Great Cuban sandwich, prices are very reasonable and the staff is friendly! I will be back.

I stopped in today cause I have seen the reviews and was in downtown anyway. I'm really into sandwiches for now so I'm out an about trying to find new sammage joints. The sandwich is my always go to meal. Now this place has been here a while I believe. The place is clean and well kept. The young lady and the owner I think were behind the counter taking orders. I looked at the menu and went with a cuban which is tomorrows special. My luck I wanted what is cheaper tomorrow. Anyway it was really good and the cook on the pork was really good. I nice crisp to the meat and had a good flavor. The pickle and the mustard added that little zing that I wanted in this sandwich. The bread was fresh and it too had a slight crisp from being pressed. In all a good sandwich and I will be back for I'm down here all the time. I really don't like the selection in Hemming Park. At least that is till Fusion comes back next week.

UPDATE. Got the philly today it was awesome. Bread super fresh. Caramelized onions flavorful. Very cheesy and filling. My lunch mate said her burger is the best she has had downtown. It did look great! We all loved the perfectly cooked fries. Went there again today for the taco salad with cilantro lime dressing. Very good! Service was quick. Calling order in ahead is a good idea because the line can move slowly. They were closed for a family emergency for a week so if we Yelpers could help them out and choose to try lunch or breakfast there one day soon it could make a big difference in some people's lives. I like to support good mom and pop restaurants.

Went for breakfast, and had a great sausage, egg and cheese sandwhich. Staff was GREAT and very friendly. We're thinki g of going back for a quick cuban or cheesesteak sandwhich before we get on the road to home tomorrow!!!

Had the Cuban Special (Tuesday's Special) and was not disappointed. Well balanced ingredients/flavors, pickles throughout (my biggest complaint with most Cuban sandwiches is 'why you no give me more pickle???'), and every bite was delicious. Saw them slicing the roast pork off a spit (I think they mean it). I usually add hot sauce to everything and did not with this sandwich. Staff were helpful and very friendly. Service was fast (it was not peak hours though). Only thing I was fairly indifferent to was the fries (the bland/boring old fries you'll eat, but not really enjoy...didn't even finish them but that's probably because the sandwich was so great and pretty darn big!). Will go back and will try more!
