Wasn't sure what to expect. Party of nearly 20 peeps and the service was EXCELLENT!! We had burgers, sandwiches, shrimp, soup & salad, and more. Food was AWESOME!! Highly recommend and can't wait to go back!!

McHenry's came very highly recommended by my family, so I had to check it out while in the town of Melrose and Keystone Heights. They seem to be popular, with the parking lot almost completely full by the time we left after eating dinner here. They recently expanded with more room in the back for larger parties, as well as an outside area. Great atmosphere with a small town vibe. Service was okay, all were waitresses around college age, but appeared to have a bit of waitressing experience. I do not really understand what makes this an Irish Pub, since the brews and food offered are not different than any other sports bar. We ordered many items; clam strips on crinkle fries, fried green bean appetizer, fried okra appetizer, and hot wings mixed with garlic parmesan. The wings are naked fried--- and yeah, basically everything was fried. Except for the celery sticks that come with the wings. I saw some other tables ordered salads, which looked really fresh, not just iceberg lettuce. The main thing that stood out to me is their homemade dressings and sauces; ranch, tartar sauce, and blue cheese were homemade and really good. The fried green beans and okra, were almost $7 each per basket--- so the total added up to $70+ for a party of five people very quick. We all had sodas, and one person had a beer, but that's it.

Been there several times, keep hoping the food will improve since we are locals. Guess not. Frozen, out of a box off the truck bar food. Come here to socialize, not to eat a meal.

One of my favorites, hand's down best wings ever! If your not into wings they make a great steak and cheese, great fish and chips, hey all the food is great! In my opinion best place in surrounding area. Service is friendly, place is clean and fun atmosphere to hang with the locals would give 5 stars but sometimes service lacks, maybe being a former restaurant owners ourselves we are a little more critical in that department. In the area check them out you won't be disappointed! :)

Not very Irish other than some Guinness mirrors and such on the wall but, the food we had on this visit was really good. I got a cheeseburger with bacon and grilled onions and my buddy got an order of wings. We were both happy and frankly, somewhat surprised. Dining options in Keystone are rather limited and I would list McHenry's as a solid choice. Service was friendly though a bit slow and it's a little scary for the future when the manager comes around saying you will get a 10% discount on your bill if you pay with cash. The biggest negative was all the Orange and Blue clad Gator fans there watching football but, I don't hold that against McHenry's as that money spends too. Go Noles! :)

This is a great place. The staff is friendly and the service is good. They have interesting specials along with the regular menu food. Plenty of beer choices . Lots of viewing choices for sports. On the deck outside there is a large projection TV.

Ask them to put garlic in the hot wings sauce. I've been here a few times and the food is always excellent. It's privately owned.

Excellent food and friendly service. Burger and wings are the best in the area. Two dozen new draft beers have been added to a large beer choice. Owner is very community friendly, always the first with a donation to a cause. Put this at the end of a poker run. You won't be disappointed.

Plenty of Irish whiskey available but not much Irish beer other than Guinness (draft). Large selection otherwise. Very pleasant, airy interior. Very pleasant airy waitress. Great menu for a sports bar, especially for this little town. Hope it makes it because the Philly Cheese steak sandwich was the best I've ever had (including some in Philly). Prices reasonable. Wings were pretty good too. We sat in the bar but I think it had a section that was restaurant only sort of thing that might be quieter.
