Our dinner tonight was a true pleasure. From appetizers to the Main Meal, from the wine recommendation to the dessert recommendation, all deserve 5 stars. The food tonight was - delicious! This was the first time we have visited Cafe Des Artistes, and it certainly won't be the last. Wonderful Food, lovely ambiance. Kudos to the Chef!

Good place. Outdoor sitting available. Delicious French bread (sometimes). Food is a 3.5-4. Good selection of wine. I recommend it.

Went to have dinner with a friend. Ordered muscles in garlic wine broth. My friend ordered a seafood dish. Both meals arrived ice cold. We called our waiter, who in turn called the manger. We got a very nonchalant reception from the manager with very little interest in our cold food. The waiter came back and we insisted the meals be replaced with fresh cooked meals. They went back to the kitchen and came back out cold, a couple of minutes later. They were retuned for the second time and brought back with the same result. We all know the muscles are ordered from the supplier and are heated by being tossed in the broth on the burner. I ate a few muscles as did my friend eat 2 scallops. We were still walloped with the expensive bill. I have graduated as the top student from Florida Culinary Institute and know the value of great food and "and quality customer service". A French accent isn't the answer. Having received none of the aforementioned, I will not be recommending the "French restaurant"

Waterfront restaurant on US1 in Jupiter. Classic French Bistro perfect for moules frites or steak au poivre. Romantic interior tables or outdoor seating overlooking the Jupiter Yacht Club and Marina. Great for breakfast & lunch, too. Call for opening hours if coming during the day.

We live at Jupiter Yacht Club and find Cafe Des Artiste to be a spectacular place. The food is always first rate, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is casually elegant. This is one of our go to spots and one of the places we always bring friends and family when they visit.

This place really is quite stunning. We returned for our anniversary dinner. Our server this evening was Agnes. She is truly a gem. Everything we ordered came with beautifully told stories. She was very opinionated (and very correct) when it came to French wines. The mussels were drenched in butter/wine/garlic sauce, the pommes frites were crunchy and loved swimming in the leftover sauce. Dessert was killer -- we couldn't decide whether the pineapple tart special or the usual Tart Tartin was better. Le cafe, you guys are just amazing. I can't wait to dine with you again.

We went with friends the other night for dinner. It was our first time there and we had a great time. Our waiter was excellent. The giant bucket of mussels was delicious as were the endive salad and the scallops. My "picky" husband said the duck l'orange was the best he ever had. Looking forward to going back.

If you are in the mood for a little slice of Paris this is the place for you. My wife and I love the atmosphere inside and out but our favorite is inside. You feel like you are in a small Parisian bistro. The food is truly memorable and service is great. The place was packed so we ate at the bar and had great service. I had a NY strip with peppercorn sauce and pomme fries aka French fries, it was great. Their fries are simply awesome. My wife had red snapper on special and she absolutely loved it. It as beautifully cooked and presented with delicious sides to go with it. My wife also had a simple house salad to start which she loved and I had the French onion soup that was wonderfully delicious and worth a trip back alone. We joked that this restaurant may become our new favorite spot except for one thing. It was a bit pricey. My NY strip was $34 served with just fries I thought it was a bit overpriced. We will diffidently be back but not as often as I would like to because of the price.

My favorite lunch spot in Jupiter! Love the French accents and Parisian sandwich! Amazing views of the yachts and cute stores nearby.

This is a lovely little bistro, their description, in the middle of the Jupiter Yacht Club. There are tables indoors and outside, with a view of the yacht club and very large yachts. The attraction for me is that this is one of the few places we can visit by boat. There are some day-slips reserved for the restaurant which makes this a fun place to go, especially when bringing out-of-town guests. My husband and I arrived there in our little (21 ft.) boat-club boat. Comparing our boat to the huge yachts, we were like "an ant in an elephant parade" as we like to joke, but that's fine. We can enjoy the same waters and same restaurants as the "big dogs." We brought another couple with us, friends who have spent a great deal of time in France. We thought this would be a place they would enjoy. They did. She is a cook and has taken cooking classes in France. The menu can be a little pricey for our pocketbooks but we kept it simple with a light lunch, instead of dinner, and shared a bottle of wine, very typically French. We sat outside in the shade of the very generous umbrellas. The view is posh and relaxing. We had the Salmon and the Croque-Monsieur sandwiches, all of which were excellent. The wait staff was very attentive, the food was delicious and presented well. My friend, the cook, said it was the best Croque-Monsieur she has ever eaten! We will definitely return and will again arrive by boat. Hope that helps!

We started going here as a lunch recommendation. Having lived in Paris for 4 years, this place brought us right back to those times in France. Authentic French bistro cooking, whether you choose lunch or dinner with wines to match. Atmosphere and service are both outstanding. Lunch is an easy walk-in with daily specials added to a solid menu. For dinner reservations are a must, unfortunately they do not take reservations for 2's. The result can be a disappointingly long wait. All in all, one of our favorite places, we visit at least once per week.

This rating is for breakfast only as I feel that people should know that this is absolutely positively NOT a breakfast place and it should not come up in breakfast searches on Yelp. I had been there for lunch and it was great so naturally I assumed that breakfast would be the same or better. This place is only open for breakfast because they are getting ready for lunch and dinner and figure they can make a few extra bucks. There isn't even a breakfast menu. I wanted to take my girl somewhere nice and I ended up looking pretty foolish. We even joked around about how I took her out for a "fancy French bread breakfast" because that was one of the things they served besides quiche. Bread was actually an entree that they charged $4.95 for (and it was nothing to write home about). The quiche was good but unless they actually serve breakfast with an actual menu with more than bread and quiche as an offering, I recommend that Cafe Des Artistes only opens for lunch and dinner and leaves breakfast alone.

This cafe is a great find. Thank you, fellow Yelpers. I had a lovely endive, arugula, seafood salad. The wine selection was plentiful. The view from the patio on a sunny day is quaint. You see water and yachts. Service was attentive and polite. My only warning is that this cafe is on the expensive side. I recommend checking out their menu online before you choose to go. It will provide you with expectations of pricing.

Had some amazing asparagus quiche overlooking some beautiful boats. Super friendly people!

Excellent spot. I was really surprised by this place - it was really good and authentic, surrounded by american convenience and landscaped developments. The food was great - the mozareela was so fresh and tasty. The french onion soup was rich and sweet. The Supreme de Poulet a L'Estragon was richer than I thought it would be, but very flavorful and well prepared. The Moules Marinieres was excellent and the pommes frites tasted amazing with the moules sauce. Inside its very different than the typical Jupiter restaurant. It is very french in all the right ways. Its decorated, but not over the top and the people working there are welcoming and actually french.

Very very good food. Beautiful atmosphere. But holy cow the prices! $400 for three poeple. Enough said!

Whoa! I couldn't believe it. T and I were not waiting 2 hours to get into the Food Shack and what a lucky night that turned out to be. We happened upon Cafe Des Artistes walking around the Jupiter waterfront area and the only thing that sets this aside from being actually in France would be, well of course the customers, and cigarette smoke. Being inside felt so authentic, they really did a great job designing this place. Service staff were courteous and professional, the owner was having a great time trying to find seating for the barrage of people trying to get in this here. We sat at the bar (usually the best service in a restaurant in my opinion) and ordered Champagne and dinner. T was feeling vegetarian that evening and they have a plate on the menu that includes all the veg du jour and it was fantastic. I had the Salmon and I don't eat so much Salmon in restaurants. It was fresh and perfect just like finding this place in Jupiter, FL.

This is a pretty high-end casual French bistro restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is most definitely a tourist attraction in Jupiter, Florida and it is all about the French aroma here with a very beautiful water view of the boats and dock. For dinner, my friends and I sat outdoors right under the music speaker so it seemed pretty loud. In case you are easily offended in any way shape or form, do expect the atmosphere, menu prices to be expensive, and servers to have the French attitude. Although, I found our server, Steven/Stephen(sp?), to be very respectful and well-mannered when treating the lady first with her needs. The restaurant is run and owned by the French and during the summer it is closed for two months because the owners travel to France. Our server was very patient and gave us plenty of time to decide what we wanted to order. He was also very helpful in translating some of the names on the menu in French for me. Steven was very attentive, well-mannered, and polite when taking our orders and serving our meals to us. Also, attentive to refilling our drinks and checking up on us to make sure everything tasted the way it should and how we were all doing. The menu foods were delicious. We started out with a basket of French bread (so delicious and fresh!) and a small bowl of butter followed by the carrot and ginger soup. It is not as deliciously made as Brule Bistro in Downtown Delray Beach, but it was sweet and creamy. I'm not a fan of ginger but it was pretty well-made, it just did not give me the craving to clean my bowl spick and span. Also, the soup is served hot so be sure to take short sips from the spoon instead of hurrying to down the soup. You will want to keep your taste buds fresh for when dessert comes around! Maybe it was my appetite tonight that I wasn't feeling much of anything on the menu or that I have high elite expectations but I played it safe and just had a mixed green salad which only came with mixed green leaves, a light dressing, and two small pieces of tomato which I wasn't very impressed because I was expecting it to be unique than any other places that served salad and at least a bit more pieces of tomato wouldn't hurt, right? My boyfriend had the duck meal which was phenomenally delicious. The duck was well-cooked and soft. His duck meal came with sweet potato, potato bits, spinach and asparagus but the server had mentioned ahead of time that the kitchen was out of asparagus... but later brought a bowl of deliciously cooked asparagus for our table, lol he said it was taken from the chef's dinner plate. A friend of ours ordered a salmon meal which came with sides of white rice and spinach. I didn't finish much because I wanted to save room to try their desserts! We tried the mixed fruit tart, flourless chocolate cake, and creme brulee. I'm not a fan of chocolate so my favorites were the mixed fruit tart and the creme brulee although the chocolate cake was delicious as well. The mixed fruit tart comes with kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries; it is uber sweet so be prepared! The flourless chocolate cake is served warm and the chocolate is really deep. When you take a bite out of it, you will know what I mean! The creme brulee tastes like what a creme brulee tastes like. The top thin part is made from caramelized sugar so it is crispy and hard. Be careful when you eat it because it will stick to the bottom of your teeth and or poke your gums but it's really delicious and super sweet as well. The unisex restroom is small and simple. A lot of pictures on all of the walls to look at while you are doing your business and the floor, sink, and toilet are kept very clean, tidy, and professional-looking. Thumbs up for the restaurant's logo of the waitress having 6 fingers on his left hand. Other than that, the logo seems legitimate and creative from an artist's point of view.

While we have not yet had a chance to dine here for for dinner, my husband and I absolutely love this place for lunch. The fact that it's waterfront dining is obviously fabulous, but the food is equally spectacular! We always ask to sit in Julian's section, as he is our favorite waiter. I typically get the Parma (proscuitto and fresh mozzerella) sandwich, while my husband has a grilled chicken and fresh mozzarella sandwich with a pesto spread and a side of French fries. Both meals are incredibly fresh and so delicious! Their baguettes are always perfectly crunchy. For dessert, we love the flourless chocolate cake, which is served warm, with ice cream. All in all, this is, without question, one of the best places to eat in the Jupiter area. Its very reminiscent of a French restaurant you'd see in New York, our hometown. We're determined to stop by for dinner before they close for the summer!

After the waiter spilled an entire glass of cranberry juice on one of the ladies staining her sweater set and pants without any offer to pay for the cleaning it was all downhill. My ice tea came but I had to ask for sugar. Then had to ask for a spoon to stir the sugar. Then had to send him to find a straw. When the waiter refreshed the ice tea he filled it with no ice at all. Had to request ice for the flat tea. Other Lady ordered a cranberry and soda and it cost $8.50 because they had no soda and charged $5.00 for a bottle of San Pelligrino water plus $3.00 for cranberry juice which as mentioned they spilled on the first lady. All the food was al carte so the bill was high if a salad or side dish were ordered. Presented all this to the manager who was unapologetic and again never offered any compensation for the ruined night out.

I adore the atmosphere and menu at Cafe Des Artistes. The specials, food quality, service and ambiance are always impressive. It's a romantic little restaurant where reservations are recommended. I would suggest the mussels and sea bass but every dish is amazing. A great date spot!

Lovely place, good food, not inexpensive.

Fabulous Atmosphere expecially if you can secure a table outside lokking at the Yachts. Have had many wonderful meals here over the past 5 years and only on occassion have been disappointed. However, between the wonderful atmosphere and the friendly staff and owners you feel like you've been transported to the South of France. This French Bistro is a gem.

I've been here for lunch and dinner. I've taken croissants and other pastries to go. I've brought family here. The food (and wine) on every visit have been wonderful. The giant bucket of mussels comes with what seems like a quart of white wine/garlic sauce that my table polished off completely with 2 loaves of french bread. On my last visit, we requested the mussels entree to be served as an appetizer for the entire table... it was well received. Servers there have always made us feel very welcome, and the ambience is truly inviting. Will be back often!
