BEST WINGS IN JAX. I've had 'em all over, and these are the best I've come across. Avoid the 50-cent wings, the bartender told me they got sold a batch of small ones and sell them on special to get rid of them. Pay full price - it's worth it!!! Big and meaty, great sauces, and if you get them breaded you will not be able to eat them all. Their pizzas are solid too - not phenomenal, but really good. Drinks are affordable and staff is friendly.

Great local spot! Awesome place for a group of people. If you do go with a group of people, it's the perfect place to be loud and just have fun. They do have a pretty decent selection of TV's if you like sports. If you go there for food, I recommend their wings (Time Out sauce) and their pizza. Their other food items are OK! Their drinks and bartenders are solid! They've been known for their $5 pitchers of Long Islands. Definitely a great time with a bunch of friends!

We weren't here for too long, but weren't excited to stay either. They did have a good amount of televisions for all you sports fans. A group of us came in late night just for drinks. They had specialty liquor drinks in pitchers that were made way too strong. After bringing one group member a to go order and his bill, the waiter nevsr returned. Our friend just had to get someone else to pay his bill. Overall we just weren't impressed.

Great local spot! I went back thinking the first visit was a fluke....it wasn't! Great service and atmosphere. Plenty of TV's. Trivia with a 100 dollar gift certificates give away on Wed,Fri. I had the Caesar salad, quesadilla and fried mushrooms. All came out fast and delicous. I will def go back when I am in Jax!

I am incredibly biased on this place. I love this bar. I've been coming here since college (back in the beer pong days). The food is bar food. Trivia is annoying if you don't play. Their pizza is very effing good. Like seriously. Top three in Jax. They have awesome specials. Avoid it on Fridays, they have $5 pitchers of Long Island. It gets wild. Pool tables and bar games aplenty. Great local spot and non smoking inside which I love. Fun bar to catch the game; tons of TVs. If you're on this side of town check it out.

This is a great spot to grab a beer or watch any sporting event. They have tons of TV and their pizza is actually really good for a sports bar. They always have drink specials and they set up beer pong inside. It's great spot to hang out friends to watch the big game!!! Great local spot!!

It was alright. Beer was expensive, Philly cheesesteak was mediocre. Atmosphere was dark and gloomy, especially for a sports bar. Probably won't be returning.

If you want a relaxed, fun place to hang out with friends: this is the place! No dress code, no hype. Just awesome staff, talented bartenders, strong drinks and delicious food! There are daily specials on drinks and food which is great too. My favorite thing about this place aside from what I mentioned are the pool tables; there's only two but it's old school rules and they're tucked away in the back so you can just chill and play away from the crowd up front. If there's a game you really want to watch, if you all they'll put it in for you on a TV you can see no matter what. Great place!

Our go-to Sports Bar! We love Time Out! It is like our Cheers bar. We feel like everyone knows us when we walk in! We go to Time Out for trivia and football mostly. They are great about knowing their regulars during football season and saving their seats near the TVs showing the games they want to see. Great place to watch the Patriots, Jaguars and Dolphins! The food is consistently good! One surprise is their pizzas. They are some of the best around!

Great service, great drink specials, and surprisingly great food. Some of my favorite wings in the area. I can't get enough $2.50 whiskey cokes (which are poured very generously), bacon cheese fries, $6 beer pitchers, and $5 Long Island pitchers (on Fridays only). Don't listen to the others, this place is a perfect neighborhood spot that's more happening than a dive bar but less hectic than the beach bars. 5 stars!

60 cent wings on sunday? Sign me up!!!! They also have amazing drink specials (i think $3 bacardi mixers) Not sure what its like during football season (I heard it gets crazy packed) but it wasn't crowded when we were there. The bartenders are great, but the kitchen staff must suck because we waited 40 minutes for two orders of wings. If we had paid more I would have complained, but for only 60 cents a wing I probably would have waited an hour. And they also have pool and darts (for only $1)! Can't wait to go back, wish it was closer!

I sat down at the bar...asked for a glass of water and I actually asked for a menu...Not a busy night but had waited 30 minutes (too long to wait? ) and just to make sure the 2 COUPLES who sat next to me afterwards were served and told about the specials and were offered a menu ...I just hope someday people get treated with respect...I hope that is not too hard to ask...

Great place to get your game-day on! The bartending staff is awesome! They have a decent selection of beers (though not much for craft, which is more my style). You really cant beat their happy hour, half-off appetizers. Though it's a lot of fried bar-food, it isn't half bad. I would maybe steer away from the fried broccoli; they're not the usual broccoli bites one might think of. During rugby season, you'll see fans and Axemen team members alike sharing a great time, post-game. This place will get packed and stay that way til closing. Definitely a fun place to have a good time, have a good view of the game and drink a lot of cheap beer! This place is over the ditch, and I've still been known to cross over on a rainy afternoon for a few drinks and snacks with my buds.

I promised to return to Time Out because I did not want one experience to taint my perspective of this place. I am glad that I returned. Although my trivia team was unable to come due to a schedule conflict, I opted to play solo. The wait staff was much more responsive to me and I really enjoyed the food - including the fried mushrooms and the blackened fish tacos. I look forward to going back to Time Out for more trivia and fun. Thanks!

I'm not a sports bar kinda gal, but this place is pretty rocking. Of course you have the beer specials. $3.53 gets you a full pitcher of Long Island Ice Tea, by the way. No, I'm not kidding. A PITCHER of Long Island Ice Tea is only $3.53. Hahaha. A pitcher of beer was about the same price, as well. I ordered a girly drink, but it came out to $6 or $7. Bah Humbug! Lol. (And it wasn't a pitcher.. drat!) The people here are friendly, and really easy to get along with. Even the waitress was really sweet. I ran into a few old friends here, as well. One of them seemed a bit tipsy, though. Haha. This is a great place to go if you don't' want to come out smelling like a chimney. There is no smoking indoors and the cover is FREE. You just have to be over 21. If you get tired of drinking (or you just have crappy tolerance and don't feel like getting sick Lol), they have food. We got nachos for about $6 or so. If you're done with your drink and your food, they aren't done with you yet. Oh no, you can watch the game on many of the TVs all around the place. You can even play some pool for $1 a game, or test your strength on the punching machine thing. ...And then order another drink, because you know you play better when you drink. Lol.

This is the official after party spot for the Jacksonville Axemen Rugby Team! The Axemen's season is in full swing, so I recommend getting a schedule and if not able to attend a match, be sure to hit the after party here at Time Out! The food is pretty good and the beer is cheap! Not to mention during the after party here it can get pretty raucous indeed with all of the local (and non local) rugby players celebrating their win, recounting the losses and just overall experiencing the camaraderie that encompasses this gentlemen's sport. Sometimes Time Out also rebroadcasts the Axemen's match on the big screen so those folks who missed the match can watch it again, cold beer in hand. Parking here during this kind of event can be a pain as the lot doesn't accommodate the large crowd that hits this bar after the Axemen matches, so carpooling to the after party may not be such a bad idea! Even when this bar is packed during these after parties, the service here is still amazing as well!

I could have sworn I had previously reviewed this place, but i guess not. First time, loved it. second through about fourth time, it was fun. Then on about the fifth time ..... there was the jalepeno popper incident. It's not like I'm expecting great food at this place, but we are talking about jalepeno poppers. The waitress at the bar said they were very popular, so I got an order. They looked suprisingly like the jalapeno poppers you can buy frozen, especially at costoc..... but I really like costco poppers. So we're enjoying the game, drinking their cheap drinks, and then the poppers come. I take one bite and something is wrong. I tell me wife, but maybe it's me and not the poppers. I somehow stomach the entire popper when I finally realize that they've gone bad. The cheese inside must have spoiled. (Who knew it was real cheese?!?). I tell the waitress that the poppers are bad, and her response.... "no one has ever complained about the poppers." She doesn't take them away. I tell her I'm done, and that I'm not eating them. She doesn't offer to get something else, and they charge we for them. Now, I know we're talking about probably around $7 so why am I complaining???? It's not the cash, but must not care about my business, so I won't give it to them. I'm not going to buy drinks there anymore and I will never recommend this place to friends. I know a lot of people go here to watch games and after sporting events. The only positives I can think of: there is a lot of room and drinks are cheap. But.... do NOT order food and get your beer in a bottle.
