Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Came on a Saturday, where they have a 2-1 on beers for the CFB games. Win. Ordered 10 wings and a cold chicken cutlet sub. The wings were solid as discussed in other posts, the hot is not overpowering so if you enjoy spicy, get the hot. Their bread is really good, their sub was very enjoyable. A touch more expensive than expected, but will be back for sure. It's a trip back to some childhood memories of pizza shops while growing up. 80's music blaring in the back ground, the kids of the owner taking orders and cleaning tables. The owner having a personal conversation with alma or every customer that came in during lunch. Good food, great environment. Will definitely be back.

Been eating at this restaurant since the early 1990's. It is local family-owned, and just about everything tastes like it is made in-house. Favorites: Pepperoni bread, Garlic rolls, Calamari, Pizza, Gorganzola salad, and the Michaelangelo. Be sure to finish your meal with an order of Zeppoles - they melt in your mouth! If you're looking for a homemade Italian meal in northern Palm Beach County, and like to support local businesses as I do, you'll love this place!

Very good pizza and decent salad. If get the salad I would do the Meditteranean and not the basic. Definitely stay away from the chicken strips which are frozen and heated up for the salad. Good place for kids and families.

I've been eating at Angelo's since they opened over 25 years ago. I've tried everything on the menu and its all delicious. My recent favorite dish is the chicken gorgonzola salad with their homemade dressing. Get the garlic rolls to go with it. They are addicting. I think I can eat a dozen of those things. Angelo's has everything and if you don't see it on the menu, the staff will make it for you. If you haven't tried Angelo's you need to!

My husband and I read the reviews and despite the negative review, decided to give it a try. I should have listened to the negative review. Horrendous is being too kind. The place is run by inexperienced teenagers, who eventually show up to take your order as though they are doing you a favor. I ordered eggplant parmesan and in my entire life, I did not know it was possible to make eggplant slices thinner than a dime. The sauce tasted as though it had been sitting around for longer than it should have. Even the pasta tasted off! My husband had the chicken parmesan and said that it was like eating a piece of cardboard. Worst restaurant so far in the area.

One thing I love about Florida is that there are a lot of great pizza choices. Angelo's is hands down the best in the Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens area.

Ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. They have different sizes, I ordered a small which was just enough for 2 ppl, but at $15 bucks, I was expecting a lot more. I can't speak for how they make all their pizzas, but there were quarter sized (and 2 quarters thick) chunks of roasted garlic under the cheese. Now, I'm an Italian from NY, and I like my garlic, but this was so overpowering I couldn't eat it. I would expect chunks of garlic in a nice clam or marinara pasta sauce, but NEVER on a pizza aside from maybe a little grounded fine in the sauce. At least I can rest easy tonight, knowing that I am safe incase of a vampire revolution!

ANGELO'S - PIZZA IN JUPITER JUST DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER Everybody loves pizza. Or at least they should. I grew up a couple hours west of Chicago and have had my fill of thick crust pies. Pizzerio Uno been there. Gino's East done that. But my love has always been the thin crust version and nobody does in better in Jupiter than Angelo's. They have been here for a long time, over 25 years. And if they keep putting out pies like this they will be here for a lot longer. We always ask for ours "extra thin" and Angelo's is always happy to take a small crust and stretch it into a large and accomplish what we like. The sauce is excellent, the toppings are fresh and you see our favorite in the picture: ham and mushroom extra thin. Call me boring. Call me repetitive. But please bring me a ham and mushroom stretched extra thin. On the table you will find crushed oregano, grated cheese and red pepper flakes and I use them all. There is also garlic but I don't use that. I like it like I like it and Angelo's fits the bill whenever I need a pie . Service is OK, the house wine is OK but that pizza. Angelo's isn't just a pie place although I don't waver. We have tried the Penne ala Vodka and it is good. We usually have a tossed salad and it too is good. But that pizza...it's sooooo good. The house wine is OK but that pizza. I've even been known to sneak out the front door with a Cannoli and enjoyed every bite when I got home. But that pizza. We have options here in the Northern Palm Beaches but for me pizza night is Angelo's night. We don't take out as I don't think any pie travels well. I am at times pushed into another pizza joint and every time they disappoint. Give me Angelo's. Every time. Ham and mushroom extra thin. PLEASE!

Before I even lived here, one of the movers who came to pick up my stuff told me he used to live in Jupiter and specifically told me that Angelo's was the best pizza. I didn't immediately try it because I was swayed by a couple restaurants with higher-star ratings from my fellow yelp-ers. What a mistake! This is definitely a go-to for the future. In fairness, I ordered carry-out, so I can't speak to the service when eating in the restaurant, but the pizza has been my favorite around here!

We ordered takeout at 8:35 pm on a Sunday evening and our food arrived piping hot and excellent less than 30 minutes later. The Chicken Michaelangelo and Chicken parmesan were excellent. We will definitely order again from Angelo's soon!
(5)Christine L.
Love this place for a quick slice. Off the beaten path, in a weird spot, but crazy good.
(5)Jill L.
We visited Angelo's again this weekend; however we got take-out. I placed our order in the afternoon and it was ready right on time when we arrived. We had a buffalo chicken pizza, meat pizza, and spinach calzone. All were delicious! This will be our go-to place for good, local pizza!

Had Mona Lisa (the penne, with a beautiful pink tomato sauce, not the girl), but the dish was delicious (don't know about the girl). Good salad and Chianti. Good garlic knots. Poor cannoli (should never order it after Casa Mia). Pleasant if unspectacular meal.

This was find. The restaurant has been around for a really long time. Garlic knots are awesome and the cheese pizza was really good. The service was very friendly.

I was at the pet store next door and seeing this little Italian place in the same strip mall gave me an instant craving for pizza! We ordered a thin crust pizza with mushrooms and green peppers. It took about 25 to 30 minutes to get the pizza, which seemed long for a thin crust and considering there were only a few other patrons at the time. The pizza was decent, truly thin and non greasy, as real pizza ought to be, but in terms of taste nothing to rave about. The waitress seemed constantly rushed and never brought any refills. The inside of the restaurant is dated and a little depressing. I suppose this place is a-ok if you live in the neighborhood but not worth a special trip for it.

best pizza in the area by far! we are serious pizza people from new York. been to John's, Totonno's, Arturo's that are literally the first pizza shops in the country and still operating by the same families. this is among the best non coal fired pizza I have had anywhere. prices are actually too low for the quality. we usually eat there to get it fresh from the oven before the box changes it. very pleasant clean little dining room .beer always ice cold. everything we have tried has been homemade and outstanding, actually better than we have experienced in most full blown Italian restaurants in the area. we certainly do not understand the negative reviews

Whenever I miss my Italian Nona, I eat lunch at Angelo's. The food is excellent. Try their Sicilian slice or the pasta Fagiole. And their garlic knots are perfect--crispy and garlicky. They also have a lunch special that can't be beat in price. The service is very personable and professional. Also the environment is cozy. I could eat there very day.

Great meal at a great price. Didn't feel like cooking so the hubby and I made it to the early bird special tonight, a great piece of lasagna and he had the cheese ravioli with soup or salad and desserts and coffee under $10 a person! Can't go wrong! Quaint, cozy place with a great caring staff! A must eat at kinda place!
(5)Mary K.
Worst meat calzone EVER!! Mostly dough with a small amount of meat and mozzarella cheese almost non existent! Didn't have any ricotta cheese ... Awful! Veal piccata was fair. Good soup and chocolate cake was excellent
(1)Cindy D.
We've eaten there before and it's been better, but recently we had a large thin crust pizza that was very, very soggy in the center. And then they were going to charge us $1 to pay the bill with a credit card! Ridiculous. We will not be going back.

I have lived in the north end of Palm Beach County since 1987, and until I read a previous review on Yelp, I had not even heard of Angelo's...not one time. The restaurant is located in a small strip center on north side of Toney Penna Drive, in Jupiter. There is ample free parking. The restaurant opened in 1988, and again, I had no knowledge that it existed. I am glad that I discovered it, and wanted to share some of my comments. As you can imagine from being located in a strip center, the rent is not likely that high, so prices are very reasonable across the board for everything. I hate it when Italian restaurants charge huge amounts for basic food. Remember when Little Italy in NYC was once a pleasure to stroll through and have a decent dinner for a reasonable price? Today, you could spend over $40.00 for a small plate of spaghetti. And, I don't care what went into it, the dish is still spaghetti. Only a sucker would pay such a price for cooked pasta. Angelo's is family owned and operated. Angelo, the owner is almost always there going back and forth from the kitchen to the customers making sure everything is right. You know that if the owner is closely watching things, your food and service will be there too. I have been there several times now, and can say that the pizza is excellent, as are the wings. And, oh yes, the spaghetti is good too. By the way, the spaghetti is priced under $12.00, unless you want to add sausage or some meatballs. One of the aspects of Angelo's that is difficult to describe is the wonderful "atmosphere" of the restaurant. I really believe that the entire family works there. Plus, there's the usual yelling in the kitchen, servers bringing out food orders, regulars being greeted by first name, and people watching sports on TV as though they have money on it. But, I am getting off topic. I loved the atmosphere, and I felt welcome. Very casual, come as you are. If there is any short coming, I was disappointed to learn that there is only one beer on tap...Budweiser. If you're a Bud fan, great. I prefer Miller, and just really prefer it out of a keg. They do provide ice-cold mugs to our your beer into which helps. Anyway, if you have not tried Angelo's, stop by sometime and experience it for yourself.

We waited 1:45h for delivery of three pizzas after offering to pick them up if it would be faster. The round pizzas were just ok. They were on the salty side and very average. The Sicilian pie was better but not worth the wait.

This place is terrible! First, the old lady at the cash register NEEDS to be fired. She might be in charge or a central figure at this place but she is a complete idiot and had no respect for customers. My most recent visit, she stood at the cash register counting receipts while I stood there waiting to pick up my pizza. she was fully aware I was there but didn't give one hoot. When it was time to get my pizza, I noticed that they made me the wrong pizza although the idiot at the front insisted they hadn't made a mistake. It wasn't until the pizza guy at the oven noticed on the receipt that they were wrong and apologized. They offered to make me a new one but since it was busy they said it would be 20-30 minutes. No thanks! My first visit about a year earlier was a little different. They got the order right but the pizza was over cooked and not good at all. In the end, I won't even bother considering this place again. There are so any other good pizza places to go around here. Hope this place goes out of business and saves all of us the hassle.

I read about Angelo's here on Yelp and decided to try it out. I'm glad I did! Fortunately, I live close enough to walk there, so I'm a regular now. I almost always order pizza. I've recently switched my allegiance from regular crust to the deep dish sicillian. I'm not sure exactly why, perhaps it's that if I'm going to spoil my diet with pizza...go big, or go home! I've also popped in for lunch a time to two, and they have some good lunch deals like small pasta dishes and slices. I can recommend the garlic knots (rolls). Yummy, but beware of the oil. This is not diet food! :) The roquefort salad is one of my favorites. The dressing is delicious (I think made in house), and there's never a shortage of roquefort crumbles. As for the dine-in experience, the decor is little uninspired, but who needs decor when the pizza's good! The service can be a bit spotty, but is generally good. It's pretty much HS kids who run the front of the house, so they sometimes seem a little less organized than one would hope. Overall, I like it, and will continue to go there. It's a treat to find a local independent pizza shop with a real neighborhood feel. Don't let its strip mall location near the railroad track dissuade you, Angelo's customers are loyal.

Don't let the storefront of this small strip center dissuade you from stopping in for a comfortable meal in this neighborhood pizzeria. Their thin crust pies are excellent and I will put their Vodka Sauce on Penne up against any you will find anywhere. The buttery garlic knots they bring out before the pasta are top notch and addictive.
