This is our "go to" Italian and celebration restaurant. Quaint with live music soft enough to have a conversation I've tried many of the menu items and am never disappointed. My favorites are the flounder franchise and the eggplant parm sandwich. The owner/chef always check to be sure your experience was pleasant. I wish they would bring back the buffet brunch on Sundays. It was a wonderful way to try new things on the menu and a fun way to introduce new people to the restaurant.

Very disappointed. We went here for Mother's Day - my choice - and boy was it wrong. My pasta was swimming in water. I found it over priced and flavorless. My husband didn't like his either. My son had pizza which actually looked good which is why it's getting 2 stars. I sure miss Boston's North End or Providence's Federal Hill. ---- If anyone knows where I can get some authentic italian food in the area, please tell me, Pazza Luna is not it.

After using the Yelp app religiously to find good places to eat locally we came across this place. We have never had a bad experience when visiting top rated Yelp places until this. To make a long story short, I would highly advise that for your personal health and safety that you AVOID this place at all costs. I ordered the Shrimp Diavallo and was served an almost watery soup that resembled tomato juice poured over over cooked noodles. Having paid close to $20 for this trifle dish I decided on not sending it back and complaining. I joked with my wife that the shrimp was about as chewy as bubblegum. She insisted I not eat is as it could be old or spoiled. I laughed as I finished the shrimp and and joking mocked the wife by telling her I loved my shrimp bubblegum. Huge mistake. That night I woke up sweating and without going into detail... had very bad stomach pains and issues. I ended up in the doctors office to discover that I had very serious food poisoning from the seafood I had eaten. It took nearly 2 weeks to clear out of my intestines and system. My life has been miserable since. Please look past the great reviews on this place and know that eating here was the cause of a very serious illness. I reread some of the reviews and they were almost like preconceived PAID commercials. Why would a Yelp reviewer give the business address and phone number in a food review? Why would a review state hours of operation when Yelp provides those? It makes me wonder who REALLY wrote these reviews. I made a huge mistake eating here. Please do not do the same.

In 25 years since leaving NYC, I haven't had a meal this good (other than at Tarantino's, whose prices soared as they relocated constantly). Just a shame it took us so long to try out Pazza Luna. Luckily I had to renew my tags next door, LOL, and the time was right (4pm). We were the first folks to arrive for dinner, and I made sure to peruse the menu outside to get a head start. (You may need to as well!) Just about everything you can imagine is available and at very reasonable prices ('cept pizza, though subs are on the menu). Our meal began with a lovely fresh green salad and the most delectable Italian wedding soup I've ever tasted (not salty to the taste, thank goodness, as I've got some spiraling hypertension). I ordered the chicken milanese, which was too good to be true: light, lemony, and ever more luscious when mixed thru the ample bed of capellini, while my husband dived into the shrimp fra diavolo, fresh-tasting and seasoned to spicy perfection with a medium robust marinara . The garlic knots were the only disappointment: they were either stale or overbaked (although I do love my knots golden brown). We followed up with two cappuccinos which were lucious to look at as well as down slowly, his tiramisu (featherlight with heavier notes of espresso and chocolate) and my cannoli (exquisitely crunchy shells encasing ultrafresh whipped ricotta topped with an even lighter version). Our dessert was accompanied by live and relaxing jazz-like guitar replacing recorded Andrea Bocelli (also a favorite). Pazza Luna has become an overnight one. Do check them out. Before 5pm, this place was packed. They also have a Sunday brunch from noon to 3pm for $8.95, our next stop. One of the nicest touches was the chef asking each table how they found their meal. Of course, it's right on Pleasant Hill and Fountainbleu Blvd.! So that's the ticket. Just don't wait till you get one to come here.

If you are looking for great Italian food in the Poinciana/Kissimmee area, you'll find it at Pazza Luna which used to be located at the above address. They have moved into a much nicer place in Kissimmee - their new address is 2932 Pleasant Hill Rd (in the Fountains strip mall), Kissimmee and phone # is 407-847-9938. When you arrive, you'll be greeted warmly by either the owner's wife Nube or one ot their friendly servers. While you're trying to decide what to eat, you will be given a basket of garlic knots drenched in butter -oh so yummy. It's hard to decide what I like best, everything is so good. Portions are large so you probably like most of us will take some home. Among my favorites are the Veal or Chicken Margarita, Veal Scaloppini and the Eggplant Rollitini. All are served with either soup or pasta. Do get there early, after 6:30 it gets very crowded since the locals have discovered it.

Ten members of our family (Italian family :-) went to Pazza Luna last night and disovered a wonderful treat in Kissimmee. They still have the famous garlic rolls that we had in Kissimmee on our first visit to Disney in 1976. It was like coming home. Our grandson rated last night's visit a 9.75. I said why not 10? He said there had to be something wrong but we just didn't find it. He's 13 and is quite the restaurant critic. He ordered a cheese pizza...we all had to taste it...the cheese was delicious! The pasta fagioli, veal margarita, veal sinatra, supa de pesce...was all outstanding. At first I thought we would be taking home half the food...no such luck. It was too delicious not to finish it. Thank you for the wonderful meal Pazza Luna. It was a wonderful experience. We tried to rent a grill for the house are renting...they didn't return our calls. Their loss is your gain because instead of grilling we'll be back to Pazza Luna. I am dying to try your shrimp parmigiana!

This place has an extensive menu, delicious food, generous portions, and enchanting owners. Our first night there, my aunt had veal parm, I had Penne alla Vodka, and my uncle had lasagna, and all were delicious, with everyone cleaning their plates, despite the large portions. I'm from LA, and I get Penne alla Vodka all the time here, and this was just as good as any of the "fancy place" penne I get at home. There was lots of garlic in it, which I loved. We also were given a basket of garlic rolls, which I've read are not quite the same as the apparently notorious rolls of Giuseppe's, but let me tell you, I found them fantastic- we each got 2 and they were literally sitting in a pool of butter at the bottom of the basket. The owners, Nube and Luis, even came out to talk to us (with a little coaxing from my aunt) and were very charming. During my week-long stay we had to go back, and that time we brought home spaghetti. We hope this restaurant is here to stay!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Absolutely delicious food! There we four of us and each ordered something different and loved it. Plus live entertainment--lovely guitar music. Can't wait to go back. A real treasure for the area.
