Love the food, but staff can be rude...at this location! Who cares if you get good pie!! Pizza is a-ok NY style,..stromboli is great....meatball sub is awesome!!! Good variety! Priced right

Ok, I give this place 3 stars for their pizza, but not for anything else. Renna's has good pizza, but it's pricey. Their rude and they take their sweet time, or should I say they take your time. I would call it in ahead of time because they don't deliver and hopefully your time inside can be quick.

They have the best New York style thin crust pizza. The only good thing here is the pizza & calzones, other than that everything is plain.

3 stars for pizza; 0 stars for employees who were rude and slow; will not be back. Pricey for pizza joint. If you're in OP and want to try a very good pizza place go to Brewer's Pizza --- great beer too! Renna's all over Jax all have the same problem, their employees and managers and owners all act very snobby and rude and to be in the restaurant business it sure puzzles me as to why they are able to stay in business. I guess it's because of people like me who will keep going back hoping it has changed, because the pizza was so good.

I had a choice in pizza restaurants on Sunday afternoon and I chose incorrectly. The sullen lady with arm ink did not greet me with a "hello" but with a "what can I get you?". I asked for a 14 inch sausage pie, paid and gave a tip. I was ticket 81, and sat at a table that had not been cleaned which had been occupied by ticket 65. I was wanting to leave right away because the ambient vibe was getting dangerous, and there was nearly a fight by two men wanting the last open table. My wife wanted to give the pizza a chance. There was about fifteen tables occupied with only one table eating. The staff was not moving quickly or working together. It was the silence of staff not wanting to be there and they worked mechanically in quiet. After a 25 minute wait I walked up to the counter and received my pizza and two floppy paper plates. The pizza was not the best, it was a bit underdone and bland. After eating one piece I had to look hard for a trash can where I dumped the large pizza. I cleaned up the table because no one else would. I left without any one saying a word to me. One of my fellow customers walked out loudly cursing to himself. We left to go get pizza at the other place I should have chosen on Park Street where we were greeted pleasantly and the staff acted like they wanted our business. I think the owner of the Renna's Pizza at Argyle should know what is going on at their store. I will not return. I have had good pizza at the Renna's Baymeadows location.

My wife raved about this place, and as usual, she was dead on right! We had the homemade lasagna, and an extra large cheese pie. First we had a large salad and some garlic bread. Everything was real good. The staff was very courteous, and professional.

Terrible service. Terrible food. They gave my family a cheese pizza when the cheese wasn't even cooked. Also, one girl was making pizza without a hair-net. Disgusting.

I worked there about 7 years ago and used to eat there when I was a kid. It has always been great pizza and italian food. Great family environment and they still have an old table style pacman game and ninja turtles arcade!!

I went to this location yesterday to grab a little dinner after shopping. I wish I could say it was a pleasant experience and delicious food, but I can't. I actually felt like I was in the twilight zone or something. First, the fountain drink was horrible, so I let the cashier know so they could adjust the syrup or whatever they do to make the soda drinkable. She asked the manager what to do and she yelled from the back nothing, if the bag is full we aren't changing it. Nothing compared to what happened next... The girl making the food was sneezing and sneezing and sneezing, all the while touching food. I was watching her from my table, and this girl grabbed the front part of her t-shirt (near neck) and blew her dang nose right there at the food station. Let me repeat that... Girl wearing no gloves, touching food, sneezing all over the food and then BLEW HER SNOT NOSE on her shirt. Then continued to touch good and make pizza. I swear to you if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I wouldn't believe it. Not only is this just down right disgusting, it's totally UNHEALTHY. Needless, to say I went to counter and canceled my order and requested a refund. When ask why I was leaving, I told the manager and the girl why and they acted like I was crazy and that blowing your nose on the front of your shirt and continuing to handle food is okay. At no point did the girl stop and go wash her hands, and at no point did the manager tell her to go wash hands. WOW... #sliceofcheeseholdthesnotandgerms.

The food here is great. My favorites are the Calzones and Pizzas. I like the casual environment, but can be a bit too loud at times. Great for family and small groups. Never had an issue with my order except for one time when I ordered take out and it took my pizza 40 mintes to be ready which cause the rest of the food we ordered to get cold. Aside from that 1 day, never had a problem.

Love Renna's. My family have been going there forever. Big slices, excellent taste leaves you craving more. The place can get crammed sometimes, but there are some seats outside as well to avoid feeling so confined.

This is a nice restaurant tucked into one of the many strip malls in Jacksonville. It has 3 concrete tables outside and more than adequate seating inside. Walking in, the smell of freshly baked crust fills the air. My primal urges drive me towards the counter, as I watch one of the cooks toss the uncooked crust into the air. A skill of pure beauty! They hand make the pizza right in front of you. I am a NY Cheese Pizza kind of guy. I have gotten sick of Chi-Town style pizza since it was my staple in college and medical school. The pizza is awesome. The aroma of sauce, cheese and crust, freshly baked, tantalizes my palate as I take my first bite. Ahhh! Truly heavenly! The consistency of taste throughout yhe pizza, and mix of the crunch of the crust with the soft stringy cheese and zesty sauce quenches my appetite! Truly, truly, truly orgasmic!

The pizza was better than average. The crust was perfectly crispy and not too thick. While it was a bit greaser than I would have liked I can't complain as I ate the whole 10 inch pie (not recommended). My only complaint isn't about the food, it's about the atmosphere. I don't like TVs blaring when I eat and this place had two just loud enough that you couldn't escape either one. I sat in the middle and listened to the battling broadcasts and employees complain about their coworkers. Bring some headphones and you will be just fine. I will return when the weather is a bit nicer and sit outside. Not bad at all.

This pizza is delicious--flavors that sizzle! Love the retro Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stand up arcade game as well as the sit down Pac-man game...just hearing that Pac-man song brings back the 80s for me and the ambience and flavors of this Renna's are old school perfection! Thank you!

I hate that I have to give one star. Never in my life have witnessed what I saw the staff do this evening. As my spouse and I are so excited to sit down and have Rennas pizza what I use to claim was the best pizza in town . I hear sneezing coming from behind the counter , naturally I look .. .... The girl making the pies was having a sneezing fit. Did she excuse herself? NO Did she shield her sneeze using the bend of her arm? NO Did she cover her sneeze with a tissue? NO She did however sneeze on whom ever pie she was making. She did sneeze on all the open ingredients. To make matters worse ...she grabs her shirt wipes her snot as if it was Kleenex then continues to spread the cheese out on the pie. When I got up and said I'm sorry I can't eat pizza from someone who has just had a sneezing fit , blows her nose on her shirt and does not wash her hands , her response ..I use my shirt what???? I said you just wiped your snot with your shirt and handled food. She should of excused herself to the restroom , blew her nose and washed her hands. To top it off a joke was made that she's been like that all day with no complaints and it's just allergies. I'm flabbergasted the manager and other employees found nothing wrong with this situation . I'm at a loss for words. We got a refund thank god they did not start making our order and left. Rennas was known for amazing pizza and great quality service , you felt like family. I don't know if they have new owners or what. I will be trying to locate the owners and depending on how this is treated possibility the health department

Would have been ok if the first bite of pizza didn't have gross red colored hair in it. This was our first time eating here tonight ,we took it Togo. The wait time was ok since we had to go to the store anyways. We ordered a pizza with mushrooms and sausage and 1 small and over priced basic salad. I regret leaving a tip on a Togo but as previous service industry employees we know the system. It was all a little overpriced for the quantity and quality of food. Come on ladies .wear a hair net. No one wants weave in their food. We're knocking off restaurants all over this side of town. What is up with the general quality of food and service around here? We won't be coming back.

I have been eating at this Renna's for as long as I can remember. When my family moved to FL from NY 20something years ago, this was the only NY style pizza place in OP. The food is still just as good. It's not particularly cheap but if you want cheap pizza, go to Pizza Hut. The only really downside is that this area has crazy traffic 99% of the time these days.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
