our favorite at lunch and dinner is the penne. macaronigrill.com/expres… Lunch menu macaronigrill.com/kitche…

This place is always a good time. The waiters always write their names upside down and the bread is always warm and tasty. The chain atmosphere is almost non existent at the Macaroni Grill restaurants. Everything is quite tasty and feels like it is made fresh for you. Definitely recommend this one as it is easy to get in and out of!

A Saturday night.... 25+ open tables and your on a 25min wait??? The hostess also argued with me about if we could fit in a booth. We didn't stick around for the food. The wait was becoming to long.

Only reason I go back is because of Geo, the bartender, & the food. The service was horrible the very 1st time I went because they were going through a big management turnover & they sent servers home early, but Geo is amazing. He will take good care of you! If you love wine, try their Pinot Noir... it is delicious. & of course the food is very good.

Typical chain food...decent...only two beers on tap though Bud and Peroni...more of a selection would have been nice. They were out of a lot of items which I guess made the decision of what to order easier... Nothing great to report here...

I have been meaning to try this place for the poast 6 years and am glad that I was finally able to - it blows the Olive Garden out of the water - the staff was so wonderful we felt like family - the breads were awesome and the tapas (bruschetta and fried zucchini) were done to perfection - the main courses I had consisted of a magnificent pasta and meatball (a great mix of beef and veal) and the alfredo was creamy without being too heavy - excellent fare and great value for the money - I am hooked ...

What a lovely place ! Short line (10 min), nice Italian look. The starters were soooo good (njammie) ; the plates a little bit lesser eg the taste of the lasagna was not my thing. We will come back to try out other things.

Not as good as I thought. It was not very busy this rainy Sunday afternoon. The server brought my 3 kids (11,6,5) adult size glasses for some reason. My shrimp spiedini was a nice light dish but the peppers & eggplant were overcooked while the potatoes were completely raw. The chicken tenders/fries two of my kids ordered was good. The pepperoni pizza was not that great, peperoni's were thick and very greasy. The server was polite but could have been much more friendly. He didn't seem to be very happy. He didn't go over any specials or anything.

Funny. there were like 100 gift cards for this place sitting in the break room at work today.. they're like these mystery "$5 - $100 off" cards. I farted near them and took my coffee back to my office.

It was the gangs last supper before we all headed home. This place is *Kudos*! The food was delish. Had the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. Then the pork loin. Extremely tender! My wife had crusted sole w/ couscous. Very flavorful. Dessert, we had panna cotta & cappuccino. Just the perfect way to end a meal. For a table of 25 hungry adults and teens the service was superb. We would definetly come back and even recommend, when ever in orlando!

Poor experience. Host didn't greet us, when we sat down, it took forever for our server, Kevin, to come. He must've assumed for some reason we weren't good tippers as he basically ignored us most of the night while spending 20 minutes talking to the guests at tables on each side of us. He never asked what we wanted to drink, we had to request drinks when we ordered our food. A shame too, as we usually tip 20% but were not going to reward such horrible service. Our appetizers were cold and soggy. [ macoroni bites ] The Chicken Marsala I ordered sauce was so thin it was like water. For desert, we got half melted gelato. My drink was only refilled once, and my husband & friend's were never refilled at all. For the price, this place is definitely not worth it. We should've known better based on how un-busy the restaurant was at prime dinner time on a friday night. Don't waste your money here.

Colleen was our waitress and she was great and highly recommend! I have only ate at this chain once or twice, but I loved the food here! The prices were reasonable and potions were large, and I even took home food which I rarely do!! The bread was awesome and my spaghetti was awesome! I got the meatballs with meat sauce and it was more than enough! I would recommend for sure and ask for Colleen she was great!

As, I stepped into the lobby I smelled a funky, and dirty odor. I walked inside the restaurant and sat at the bar. I was approached by the bartender and she was very nice, and it needs to be closed again due to the Appetizer that wasn't cooked well. Just the simple fact that utensils, glass, the plate and granite countertop was dirty. I left the restaurant disappointed. Won't go there again.

It's amazing to me that the Olive Garden across the street can command a 45+ minute wait, and yet the Macaroni Grill be walk-in. That's exactly what we did on our visit -- try the Olive Garden (if only to remember why we never go there), and then skip across the street to more timely service and better food at Macaroni Grill. They did recently change their menu to a 2-sided "placemat" format, which my partner and I agreed cheapened the experience somewhat. The wine list had also received a shakeup; our favorite blend is no longer offered, though we opted into a Tempranillo that we truly enjoyed. (Unfortunately, the menu and wine list were so new, our server didn't know anything about the wine and had to reference her training materials; worse, no one in back knew which bottle the Tempranillo was as it is labelled as simply "Roja". The wine barely made it out with the salads. Not that I fault this; clearly the menu shakeup was days old.) Our big piece of advice: when ordering, be sure to tell your server if you want a leisurely pace (e.g., to enjoy a full bottle of wine). Otherwise they key in the salads, appetizers and entrees at the same time, meaning you're likely to have all three on the table at once. Makes for quicker table turn but not a relaxing meal.

I normally don't publish reviews for "chain" restaurants or stores, but I feel that I have something valuable to add in this instance. Be very careful of what you select on the menu. One time I ordered the Lobster Ravioli and I hardly got anything to eat. I guess that's because lobster is expensive, so they drastically cut the portion size. I complained to the manager and she had the server bring me more. If you order something like Chicken Parmesan (which is cheap for the restaurant to produce), you get a decent sized portion. On Friday and Saturday nights, particularly around holidays and the tourist season, this place can get very busy; and you will have a long wait for a table and slow service.

A friend and I stopped in for a late lunch this week. RMG offered a lunch special that included 2 entrees and 2 appetizers for $25. For a few dollars more, we were both able to upgrade to the Parmesan Encrusted Sole. Our two appetizers consisted of the goat cheese stuffed peppers and the bruschetta. What a great meal! Loved it. Then my friend pulled his calorie app and showed me that we had each consumed 1700 calories. I skipped dinner that night but it was worth it.

A good Italian chain, better than Olive Garden. Pasta Milano is creamy and savory. Calamari fritti is too greasy for my taste. Bruschetta needs improvement. Pasta Alfredo is a classic that cannot go wrong. I love all of their desserts!!!! The food used to be better. I don't know if the cooks were changed, but the food quality is not the same.

after being told short wait we decided to eat at Bar nicest girl working hard there,That was the best part now,The food was about as bad as you can get and still eat it. When asked why are food was cold they told us they had waited to serve it because the side dishes were not ready.I must say i have never had bad meat balls ,but they amazed me with what they served,JBad Just not the place to go.---food is cold and not worth the money.

I have great memories of Macaroni Grill back from college. My friends and I went often to the 1 near campus back in the days when they did wine on the "honor system." We would pack down what we thought was high end Italian wine, guzzling half a dozen glasses of wine and pay for 1. Those were the days. Longing for those days, we went to Macaroni Grille while on vacation in Florida. I know...I know...amazing that we would find a chain restaurant in Florida. You can call ahead for seating which is really great for a Friday or Saturday night. Strangely, our waitress was the quietest waitress on the planet - her lips moved but no sound came out. I went with the Penne Rustica, which I used to get years ago, as my entree. Our waitress said that it was the most popular dish, or she may have said "you should go with the fish" - not sure. I should have gone with the fish - the Penne Rustica was drenched in a super salty cream sauce that I'm sure is still blocking my arteries. (Looking at the girth of my fellow patrons at Macaroni Grille, I'm not surprised that it was the most popular dish.) At the end of my dinner, my plate was so full of the leftover sauce I could have eaten it with a spoon. And skip the Macaroni Grille wine. It's pretty sweet and has no business being served with heavy Italian dishes. Unfortunately, the other wines are extremely overpriced - they have a decent, basic wine list, but the wines are listed for 30 bucks when they have no business charging more than 20 for most of them. So...if you are into overpriced wines, oversauced dishes and silent servers, Macaroni Grille is the place for you!

This was my 1st time to Macaroni grill, and it wasn't really anything special. Its a typical chain restaurant. I had some kind of chicken and shrimp Penni. The taste was really good, but the pasta didn't seem to be cooked all the way. I did not complain, but it was definitely noticeable. The bread that they serve before your meal is really good, and the wait staff was friendly. I would not recommend me and a friend to go, but if they wanted to go, i would not decline. like i said... just typical.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Parking is good, if there is a wait, never long. Food is good, affordable. What I like the most is I watch the Superbowl at the bar with no drunken fans, it was calm and quiet.

Food was good as always. Service not so good. So slow! Issues with a coupon we had. Geo was a nice guy just not the best waiter.

OK food, poor service. Might as well drive the extra two miles down the street to 192 and go to the other macaroni grill, much better. This store could use some improvements.
