I usually wait to write my reviews, so that I have visited the establishment a number of times. I have been here about 6 times now and have never had a bad experience in any way. The food is always fantastic, hot, and delicious. We always order off the bar menu because as a teacher it's affordable. Shrimp tacos, 6 Oz sirloin dinner, chicken quesadillas, and fried pickles are just a few of the items we've ordered and devoured. Whether we have sat at the bar or high top table the service has been stellar every time. If I am honest, we went for first time during a rush and it was a bit loud between the chatter of patrons and the piano player. Please bring back your warm chips you served when greeted at the bar! Craving them so bad. They were a big reason we loved going. It was our guilty cheat/pleasure for sure!

My husband and I stopped in here this evening and were seated right away. The dining room was empty except for one table. There was a DJ/karaoke going on in the bar area that was extremely loud. I could barely have a conversation. I'm not sure if it was the noise or absentmindedness, but our waitress forgot to put in our appetizer order and ended up just bringing out our entrees. Our food didn't take long, but we were kind of annoyed by the noise level in the bar so we decided not to say anything about the missed appetizer. The food was good, and hot. I was pretty disappointed though, I've been to other Tony Roma's where the ambiance was much better.

Be sure to check out their daily Specials, they all run between $8.-$12. and come with your choice of 3 salads, I had the huge Shrimp Scampi and Shelley had my salad which was a meal by itself. Their cocktails are happy hour prices all day long!

Service took forever.. My first margarita had a chip of glass in it and it took the manager until the check came out to do a 'table touch.' My grilled peach salad had canned peaches, and onions were the only vegetables other than the romaine. Unfortunately, our server was having a bad night: forgot to bring out silverware, app plates, told me the wrong soup of the day so brought out the other and promised it would be free yet it was still on the bill. Charged my boyfriend for each seltzer water rather than unlimited. Bad experience.

Has to be the nicest place in Jensen Beach proper. Forget all the others. This is clean, neat, organized and the prices in the bar side are the best. I go there by myself and w/ friends sometimes to hear the great piano music of "Jack" the best lounge player in JB hands down. There has been some changes of late but the best thing that has been done is to bring their ace bartender back, "Kendall" a bar is made by two things good prices and great bartenders, now they have both. Keep her in charge of the bar staff and things will only get better. Prices are reasonable for the food and the staff well trained.

Went last night, stayed outside in patio area. The food was fantastic. We had some happy hour ( all day long) appetizers. Chicken quesadilla, shrimp tacos, fried pickles, potato skins. All were excellent. We also ordered dinner. Shrimp scampi, beef scewers, shrimp salad The food was excellent & so was the service. Our waiter was great. He was very attentive & constantly kept coming back to see what we needed. A great place to go & relax & enjoy some great food!

My girlfriend and I's first time going to TR was last night and doubt we'll be back. The food was nothing special. We ordered the sampler to start. Followed by baby back ribs and medallions with a side of broccoli, bacon Mac and cheese for her. Full slab of baby back ribs with a side of loaded mash potatoes, and bacon Mac and cheese for myself. The sampler was a sample of what was to come, nothing special. It includes onion loaf, bites and spinach and artichoke dip with chips. Onion loaf is made of very thin sliced onions that are heavily battered. Very messy. The bites, made of chicken, again are heavily breaded and drown in sauce. Reminded me of something that would come from a drive thru. The spinach artichoke dip was watered down. Very similar to dip from the frozen food department of a grocery store. On to the main course. Let's start with the ribs. Far from fall of the bone. Rip of the bone yes. Slightly over cooked to the point they just started to dry out. If you think you're getting BBQ ribs here you are not. No smoke ring in the meat. Now her steak medallion, this again should have been a red flag. When they brought the food to the table. They told her to cut into the steak right away, to see if they were cooked correctly. You are never supposed to cut into your steak right away, it is supposed to settle. Good thing she did. They were over cooked. They were ordered med-rare and came out med-well. They went back without a problem. I don't know if it was due to a new cook on hand or if this was standard TR practice. To have you cut it right away seems odd practice. The sides. Bacon? Mac and cheese, nope. Dried out Mac and cheese with burnt Bread crumbs on top. Yes. Not sure where the bacon was located. The loaded potatoes and her broccoli were good. The broccoli was fresh and colorful and my potatoes were nice and creamy with a good mix of toppings. Would I go out of my way or recommend going here again. Not really. The staff was friendly and the place was clean. Just not what we expected the food to be. If we were in the neighborhood and someone wanted to go there. I would give them a second shot but I would offer an alternative first. -side note when the manager (well we assume he was a manager) walked to the table apologize about the over cooked steaks. He never introduced himself. Didn't say who he was or anything. We thought he was a customer at first.

Wow! A lot of bad reviews. I can understand why. I like beef ribs and have ordered them at Tony Roma's locations all over the country. Every other time I received a rack of reasonably tasty beef ribs. But at Jensen Beach Tony Roma's I received some sort of overcooked, very salty meat just sitting on top of a bone. Not only that, it had gravy on top rather than BBQ sauce. Aren't franchises supposed to have consistency between different locations? The restaurant was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly, but I was very disappointed in these so-called beef ribs. My dog ended up getting an $18 dinner.

Against my better judgment, we returned on Thursday night, October 3 for dinner at Jensen BeachTony Roma's using gift certificates. It's a sorry day when you are saying to your partner before you go into a restaurant, "This probably will not be good." When we walked in we both noticed a strong odor that I can only describe, unfortunately, as nursing home. I'm not hating on our older folk because yes, I'm quickly headed there myself. The last few times (I must be a glutton for punishment) the restaurant smelled of a strong, unpleasant cleaner. Now it smelled like urine and the nasty cleaner. ugh. Now I'm thinking, why doesn't a dinnertime, busy restaurant that serves steaks and ribs, smell like something tasty? such as savory food? When I merely toast bread my home smells like it's on fire. Nevertheless, we stayed and were waited on by a brand new server that I assume hasn't been jaded yet. Very friendly and tried to be accommodating. But nothing can make up for poor quality food. Again for the third visit to this restaurant, the dinner salad was the best thing about the meal. The bread was bland as usual. We asked for real butter. It tasted like lard. Because I expressed a desire for some sort of steak, the server recommended the filet mignon medallions. I remembered after I ordered them that the one time I ordered them before they were flavorless. I hoped this time might be different. hahaha. Even though cooked medium, they had very little flavor. The only thing with flavor was the wild mushroom topping. The accompanying loaded potatoes were ugly, runny and lumpy. It's a sad day when you have two people that don't want to finish three little pieces of steak. As if I couldn't be more naïve (hopeful?), I asked the server if any of the desserts were made on premise (versus shipped in/frozen). She said the cookies dessert and the cobbler. I ordered dessert of the fruitless cobbler that was supposed to contain peaches and berries. Well, at least the picture of the cobbler looked like that. hahaha. It came to the table with a bluish substance stained on the side. (Fruit microwaved to vapor maybe?) She suggested we be careful, that it was very hot. It was rock hard on top and basically a thick layer of too sweet topping and maybe one teeny tiny piece of fruit. $7. And to boot, it was served with a dirty spoon. We asked that it be taken off our bill of $60. She said she would tell a manager about it. A manager never showed up. My friend told me yesterday that many years ago, in Miami, Tony Roma's was the place to go to have dinner. She said she won't go to the Jensen Beach Tony Roma's anymore either. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. No one with functioning taste buds can describe this as good food. Does Tony Roma's want people questioning their own judgment about how food should taste? Must one be influenced by several alcoholic beverages and not care how their food tastes? Surely Tony Roma's does not want to be the one hit wonder of the restaurant world. Deep clean the place; hire conscientious managers and helpful servers. Contract for tastier cuts of meat; better quality sides. I think you can. Success means happy, returning customers established to share the good news of tasty food.

Being a Texas transplant to Flordia was really looking forward to another Tony Roma's experience. However that experience was beyond bad! The ribs were dry and had little meat, the onion loaf was too moist...needed the onions cut smaller. The drinks were great, but that was the extent of the good. My wife's hamburger meat tasted old and freezer burned, the bun was toasted on the grill that had not been cleaned. Good news great drinks and nice view....so much potential.

I visit Jensen beach one a year . I love eating ribs and usually visit flanigans. I wanted to try something different this year and go with tony Roma's in Jensen beach . The service was ahh which is the only reason they get 2 stars , The waitress was friendly but slow and not attentive. The food for everyone at my table was burnt . I cant believe they brought everyones food out this way . I complained and the manager brought me out a new properly cooked plate about 15 minutes later by then i was no longer hunger. The manager was nice enough to discount my plate . I wouldn't go back their again and probably wont ever visit another Tony Roma's

The Happy hour is great they have 2 for 1 beers and a $5 menu in the bar only. They also offer a children's menu. Our waitress Jenn was fabulous we definitely will request her on our next visit. The food was Excellant so sad to see so many negative comments! We will definitely be back soon!!

I have never heard of Tony Roma's until I got some gift certs from my daughter. What a great place! We had great service from our waitress and the food was prepared quickly. I had the memphis burger, which I absolutely loved, and my wife had the medallion filet steaks, she said they were great too. I will definitely go again in the future and try some of the other things on the menu.

Went last night for dinner. The onion loaf was good. There were four of us, two had St. Louis ribs and two had baby back ribs. The ribs were so overcooked there was almost no meat left. they were tough and almost inedible. The coleslaw had no flavor. about the only good thing was the loaded mashed potatoes and they were alright. The next time I want ribs, I'll go to PA Barbeque.

My Fiance and I ate here on a recent Saturday night about 9 p.m.. We had been told by others that they had a great experience. We both had the two filet medallions with the half rack of baby back ribs. We both thought the ribs were excellent but the steaks were a little dry. The loaded mashed potatoes, corn on the cobb, wild rice, and cesar salad were all very good also. The service was good but a bit on the slow side. They would've gotten a 5 star if the steaks were better and the service a bit speedier. All in all, it was a great visit and we'll be back.

When Tony Roma's (Jensen Beach) first opened in May of 2011, we thought this is just as good as our favorite in Orlando, but over their first year they have gone from one of our favorites to a place we can not recommend. First, we (a group of 4 to 10) would eat there for lunch at least twice a month (on Saturdays) since they opened. In the last few months the staff trunover has really been noticed and so has the quality of food, drinks, and service. My wife and I always order a "Cadillac Top-Shelf" Margarita during our last few visits we would be served the cheap Romaritas and charged for the "Cadillac". The Cadillac should be served with a lime and orange slice we never get the orange until we asked! It's supposed to be made with Hornitos Resposado Cointreau & Grand Marnier I have to point out that it's missing Grand Marnier (they would then bring it to us on the side) and I'm sure they're using the wrong tequila, because in the beginning they served a Cadillac as good as Orlando. Now for their "world famous ribs". The last 2 times I ordered a slab of baby back ribs with Maker's Mark Bourbon BBQ sauce (one of the 5 signatures BBQ sauces), but when served, I got a small slab overcooked, and soaked with original sauce to makeup for the dryness. They apologized and brought me a side of Marker's BBQ sauce, REALLY! The others that ordered ribs at our table also commented "looks like they are even slipping on the ribs now". One thing for sure the ribs you get don't look anything like the pictures on the menu. I don't blame the staff, it's the management for not properly training the bartenders, waiters, and cooks.

We visited on April 3, 2012 during Rib Madness. If the baby backs they served us were a matter of pride to them:Try again. Silver skin wasn't removed. Overcooked ribs are not to be forgiven. The french fries were soggy & almost inedible. Service was really from hurt. General manager called on 4 April. She was livid over our experience

We went to Tony Roma's last night for dinner. We had always liked this restaurant when there was a location near us in New York, and we were happy to be able to go back. We were not disappointed. I wish I could give the restaurant 3.5 stars, but could not give it 4 because I feel that should be reserved for fine dining. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the food and the experience. We started with salads, my wife having a strawberry pecan salad with a strawberry vinaigrette dressing. I had the house salad with a fat free Italian dressing. The salads were fresh, and the dressings very nice. My wife had barbecued ribs for her main course, which is one of her favorite dishes, and she really enjoyed them. I had mahi-mahi with cajun spice, also very good. I had a very good white wine with dinner, which was also reasonably priced. My wife had Lindemans Lambic Framboise beer, a raspberry-flavored Belgian beer, which she really enjoyed. All in all, we had a very nice dinner with pleasant service. I would highly recommend this place. I would add that I was fairly surprised at the low 2.5 rating on the restaurant. Not only did we think it was good, but it was also quite busy.

The two for one drink special is a scam! You can only get it in their small bar area. We (4 of us) waited for one of their five tables to open but finally asked the manager if we could get the special in their virtually empty dining room and were refused! We ultimately left wondering why they would let paying customers leave rather than accommodating them. We went to Duffy's instead and enjoyed two for one drinks in their dining area!! Hey Tina - I reached out...cricketts!

Just left Tony Roma after our second visit. It's sad, their ribs are great, but their service is seriously lacking. Arrived very early, before 4:30pm. Nobody to greet us at the hostess station. Finally we're lead to our table. Only two other tables were seated. Hostess says, your waiter is ***** and will be right with you. Waiter walks by a few minute later, I'll be right with you. Hostess seats another table (the 4th). She comes right back to that table and asks for their drink orders because the waiter is tied up. yeah, okay, so where's my drink order? Waiter brings them their drinks, says I'll take your order when you're ready. Oh we're ready, said the people. He takes their order and we still haven't been ASKED about our drinks. So finally we order. One dinner totally wrong, other dinner the sides are wrong. Nearly 15 minutes later the 2nd dinner arrived. The icing on the cake... no prices for desserts on the menu, so I asked the server how much they were. He did NOT KNOW! Seriously????????? Come to find out, they're all the same price. It's gotta be me......... how stupid am I to think people actually KNOW THEIR JOBS?

My husband I dined at the Jensen Beach location last evening 3/2/2012. We sat in the bar area and enjoyed listening to the piano music. Our waitress Lucy did a great job f serving us. It was no fault of hers that the ahi tuna appetizer we ordered was over cooked and very fishy tasting. We couldn't eat it. We order ahi tuna as an appetizer or for dinner most everywhere we go that has it on the menu. We had to send it back. The manager, Beth came and apologized and offered us something else, but at this time we knew our food would be out soon so we thanked her for her offer but said no thanks. I ordered the chicken breast with spinach and 4 kinds of cheese. Mediocre at best. The chicken was over done and the strength of the garlic was overpowering. The best thing on the plate was the broccoli. My husband had ribs and as you would expect from a restaurant that specializes in ribs they were good. Because of our overall experience we will probably pass on Tony Roma's in any location in the future.

This is the worst Tony Roma's ever! I had a bad experience last time too. So bad I even wrote a letter. They sent me some gift certificates so I thought I would give them another try. Service was just as bad, to go order no ketchup, no silverware & no napkins! I had to wait for a Manager to approve the use of the certificates while my food was getting cold.

Not good. I remember Tony Romas from years ago. I really liked them back then. They seemed to have left Florida and this was the first one we have seen open in many years in South Florida. I got the St. Louis ribs. It was obvious to me they were boiled and then grilled then slathered with BBQ sauce. I was told a long time ago, that if you can't smell the smoke when you walk in, then leave cause you are not getting BBQ. No smoke here. I was very disappointed. My wife got the BBQ chicken which also tasted processed and she did not lHowever, our friend got a chicken dish with some kind of sauce on it and loved it. The onion brick was ok, but greasy. Service was fine and the restaurant is nice. Being a rib lover, I would never go back.

Met the family there at 5 pm, right before the crowd came. Nice location and nice view. The restaurant is brand new and is very nice. The food was good, not excellent. But defintly good. Had the salmon with shrimp $20. It was good not over cooked. mother n law had the same it was over cooked. The manger came out & brought a fresh piece of salmon and took it of the bill with no question asked. That was impressive! My husband had the the steak flat bread he said it was taste. The staff was excellent, very friendly and attentive. We would go back.

Food was okay and drink prices were amazing! The General Manager was fabulous and willing to do whatever to make the customer happy! Such a nice guy :)

This place is really bad Mahi Mahi over cooked and undercooked broccoli I was taken here but never thought of checking out them on yelp and I paid the bill 175.00 for one of the worst meals of my life

3.5 really. Yes the service is variable, the atmosphere is lacking, but excellent short ribs for $18, how can you go wrong when you bring your own wine!

We dined here this week and had a great experience. The ribs are to die for.

Best cocktail bar in downtown Jensen Beach with views of the river. This restaurant is new so the service is slow. Happy hour menu and late night menu with two for on drinks and cheap bar eats.

Happy hour all day every day during the off season is definitely a plus! The filet medallions and the Ribs at Tony Roma's is the best meal to be had in Jensen Beach! We will return and recommend Tony's to all of our friends!
