So I end up at this place maybe once or twice a year when at the airport. Like most airport restaurants the food is way overpriced ($14+ for a Caesar salad?!), but, the drinks aren't TOO over the top expensive ($7 for a Smirnoff Bloody Mary). On my last visit I had the veggie flat bread. I was hoping for a crispy thin crust pizza type thing, and instead it was more like a rectangle shaped super thin tortilla with some cheese and toppings, with the main topping being grease. It had zero crisp to it and just flipped around. Too bad. Anyways, not the worst airport restaurant I've ever been to, but definitely not hope.

Service was decent. I had the Mahi Mahi Sandwich. It was good but slightly over cooked. The bruschetta was good. Over all good experience. A little pricey but what else would you expect at an airport.

Disgusting, greasy burger.... Should have gone to Burger King instead. Do not eat here!

This place surprised me, terrible service, expensive but very well prepared food. I came for dinner after my flight was cancelled as it was one of the few places open 'til late. Service is definitely not one of their strenghts. I saw they had cachaca and ordered a caipirinha, the waiter who was the barman too did not know what I was talking about. I pointed that and she said that cachaca was for rum and coke... Still I was able to get a caipirinha. The food really surprised me, plates were expensive for airport food ($12-$24 for entrees). I ordered a French Dip, bread was really good, you cannot go wrong with this choice.

Truth told, I've always viewed Jacksonville as being too much of a sprawling human warehouse to offer much in the area of amenity. Early enough for my flight home to have dinner, and in an absolutely awful mood after taming an abusive client, I wasn't expecting much from Sam Snead's. I was very pleasantly surprised. While the service wasn't anything more than typical, overburdened airport cocktail lounge, the crab cake (very good), steak (good) and beer were quite tasty. You don't find bargains at airport eateries, but this meal didn't damage the expense account. The setting was pleasant, perhaps a bit more so for avid golfers, but no complaint from me.

I've eaten here on two occasions. Each time while waiting to board my flight back to NYC. They have a little putting green in the front of the restaurant. We didn't play but their were some kids with a parent that wer having fun on it! The service is average. The waitress made sure we were ok. This last time my bf and I shared the Sam's Turkey Sandwich ($10), bacon on the side cause I am not a pork lover. The menu says with avocado but ours was missing! I also ordered a small house salad which was not on the menu ($5). It was pretty sparse. We also had one beer on tap and a glass of wine. The total with tip was about $47 bucks.

Decided to kick back here to wait for our ride home. We split the Sam's turkey sandwich and onion rings and enjoyed the meal with a couple of draft beers. The sandwich was excellent - generous slabs of turkey, bacon, and avocado. The onion rings were done just right, the beer cold, and the service crisp.

I was a little worried with the limited choices at the JAX airport, but Sam Snead's hit the spot. The service was good and the juicy burger was perfect.

This is not the location were I ate, but one would presume the food is consistent between all locations. I went to the one at JAX airport to grab a beer and a snack. I ordered a lump crab cake. I'd have to drive to Maryland to find better. It was heaven on a plate. I'm VERY serious about my crab and this is the very best blue crab cakes I've ever eaten. It was hard to identify any filler, what so ever, just full of sweet lump cluster meat. Mouth watering just writing this...

Nasty smell wafts out from this place. Wouldn't dream of ordering a drink let alone eating here

Restaurants on the run... I like this place! When I'm traveling and at the airport, only a few things are really important to me... #1 is time and #2 is food, and good food is preferable. Here's the short & sweet version -seated immediately -drinks and water out within 3-5 minutes -entrees within 10 minutes after drinks -friendly, efficient service -check available upon request I had the cobb salad, and it was huge. The wine is a bit pricey, but it's on par with other airports.

Four words for Sam Snead's: Hella Spicy Bloody Mary!! Very tasty. So good, in fact, that I think I'll have another before my flight. I deserve to commemorate my first business trip at the new job right, and this is the perfect place to start!!

Well, not a bad place to hang out when your flight is delayed a few hours.....uggghh. :( the mixed drinks are ok however the food was very bland. It was slow in the terminal so I guess thats a good thing because my service was quicker. Again, if you got time to kill its a nice place to hang out.

Not much to say about this little airport restaurant. Pretty poor service, very little selection of food, and incredibly high priced beers (I know you're in an airport, but you're outside of the security gates). If I hadn't had to wait in this airport for 3 hours there is absolutely no way I would eat at this place. The only redeeming factor that gave them an extra star was the fact that there is a little putting green that you can play on if you'd like. I would recommend getting out of the airport before eating!

Don't waste your time, the service was extremely slow and the food was just ok. Good thing it wasn't a busy time.

Just average all around I guess... Airport prices, chain quality food. This place is probably comparable to Applebee's. Server was friendly and fairly prompt. Chicken quesadillas were basically just cheese and chopped, frozen, grilled chicken. Accompanying salsa was definitely out of a can/jar. Terrible. I was going to order a sandwich or entree from their plain, boring menu selection after the appetizer but the Nathan's hot dog stand across the airport lounge looked better...

A good place to eat outside of security. Very good service, the food was prepared very quickly and the waitress kept my drink full. I had the reuben and it was good.

OK; I know airport bars, food etc. are very pricey, but $17.49 for a martini! Also was a short pour, and not made well, and bartender had a bad attitude. Previous to this experience I have had sandwiches, etc here, and was good, but stay away from the bar!
