This is one of the best if not the best German restaurants I've eaten at in Florida. I've eaten at Hollenbach in Sanford and I think the food is better here. The owner greeted us warmly and informed us about the beer wine and food. The staff was friendly, fun, and attentive. We will return frequently as the prices were also reasonable. The location is convenient and is also a very clean restaurant. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would.

This place was amazing . Good portions, amazing quality of the food, and even better beer . I wouldn't have said I was a fan of german cuisine at all but this place changed my mind . They are incredibly hospitable and knowledgable . Also its a gem among the other garbage chain restaurants that define the area its located in . I will be back and I suggest anyone who is ever in the area should treat themselves and stop by .

Great place! Visiting from out of town and decided to give this local place a try. The experience was as much fun as the food. The owner was personable and visited our table several times throughout the meal. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the beers on tap and made recommendations which were fabulous. The food was delicious as was the dessert. We will return again if ever in the area! The address that yelp had listed was wrong so be sure to check prior to driving all over.

All you have to do is go once and you will be hooked. Everything was PERFECT!!! Now I can usually find something wrong with anything but not at this place. This is our new spot.

This place is fabulous I had the spicy bratwurst sandwich and I was so pleased! I also had a beer that was delicious (can't remember the name) and my friends had the apple wine which was excellent. This is a true hidden gem

Great place. Owner is Mike and he was friendly and informative about the menu and history. I had the bratwurst plate with sauerkraut and it was great. Would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates great food and a great dining experience.

the most authentic German food I have eaten in Orlando since my German wife left me! Delicious. and addictive

The waitress forewarned us the wait may be long due to hand crafting the food for each order. It really wasn"t a long wait at all. The food was fantastic. The owner stopped by our table to explain how everything was made. We had the goulash to start, then I got the 3 sausage platter. Barb had the weiner schnitzel. Best German food I've ever had

This place was fantastic! My family and I walked in and the aromas immediately had us remembering being in the kitchen with our Oma in Germany. The service was great and friendly. The owner was awesome and funny and the food and beer are fantastic and best of all, traditional & authentic! It's a bit hidden behind the mini golf on 192 in Formosa Gardens, but it's a gem worth finding. Will definitely return!

I have been here about 5 times since they opened earlier this year. Every time i have been the service had been great. The owners are very friendly and accommodating to whatever event guests are there. One time i took a date there and they made a special dessert for us. she also loved this place. The food is delicious. If you need a recommendation ask. I wish i could post all the pictures I've had there but they are on their facebook page. The beer is also very good. Again ask and they will see what matches your taste or what is most popular. German food was foreign to me before going to this place but since i have been going it leaves me craving for more each time.

I recently visited Orlando on a family vacation. Finding this restaurant was the best thing that happened. Outstanding authentic German food, great atmosphere, wonderful service. We visited twice while we were there and I will definitely return every time I visit again. They make all of their food fresh on site. They also had an excellent selection of German beverages. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. Have the Schnitzel! Bear in mind I'd never really eaten German food.... Consider me impressed!!

We came to this restaurant with a large party for a business dinner after checking it out on Yelp. Our first sign of trouble was when our server came to the table and everyone at our table unanimously felt she was under the influence of something. One of us tried to order bratwurst and that wasn't available because "the butcher was sick". Ok then. Our experience continued down this path - one of our dinners was forgotten, then the cook had to leave because she burnt her hand. At one point a gentleman, who we took as the owner came out to our table, showed us that our server's dress was unzipped and then zipped it up at our table. The food was good, the beer was good, but the experience was, to say the least, awkward and honestly rather creepy.

On route 192 among mile after mile of mediocre chain restaurants, after erroneous driving directions that took us 10 miles away, close to Orange Lake Resort near mile marker 4 we found Germans Restaurant. Tucked away from the highway in a shopping center, once we found this little gem, we were glad we persisted in our search. The owner Michael greeted us and told us how everything was made fresh in house, down to the ketchup. We were offered samples of German beer so we could be sure that we would like our choice before ordering a full mug. The menu offered a variety of schnitzel entrees as well as sauerbraten, wursts and goulash with homemade spaetzel and savory red cabbage. We ordered sauerbraten and schnitzel with mushrooms that we enjoyed. Make sure to save room for dessert. We shared a delightful and tasty crepe with Caramelized sugar, applesauce and chocolate. This is a great little spot.

Enjoyed a fantastic meal with my family on a recent trip to Disney.(Last week of October) Michael was awesome. Let me sample a few beers to make sure I got what I wanted from a flavor profile. We tried something from every part of the menu including desert. Everything was excellent. Service was good and the restaurant was very clean. My son and daughter had a great time! I will go back in a heartbeat.

An absolutely outstanding restaurant. Very very friendly staff and the home made German food was delicious. Nice to finally find a restaurant were the food is made by the owners instead of fabric made. Had some trouble finding the location of the restaurant, but the ride and search was more than worth it! If you are looking for a small restaurant were originally German food is served, than that's the place to go!

Germans has been on my bucket list for a while. The hubby and I come down to Orlando at this time each year from Wisconsin, and I've been watching the consistently solid reviews since this place opened. We should probably have been concerned that we were the ONLY patrons in the dining room for the duration of our meal--with the exception of a four-top that beat a hasty retreat after looking over the menu. Disappointment ensued. We ordered the pretzel to start: nothing to write home about there. My husband had a schnitzel that was on special, with mustard, cheese, and onions sautéed in a beer sauce. It came with fried potatoes. The schnitzel was completely lacking in crispness, as were the potatoes, which were not especially hot. My husband wondered (more than once) if the meal had simply been reheated in a microwave. I ordered the Zuercher Geschnetzeltes: sliced beef and mushrooms in a cream-based sauce with white wine over spaetzle. The sauce was good enough, but the meat was tough and not very flavorful. The two saving graces (earning a 3-star review rather than a 2) were the beer, and the friendly, knowledgeable server. I will not be a repeat customer.

Great authentic German food. We did reservations through Yelp and the owner, Mike greeted us and had a table just for our group. They brought various samples of beer for us to try as well as being offered suggestions on great German beers. We started with the pretzel and it was very authentic. It could have been warmer but it was not doughy and instead very flavorful with wonderful cheese combination smeared inside the pretzel. There wasn't a bit left. Very good. We all tried something different from the Hunters Schnitzel covered in a brown mushroom gravy over potatoes to Gulasch to the Bratwurst plate. The Schnitzel was cooked to perfection and was wafer thin and very tender. I didn't even need a knife to cut it. Mike came to check on us several times and our server was fantastic. This is a great little, family owned restaurants hidden between the big chains. Worth the effort to find it and enjoy some great food. We'll be back.

Great little German restaurant. The staff is unbelievable. Friendliest people we have met thus far in Florida. The beer selection is wonderful and the food is tasty and fresh. Great food and better atmosphere. We can't wait to return. Keep up the great work guys.

Excellent and Authentic German Restaurant. Highly suggest! Beer: Authentic selection of "real" German beers. Hefe Weizens, Pilsners, Darks, and Oktoberfests......you cannot go wrong. Best German beers in town!!! All beers are bottled and poured into a glass specific to that beer and brand. VERY nice touch. FYI!!! The owner is very generous and will allow you to sample a beer. BE AWARE this sample will taste flat because it is coming from a pre-opened bottle. Once you get your beer of choice it will be fresh and full of life with a much better/crisper flavor. Apps: We started with the homemade German pretzel and it comes with a homemade cream cheese on it. Addicting and deliicious! Owners said it was a family recipe. Dinner: My wife had the Hunters Schnitzel and has not stopped talking about it for 3 days. The pork tenderloin was perfectly breaded and cooked. Came with a mushroom/marsala type sauce. I sampled it and it was amazing. Highly suggest ordering this meal. Also came with roasted red potatoes and a German pasta salad. I had the Sauerbraten (Bavarian Pot Roast). Generous portion and the meat was delicious. Very sweet gravy, tender meat and comes with a German Potato Dumpling. I subbed out red cabbage for Sauerkraut and glad I did! Homemade, warm, fresh, and full of flavor. Staff: Owners are wonderful and there on hand all day. We felt welcomed and appreciated. Great staff all around and nice people. They will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy yourself and explain/help you with menu/drink selection. Atmosphere: Upon walking in when they are not busy it has a deli feel to it. Not much to make you say, wow, this place is going to be special. However once it fills up and gets to rush hour the atmosphere comes alive and the beer / food end up doing the talking anyway. Price: Price was a little higher than I originally expected, however with the quality of the beer selection, the correct beer glasses, and authentic food I am good with it.

We just love coming here. Even the kids love the food, which is saying something. Everything is fresh, not frozen. The homemade sauerkraut is my favorite. Yum! The bratwurst cannot be beat. I just wished we lived closer

Just finished up dinner there with the family. All I can say is wonderful. The owner, Michael and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice German beer selection. All the food is made from scratch and authentic German. Loved everything from the pretzel appetizer to the schnitzel and finally both desserts. The place is a gem and a can't skip if you are in the area or anywhere close by.

Wanted to check this place out over the rave reviews but were a bit disappointed on our visit. A few items that we wanted to try on the menu weren't available... I mean how can you not have bratwurst :( it was really sad. To their defense they did say they had made it in-house but the man that did it was 85 years old and was unable to continue working and looking for a replacement. It's a small establishment with some interesting decor. They do try to be kid friendly, our server came by numerous times giving out random toys to keep them occupied. We ordered the pretzel for an appetizer which had a cream cheese onion type spread in the middle. I think it would of been more enjoyable if the pretzel was hot and the spread was on the side rather than being placed in between. For a main dish I ordered the spicy schnitzel which I forgot to take a pic of but it came on top of fries with a red sauce. It wasn't really spicy but she did ask for my level of heat, I guess I should of picked hot. Overall it was pretty good. My husband ordered a cordon blue that came with potatoes and veggies. I did catch a picture of that. Not sure I'd visit again, but glad to try it out anyway.

Don't let the strip mall location and at first glance cheap interior fool you. This is the real deal. My partner had the JÄGERSCHNITZEL, I went for the ZÜRCHER GESCHNETZELTES and both were beyond our expectations. Pronouncing the latter gave away my origin and I was tended to in German for the rest of the evening. We received wonderful service and having had a few samples of German liquid food & a spot on version of Kaiserschmarrn, we were pleasantly surprised by a more than fair check. Recommended!

The food was extraordinary, the staff was incredible, overall we had an outstanding experience. We were curious how after 21 reviews, this place had a solid 5 stars, and after visiting, we understand why. It's small, but comfortable, great authentic German food, a very good beer selection, but the staff is what makes this place shine, friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable of the food and menu.

Very authentic good german food. The sauerbraten and weinerschnitzel especially were delicious. The German ketchup is amazing. Pick a dessert. Any dessert it will be amazing. The beer selection is wonderful. The one thing I will say is this they were out of Riesling which I found surprising. Also they do run out of some specialties from time to time. Good made from scratch food at very reasonable prices.

I selected Germans based on the great Yelp reviews as well as the need to escape all of the chain restaurants in the area. I had a little trouble finding it so just a note - it's located behind FRIDAYS in a building that has multiple businesses, one of which is the UPS store. From the minute you sit down you can tell that the owner and staff take a tremendous amount of pride in the authenticity of everything they are serving. From their extensive list of authentic German beers, to the German butcher that makes everything fresh to order, they truly want to bring Germany to you! We started out with the finest cold plate appetizer which is an assortment of meats and cheeses. It was plenty to share for 6 people! For my entree I had the zuercher geschnetzeltes which was quite tasty! They serve the meat separate from the pasta, and you mix them together yourself. My boyfriend had the hunters schnitzel which he thought was very delicious. The owner was very interactive with our table, and even comped a beer that we liked but didn't love! It was clear he strongly believed in great customer service. I would highly recommend checking out Germans Restaurant if you are up for some delicious German food and great customer service!

Such a great find! We were over the usual chains and saw this and just had to give it a try! They weren't packed so we had a lot of attention from our waitress. She was knowledgable about their respectable beer list and all the items on the menu. I cannot speak to the food's true authenticity, but I cleaned my plate. I had the "Old Bavarian Schnitzel" special and could've eaten a whole second plate. The entrees are a little pricy but the taste is so worth it. Can't wait to come back and try their scratch desserts.

Excellent beers and goulash - bread too I tried the Heaven in a cup desert - highly recommended! Was greeted by the owner and chef excellent if you want to go out have a nice meal and feel good that you are not giving your money for a chain where you can have the same ole same ole .... This is a great place!

A wonderful German restaurant!!!! This place is German owned and they make everything homemade (even the ketchup)!! The service was wonderful!!! My 7 year old ordered the schnitzel of gnoms ( Wiener schnitzel and French fry ) lets just say I had to stop him from licking the plate!!!LOL!! I had the The Hunter schnitzel (Wiener schnitzel potatoes and mushrooms) it was wonderful!! Hubby had the sauerbraten and he was very happy with it!!! Our friend who joined us had the zuercher geschnetzeltes (beef meat in a creamy white wine sauce and mushrooms) she said yummy!!! We will be back many times!!!! PS. Be sure to try the grapefruit beer. It was great!!!

Yes, 5 stars. This place is unbelievable.... Some of you may remember this as the old Dairy Queen tucked away in the back of 192 near the Winn Dixie. I have to say it has made a huge transformation and very welcomed in the Kissimmee/Celebration area. We came here for lunch on a Saturday while looking for new placed to eat in the area. We were greeted by Mike the owner and decided to sit near the TV for one of the World Cup games. Tabby, our waitress was also great. She gave us a breakdown of the pretty decent selection of German beers that they carry. See my pic of the beer board for more information. I decided to go with the sausage special which came with three different types of sausage and sauerkraut. My wife ordered the spicy schnitzel. While not spicy, it was very tasty. She ordered the red cabbage as a side with hers and it was also delicious. Everything here is made from scratch..yes, everything. This is breath of fresh and and I believe better than the Willow Tree in Sanford and much much closer. I can't wait to go back and try some of the excellent authentic menu items.

We had a hankering for European food, so we found Germans on Yelp, and it was only a few miles away. My only complaint is that it has been relegated to a strip mall on 192, hidden by lots of chain restaurants and gift shops. They deserve a better location, and I suspect that would help their business too. The food was excellent and authentic, the beer was fantastic and the deserts were mind blowing! A big shout out to our server Jessica who was so helpful and courteous to our 4 year old, even getting her to try the schnitzel, when I had failed to! Can't wait for Oktoberfest!

This place was excellent, and most of the time I am not fired up about bland German cuisine, so that is high praise. The food was excellent. Had the spicy spice schnitzel and it had the right kick and flavor to change my mind. Wait staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. Definite recommend.

My boyfriend said it best...we felt like we were catfished into going to this restaurant. We found out about it on yelp and decided to go based on reviews - I do not understand the rave reviews. We've had better German food in town. I mean, the food was okay. Nothing wonderfully fantastic. Our server gave us a run down of the menu and we ordered a pretzel and were told they were out. Okay then... Neither one of us were wow'd with our main meals. It seemed like our server checked yelp reviews quite often as we over heard her telling two other tables about how great their reviews were. After eating there and going through the other reviews it seemed like they were giving people talking points for their reviews. We are there a few weeks ago and I've been sitting on writing a review, but I can't let everyone think this place is 5 stars. The owner did come out after we ate to check on things and he talked to other tables for a while (there were only three full tables at the time.) Any time we want German food we'll be making the drive across town.

2.5-3 stars Erdibger beer. S. Pretzel (has 3 types of cheese with cream cheese), sauerbraten (brined for 3 days) Cute small restaurant with a lady in outfit. Not many customers at the time since it was off peak hours. Fairly new restaurant with friendly service however the sauerbraten is a bit pricey with small portion. Everything was homemade---down to the ketchup. Would probably not come back because nothing stood out for me.

After reading many positive reviews of this restaurant, our family gave it a try. Before I start, let me explain the fact that we are very well versed in authenticity and taste expectation of German food. My MIL is German. With that said, I was far from impressed. My husband, my son, and myself got the Hunter's Schnitzel. The gravy was very thin and bland. The mushrooms where near to raw (expected sauteed, at the least). The menu stated it came with German noodle salad. It did not. I came with the cheaper schnitzel's "garden" salad with vinaigrette dressing. I hate vinaigrette, hence why I did not order the salad to begin with. Our daughter got the Schnitzel of Gnomes. It was a very nice portion for a child's meal, as big as the adults, actually. However, my daughter would not eat it, again it had zero taste. She did enjoy the homemade ketchup, just not on the schnitzel. The roasted potatoes did not have any German flair to them whatsoever. On the positive side, the beers we ordered were very cold an tasty. My son also enjoyed his German soda (free with the Yelp check in perk!) Also, there are many great reviews on here for the service. I do agree, to a point. However, sometimes too much is just that - too much. The waitress kept hanging around our table trying to talk to us. She even got her phone and was trying to show my husband things on her personal facebook. Not cool. The owner was super nice. He brought out my daughter a necklace and ring - which was a hit. Maybe we hit on a bad night. Maybe my expectations was too high due to the reviews here, regardless, we won't return probably.

I was very excited to hear about a new German restaurant opening up close to my house in Kissimmie off of route 192 at marker 4, hidden back behind a miniature golf place. Goodness knows we needed one, with the closet one being in Orlando or in Disney's Epcot Park, which both are lacking! When you first walk in it is cute with red and white checkered tablecloths, German signage and decorations, nothing fancy or special. But when you start to eat the food, you realize you will be coming back, and back and back! Wunderbar!! We started with appetizers of "Laura's original Obatzer Pretzel" with a homemade cream cheese made with camembert cheese, onions, butter, paprika powder and spices stuffed inside this huge Pretzel that was nothing like I ever experienced! I loved it so much I ordered one to go because I knew I would be craving it later! The other app was good too, it was the Roest bread which was a crispy roasted Weiss brot topped with sun dried tomatoes, rosemary, garlic and an alpine cheese melted on top which made it a savory starter with a zesty kick! The sauerbraten was authentic, fresh and brined for three days and was the best next to my dear German mothers!! They make everything from scratch, like their fresh tasty dumplings, red cabbage, schnitzle, and mostly everything else on their wonderful menu!! Unfortunately they were out of Apple strudel, but we were not disappointed in the dessert our witty, friendly waitress Jessica suggested, which was a kind of pancake all cut up and browned with cinnamon and sugar and apple sauce atop was off the flavor charts ! And don't forget they are a bierhouse as well with many beer selections to choose from! Also sample their apple wine that is light, served in a pitcher and accompanies your German cuisine perfectly! The owner Mike and his wife just came here from Frankfurt, Germany this past October and opened this great find! Mike was a very charming host and made us feel at home! His staff was very knowledgeable and also very eager to please and attentive! The only two negatives I can say is this place is a little tricky to find but worth it, so just use your GPS or smart phone and you'll find it. And they should be playing German music to make the ambiance complete. This place puts you on the flavor train to Germany and doesn't let you come back till you are filled to the gills with the best German cuisine in Florida! Sehr Gut!!!!!

Had dinner here while on vacation. Friendly service and good food. My husband and I both had the Sauerbraten that came with red cabbage and potato dumplings. A large selection of beer also, it's not cheap, but I would rather spend more money and not eat in the chain restaurants.

Stunningly authentic. I have German family and grew up eating this kind of food; it all comes in large portions made with fresh, quality ingredients. If you're not the most adventurous but still want to try something new, you can't go wrong with the Weiner Schnitzel. The owner is a friendly German man that's happy to discuss the food, Germany, and accommodate reservations; very small place, but definitely a gem! I absolutely plan on coming back, and bringing friends with me

My family and I are in Orlando from New York on vacation so we decided to try Germans. Everything was FANTASTIC from the informative and very pleasant waitress Jessica ..to the appetizers ..main course and dessert...and I don't want to forget the owner! The owner was personable ..funny..and very respectful to the patrons. The Resturant was clean a bit tight but still very very nice ..German Defoe and the beer list on a giant chalk board. The apps were great we had the pretzel with cream cheese ..unbelievable! My wife had spivey beef stew soup which was also great! We ordered a bunch of other apps to share because we were a party of 7..for dinner I had the goulash which was great and my wife had #3 on the menu "michaels" it was two schintizals and two pork cutlets breaded with ham and Swiss over a bed of French fries with there homemade ketchup ...I was jealous ! It was AMAZINGGGGGG!!! And now to desserts ..do yourself a favor and get the HEAVEN in a CUP!! Again everything was great! If my family and I are ever in Orlando again we will definitely be coming back to GERMANS!

Wonderful restaurant! Superb food and service. Very small so make reservations early (and often). This restaurant should be on everyone's "not to be missed places to eat." Everything here is made from scratch with love.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on a trip to Orlando. All home made. No gravy mix here. Schnitzel specials were delicious. Pretzel is very good. Beer list changes weekly and all brewed in Germany. Service staff is wonderful. Owner wants it to be and is authentic. New restaurant as of June 2015 with good plans to do it right. Evidence suggests it will be successful. Lecker, Lecker. Toll. Sehr gut. Will be back when in town!

I have been searching good german restaurants in the area, but there is none except downtown and Sanford. I found the Facebook of this restaurant accidentally, and decided to visit there and try. I visited there for lunch during the second World Cup game of Germany. The owner Michael is very nice and he welcome me at the door and recognize me because my comments on Facebook. The restaurant is nice simple but very german style. I ordered curry wurst and beer. And they are very good. I'll definitely visit there again for the dinner. Danke Schön :)

If you want great German food without the high prices, this is your place! The owner met me at the door and had my reservation (online) request set and met! The lunch menu was affordable, $5.50 for Bratwurst, and the portion was perfect! Our waitress was quite informed on the dishes, but admitted she was still learning the beers. I appreciated that and took my faith in her...I was glad I did! We stayed for the Germany/Ghana game, and the crowd was really into it! At the first goal, the owner handed out a small prize; it's those little things that make small business work. My only complaint is that our server did not ask me if I wanted one more beer before giving us the check. It happens, it's ok! Overall, YES! YES! YES! I will be going back without question!

My husband, my son and I just moved to town a few weeks ago and live down the street. We stopped in tonight, without reservations and every table filled, but the owner got us in anyways. We have been to Germany and I have got to say the food at this place was better by far. The owner was very fun, the staff attentive, and the food was amazing. Everything is made fresh and it shows. I love the atmosphere, quiet but fun. I will def be back many times, only with reservations next time. They are only open for a few hours a day and they have a big following. Definitely go. I don't understand the poor reviews, But to each their own.

Poor service and misrepresentations on the menu. I had genuine german pasta salad with Italian style pasta.

Had the Old Schnitzel and it was delicious! Everything's made fresh and it shows. Had a light Pilsner which complimented the dinner very well. The potatoes accompanying the schnitzel were soft and perfect. And the side salad was light and delicious. The dessert was a soft cake and it, too, was delicious. While from a quantity point of view, there could have been more, the flavours worked perfectly together and at the end of the meal, I was pleasantly full. The owner and waitress were very attentive and eager to ensure we had a good experience. I heartily recommend the Germans!

The service was great and the food was even better. Everything here is homemade, including the ketchup. The owner even made us a dessert on the house for being on our honeymoon. We would go back here again and again.

Just came back from dinner. I was raised on German food and this was it. Had a terrific bier, the Ludwig Konig Weissen... Hunters Schnitzel.... Owner was kind, friendly... on the ball. I ordered a side of German potato salad, which tasted terrific. My only comment would be that it be served warm... but that is just how I had it served to me as a child. I cannot wait to go back!!!

Stopped in after a day at Epcot (wanting some good German delicacies) came across this humble establishment so stopped in. First off we were warmly greeted by a beautiful and charming young lady named Jessica who told us the specials (food and drink wise) and pointed out some of her favorites as well. I went for some apple wine and got a delicious pretzel for my starter. Warm, cheesy and flavorful. For the entrée I had hunter's schnitzel with potatoes, mushrooms and brown gravy. Other than the mushrooms needing a little more salt, it was spot on. Nice crisp crust on the schnitzel, potatoes near perfectly cooked. The owner checked in several times to make sure the food was good and that we enjoyed our visit. I'll be coming back when I'm in the area again...well worth checking out!

We agree completely with Nick M. from Davenport. Everything he wrote is True. With the exception of the pretzel, the rest of the meal was, sigh, something in the tummy. I was raised in restaurants since childhood. Having served in the Navy, you can name the ethnic food and I've eaten it. I lived in S.F. for more than 10 years. A corucopia of gastronomic experiences. The main reason we tried this location is because it is nearest to home. Enough with the World Cup Clevage & soccer slide show already! Update it or turn it off. Also, only open 5 - 9 P.M. ?? Havung worked in restaurants, you have More than enough time to Properly gather, prepare, cook and serve the food while it's still hot. We're not coming back.

Highly disappointing. Being raised in Germany I had high expectations. However, they were thrown out the window when the sauerbraten that was supposed to be marinated for three days required a knife to cut...the process makes it fork tender. The sauce was ok at best, but the meat had no flavoring in it. The matzah balls were not cooked in chicken stock as it had no flavor...not even salt...and were mushy. The red cabbage was the saving grace of this overpriced dish with only two small pieces of sauerbraten. The Hunters schnitzel breading had no flavor or seasonings. The hunter gravy was bland. The fried potatoes were just that...fried potatoes with no seasoning. If you are going to use paprika as a seasoning, make sure it has flavor and not just a regular paprika. I have never been to a German restaurant, yet alone a German meal, that didn't include spaetzel as a side or even kartoffelsalat (standard warm potato salad). The waitress, and the owner, acted like they didn't know what i was talking about. The dressing on the salad that was served was nothing more than what you make out of a knorr packet. Sorry to be harsh, but for the prices charged, there should be flavor with it and one should not go away hungry from a German restaurant.

This place was fantastic! I'm a big fan of German food and this place truly delivers. We went after they had been on the news earlier in the day. Prices are decent and the quality of the food is outstanding! Everything is prepared fresh - even the ketchup and mustard. Good variety of German beers available. We'll be going back!

We decided to stop in during our last night of vacation after reading the reviews here on yelp and the food did not disappoint. Best German food since our families trip to Munich. Service staff was also very helpful and nice.

Delightful hospitality is the norm here apparently! I think we were visited by the entire staff as well as Michael, the owner. Beautifully authentic German menu including an extraordinary selection of desserts. This is much like visiting your German relatives in Frankfort for home cooked cuisine.

I had the great pleasure of having dinner tonight at Germans Restaurant & Bierhouse. Amid the noise of chain restaurants and tourist traps is Germans. I was greeted warmly at the door and shown to my seat. The beer and wines were listed on a chalkboard letting me know that they change their beers with the seasons and availability and a specials board. Although I am versed in many German beers, I let them explain their selection. 10+ options to choose from and prices ranging from $5 for a small to $7.50 for a large. The menu is not extensive but right to the point of the favorites like a variety of schnitzel, sauerbraten, and wurst. Of course I chose something off the specials board, the German Bratwurst plate with sauerkraut and German mustard. I substituted one of the brats for a chicken rosemary sausage. While waiting I had the pleasure of chatting with one of the owners. I instantly felt welcomed and her hospitality and friendliness was infectious. My food arrived in a very timely manner! It was visually appealing and the aroma was tremendous! The Bratwurst was spiced perfectly and with the accompaniment of the sauerkraut and spicy German mustard was perfect. The Chicken Rosemary Sausage had pleasant and mild flavor that was not overpowered by the rosemary. The sweet mustard was a great addition to the chicken and enhanced the flavor. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience. I promise I will be back, and I will be telling everyone I know!

This authentic German restaurant is a home away from home. Once you step foot inside you are family. The owners Mike and Laura have managed to bring Germany to Orlando!!! The food is not the only amazing part of this restaurant...from the selection of beers to the atmosphere brings it all together. Any review that is under five stars has a screw loose. This is a ten star place for friends, fun and food!! We love ever aspect of this bierhouse!!! Love Mike and Marilyn Keep it up!!! XoxoxoX.

It's a fairly small space, but it has big personality. Michael the owner and his staff are energetic and friendly and make you feel welcome immediately. Our waitress, Jessica, was knowledgeable and sweet, as well as being pretty, and she expertly guided us toward good menu choices for the evening. We enjoyed the delicious sauerbraten, the cold cuts plate, the goulash, the Kostrizer black beer, and two desserts--the Kaiserschmarn and plum dumpling. I think you'll find the food is expertly seasoned, not overstated. The sauerbraten was delicate and pleasantly understated, which was nice. The goulasch was real Hungarian style with large chunks of beef with a tomato-based sauce full of paprika. They were out of the sausages, sadly--the shipment was late from Detroit--but we were happy with what we got. No apfelstrudel, either. The portions are smaller in European restaurants, so expect that. The prices will be a little higher, too, but it's worth it. The decor is zany with entertainers' photos on the walls. Everything is made from scratch from the entrées down to the ketchup, and it shows. The food is fresh and delicious. Michael's wife, Laura, is the chefkoch who runs the whole operation. She came out and greeted us and asked how we liked our food. There is an impressive list of beers, many of the regular German brands you'd recognize, though I didn't see Spaten on the night we went. We usually zero in on the hellers and dunkels, whatever the brand. We had bad luck finding this place open a couple times: once in the summer the oven broke down and they couldn't open until a part arrived. Another time there were lunch hours posted online but they weren't open when we got there. The third, time, however, was the charm. It was worth the wait. I can't compare this place to the other German establishments in the Orlando area, but based on our experience, the food was good, the service was excellent, and we'd be glad to go back.
