Been here twice and was satisfied both times. The tortillas are made fresh when you order. I had the pork burritos both times. Very good flavor and very fresh. My only recommendation is that they were a little skimpy on the meat. Prices are reasonable compared to other chains. Guess that's why they are a little smaller.

I've always loved this place and had great things to say about it but the most recent time I was here, I left furious and I will probably never return. The food is good but this last time, the staff was horrible. The manager was making sexist comments to the lady in front of me and that would have been motivation enough for me to leave but my family was waiting on food from here. So when it was my turn the sexist manager started my 2 quesadillas and then started on my burritos. As someone else was building my burritos, the manager went and closed my quesadillas after I told him that I needed more things in them. And his response was "you can put it on the side." They were rude to me as the rest of my food was made and they never even offered to make my quesadillas the way I wanted them and I had to bring my family little plastic cups full of things that they had to try to put into their quesadillas themselves. This one time was enough to make me never to back, regardless of how the food it.

This place has very fast service. Tortillas are delicious & fresh. Price range I think is definitely comparable to all the other chains. Chips & queso are good too. When you order a burrito they mix it up which definitely makes it taste better. Similar to how cold stone creamery mixes up your ice cream. I'd recommend this place especially if your looking for change from Chipotles or Moe's.

Love these burritos, everytime I come back home from college I try to make at least two stops in for the grub. Never had a bad meal here & it's always consistent. They look to be overstaffed most of the time but that's always better than vice versa.

Tried this place 3 times. Nope it doesn't cut it. Everything is extra- want veggies on that, thats a dollar etc. those 5$ tacos are really 8$. Food temp cold and sauces bizarrely hot- i like hot but your medium is like other peoples extra hot. Won't be back.

They make burritos very well. The ingredients are similar with chipotle, but this place actually constructs burritos better

When you are bored with eating Chipotles and Moes, Pancheros is a welcomed backup choice. They have the same basic staples.. Burritos, bowls with sauces to choose from, however their rice tastes seasoned. Also, there are rarely any lines there, so you will get your food fast!

Assembly-line style Fresh-Mex, intended to be a step-up from Chipotle/Moes/Qdoba, with similar options. Their best quality? Thick, Fresh Tortillas made when you order. Yum. Those fresh tortillas make-up for some other growing pains. Limited toppings. And many Yelpers say "bland" (partially up to you, but true to some degree). It can be a dice-roll .. The proteins may be cool from sitting out, a side-effect of this restaurant receiving less business than a Chipotle. This leads to my next concern: Service. Generally I've had good service, but they operate under a different policy than Chipotle. Some Fresh-Mex places will gladly give you extra lettuce or pico, if you ask. Here, I've had some issues. This becomes a greater concern if the proteins aren't as fresh as you'd like and the staff is not too concerned. Summary: Some classic "growing pains" that yield very negative reviews on Yelp. Despite that, I'd still recommend trying this option if you're in the area. It's located just around the corner from Publix where Pyro's once was, in the Abacoa shops.

Eh... I have mixed feelings about this place. Upon entering, it felt like a chili's smashed together with a chipotle... Counter service with already prepped food. Typical burrito or bowl options. The beans had that skin on them from sitting too long, so did the queso. The chicken and carnitas were very very dry. They also looked they had been sitting awhile. I went right at the lunch rush and the place was a ghost town. Maybe they get an early dinner crowd?? Prices were comparable to other counter service restaurants. Nothing extraordinary or special about this place. Nothing stand out. Like I said... Eh...

Bland. Not as good in quality as chipotle. Last time I was there, my burrito bowl was served to me cold. I'm guessing they had just pulled the black beans out of the refrigerator and didn't give it time to warm up. So they don't seem so concerned with quality. However, Their queso dip is excellent!

Place is good like the fact they make your tortilla on the spot, thats where it ends food tatse good nothing to run and brag. I wish they stayed on top of the grill when food is running out they should have food prepared to replace not wait till it's empty and tell you sorry. That is 1 of my biggest pet peeve please make sure your stations stay clean and supplied.

I went to school in Iowa City where this is a Pancheros. I spent many late nights there. Yes, its not super authentic Mexican food but it does the trick. Not to mention for the price point, you can't really beat it. My husband and I are on a budget so this is a treat. I also like that they let you mix your proteins so if you want half chicken half steak, they will do it. Try it out but manage your expectations in my opinion.

Ruined their chicken breast by seasoning it with cheap taco sauce. Should have left it plain you idiots !! That's why you have 20 sauces -- da!

Clean, new and good decor. They have awesome fresh tortilla but that's about it. Everything else looks like it's been sitting there all day.. I ate around 1:45PM and it looked dried out. If you're trying to compete with chipotle at least have fresh vegetables also. I ordered a burrito with carnitas and it seemed bland. I usually don't add hot sauce but today I had to. The chips and queso ($3 extra) was salty. Each chip was coated in salt. Pancheros seemed pricier than Chipotle and Moes. Everything seemed to be an extra $1-$3. I got a burrito, quesadilla, chips/queso and 1 drink.. The total $18. (I'll just stick to my chipotle.) Great place if you don't do crowds. Place was empty.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
