Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Here with my husband and my mother for lunch. Lunch specials were excellent the place was busy, and my husband's meat lasagna was truly delicious. My pizza had a thin crispy crust plenty of cheese and my mother's chicken Caesar salad wrap was really good. $28 for lunch for 3 was definitely a decent deal.

Excellent Food! The service is amazing. I have been eating here for 2-3 years and have gotten to know the owners. It is family owned and they work very hard, so I hope you get to support them. They also deliver large orders for me for work.

One of my favorite places, love those garlic rolls! They have early bird dinners too if you want to save a few bucks, just get there before 6 pm.

Having gone here for pizza takeout and a meal, this is real Italian food. It is very good and the atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and friendly. I'd recommend this place any day.

My mom and I came here to have a Calzone to celebrate my Nanny's birthday. My Nanny passed away a year and a half ago and loooooooved Calzones. Happy Birthday Nanny!! It wasn't a NYC Calzone dripping and oozing with cheese BUT it was pretty darn good!! We love you!

Gave 4 stars because I've only had their pizza the 2 times I've been here. Both times the pizza was so good I didn't care I was making a pig of myself! Besides calories don't count when you're on vacation ! My Dad recommended it when I was here 2 years ago. Came back for a visit and of course had to come here for the pizza. The crust is thin and crispy. The sauce had a nice zesty flavor and the cheese was decadent. It seems both times I was here was on a Sunday because it was quiet. Holy crap the cannoli!

I had a wonderful time here! The food was amazing! I got the baked pasta dish and loved it. The garlic rolls are my favorite! Definitely recommend this place! I've been here three times already and I haven't been disappointed.

The food puts Sal's at a rating of about 2 stars, but the service puts it down to 1. I have only been here once willingly... any time after that has been because a friend had unfortunately chosen the place. The first time I came here, I was with a group of 4. We were seated quickly, but it took the waiter about 10 minutes before he realized he had occupants at one of his tables. Afterwards we got our drinks, garlic bread, and put in our order. This collectively took about 30-45 min, with a large lapse between each of the 3 events. By this time, it was hitting around 9 PM, and I was getting hungry! The food finally came out at around 915. I had ordered the linguine with mussels, and it was quite disappointing. A large number of my mussels were not opened, which meant that a majority of my meal was not edible (normally its not a good idea to eat mussels that have not opened on their own while cooking). I ended up paying $15 for a dish that I did not even get to enjoy. After dinner, it took another good 30 min before the waiter decided to bring us the check. We had told the waiter to split the check ahead of time, but apparently he forgot to do so. When we politely brought up his mishap, he started going C-RRRRRR-azy! on us! He claimed that the restaurant was unable to split the check, which we knew was a complete lie since we had been here before and had not run into this problem. He kept telling us rudely that we were out of our minds for wanting to split the check and that if we wanted to keep demanding it, that we should take it up with the manager. Okay, fair enough.... We went up to the front to discuss this with the manager and figured it would be easy to sort out... WRONG!!!! The manager also claimed that the register was unable to split the check. 10 minutes goes by with the same conversation going around in circles before I reach over myself to split the check. It took me about 30 seconds to figure out. Sals... tisk tisk tisk. If it takes me a couple seconds to figure out how to split the check, you should probably invest in the time to learn how to do it yourself for the sake of your customers. Seriously, I would be happy to stop by to show you guys how to use your own register! :)

We went for the pizza on a friend's recommendation. Got a large sausage and roasted peppers. Pluses were: Very good thin & crispy crust, with a good sauce and OK cheese. Service was excellent. Minuses were: The sausage was really lame. Very thin slices and not much of it. Definitely our latest go-to pizza place. Will talk to the mgr. about the crappy sausage though.
