There is one lady that pisses me off all the time at this subway. Everytime I'm ordering a sub, I have to take a deep breath because she is so rude. She throws everything in the sub. She doesn't care about the service but when she is about to charge you she tries to be nice to get some tip in the jar. She is horrible. I have no idea how she still works there because since I moved to the key, they've always had super nice people working here.

I used to love this subway but they have been through many staff changes and many owner changes. I has gone down down hill from there. They have a woman working there with a really really heavy accent who is the rudest person I have ever met. The nights she works (like today 3/15) they often run out of meat, bread and cookies. That doesn't happen often so I get the impression that she is just too lazy to make them or pull them out. I really cannot stand her rudeness and have often contemplated not going back there just because of the way I've seen her treat the customers but it's one of the only places open late on the Key. They really need to get rid of her or have her retrained on how to treat customers.

Though it may be hard to imagine an inexpensive place like Subway in ritzy Key Biscayne, where you must pay to enter this island (I pity the residents having to pay to enter their locality every time they leave the key, not even Star Island does this!), this is probably one of the only fast food options (or at least the only one I saw) in the area. I stopped here on my way to see the lighthouse last weekend and they managed to prepare my sandwich in a good amount of time. I got the Teriyaki Chicken 6 inch sub and was pleased by the amount of scoops of chicken chunks that the employee put in my sandwich, she was generous with the jalapenos and the Sriracha sauce too, which is always nice. This is a great place to get a quick and cheap bite, especially if you're not in the mood for a sit down meal or on the go.

By all means, this is my favorite Subway. Even though, it's under new management the transition has been fantastic. The bread is always fresh and NOT burnt (like I've experienced at other Subway's). The staff is friendly and very attentive to your order. Even though, this subways is a little over priced than others. I enjoy coming here for lunch from time to time.

Food is always awesome here. Cheap and delicious. Service has gone downhill over the past 10 years, half the people working there only speak a couple words of English and sometimes just stop in the middle of making a sandwich (when there are people in line) and have joking conversations with coworkers in the back. Just focus for two minutes and make my sandwich please? Thank you!

Dear Subway, I have never been a big fan, since I am a true and loyal Publix Sub fan. However, you are the only fast-food, quick and easy option on the Key. You have saved me on numerous occasions, when the gratis employee meal has been substandard to my lunch preferences. LOL The service at this location is always good and on point. The ladies behind your counter are always friendly and smiling, listening to one's order, and usually never making a mistake. The restaurant itself is very small, and there are only 2 tables (maybe 3?) inside. But its always clean and tidy, which I totally appreciate. I am such a creature of habit and always get the same sub. Turkey and American Cheese. A bit of lettuce and onions. Some salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, and I am set! Today I went for their Philly Cheesesteak. And I am sure the readers are thinking, "From Subway, eww gross!" But you know what, it was pretty darn good. And with the added, salt/pepper/oil/vinegar, a tad of mayo, and extra cheese, I think I found a new habit! Thanks for being the only fast-food chain on the island. Regards, Sabrina*

I came by here today got lunch after my neice's tennis tournament match in crandon park...not amazed, not impressed. Then again, it's Subway. It was as ordinary as it gets. I ordered a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sub for the first time. Again, not bad, but not memorable at all. Subway never really satisfies...with the exception of their cookies. :)
