Renna's is great pizza. It is hard to find authentic NY/NJ style pizza in Florida where the chains rule and the rest don't even understand how good pizza can be. They use quality ingredients and sell pizza by the slice. The place is not huge but a convenient quick place to grab lunch. I've only had the pizza but the rest of the food everyone was enjoying looked really good as well. Highly recommend!

My husband and I got food poisoning from this place. I called over ten times in a week wanting to talk to an owner and now one called me back! They even starting ignoring my calls. Over all they are dirty and their food drips with grease.

Nice Saturday lunch, with family. Nothing special about the pizza or place. Food good, service was good and clean tables. Noticed outside tables too late to get one, would be nice spot on sunny day.

Dirty, dusty and grimy. Pretty good subs, but they forgot the cheese today - which was one of the four ingredients. Employees cycle between apathy and anger. Go to Milanos instead.

The best New York style I've had in Florida. I lived in Miami Beach where you have a pizza place every five feet, but Rennas of Jacksonville has them beat - comes the closest to the pizza I gre up with up North. If you're dining solo get a freshly made 10-inch pie instead of the ready-made slices - only a little bit more $ but worth it.

I went here for dinner with a group and found that the location was great for a group gathering. The food was fresh and tasted pretty good. I tried to order a small pizza and was told that they were out of small dough and that I could order a medium with a 10% off discount. Um...how do you have dough for a medium and not a large? Do you not own a kitchen scale or a measuring cup? I never heard of anything so ridiculous in my life. Also, the ice tasted pretty awful.

The pizza here is pretty decent. The actual entrees however, are TERRIBLE. You can tell nothing is freshly made, sauce tastes like straight Ragu, pasta is obviously store bought as well. The "Cheesy Garlic Bread" is an over toasted Hoagie Roll with sparse garlic butter and kraft singles melted on top of it. It's definitely worth the laughs going here (due to the food) The only thing I would get from here is pizza and some cheap beer. Even the pizza is reheated, but that's nothing compared to the actual food served here. Oh -- And their air conditioning never works, good luck coming in during the summer with only two fans going on low speed.

Small spot tucked into one of the Town Center's strip centers next to a bike shop. Pretty straightforward menu; classic Italian subs served on toasted bread with a smattering of veggies and oil. Wasn't able to try the pizza, but from what I saw other patrons eating, it looked pretty good. Split subs with my boyfriend so we could try a cold one vs a hot one. Try the Capocollo and Provolone over any of the warm subs - the chicken on the chicken parm was dry and the sauce nothing to write home (or on Yelp) about. An OK sub, but not one I would rush back for.

We actually had Renna's delivered to our office for lunch. Unless you have an order of 50.00 or more, they do not deliver unless you are in Town Center. Food: Ordered the White Pizza and Sicilian Renna's Deluxe. The White pizza was absolutely delicious. Sometimes there is so much ricotta on white pizzas, it's overwhelming. Not this one. Perfect balance of garlic and cheeses. The Sicilian sauce and toppings were good, but the crust of the Sicilian was very tough and barely chewable. I would try it again, though, given that it was delivery, or other circumstances. We will definitely order the white pizza again.

Renna's has some of the best pizza I've tried in Jax. I happened to be in the area so I picked up a pizza to take home for dinner. They can be a little slow but good food takes time!! I love the thin crust!

I have been eating at several of Renna's locations for 10 years or so and have always been a huge fan. Lately at the St Johns Town Center location it keeps get worse and worse. After trying for a while to see if there is any improvement no improvement at all. The crust is so soggy and the entire pizza drips with grease. Sadly my family had no choice to change our favorite pizza place to Mellow Mushroom down the street :(

Unpleasant staff, slow service (we were here at lunchtime on a Monday, and the restaurant wasn't even half full), and mediocre pizza. I won't be back. I'll go across the street to Chik-fil-A next time where at least I know the staff will be friendly!

Me and my honey love Renna's. We probably always grab the same thing: a medium pie with pepperoni and mushrooms. This location and the other in Mandarin are always pretty consistent with taste and friendliness. Oh! Try the garlic knots! They are super awesome. I stuffed my face and didn't even save room for pizza. So worth it.

After a shopping trip this basically hit the spot. Its small in the inside in my opinion and feels a little tight and claustrophobic to me. But it gave me a feel of a hole in the wall pizzeria from NY. My boyfriend and I are orginally from NY so we love finding places that serve anything close to an originally NY slice of heaven. They offer a lunch special of 2 slices and a soda for a discounted price. I can't remember how much it was because he paid. So we had two, his cheese and mine pepperoni, and an added order of garlic knots. The garlic knots were soft and garlicky. We asked for out pizza to be well-baked (very crunchy to almost burnt) and for me it wasn't crunchy enough. Naturally pizza is greasy so I patted mine with a napkin. But the pizza was really good. I will return and see maybe what other foods are good on the menu. Be warned though. Parking is impossible in TC so expect to wait for parking or walk. If you get lucky and find something close you have it made. Overall I enjoyed their pizza and would go back. Price seemed a little much but eh, its TC.

Like other folks I'm from the East Coast and I have to agree this is the best that I've had in jax in regards to pizza like someone said before it's all about the sauce. And it has that smell that you know it tastes good .the only thing that's missing is a little Italian grandma in the front

As a native NY'er I must say this places sauce is the best I've had so far in Jacks. Remember people it's all about the sauce! Try it out I promise you will not be disappointed.

Really quite impressed with their slice cheese pizza. My husband is from NY and is picky about what is NY style and not, and he said this was the best pizza find in Jax so far. Which to me says a lot :-)

Pizza is great here! Must ask for it well done. Cheese only, if u must have meat then pepperoni. Don't get by slice. Service leaves much to be desired but pizza is closest u'll get to ny style. Brooklyn pizza is close 2nd.

I found this little place on my way into work. Its located in the very busy St Johns Town Center area, but at 1 in the afternoon there was only 2 other people in the joint,. The interior was clean and simple with wood paneling, booths and nice tables that reminded you of a local Italian restaurant . But instead of being seated you walk up to a counter to place your order and the choices array from pizza (by the pie or slice) to sandwiches or salads. While I enjoyed the simple menu, the lady taking my order had the enthusiasm of a slug, and was just as helpful when I explained that I had never been here before. After skimming the short descriptions I chose the Antipasto salad which was one of the 3 salads offered. She gave me my receipt, and told me to sit down. While I sipped on my bottle of water I obtained a plastic fork, and napkins form a self serve station, and grabbed a booth. Then an intercom that seemed extremely out of place with the decor chirped, "order 915". I glanced at my receipt and realized it was me, so i went to the counter and picked up my salad. The presentation was beautiful, and well done on a nice platter. Overall the salad was good, but I wouldn't call it great. The base was iceburge lettuce, then topped with various cheeses meats and veggies. The mushrooms and olives were straight out of a can, but the dressing was clean and not overdone. Overall my experience was OK, but I don't foresee myself returning.

The reason why nobody was in this place for lunch is because their food is terrible. I bought two slices and there was no dough. Really, no dough except where you expect a pizza crust to be. They baked some cheese on top of some tomato sauce and pushed it on to a paper plate. How am I supposed to eat that? Really? I've been to NYC and experienced thin crust, but where'd you get the idea of 'No Crust'. Disgusting.
