India is the birth place of Chicken Tikka Masala and Curries. Indian foods are prepared with a blend of finely mixed spices quite popular across the region. The spices develop the rich taste in Indian food enough to boggle your mind. While most of the Indian population is Vegetarian, Indian food is great for people who are looking for vegan or vegetarian food option. If you are a Meat lover, don't get disappointed yet. Indian food also boasts of some popular non-vegetarian dishes too. Few examples are the famous Butter Chicken, Mutton Biryani and Tandoori Chicken are enough to satisfy your taste buds.

I ordered the Tandoori meat mix with, chicken beef, shrimp and sausage. Food is cooked in a clay oven and was very flavorful. I had them make mine extra spicy which still wasn't really spicy but it was good regardless. This place is kinda expensive $55 for three adults. The service was okay. They were completely dead when we got there. 4 stars because we had to ask for refills. Other than that it was fine. It's located about 10 mins away from Epcot Disney resort. The resort itself didn't have much to offer for me so we decided to off the resort and eat something else. If you're visiting Disney and want to try this place I would recommend it but just be careful when it comes to service it may be slow. Good luck! Enjoy

NOTE: this hotel is under new management since late 2014. We were looking for a different Indian restaurant and stumbled upon this place by accident. It was unusually quiet and empty at 8 pm on a Monday which looked odd. However, we decided to take a chance on this place. The owners mentioned that the place was empty because they do a lot of take out business in the evening. I would rate the food excellent, however the ambience could be better. I would also recommend the owners play music so that it's not so quiet in there. Five stars for food, but reducing one for ambience.

New restaurant. Service is slow. Seems as though the have limited resources in the kitchen so they work on one order at a time. Pros- tasty, variety Cons- oily, too much use of whole black peppers, does not accept Amex...corporate travellers will need another form of payment

They would not honor our certificate because they claimed to be under different ownership. However, they are still listed as active with the same name (the description even says "under new ownership") on the website that issued the certificate. This was especially perplexing to me as we were a party of four and, at 7:00 on a Friday night, the place was a dimly lit ghost town! We would have easily exceeded the certificate's amount by more than twice its value and they could have filled one of their empty tables. I love Indian food and this place is near our new digs. They could have had a happy repeat customer in me. My regular long-term business would have cost them a few dollars at the outset and, oh yeah, a little courtesy. There was none of that.

Fabulous food. Fair service even though they were not busy. Food is so good, well worth the five stars. Prices are very reasonable.

I had looked forward to eating here since my last trip to orlando because the first time I went the the food was reasonably priced and delicious. Now having gone back the food was mediocre to bad and very over priced. The buffet was 9.99. Now its 15.99 and they add 20% tip to for the one waiter there who does nothing but bring water. I cant recommend this place and I wont go back. I suggest you dont waste your time and money.

Had the buffet for $9.99 and the food was honestly very good. Loved the chutneys, chicken tikka, and the lentil soup. Naan was also great and unlimited. We finished the meal off with the ice cream buffet. I had a combo of the pistachio almond, rum raisin, and butter pecan, all were great especially the rum. Fruit and veggies were also at the buffet. Only downsides: thought the selection was a little small. Also, they charged an extra $1.99 because we had ice cream which I thought was silly and we should have been told about. Other than that though, food was surprisingly delicious for a little hole in the wall next to a Walmart, we will definitely be back.

A friend and I were looking for somewhere to grab a lunch, but the place we were initially going to eat wasn't open yet. This place was next door in the strip plaza and had a "Grand Opening" sign, so I suppose it opened recently. The lunch buffet is $9.99 and the dinner buffet is $14.99. What I found odd was that the ice cream was "sold separately" as AYCE for $4.99. I was too full by the end of the meal that I had no desire to try any of the ice cream flavors. The buffet was a little small, but what they had was great. There was a lot of the typical items you would see at an Indian buffet -- Butter Chicken, Chicken Meatballs, Mixed Veggie Curry, Dahl Soup, Veggie Fritters, Paneer, and Rice as well as a few chutneys. Fresh veggies and fruit were also available. The Butter Chicken was very dry, but that seemed to be the only thing that fell short in terms of preparation and flavor. Our server was great, friendly, and brought out excellent fresh naan whenever we requested it (AYCE naan included in the buffet). This place was an all-around great find and a very satisfying meal.

Food's good. So we were driving back to our hotel, saw the sign and were going to pick up something to take back with us. When we went in the food had just come out and it smelled good. We stayed and played pool.

Heads up! The buffet has gone up in price. The $9.99 buffet is no more : ( Which is disappointing because that's pretty much exactly how much I would have been ok with paying for it. The food is ok: not great, not awful. I think there are other places in the area that are similarly priced with better food-like Taste of Punjab right down the road. If you're in desperate need of Indian food and you happen to be standing in Apna Punjab's parking lot though, go for it! I wouldn't warn against it--I just wouldn't necessarily recommend it either. (Which I guess is basically the definition of a 3 star rating)

The place has come under new management .Dont know abt the old managemwnt but the new one serves authentic and fresh north Indian cuisine in a place of fleeting tourists. Would strongly recommend Punjabi Kadhi and Paneer bhurji along with fresh rotis( breads).

I know the buffet special is the catch here, But I love spicy so I requested to see the menu. I ordered the chicken vindaloo with garlic Naan. It was delicious. The buffet did not look appetizing to me. Lots of tourist come here for their Indian food fix but don't like it spicy. Perfect place for them. If ya want to try the good stuff order from the menu and ask for the temperature you want. I loved it.

Good food but don't order drinks. Almost $5 for a small chai and almost $6 for a mango lassi is ridiculous even for Florida.

I was trying to find outlet mall through my navigation and just saw this indian restaurant and decided to go there as it was already my lunch time. First, I took the lunch buffet and I was surprised to see the buffet selection. It was not even close to buffet items in number we get in Austin's indian restaurants. Two chicken items, two veges, Two lentils and Two rice items...WHAT?? Are you kidding me??? No appetizers? We ordered Naans which we got after we were done with our buffet food. To my surprise, Server never came to us to ask us about the drinks and we finished our food waiting for the server to get us something to drink. Finally my husband saw someone on the counter and went to ask for the drinks. The food tasted goods and thats what the 2 stars are for. their naans were really good and one star for the naans only.

Visiting from Seattle, we ducked out of Downtown Disney while some t-shirts get made up. Stumbled on Apna Punjab... and there is a daily buffet of delicious, home made, authentic food. Nawabi Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, Green Peas with Fenugreek, Vegetarian Somosa Pakora... And so much more. The rice pudding is spiced perfect! If you've eaten at Saffron in Seattle, or Taste of India in Federal Way, you will absolutely love this food. And... It was 14.99 for me, 12.99 for my son during dinner hours. No wait, Butter Naan included. I could go on. We will be back. Easily 5 stars.

Really great affordable local Punjabi Indian restaurant in a mini halal meat, groceries and hookah lounge plaza. The buffet is all day, lunch $9.99, ice cream separate w/ buffet $1.99. Old Bollywood songs playing on TV. Pool table and draft & bottle beer. The pitchers are $5 also! Many Indians like myself came in and out of the restaurant while my non-Indian fiance and I ate here. I would recommend this place.

Since i had to give at least 1 star-this place gets minimally that. As one of my golf buddies said - the water gets a star!. Our group of 8 traveling golf buddies went in there in looking at the reviews (should have noticed the review count was less and the last review was a 3 star). This is a horrible restaurant. Bad Sign 1 - We went on a Sunday at 1 pm. Any Indian restaurant in any town in US that is decent will draw a decent crowd on Sunday at 1 pm (that is like a golden hour). However, when we went to this restaurant at that time -we were the ONLY ones. Bad Sign 2 - Waiter shows up -looks like has no clue about Indian food (looked Afghan) Bad Sign 3- We go upto the food area - the buffet has food for 4 or 5 people (one of my buddies said less is better - and hence we didn't walk away - how stupid) Bad Sign 4 - We ask if "Paan" is available after lunch - the waiter has no clue what we are asking. He goes inside and comes back and says the guys inside have no idea what is as well. Food was pretty shitty and the saving grace was water really!.. We paid up and we were leaving. The waiter runs out and says -he undercharged us -because he sees 10 chairs getting moved (we were only 8 guys). At that time, one of my friends basically told him how bad their food was. Now this gets even better. The waiter says, I know, Please take me with you:). Didn't know what to say to that one. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My sister, my brother-in-law and I stopped in here for dinner after a day at the Magic Kingdom as our first restaurant choice was closed. The buffet had just been closed, so we ordered off of the menu. We ordered Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Marsala and Garlic Naan. The chicken dishes seemed to have precooked Tandoori chicken in them, and the Garlic Naan was $5.99 for a skinny piece of bread, more like pita bread. There was nothing to it. This was my brother-in-law's first visit to an Indian restaurant and he was not impressed and neither were we. We have been to several different Indian restaurants in many major cities, and this was by far the worst. We will not return.

I have eaten here twice and both times have been awesome! I drove by this place several times before giving it a try. Most Indian food in central Florida is pretty lacking so I am often leery of trying a new Indian place. One day I was driving by and was hungry and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. On my first visit I had the buffet and although it's not very big but everything was good. The naan is included and came out quickly each time our basket emptied. We left with full bellies and big smiles. The 2nd time I went I had a coupon that didn't include the buffet so I got a chance to order off the menu. I had kids along so we got 2 curries one spicy and one mild, along with rice and garlic, cheese and regular naan. Everything was amazing and if you ask for spicy that is what you are getting the heat is the curry was perfect. Both visits not only had amazing food but really good service. There were two different people there on my two different visits and both went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. This place really is a gem, if you are a local check it out this is the kind of place that is worth keeping open. I will definitely be back again and again.

If I could give negative stars, I would. My husband is blind and uses a service dog. When we walked in, the manager yelled across the restaurant "you can't bring a dog in here." We replied that it was a service dog. Another party of 2 came in, and he seated them right away; they even tried to point out that we had been there first, and he dismissed them. When he came over to talk to us, he refused to listen to us, and kept insisting that he has the right not to serve us. No, sir. According to Federal and State law, you do not have the right to refuse service to someone with a disability based solely on their disability. He told us we had to leave because there were kids in the restaurant who were afraid of dogs. Sorry again; there were tons of empty tables far away from anyone else. He said the tables needed to be cleaned. Another family came in, and he seated them. At that point, I was shaking. I sat down at a table, took a menu, and he started yelling at me, and again saying he has the right to refuse service to anyone and he was calling the police. Good. Even though we were hungry, it was late, and there was no way we would eat there at this point, we waited for the police, who came and "had a talk with him" about it. Unfortunately, they told us that unless we still wanted to try to eat there, and he refused to seat us in their presence, they couldn't charge him for the 2nd degree misdemeanor. If you care at all about the law of the land and civil rights of persons with disabilities, avoid this place.

Good food and unlimited naan. The selection of food at the buffet is small and the prices shown outside are not correct. For example, a sign on the door said they had five dollar pitchers of beer - they were eight. If you want ice cream they tack 4.99 onto your bill.
