My son Brandon saw the "Golden Corral Buffet" sign a mile away and wanted to go there (which was also a few minutes from our hotel). He also remembered the commerical on television (I guess their marketing campaign works on kids). I'm not a fan of this type of buffet but since Brandon is a natural born eater, he loved the steak and seafood items. Overall the all you can eat food was decent especially the steaks/seafood and for $12.95 for adults and $6 for kids under 10...it's A-OK...

This is a buffet. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This place is great when you have people in your group that are picky eaters or don't eat what everyone else does. Here everyone will find a lot to eat. Dinner was about $16 per person, including drink. Buffet has salads, vegetables, pizza, chicken, beef, different cuts of meat, potatoes, fish, shrimp... you'll also get to choose from a variety of desserts or make a Sunday. We were impressed with some of their items, they were really good, and salad was fresh. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the people greeting us and at register. They looked miserable, tired, and like they just wanted to get our money and out of their way. Not even because it was New Year's Day did we get a smile from them. Same story with the man behind the meat counter. Thankfully the lady and gentleman serving our table were able to compensate for their lack of interest in their customers. These two people were beyond helpful, they were quick, friendly, made sure we had everything we needed (clean plates, refills, etc). The other thing is that I would like the place to look a bit cleaner but still an OK place to go. All you can eat for less than $20, pretty good deal.

My family and I drove past this Golden Corral every day while on vacation and it was packed at any hour of the day. My mom kept saying we should try it, but my brother was against it. He thought it would be poor quality. However, on the last day of our trip, we were hungry around lunch time and passed it, so we gave in to my mom's wishes. I'm so glad we did. This is not upscale dining by any means, but it's a great value and the food was actually really good. It was only $10 a person for lunch and we definitely got our money's worth. The buffet is sectioned off, which makes it easy to access. There are stations for salad, bread, main entrees, and dessert. There was a ton of variety in the food -- American, Southern, Chinese, Mexican, Italian. I really enjoyed the biscuits, the pizza, the macaroni and cheese, and the desserts, especially the smores tart and chocolate covered Rice Krispies treats. Our waitress, Rita, was very pleasant and attentive. Definitely try it! It's a great value.

This place is very clean and stocked with good fresh food. Visiting from NY and I must say I was pretty impressed with the selection. As a vegetarian, they def had a variety to choose from. My sister recommends the chocolate strawberries. Definitely worth the money.

Compared to the Ponderosa down the street, I would give them all 5 stars. Good variety, grillmaster willing to serve me med-rare steak spot on. Tasty baked goods, fresh and plentiful salad fixings. Solid american foods like fried chicken, green beans (cooked with onions and pork products slightly salty as it should be), real mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, etc... Even the mac-n-cheese is that kind of weird homestyle not fancy restaurant dress up style. Golden Corral's in TX and PA I have been too are even bigger in selection...

While I respect the reviewer that felt this was a "better buffet", I'm rating this as a one-star. When we visited, it set a new low for Golden Corral. I'd rather eat at an Old Country Buffet than this Golden Corral. The layout was atrocious, the food was mostly terrible, and the service was only so-so. This isn't what we've come to expect at a Golden Corral. In their defense, we ate at a few other buffet places in the area as well, and the quality was of a similar poor level. Perhaps it is just that these places are poorly maintained in the Disney off season. Or perhaps they're just poorly maintained year round, because they know that people aren't going to have a lot of options. I don't really know. Either way, it wasn't worth it, and that's unfortunate.

I admit it: I went to the Golden Corral.... and I liked it. I ate a crazy amount of food - from eggs and grits to a rather large fudgy cupcake - and everything in between, for less than $10. This particular Corral is clean and well-run. I think that as far as buffets go, I definitely lucked out.

This was one of our last meals in Orlando this time around. The breakfast buffet was great. It is a bit pricey though, for a breakfast buffet. They had a ton of items available, but nothing really stood out. All around, it is slightly above average food. Nothing great, but nothing bad.

They say that this is a "model restaurant." A "model restaurant" indeed. There's nothing like going to a Florida buffet. There, you're able to see what you expect of Florida: tourists and octogenarians. The "Golden" Corral definitely did not disappoint. Can't say much about the food. It was buffet food. As a general rule, I don't think I can give buffets higher than three stars --- even though the ambiance of this place demanded higher. For those of you who are tourists, the exit of the buffet leads you directly into a gift shop (reminiscent of Space Mountain at Disneyland). There's nothing like gorging yourself on pasty Mac 'n' Cheese and then being able to head next door to buy a FBI-Female Body Inspector shirt (whoever thought up this priceless joke is truly rolling in money). The service was excellent. The waitress looked at me and asked me whether I'd like coffee. I politely declined. She replied, "Too young to drink coffee, sweetie?" Indeed. Too young indeed. Kissimmee. It's the place to be.

I'm a fan of Golden corral! We ate here during our stay in Florida. It was convenient and not too busy. I was expecting it to be busier because of the location and time, but I'm thinking tourists wanted to try restaurants that are not found in their hometown and skipped this place. The only line was to get in. It's a fairly big place so I wasn't afraid of bumping into people with my plate of food. There was a large selection of food, and the hot foods were pretty good! Cold foods ie salad and fruits..not so much. they were kind of dried up. Other than that, I enjoyed their soup, chicken, beef, and veggies. Much better than old country buffet lol.

Have the fried chicken.

Lakiya T.
Variety of different foods so if something doesn't satiate your taste buds more than likely you will still leave full. The salad bar is ok. Pickles tasted weird like old. I don't like that the pre-made salad bowls are drenched in dressing (I like to pour my own). BBQ chicken thighs were fatty. Fried okra is decent. Bourbon chicken & baked sweet potato saved my life. Service was bleh. I had to ask for straws twice. It took forever for her to take our empty plates to make room on our table. Practically cleaned our own tables. Overall decent experience if your hungry, want something fast & cheap.

Golden Corral is one of the two buffets we tried while on vacation. This is your typical buffet with your normal fixings like Home Town Buffet. I would say the food is a step up from Home Town. They have a decent selection of food. The two items worth getting are the roast beef and the mac and cheese. The mac and cheese isn't salty at all. It had good flavor. They also have a good selection of desserts as well. Carmen, our waitress supplied us with our sweet tea all night long. I was disappointed by the appearance of the restaurant. It looked very dirty and old. It made the restaurant a bit unsanitary to eat. The place was really loud and made it hard to talk to my friends. I would eat there again if the location is cleaner and more presentable. ** If you show your receipt to the gift store next door you get a secret prize!

One of the more touristy places to eat on 192. Well it does have a gift shop connected to it so kind of a forgone conclusion of that. As far as the food it's ok. At least it's kept stocked with food since the demand is very high. The variety is your typical buffet nothing mind blowing. The cleanliness isn't always the best. Think the staff gets over whelmed at times with the amount of people that cycle thru here. Bathrooms at times resemble a gas stations. Just wish when you leave you didn't get hit up by the annoying ticket salesmen.

No, this is not my first choice for a meal, however my kids love it and I know there is always something at GC they will eat. For me, I like the Bourbon Chicken, Fried Chicken, Chicken & Pastry and Rice Krispy Treats dipped in the chocolate fountain. As for price, I feel it is a tad high, however with that said there is always a crowd at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Pretty disappointed with this location. Price was much higher than other locations we've been to. Selection didn't seem as large. (No green bean casserole). Overall quality of food was poor compared to other Golden Corrals. Majority of the vegies were overcooked. Tried a steak, but it was sinewy and tough. People were always waiting on pizza. Salad bar was very limited. Restaurant itself was rather dark and a bit dirty. Quite a bit of food on the floor. Also, there were tons of small kids there that were at the buffet by themselves. Never saw an employee say anything. Mixing serving utensils amongst different food items. Hanging over the food. And literally playing in and with the chocolate fountain. With all the restaurant choices in the area, I suggest trying something else.

Do yourselves a favor and just pass this by for breakfast. While the variety is good, the quality is extremely disappointing. The bacon is overdone to the point where it could be used for shoe leather and the french toast I had was actually hard on one side. Plus, this is the second time we have come here and the juice machine had issues. Because of a complaint I had lodged after our first visit, the Golden Corral corporate office kindly sent me a couple of free passes to give them another chance. When we presented these coupons to the cashier during our second visit, both she and the manager seemed to cop an attitude and kept asking us where we got the passes from. Made us feel like we were trying to pull a scam or something on them. Needless to say, we have given them two chances. Will NOT be returning.

Cleaner than other golden corrals but I'd have to say service was horrible. Our server was nice but it's so hard to get their attention. So busy doing all kinds of other things when the restaurant isn't even half full. Yes, they are staying busy but at least make sure we're okay every 20 min or so? Ran out of drink and my son did too. We didn't see our server not even once until 30 min after eating.

This is one of the better buffets I've been to. I'll admit I'm a fan of buffets but like anything, some are much better than others, whether you are a fan or not. I judge a buffet on two main things, first, do I like the majority of the food and is it pretty good, and second, how much of the stuff is actually really bad? At this particular buffet I liked everything I ate and nothing was foul. That says a lot. Not everything was really great though. For example a couple dishes were very very similar. Meatloaf, meatballs, salsbury steak, el samo the same same. Each was good, but not much difference between the three. Service was outstanding but they really aren't doing much... they bring you plates and refill your drinks. This is the only non-Disney buffet I've tried since moving here so I don't have much to compare it to, but it more than met my expectations and I'll be going again. BTW, you can often find coupons that will not a couple bucks off the price. It was $45 for three of us to eat which isn't bad, but is a bit more than the average buffet.

hey guys.. went to florida on 10/25 for a girl-cation and one of the first stop was to the golen corral which was a few blocks away (walking distance). we made it in time for the lunch and it came up to approximately $11. the food was alright, the last one i went to was in jersey. comparing them both, the jersey location was better. for some reason the quality of food was better, they had a carving station (perhaps its available during dinner hours only) and the mac and cheese was great. but i have to say that the fried chicken in florida was delightful..it was crispy, juicy and flavorful. overall, the place was good, great for families.

Breakfast buffet wasn't very impressive at all. Eggs were overcooked and drying out fast, cinnamin buns were hard and overcooked as well. Hash browns and potato lyonnaise were good. French toast was hard and difficult to cut.
(2)
Im not normally a fan of buffets but this one was wonderful. There was so much choice and a lot was cooked to order in fromt of you. Everything from steak to chicken to pasta to seafood to vegetables to different types of potatoes. Loads of desserts to choose from. The staff are friendy and quick to clear and the prices are fantastic.

Love the steak. Just wish they wouldn't allow someone to order 10 pieces, leave and they come back in the beginning of the line. Took way to long. Seconds took no time at all. Great dessert selection.

I rarely ever, ever eat at buffets, unless in Las Vegas in the big casinos. With that said, we decided to visit Orlando for the week to take our kids to Seaworld and for the kids to spend time with their grand parents. We ate here for Thanksgiving day this year with our family, seeing we were not at home to cook. The line was long, as it would be expected. Our server (I believe Russian or Eastern European) was great and very accommodating, so I put $20 in his top pocket and he took good care of our party of 6. The food was okay, but some was over cooked. I asked for a piece of mid-rare steak from the cook station and the piece I was given was mid-well to well. Needless to say, it was dry/tough. My wife ate some food and became sick shortly after, she returned the following day the the manager refunded her portion of the bill, which was very nice of him. The service was five stars and the food was about a two. So I'd give this place roughly 3.5 stars.

Came here for a lot of steak. A lot of steak I got. We came here and there was a huge line nearly going out the door. We only waited 12 minutes to buy our food. The cashier was really cool. We sat down and it was time to over indulge. The steaks were really good. I had some fried rice which I mixed in a little of their taco meat, it turned out awesome. I also had their teriyaki wings. Real surprise..... very good. The best part of our meal was the waiter. That guy was on point and with endless smile. This place was packed with people and our section had a group from New Jersey, 4 adults and a 20 kids. This guy was taking care of them and us and another 5 tables. He rocked it out. Over all, for a buffet great experience.

As a tourist from Jersey pretty good food. Kids under 3 eat for free! Our bill was only 35 bucks including soft drinks. They have a big variety of fresh veggies meats and desserts. Wanted to see more seafood crab legs etc. which I was kind of expecting. Steaks are made to order and your choice of how u would like it cooked that's a plus! Again nothing fancy but Above average would give 3.5 if there was an option.

I don't have much to say about this place. The choices of food was good but the quality of it was disappointing. We went for dinner and I barley ate anything because you could tell the food has been sitting out for a while. The fruits were stale and looked like it barely has been replaced at all. For the price we paid for each person, I will not come back. Not worth it.

Being from NYC, we always see commericals for chain restaurants for places no where near us! Oh the torture. I've never had Golden Corral and never wanted to venture out to Jersey to get some so when I came to Orlando this was on my bucket list. (Yeah I know, I love food sigh) This location was pretty packed. It was about $33 in total for 2 people. You take your receipt, leave in on the table. Go grab a plate and make your way around the buffet. The first thing I grabbed was the friend chicken. Very good! Mac and cheese, some mash w/ gravy, wings, shrimp, enchiladas and I cant remember what else. I had two plates and was STUFFED. I sat down trying to pace myself for dessert. They had a chocolate fountain and chocolate cake, carrot cake etc.. All of the food is pretty average. Nothing OMG but I did think it was worth the trip. The guy getting us our drinks seemed to be the hardest working guy in the place plus he was really friendly. He even helped me take my instagram pic of the chocolate fountain...I assume he knows im serious about my photography ;) lol This location is connected to a souvenir shop right next door, So its good to take a walk around there after you just stuffed your face.

This is a buffet and probably the best buffet that i've ever been to! The food isn't michilin starred quality but for a buffet, it's delicious. They have soo many options to choose from including seafood and steak (unlimited) which for the price you cant beat. Servers are friendly. There is always a line when coming here so don't expect to just come and sit down right away. It's definitely worth the wait!

I've never been to a Golden Corral before since there aren't many in CA, but I have always seen the advertisments on TV. So while in FL, we decided to give the breakfast buffet a try. They had sooo much stuff. The bread items were particularly delicious, you must try the yeast rolls with honey butter! They had pretty much everything you could possibly want in an American breakfast, even steak, fried chicken, and tacos. All of the food was fresh and warm. Pretty good for a buffet.

Worst Golden Corral i've ever been to.Puke all over the bathroom. Water in the bathroom even turned to cold totally scalded my little boys hands. We didn't have anyone come to our table until we were almost done.

Being from San Diego, CA we see these amazing commercials for Golden Corral all the time. This is the first time I've seen one let alone 3 within a 10 mile stretch on the same street/hwy/fwy. So I had to stop by and try it out. Food: Looks better on TV. I must give it up to the Marketing team for making these mouth watering commercials, because I was lead to believe that I can have what I saw. Big let down. Granted there was a guy asking how they wanted their steaks cooked and slapped a handful of steak on the grill. I said medium and about 7 minutes later I got a decent sized grilled steak on my plate. The steak is definitely on the lower end of the meat selection of cuts and was fairly tough to bite into even when it was cooked with a little pink in the middle. As for the rest of the food it was just ok for being a buffet. Service: The people bussing the table were cool. They'll take your plates when you're done. However, I would question the cleanliness of the place. The carpets smell gives the place character and when a hostess has to pull a chair from another table to add to another table blocking the walkway it defines the place. Drinks: They an assortment of fountain drinks. Overall: I was sadly disappointed. I was hoping that it would be like Hometown Buffet or better, but it was worst. The food was edible, but nothing stood out to me. So I wouldn't really recommend the place when there are tons of other restaurants in this area. Miller's across the street is way better for about $3-4 more per person/entree.

All I can say is wow this was the worst place I've ever gone to. Just don't do it!! The place is small and and all the different foods where crap together. The commercial doesn't look anything like this place. It sucks. And the waiter was a pervert. He looked like pewee Herman. Should have just went to McDonald's.

I can't believe I am reviewing a Golden Corral. This is probably one of the lower quality buffet restaurants in the area. The food is bland and it's a struggle to find anything healthy. The salad bar was full of "saladish" items like pepperonis and banana pepper rings. Everything else is covered in sauce, which you think would be full of sodium and tasty but it is not. The real kicker is that you may have someone come up to your table and ask you to move because she was there right before you and lost a tooth, so she needs to see if it's on the floor. Personally, I notice immediately when my teeth fall out but I guess we aren't all so sensitive. When my kid dropped her cotton candy on the floor and picked it up and continued to eat it, I couldn't even tell her to stop. I felt like that was just part of the whole GC experience. Also, she was cracked out from the sugar high and I was afraid of her wrath should she have to wait 5 seconds for clean cotton candy. The next time your family from NYC comes down and is excited about eating at all of the chain restaurants that they see commercials for on TV, please direct them to one of the 1000 other chain options on the strip.

Large breakfast buffet with big variety of choices. Made to order omelets. Big plus that beverages are included in the breakfast price. Other places may advertise a cheaper buffet but then hit you with the cost of drinks. Good service - especially Gamal.

There was nothing intrinsically bad with the food, it was all just very average. This place is a chain so what I say can't really speak to this individual place. That said, I would not prefer to eat here again; it's not my food. You sure can eat A LOT of food here given that it's an all-you-can-eat buffet but you're sacrificing quality for quantity. They do have a good variety in foods from Chinese to Mexican, to Italian, to American steak & pot-roast, the salad bar is well stocked with a wide variety of options but none of the many foods I tried really seemed to have great flavor. The sesame chicken, Cajun chicken, steak, mac-n-cheese, seafood salad, and so much more, all had a very basic and average taste. There was nothing that I had that I can say one should stay away from but if you're looking to eat healthy & save calories, there's no obvious options for that other than the salad bar but then you would just be wasting your money here. Finally, I have to note that the plates, bowls, and silverware are all the exact same style-set that my college uses in its freshmen cafeteria, not cool. Finally, finally, the dessert section here is 4-star quality! (Except for the ice-cream, that would be 3 stars. The soft serve isn't so creamy and more icey.) There are good pies, cakes, puddings, and even a chocolate fountain where you can get unlimited chocolate dipped strawberries, rice-crispy treats, and if you're creative, ice-cream cones!

So after my nightmare experience at the Golden Corral down the street, I wrote the restaurant chain to let them know of my disappointment. They actually asked me to come back and I chose to dine at this restaurant. I can say that this restaurant was very well run and you could tell that the employees cared about creating a quality product. The manager Phillipe was nothing but nice and one of the most personable people I have met. The on-stage cook was great and cooked me tilapia made to order along with steak. It tasted amazing as did the rest of the food. The food area was nice and tidy and a woman even came and swept beside me as she didn't want the food to get on my shoes. How nice and proactive! I would highly recommend a visit to this location if you are looking for a buffet experience and will be returning soon!

(4)Lakiya T.

Great chocolate fountain. Good food, fast.

some people prefer quantity over quality and im not to judge them ... i should just not listen to them. to my friends who suggested and took me to this place and will potentially never read this review. you guys blow.
(2)Michael K.
(3)Ryan F.
Do not eat here unless you like fighting crowds and love to eat endless amounts of low quality food. Dirty, no, filthy.
(1)Juan N.
Been in florida for a week now and I just tried breakfast here not to bad for 18 bucks for 2. Morning service sucks but dinner service is much better if you looking for a place to eat cheap then this is it.
(3)Martin R.
Overall the service is good. I have nothing to complain about. And the server *ROMAN* is an excellent server. I'll be back.
(4)Scott P.
(3)Kathy J.

(1)Evgeni T.
Good variety and quality. This location is very busy thou. Been there 3 times, always huge line. Couldn't get in for breakfast
(3)Amy T.
(3)Gary T.

(3)Damiana D.
I will simply drive by next time. Not a good place to eat.
(1)Rajah K.
Breakfast buffet wasn't very impressive at all. Eggs were overcooked and drying out fast, cinnamin buns were hard and overcooked as well. Hash browns and potato lyonnaise were good. French toast was hard and difficult to cut.
(2)Im not normally a fan of buffets but this one was wonderful. There was so much choice and a lot was cooked to order in fromt of you. Everything from steak to chicken to pasta to seafood to vegetables to different types of potatoes. Loads of desserts to choose from. The staff are friendy and quick to clear and the prices are fantastic.
(5)Marc P.
Love the steak. Just wish they wouldn't allow someone to order 10 pieces, leave and they come back in the beginning of the line. Took way to long. Seconds took no time at all. Great dessert selection.
(4)Janos J.

(3)Mario F.
(3)Alisa M.

(3)Nicole C.
(4)HelloKitty L.
(4)Jennifer G.

(2)Rich K.
Very good food! We were so hungry and this place delivered to our appetites. So many choices you just can't go wrong. Enjoy!!!
(5)Sheila W.
Food is great. Steaks cooked perfectly. Excellent selection of everything. Our "go to" place when e everyone wants something different. Reasonably priced. No way you can leave hungry.
(4)Victor T.
All I can say is wow this was the worst place I've ever gone to. Just don't do it!! The place is small and and all the different foods where crap together. The commercial doesn't look anything like this place. It sucks. And the waiter was a pervert. He looked like pewee Herman. Should have just went to McDonald's.
(1)Brooke H.
(1)Chang L.
It's a very good choice here! Convenient, cheap, waitresses are very very nice people, I love their service, I love the spring fountain!!!
(5)Abeni F.
Staff was friendly. Until you get to the steak guy and we'll instead of asking what would I like he shouted TALK T O ME. LOL they had a lot of different foods. I liked it.
(4)Sue W.
Large breakfast buffet with big variety of choices. Made to order omelets. Big plus that beverages are included in the breakfast price. Other places may advertise a cheaper buffet but then hit you with the cost of drinks. Good service - especially Gamal.
(4)Steven C.
(3)Cory P.
Clean and fresh. Prices are higher but The food and restaurant are again clean and fresh. It's worth it.
(5)Jane L.
I went here last month during a 2 day stay at summer bay resort. Being from California and not having many of these around I was excited. I personally thought the food was good (maybe because I haven't ate all day) but overall the service was good and it was clean.
(4)Ryan N.
