This was very disappointing. The portions are tiny, the food is WAY over priced, and is the chicken even real chicken? It tasted like it was frozen and microwaved. Much rather have gone down the street to a more reasonable priced and better tasting restaurant like hogs breath or sloppy joes. I would never recommend anyone to coming here. Unless the other restaurants have really longs lines, try your best to not come here

What can I say.. It's the Hard Rock. Great people watching, decent food, fairly cheap beers. It's a nice place to sit in the evening and watch the crowds go by, but it's not for the foodists out there.

I have visited a couple Hard Rocks in my time. I find them to be the typical tourist trap where people (myself included) can buy a tee shirt and wear it back home "looky where I've been..." On this occasion, it was early lunch and not very busy and we were quickly seated facing Duval Street. What a lovely tropical atmosphere. I ordered fish and chips and my dining companion ordered the Margherita pizza. Our server was sweet and attentive. I ordered a mixed berry mojito to start things off. Wow! What a taste sensation! The standard mojito pumped up with a mixture of various berries. Delicious. My dining companion had the Rum Runner which was a tropical mixture of fruit juices and rum and also quite tasty. The fish and chips dinner was incredible! There were four generous planks of mild fish, perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. Great cole slaw and I opted for onion rings instead of fries. What a treat. Great crunch and flavor! The Margherita pizza my dining companion had...? Usually, I find these pizzas incredibly boring and drowned in basil...This pizza was perfection! A perfectly thin and firm crust without being like a cracker. The right amount of sauce, cheese, tomato slices and bits of basil. PERFECTION! I almost wish I would have ordered it instead of the Fish and Chips but those were perfection, themselves. An awesome experience at another predictable chain except this time, the results of the dining experience were not predictable and THANK GOD for that!

I'm generally not a fan of these tourist stops but we went to Hard Rock on our first day of our girl's trip and had Kate as our waitress. We were suckered in by her great personality and the best long islands ever. Employee's can make or break your place and Kate made it such a great experience. If you go in here ask for Kate. She bartends there too!

Just like any/every other HRC, you know exactly what you are going to get. Decent food, good music and the opportunity to buy a pin or a tee shirt as proof that you were there. The key west restaurant has a few things going for it. First and foremost, the location. I think that this location is a premier people watching spot. You are almost guaranteed to be entertained by the general public. Next, the service. I've visited this particular HRC a number of times over a number of years. Service has always been A plus. If for nothing else, grab an outside table and enjoy the scenery.

One thing you can say about Hard Rock Café's is that they are consistent:) I agree with some of the previous reviewers here that say if you have been to one Hard Rock, you have been to them all. I go to a lot of Hard Rocks when I travel because I collect the T-shirts and most of the time we stop and get something to eat as well. The food here is good, if unspectacular although I have always felt like I got a lot of burger for the money. The staff here were very friendly and what I liked about this Hard Rock is that you could sit outside and have a few beers and watch all the drunks stumble up and down Duvall Street. I like to people watch, so that alone was worth it for me,LOL. You won't have any culinary epiphanies at Hard Rock, but worth a stop if you're already in the area.

We stopped in for a quick drink and to check out the bathroom upstairs, which our ghost tour app said was haunted. But when we saw the great outside seating area and a couple tables clearing out - we opted to stay for a late dinner. I was happy to find fresh salads on the menu (vs. bar food at the other places still open), and hubby was happy enough with his blackened fish sandwich. Overall, the food was better than we expected and the outdoor seating was fabulous.

  • Valentin K.

Food was ok, but we had the most unfriendly waitress ever. Cocktails had to be done twice because they where watered down.

    (3)
  • Brian R.

Hard Rocks are like upscale McDonalds. The food is the food at every club, a kicked up bar menu. The bar is for up-charge mixed drinks and the cocktails are weak. You can go to the Green Parrot and get far better. It's the clubs themselves that are the interest point, with the memorabilia on the walls. The variables are service and the buildings that they're in. The Key West location is one of the better ones for nice patios and decent rock history inside. The service was good, which put it one star over "wow, I could have had a V8"

Must do on key west trip. Food & drinks very good but expect it to be more pricy then other places because it's a chain.

  • Paul M.

Typical Hard Rock menu. Not out of this world but the same as any other Hard Rock. Coming off a bender on Duval just what the Dr ordered. I must say though the Rock Shop Sucks at this location, other wise I would give it a fourth star.

  • Lanie R.

If you have eaten at any Hard Rock you have eaten at this one. The menu is always the same. The food is consistenelty Hard Rock good old fashioned American cusine. Can't go wrong when you go to Hard Rock. You know what to expect. What makes this Hard Rock better than the others, IMO, is the location. We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing, and the cold beer on our table made the afternoon picutre perfect. I'd come again.

This hard rock cafe is one of the most unique of all. Two story old house in the heart of key west. Great experience, eat outside!

    (5)
  • Earlane S.

I love the Buffet booth and that it's in a renovated house. The shopping is nothing to write home about.

    (3)
  • Martin H.

Crowded, very, very loud soft music (not at all a little bit rock), burgers almost burned black. Not recommended.

  • Chris R.

Why two stars? Because of its location. Period. The waitstuff sucked. Both times! We went there twice in the space of five days. the first time we popped in for a cocktail at the bar. Even though it was afternoon (around 4:00) and the place was not busy. A few late lunch stragglers but nothing crazy. In fact, we were the only ones to sit at the bar. The bartender was slow and it was almost as if he was annoyed to have patrons. Dude, seriously, if you don't want to serve people drinks don't be a bartender. He warmed up a bit but the impresssion had already been made. The second time we went it was because another couple we were with wanted to go. Great.....anyway, sat on the porch. The tables were not overly clean and I think the waitress thought she should have a grander job than serving the tourist trade. WTF? Does Hard Rock only hire prima donnas? Nachos, beers, several rounds of lemon drop shots (just so-so by the way) made the experience better. Actually, the nachos were, as far as nachos go, pretty damn tasty. So the service was not great and pretty slow and overall the place is overpriced for what it offers but hey, the location rocked. Now, in order to be perfectly honest about the experience the maitre de was a very, very nice guy complete with smile and very accommodating. Tommy, this dude who looks a little like Fonzy and has completely tattooed arms was selling raffle tickets for B.A.D.D. (Bikers Against Drunk Driving). He is super-nice. Spent a few minutes talking with him and said hello each time we walked by over the next couple of days.

Beautiful setting on Duvall street. Great atmosphere, my sangria was delirious, my salad was excellent. My husband was sad that they didn't have coors.

    (5)
  • Erik R S.

A little smaller than other Hard Rocks that I have been to. The food is average/good which is typical. You really go there for the atmosphere as I love to look at all the memorabilia.

  • Dante F.

I love Hard Rock Cafe in general, but the one in Orlando is the best!

    (4)
  • Bob P.

    Good fun and great bartender!!

I had a great barbecue sandwich. Good fries and onion wings as well. Everything else is pretty expensive.

    (3)
  • Alden C.

This Hard Rock is pretty cute. Sure it is a bit smaller than some of the other ones I have been to but it is in a great retail neighborhood. Same great souvenirs you come to expect from the chain.

    Ok food great service

  • Jen F.

Hard Rock is okay, but is odd in the middle of Key West I think. It's a fun place to look around, but we've eaten there a few times and always had a bad experience with the food. The service has been great, but the food...ugh. The memorabilia though is fantastic and the set up is really different. Go there to experience Hard Rock in Key West but make sure you're getting some real Key West Yummies too! (I'm giving 3 stars for the memorabilia and set up, not for the food)

    (3)
  • Rob N.

Similar to other Hard Rocks, but this one is in an old 2-story house. We were seated on the 2nd floor balcony and it is a great spot to people watch. Pros: view, chicken nachos, cold beer Cons:

    (3)
  • Bill S.

A Hard Rock Cafe - Key West style. Different than most HRC's, a large 2-story house converted, with a tiered patio outside for people watching. For the space, some good memorabilia on the walls with local touch. For me, got a new key chain (#38). The upstairs (converted bedrooms I guess) have a couple of tables each in them with more R&R artifacts on the walls. This is very cool and differerent from the other HRC's where you sit in a huge dining area with 150 other people. I like HRC's, the food is consistent from location to location, this one is no different. Don't come here if you're looking for the 'flavor of Key West'. But if you're 'localed out', here is good. Caught by a warm downpour (welcome to Key West), we ducked in and got the sampler appetizer (good) and Mojitos (good). Best part: watching the cruise line 'port of call escapees' wander up and down Duval St. was entertainment enough, most wearing yellow rain poncho's in a 80 degree shower.

He said..."Having been to different Hard Rocks before this one has to be the smallest. Everything is the same as every other restaurant except its in Key West. The waiter was very nice...although I think he was checking me out. For those of you not familiar with Key West's style...there is a strong gay presence there. So don't be alarmed. If you don't like it don't go. So the waiter did let my girlfriend drink our $12 margarita without checking her ID and we got to keep our cool hurricane glass. The food was just typical Hard Rock Cafe." She said..."This Hard Rock Cafe was definatley different than the other ones we have been too. It was smaller and very narrow. I remember walking through the resturaunt and having to worry about not hitting the people that were already sitting. The food was pretty good, i got the fajitas, but it wasnt anything different than the fajitas i would have gotten at say...applebees. The drinks were good and i really liked the cup he told us we could bring home. It was a long glass hard rock cafe cup.

I was really surprised on what my experience turned out to be. A friend and I were in Key West for the weekend and we ended up at the Hard Rock since it was a couple blocks from the hotel we were staying at. The wait staff was fine until we didn't get our drinks by the time our meals came out. I couldn't complain about the mac and cheese dinner I had, but it was the fact that we couldn't have our alcoholic beverages until halfway through dinner. The drink I had was very strong and I had to send it back. My friend complained about seeing a manager since they didn't even get her food order right. We don't know whether or not if they were short of help, but they were not busy on a Friday night. Needless to say, we didn't pay for our bill after we were told we were going to get a discount off of our final bill. The manager didn't even come back to our table after we seen him the first time and we asked for him to come back four times. All the other hard rock cafes I have been to have been great and this one surely lacks it.

  • Rory B.

Not much needs to be said... with all the great restaurants in KW the Hard Rock if very average and has nothing new to add that every other HR has. It is kind of out of place on Duval St

    (2)
  • Sam H.

Pretty much like all the other Hard Rock Cafes around the planet, except this one has taken over the interior of a house on Duval Street. The outdoor seating is some of the best on Duval making for a great place to people watch (and believe me, it can be quite the show). The food and service are typically very good, as you would expect with a larger franchise restaurant.

    (4)
  • Beatriz B.

I was not very impressed with this Hard Rock. The service was very slow, the tables were not very clean, and the food was not very impressive. After about 2 visits, I decided to not eat at this particular location any more. I have only returned once and it was to buy a shot glass. Most definitely not for the food. Skip this location, spend the extra money and eat at Bagetelli's instead.

  • Amanda T.

okay now. I am giving the place one star because you ready to hear this. Are you sure are you???? WWWWWWWEEEEEEEELLLLLLLL there was a freakin BUG yes a BUG in my food! We told our server and she was type disgusted about it she told her manager. Do you know what the manager had the audacity to say? "THINGS HAPPEN!!!!" Um hello I am from NYC and I know things happen but sorry to tell you we were eating inside not outside and unfortunaltly I have been to restaurants in NYC and I have never experienced anything like this. Stay tune later on in the week because I will post the picture of the bug in my plate!!!!!The scum bag didn't even offer us a discount or anything. I got completely turned off from eating my meal!

    (1)
  • Kristen F.

This Hard Rock Cafe is just what you expect. They have awesome outdoor seating that is fun, but it's traditional American food that's overpriced for what it is. If you've ever been to a Hard Rock before, it's just like that, but in an amazingly beautiful place.

    (3)
  • Crystal E.

Have been to multiple locations across the United States, this has to be the worst one. Customer Service was poor, they served us warm margaritas with no ice, food came out dry and stale. Overall terrible experience. Had hoped for more.

In this very crazy tourist area, I was happy to see a familiar face: Hard Rock cafe. I peeked my head in to look into their store for my mother's never ending collection of Hard Rock cafe tshirt (which is my duty to ensure its expansion.) - Anyhow, it is a TINY TINY store? what?? probably one of the smallest stores I have visited in an HRC. Anyway, it is also outside, and it is more of a "stall" than an actual store. Anyway, the people were so super friendly anyway. I was actually able to use their restroom since I didnt know where else to go (tmi, i know, but hey, it may help you!) This store is located in the middle of all madness that is Key West so prepare to battle it out with parking! lol

  • David C.

I've been to hard rock. You've been to hard rock. Everyone knows what you're getting there, which begs the question: why stop in? The answer is quite simple: the building. It's beautiful. But that's about all of the attractive features of this place. The service was slow (due to an ER visit for one of the staff people) due to forces beyond anyone's control, but what warrants a two star review is the food. The burger my wife ordered was flavorless to the point where she couldn't finish it. Go off the beaten path and find someplace local.

    (2)
  • Katy S.

Overpriced and nothing special. Not a lot to say here except that there are far better places for a much lower price on Duval St. I won't be returning to this location.

    (2)
  • Donald S.

Outside viewing area beautiful, bartender working last night, in my opinion, has no clue about customer service. I was offered one drink and I ordered a coke with it. And paid for both. When I was done with my first cocktail of the evening, I was planning on buying another. Seems he shut the bar down with me in it? Hosts were wonderful.

    (4)
  • Marco V.

Sorry, this facility is not living up to HC standards, waitress was not friendly and the food was just warm enough. And still having the nerve to underline that tip is not included and double underline the 20% tip calculation which to me is the same as asking for it. We were looking forward to going here but this did not left the memory we were hoping for.

    (2)
  • Michael A.

I cannot give an in depth review because I didn't eat here, but only stopped in to pick up a city style shot glass for my collection. The menu obviously looked the same as most of the HRC menus around the world. The main difference about this HRC was the building. I love the way HRC blends into the environment, not trying to take over and stand out like say, a McDonalds in a rustic foreign town/city. The building looks pretty much like many in the area, the old bright, happy, smiley "gingerbread" style house. I don't know, just seeing the building made me smile. I did look inside, just downstairs and sure enough all the stuff that makes a HRC a HRC, the guitars and photos on the wall, are here as well. I just wish I had time to hang around and get something to eat but Sloppy Joe's and Hemingway's house were calling!

    (4)
  • Charles D.

Had to stop by and and pickup a HRC guitar pin and t-shirt. The cashier was friendly and talkative and we didn't stay for any meals.

I love Rock 'n Roll, but I won't put another dime in the Hard Rock Cafe Key West jukebox, baby! Think twice about Hard Rockin' it at the Key West location because why eat at this place when you can enjoy a Key West traditional meal. I came here with my family last weekend. It took our party of 8 to be seated in 30 minutes which wasn't too bad considering it was a Saturday night. The music was not "Hard Rockin" but there were some cool pop jams and a small amount of memorabilia to look at before we got attended to - which took at least 20 minutes. Finally our waitress came to the table and got our drink orders and food orders at the same time since we had waited so long. Our server was lazy, barely came by our table and had this "I don't care to work for tips" attitude. Some of us were sharing appetizers while others ordered meals. My hubby and I and another couple shared nachos since we ate a big lunch. When the nachos came - which took another 30 minutes - the cheese wasn't melted, the fajita steak was MOOing (yep, totally raw), and there were no veggies on it like in the description. We didn't care and chowed it down since we were hungry, but it wasn't that great. The other couple who ordered the nachos ordered chicken and the pork nachos came out. We asked the waitress to change them to chicken since that is not what we ordered and she said "I am sorry, it's the kitchens fault and I can't help it that the kitchen sent you the wrong order. Let me get my manager". Instead of saying, "I am sorry, let me change these for you" and bring another right away, we had to wait another 10 minutes before the manager passed by our table and another 10 minutes for us to get the right order. Aside from the nachos, I tried the wings and they were really fatty! When in Key West only check out the Hard Rock from the outside. Admire its Key West charmed look and then keep walking until you find something better to eat. Alonzo's Oyster Bar, Garbos Grill, Grunts, The Commodores, etc are all A GAZZILION times better!

  • Thomas B.

We had a late meal here after the fantasy fest parade on Saturday. We had a surprisingly short wait (2 minutes) for a great table outside overlooking the duval crazieness. We had nachos for an appetizer and they were very good. A hurricane from the bar, they do this well and a couple of beers. For our meals two had burgers (the original), which were messy but cooked perfectly and good. Two had BLT's and I noticed nothing left on their plates at meals end. Our server was cool. Dressed like cat women and very efficient although service was a little slow but it was fantasy fest, so no deductions necessary.

Weren't greeted for at least fifteen minutes. We were seated right by the bar, so even if our server was weeded out and busy.. The bartender could have at least said something. We sat inside hoping for air conditioning and it was super hot, still. It was happy hour so apps and drinks were half off My friend wasn't carded when ordering her drink which is surprising.. She just turned 21 and we both look pretty young. Ordered chicken nachos and it was so soggy and gross. I'm just thankful it was half off for happy hour. Had to just eat the plain chips and guacamole. Wouldn't recommend

I have been to Hard Rock Cafe ages ago, I don't remember what I ordered but I wasn't too fascinated with the food. And I don't normally prefer restaurant chains either. However, the Hard Rock Cafe ambiance in Key West was a bit different. It seemed like a house was converted into the restaurant and the outdoor seating facing the busy Duval street looked nice. Especially in December with the holiday lights everywhere. Without a reservation we were seated immediately. We ordered a Jumbo Combo appetizer, that comes with spring rolls, chicken wings, onion rings, potato skins and chicken tenders. The portion was huge; my husband and I shared it and we were full! Didn't have room for an entree or dessert. However, my husband had been raving about their Mac n Cheese and I so badly wanted to try it. So, we split a side of Mac n Cheese... Ohhh woww, really the best Mac n Cheese I've had. With bread crumbs on top and a few chilli flakes, it was kind of spicy and gooood... Loved Hard Rock Cafe and can't wait to go back again for Mac n Cheese!

I wish i could give less then 1 star to express my experience. We were seated rather quickly- but that is as far as we got- we placed are orders and waited 30 min for our salads, that never came. Tried to asked another sever what the issue was because ours was nowhere to be found. When server #2 had a bad attitude and was uninterested we decided this place was not for us. All in all terrible service- so bad i had to right my first review.

Visited the hard rock cafe on Duval street this weekend. The hostess was very curt and treated us as if we were just occupying the table and needed to get out of there ASAP. The food took ~45 min to come out. Also, I understand that they need to make money; but $12 for a glass of Budweiser. Thats nuts. The Tangy burger had no "tang" and was an OK cheeseburger that I can get for $5 at any fast food place.

The service and food at all the Hard Rocks (that I have been to....and that's a few) has always been consistently good and the portions are right. Along with the overall "coolness" of the atmosphere, sitting and watching life happening on Duvall St. in Key West, just makes it that much better.

We didn't eat here but stayed for two rounds of drinks. We sat in the bar area at a table and were able to people watch and enjoy the hustle and bustle of Duval St. Our waitress was very friendly. I can't speak for the food, since we didn't eat, but to sit and have a drink it was a great place. Also, I had a nonalcoholic drink called the "Strawberry Basil Lemonade." It was so delicious! A great nonalcoholic option for kids and adults. I'm making it when I get home! I have it three stars because, though the building, decor, and outside seating and bar were awesome!! I was disappointed that the ladies room didn't have toilet paper. I'm not generally to picky, but for some reason this is one of those things that just make or break a place for me. When I exited the restroom I looked for an employee to tell but could find anyone available. I think I'd be more sympathetic if it was a family owned or independent resturant, but since it's a chain I just can't...

Went here just so my girlfriend could say she had been to Hard Rock. Unfortunately that was all we can say good about it. Food was bland. Drinks improperly mixed. Wait staff seemed harried although the place was only a quarter full. Then the bill was brought to us and we had to catch it before it blew away in the wind. That's why they made folders to put the bill in. Will say that Joshua, the guy who seated us was very friendly, but needs to ease up on the make up.

It's Hard Rock. Foods ok. Weird they don't put drink prices on menu. Paid $27 for a bottle of Pinot Grigio so not too bad. Go look at Jim Morrison's snake skin jacket, he must of been very skinny.

Stopped in here last week as Margaritaville was packed and I was starving, hot, and my dang scooter wouldn't start. What was even more embarassing, they guy in the Harley shop watched as I failed to kick start my scooter....ugh! Anyways, the patio was really nice and it was a cool little Hard Rock location. There was immediate seating available outside but I was sweating through my clothes and I wanted to put some distance between me and the scooter so I opted to wait for a booth inside. They said it would be about 15 minutes but we were in a booth in less than 5. What was even more rad, and a sign that I need to move to Key West, is that we were seated in the Jimmy Buffett booth (my hero). Ordered four glasses of water and that macaroni and cheese with bread crumbs and spice in it (can't remember the name of it) and it was absolutely fantastic. The waitress was super nice, I think her name was Bilyana, and she did a great job. No complaints at all. I'm heading back to Key West tomorrow for a couple nights and will definitely be going back.

I really like the HRC, but there were so many other places to check out in Key West during a short visit that I didn't spend much time here. This one is smaller than most that I'd been to before, but still had the music memorabilia and tourist 'vibe' of all the others. Decided to just take some pictures and browse the gift shop instead of ordering anything-- all of their merch is too damn expensive so they got no money from me. Still, I'm sure the food is as good as I've come to expect from this chain and the staff I dealt with here were friendly and accommodating-- even when I told them that I just wanted to 'look around'.

    (3)
  • Mike S.

I lvoe the Hard Rock, can't lie. But this small HRC on Duval Street in Key West is ahh-mazing. Tourist trap? Maybe. Over priced? Maybe. But like all Hard Rocks it has class, atmosphere, style and rock 'n roll. Love the burgers, salads, mixed drinks. Hurricanes? Yes please. The staff here was fun and friendly. I can't wait to get back to this HRC soon! One of the gems

Dinner on a Sunday night, walk-in. Seated right away. I know you are like why would you go to Hard Rock with all the seafood abounding around you? My reply is that I was traveling with a seafood hater and needed a resto with food he could eat. Anyway, I had a guacamole burger and fries which was quite delicious. He had the mac and cheese with chicken which was also delicious. Mind you, I normally hate mac and cheese from places like this (CPK, Lucilles, etc.) because it's not baked--it's not that real southern style mac that you cut with a knife from the pan. But, it had that good flavor minus the traditional look. Prices were fairly low compared to most other restaurants in Key West. Good place from which to people watch if you sit on the front deck.

We had a great time and service at Hard Rock Cafe 2 weeks ago and some of the best seafood and flat bread pizza. The server Jerry reccommeded a nice red Italian wine and it was just perfect. The place is on the famous Duval Street and has a great vie. Perfect weather pairs with perfect place to eat and enjoy- Hard rock was a great experience!

I am a fan of the Hard Rock Cafes. They have so much memorabilia. I collect the guitar magnets, they have changed through the years from a Gibson ES-335 style with the name of the cafe on the fretboard to an acoustic design. The acoustic design is lame, Hard Rock go back to the ES-335 design. They have live bands play in from of the Hard Rock, they do ROCK Duval Street. The food is just like the other Hard Rock Cafes, and you have a second floor here. Yea, Great to keep an eye on the street. If you are a Hard Rock Cafe fan, you will visit this place at least once.

Always packed, fun to look around. Service is good, but slow. Food was nothing special. We had to wait for a while, probably wouldn't go back

Not worth it. Super overpriced, we got nachos that were not very good and $25 and every drink we ordered tasted like there was no alcohol added. When ordering a drink our server told me if I told the souvenir glass it was only $12 and normally the drink was $10.. of course I was sold. Unfortunately, when we got the bill it turned out the drink was $17.. totally not worth it. This is a great place to people watch and there is a lot of outdoor seating but your money will go further elsewhere.

I was SO disappointed in my very first Hard Rock experience! We went here the first night we arrived and I will say that the service was decent, especially since they were pretty busy. The decor was fun, of course, but the food was just blah - especially for the cost. The nachos that we got as an appetizer were huge, but they were bland. I didn't think it was possible to have as many flavorful things grouped together and still have something taste bland, but they managed. I had a burger that was okay-ish and a fairly gross mojito. All-in-all not someplace I would visit again. I might recommend it to people I didn't like though.

Your money can be used elsewhere for a whole lot more! Right across the street from this place is a place called "Caroline's" where your $ can go further. Unless you just really want to see the memorabilia on the walls, or you are caught up in the fad of having the Hard Rock T-shirts, there really is no reason in going here.

Ever been to a Hard Rock Cafe? This is exactly like every one you've ever been to, except that it's located in an older house on Duval Street, and not shaped like a guitar. Never been to a Hard Rock Cafe? Take an Applebee's, put music memorabilia on the walls instead of road signs, and have less drink specials and higher prices. Overall, a fun place to eat. Food is always good, just pricey, and you're not really going to find any good drink specials unless you get one of the frozen drinks in their souvenir glass and you get to keep the glass. Service is good. Ambiance is cool. Rock Shop is small, but does offer up the usual fare of shotglasses, t-shirts, magnets, keychains, etc... I always stop at every Hard Rock I can to pick up a small shotglass with the city on it. Too bad I had to wait in line for like 15 minutes because the lady behind the counter had an attitude. Oh well, still didn't take away from a decent meal. There's lots of good local places in Key West to eat, but it's still a fun place to stop in and have a meal if you're so inclined.

We attended a wedding reception here. I was on the second floor that they closed for this private event. There was only one negative you had to leave the room to go to a smaller room to get the buffet style dinner. That being said it was nothing short of amazing. Some of the best prime rib I have ever eaten. Great vegetables, potatoes, salad, desert. Really everything was amazingly delicious. they must be something in the water down there. I really am not kidding about that prime rib I live in Chicago and we have great beef. I think my second favorite part of our great experience was the service. The staff was really great and personable. The bartenders were very attentive and really seemed to be happy to be there.

The review is for the shop. I agree with Lanie, if you have eaten at one you have eaten at all and we surely weren't in the mood for Hard Rock food. Its good, we just wanted something more..... Key West. I did however, need to get a Key West guitar pin. We looked around and the super nice attendant not only helped us out but went way out of her way to do so. She was super friendly and super helpful. I ended up getting a guitar charm for one of the musicians in my house whose birthday was coming up.

As my profile says, I do visit the franchise type places rarely. We stopped here because we were a tad undecisive on what to eat. Plus it was a packed night on the streets and this place had open tables. You know what you are getting here (tacky decor, simple menu, overpriced drinks) and sometimes that is a good thing. We liked the nachos and my bbq chicken pizza was good. Out of the 4 of us, 3 were happy with our food, but my wife did not like her goat cheese/veggie pizza. She did like her drink (but at $16 it was expensive although you get a fresh glass to take home). I did like that our table was right on Duval and our waitress was very funny.

Tonight I ordered delivery from the Hard Rock. Gentleman who took my ordered was efficient and helpful. Delivery was quick and food was good. We had the fish and chips and the twisted mac n cheese. My only real issue is that the online menu doesn't have prices on it. So I was surprised by the actual dollar amount of the food.

My favorite fun restaurant in Key West! Have sat at the outside tables and the outside bar. Service is always friendly and attentive without being pesty. You are welcome to bring your dog as they have an outside area just for people and their furry family members. The wait staff will even bring water without asking. The food is typical Hard Rock with the same menu as every Hard Rock around the US. You can make substitutions and special requests. This place never disappoints.

Sat at the bar. Very clean and nice atmosphere to relax, have a drink. And listen to music Magical mystery mojito is refreshingly delish. Cucumber, lime, elder flower liquer, and gin. Mmm mmm good.

We just sat in the bar area, so didn't try the food and really didn't have a waiter or waitress but the bartender was very nice and when my slightly intoxicated husband left a massive tip and our credit card, he was nice enough to let us know my husband shouldn't be "making decisions" anymore. I thought that was incredibly nice, as most wouldn't act this way. The music was fantastic, atmosphere was great, and if you enjoy looking through memorabilia at a hardrock, this place wont disappoint. I loved the outside bar and the outside music.

This place was within walking distance from our hotel on Duval Street. I placed an order to go and it was ready when I got there. The price is what's expected from this restaurant (being a bit on the high end). When we got back to the hotel, the food was still warm and everything tasted great. They were a bit stingy with the chicken and tortilla for my fajitas though. The order only had two flour tortillas and a whole lot of veggies. I preferred to have more meat, but the food was overall great.

We went to Hard Rock Café after a night of Duval Street parade, since it was one of the few places that did not have super long wait with everywhere else either booked for private party or super packed. It was late at night and their shop was already closed, so we could not get a t-shirt for one of companion for his hard rock shirt collection. In case you partied too hard, they actually required clothing here. We started with Jumbo Combo which included few of every appetizer they got. The onion rings and the flat bread with spinach dip were probably the best out of all. The wings and tenders were a bit dried, and the bruschetta was super hard. Spicy Italian was not very spicy at all, there were just a little bit of topping when compared to a vast amount of thick bread underneath. Twisted Mac & Cheese was an interesting dish, they used a different kind of noodles and added a chicken breast on top, but the favors were on the bland side. Given a choice, this place probably would not be my first pick. The food was just ok like most of the Hard Rock Café I visited in the world. Our waitress was quite attentive to us and the staffs were all wearing costumes that night.

A steady staple! Can always count on HR to deliver! Was hot and needed a good place to cool off with great food and drink. HR on KW is it. Great setting and atmosphere - clean and cool. Indoor and outdoor seating to include at two bars. Had their magical Mojito and it was refreshing as advertised along with a double helping deal and the glass to keep. They even substituted the tall Pilsner for the hurricane glass for me since I collect those. Totally professional and courteous staff - their presentation and service is top notch. Had their local combo burger and it was delicious - ask for it. Will continue to come back when in KW.

Good food and they have slot to look at! It's an interesting place. The drinks are great and made right!!! This Hard Rock has been revamped over the last year and they have new memorabilia to look at. It has a great atmosphere.

Jason was awesome. Great attitude and had fabulous suggestion for Dessert. Open sitting outside with an Angelic Soulful Sounds of Dora. The weather is perfect for sitting outdoors. A couple of Bahama Mama's didn't hurt either. Drop in on your trip down under--Key West

Hard Rock is a classic of classics. This place looks really good from the outside, altough it kinds of dissapoint me when I was inside of it. The service was normal: but I´ve seen that they have a lot of people available. The menu is huge. I think it has more drinks than others Hard Rock Café! Apart from that, everything was ok, I liked the presentation of the chips and the hamburguer was delicious, as usual. My boyfriend ordered Fajitas and it came with many options to prepare them. Location is excellent!
