Lanna Thai is a gem! Delicious and fresh! I highly recommend this restaurant. The staff of Lanna Thai will go out of their way to meet your preferences. I'm on the diabetic diet. And they were willing to prepare all my dishes without sugar. The food tasted great. I could tell that they were using the freshest ingredients. And I didn't leave with cravings for chocolate or sweets. So if you are searching for healthy food around Juno, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, then definitely check out this place.

When I eat at Lanna's only one world comes to mind: ridiculous. They've somehow managed to perfect the culinary art of Thai food. Their blend of spices; on point. Their noodles; cooked perfectly. The service; friendly, helpful, and funny. The only downside? It's 20 minutes from my house. But don't get me wrong, that's never stopped me 8pm on a Tuesday night. So if you're reading this on yelp deciding whether or not you should go I can only give one bit of advice. Don't go. Just don't. They've ruined me for life. In all honesty, I can not find another Thai restaurant that lives up to Lanna. So unless you want to be hooked for life, jaded and unable to eat Thai anywhere else (and I mean that) don't go. Apologize to your taste buds right now and stay away.

Absolutely THE best thai food I have ever had. Owner is so friendly and helpful with the menu. I will never be able to go to another thai restaurant again after this experience. Everything else is fake and filled with sugar. At Lanna Thai you receive excellent service and an authentic meal.

Simply outstanding Thai food -- as good as you'll find anywhere. The owner is a terrific guy, with a great sense of humor. Be careful when you order spicy food, though. He grades the spiciness from 1 to 5. 3 is plenty hot for me, and I like my food spicy. I just can't imagine what a 5 would be like.

This place has ruined me for Thai food anywhere else. The lunch specials are delicious and a great value, you get a cup of soup and a spring roll with all lunch entrees, and the lunch portion size is perfect. The lightly fried rice is a perfect complement to a yummy curry. The panang curry is unsurpassed. This is a small but eloquent place on a fairly quiet end of a shopping center, but it can get busy during the weekday lunch rush. The evening atmosphere is cozy and romantic for a special night out. The staff is very efficient and friendly, and remember their regular customers quite well.

Lanna Thai is great Thai food with even better service. The food is fresh with great flavors that are complemented by the spice rather than overpowered by it. I went with my family, so we had quite a few options to share. In the way of soup, the King of the Sea was wonderful... packed with seafood in a yummy broth. I added a bit of spice to the Tom Kha Gai soup with coconut milk and chicken, and it was very good as well. For entrees, we got the Grouper steamed in ginger sauce, a rather spicy Pad C-Ew, spicy Chicken Spinach, and Chicken Green Curry. The Grouper was flaky and fresh. Chicken Spinach had great flavor, and the Pad C-Ew was a nice blend of sweet and spicy. The Green Curry was our least favorite and tasted a bit watered down; we wouldn't recommend it when there are other delicious options. The service was great and had the feel of a family-owned business. The waiters were charming, and were very helpful in making suggestions and recommending appropriate spice levels to suit the tastes of each individual. For instance, the Grouper comes with multiple options, steamed or fried, ginger sauce or garlic wine. The waiter recommended the garlic wine sauce to compliment a fried grouper, or ginger sauce to compliment the steamed. He also steered us in the right direction around what level of spice we could be comfortable with depending on our dishes and tastes. Throughout the meal, the servers were incredibly polite and non-intrusive, not to mention entertaining. The location is a bit of a surprise, being hidden in a strip mall. However the inside was quaint and comfortable with pretty white woodwork, and the food and service worth tracking it down.

I was visiting from out of town and read that Lanna Thai had the best Thai food in the area, and was furthermore the 5th best restaurant of all types regionally. The server said the pad thai and the panang curry were the best the house had to offer. I ordered the pad thai medium spicy and the curry hot. The pad thai was totally flavorless in all regards and dried out. The curry was slightly seasoned and not at all spicy, and very heavy and dense (unlike other panang curries I've had). Both caused me indigestion. I come from the land of Pok Pok, and this is definitely some of the worst Thai food I've ever had. For the sake of locals and vacationers alike, I hope this is not the best the region has to offer. Maybe I was just there on an off night. At $12 a dish, they didn't act like it was an off night.

First off this place deserves 10 stars. Everytime my family goes there he greats us by names. He always does something special for us. We eat here once a week and drive from loxahatchee. I travel to various cities around the US about once time month and I'm always looking for good Thai food. I've never found anything close to Lanna Thai. The service and quality is the best. It's about 40 minutes away from where I live and I probably pass by 10 Thai restaurants on my way to Lanna.

Lanna Thai is the Thai food star that shines above the rest anywhere in the area. Lanna Thai is casual and if it was any more laid back you'd need a Thai iced coffee just to get yourself out the door. This is one of the places locals eat and they do a brisk takeout business. The owner personifies the friendly reputation of the Thai people. We've eaten there so often that I stop looking at the menu and special board and just let the owner pick for me. By doing so I've expanded by taste horizons by trying dishes I would have never picked for myself like softshell crab, frog legs in garlic sauce and crispy duck. All are a taste adventure, each one seemingly better than the next. The food is authentic Thai and comes on a heat scale of 1-5. Anything over 3 will bring tears to your eyes and over 4 the Juno Beach Fire Department goes on stand by. To start get the appetizer sampler, which lets you try egg rolls, fried wontons, and fried cheese puffs. It's the perfect starter. My wife loves the Phad Thai that she gets with tofu instead of chicken. I get whatever the owner feels like bringing, which once included the pho he made for himself. If you've never had genuine Thai pho it's fantastic, a dish that takes all day to make. The crispy duck is legendary and I highly recommend it but stick with the garlic sauce. The sweet and sour pineapple sauce comes in a distant second. If it's seafood you want get the seafood and vegetable curry but be careful. If you say you want it hot, they will bring the heat. If you need a lift get yourself a Thai iced coffee but caution is advised. They taste like candy and I can drink them all day, but more than one and you'll be wired to the ceiling for hours. The only reason Lanna Thai doesn't get 5 stars is it's a tiny bit cramped and the decor could use an update. If it's busy please be patient. The owner has to keep the number of employees to a minimum to make ends meet and prices in line. Much of the time he's working by himself. When it's busy service will be slooooooow, so if you're in a hurry call it in and get your order to go.

Had dinner here last night. I have mixed feelings. Firstly, I'm no stranger to Thai cuisine, I even prepare Thai at home and grow my own ingredients. We arrived and were seated promptly. I thought the wait between being seated and getting a menu was a bit excessive, but they were very busy so I let it go and the service thereafter was just fine. I believe the owner is the person that takes the orders he has two young ladies (smiling & pleasant) that take care of the serving and busing duties. When I ordered I was very clear that I actually prepare Thai myself and I like Thai heat in my dishes. My wife ordered Tom Ka Gai (chicken coconut soup) not spicy and when served was nothing resembling Tom Ka Gai! It actually tasted like warmed up coconut milk! I ordered a dish I have had many times at a variety of Thai restaurants all over the country spicy squid salad and requested Thai hot for spice. When served it was tasteless and mild spice. I spoke to the owner and told him the dish lacked fish sauce and lime juice at least! His reply was that I must like my Thai food how Thai people prepare it, which confused me somewhat as I was after all at a Thai restaurant! He did , however take the dish away and when he returned it was now perfect! Confused again, but the issue had been resolved. My wife ordered steamed grouper in a ginger sauce for her entree and it was delicious! I ordered the "chef special" seafood in a red curry sauce and Thai spicy. When served it had no spice and was completely bland, again. Again I spoke to the owner and explained the red curry and fish sauce and Thai basil seemed absent. He was most apologetic explaining again that his American guests find regular Thai food overwhelming and they adjust for their tastes, again I was confused, but judging by how full his place is I guess his formula is hard to argue with. However he took my dish and a short while later returned and my dish was now exactly as it should have been the first time. Overall I wasn't happy with the original presentation of my dishes, but the owner was pleasant about the situation and fixed everything. Hence the three stars! I was reminded upon departure that on my return to make sure To specify that I like my Thai food like the Thai eat it!

The absolute best Thai food around!!!! I've been to many thai restaurants around here trying to find a place like my place I love back home in Michigan, well I finally found it and I can't believe it it's actually better!!!!! I was ordering at least couple times a week I'm in love!!! My favorite and usual I get is the Drunkun noodle which is literally OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! If you have not try Lanna please do!!! You will not regret it!!!!!!!!!

Great spot for casual, no frills, authentic Thai. Very vegan and vegetarian friendly--Lanna Thai has a 'Vegetarian Special' section on their menu, (see photos), with ten options that can all be made vegan! Our server said they have a large vegan following and said that in the kitchen they use a separate grill space to prepare their vegetarian entrees! I ordered the Vegetable Pad Thai, 1 1/2 star. Despite it being 1 1/2 star, it tasted more like medium spicy. My husband ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, and preferred the vegan version. Very flavorful, veggies were cooked to perfection with a slight crunch. This is our new favorite thai spot for a low key night. I only gave the restaurant four stars because the décor is lacking, and server could have been more attentive.

Not sure about the bad reviews here as I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Since it is so close by, we eat here as often as we can. It's my favorite Thai restaurant in Jupiter.
