Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

My family loves Panda Express (PE). PE never disappoints us. The food is fresh and the people working there are generally helpful. Good food and good proportions make it a good and fast meal for us. Their signature dish is their Orange Chicken. It is as good as just about any other place that I've been to. It has a little bit of spice but not too much. Other dishes that I've had are pretty good as well. This is not 5 star dining by any means. I've rated it 4 stars compared to other fast food places.

I really enjoy the food. Its always tasty. Cute girl named Alyssa working there was nice.

I just tried this place a few days ago. It opened only recently in TC. Probably the best fast food Chinese place I've had in Jacksonville. Too bad it's about 15 minutes from my house, or I would definitely go here more often instead of going to a nearby Chinese restaurant. For $5.25 you can combine any 2 entrees with any 1 side, and for $7 you can do 3 entrees and a side. They don't have a huge selection, but the food that they do have is awesome. Personally, I'd recommend getting the orange chicken, Beijing beef and sweet-and-sour chicken with fried rice. It's delicious.

At some point many years ago Panda Express pulled me in with that damn orange chicken and ever since it's been my #1 guilty pleasure food. I try to indulge less often these days but when I do, I try to avoid this location. Honestly, if it didn't have a drive thru, I would never stop here. The food is typical Panda Express junk food but the service at this store is just....I don't even know the word. My most recent visit was after a UNF basketball game. It was a Friday night so the Town Center was busy but I hadn't had dinner and decided to stop. When I got into the drive thru line there was a car at the order screen and one other car in front of me. No big deal. I ordered, pulled around, etc. I noticed that the person in front of me pulled into a parking spot but didn't think too much of it. After I paid, I was handed back my card and asked to pull into a spot so they could bring my food out. I figured they must be making more food since the parking lot was now getting even busier. I pulled into a spot right near the front doors. I checked my phone and waited. And waited. And waited. I noticed in the mean time that the line inside was now to the front door. After 20 minutes (since I'd parked my car, closer to 30 since I'd gotten in the drive thru line), I got fed up and went inside. I had watched the next few people who came through the drive thru park near me but now was seeing cars go through the drive thru and be handed food. A couple other people who had been told to park also came inside. We had to stand near the register for another 5 minutes before anyone even looked in our direction. When we explained that we'd been waiting, we were then asked what we ordered and the food was put into containers. I was handed my food but had never received my drink. When I showed the girl that I'd paid for a drink, she inspected my receipt like I was lying to her. First off, I did indeed pay for the drink but secondly, I've now been trying to get my "fast food" for going on 40 minutes, now you're going to start questioning me? It was an atrocious experience but wasn't even surprising. That was the worst customer service I've received here but it's not like the default is great service. All that said, it can be a convenient place if you're really craving some gross, drive thru fake Chinese food....

Beef and brocoli? I think not more like broccoli and 3 pieces of beef. I hate this place I Don't know why I let my gf talk me into eating here. Never again

Always been a fan of the customer service and speed in which they serve you. PE is a nice place to get a good quick lunch. The prices are good for the amount of food you get. Good flavors and they keep the restaurant pretty clean. I mostly get the orange chicken meal, whether in a bowl or the 2 entree plate. The egg rolls are decent. But I mostly go for the Orange Chicken with either brown or white fried rice. Mmmmm!!!!!!

I usually love Panda Express but this location is severely lacking in quality. Food is cold and workers are nowhere to be found. Not very friendly when they do show up. Good location but it's been poor quality each time I've gone here. I'll go back to other locations but not this one.

Panda Express is a spinoff of the restaurant version - Panda Inn. Panda Inn's 1st location is in Pasadena, CA on Colorado blvd and was established 30 years ago if I'm not mistaken. So I've had Panda Inn MULTIPLE times considering my hubby was a Pasadena resident. Panda Inn is delicious and fresh, whereas the Panda Express chains have diminished the quality of what the Panda brand entails. It doesn't matter which Panda Express you visit, the food is dry and if you're lucky you can rarely get fresh food. Depending on your region in the USA, there are items offered regionally. What's weird is I used to always get soup at Panda Express, and the one time I craved soup and tried to get some some at this Panda Express location, the manager states that the JAX FL locations do not sell soup and only in Calfornia. Makes sense....now that I think about it, I did get my soups at the Panda Express across my apartment in Valencia, CA. I just wish the quality, freshness, and flavors of what Panda stands for also is encompassed to the EXPRESS chains. Soooo many times I crave for Panda Inn and it's not the same. So everytime we visit home in San Diego or head back to our stomping grounds in Los Angeles, we get Panda Inn because it's sooo dang good, esp the service. Wish I can say the same for this Panda Express.

I just waited a bone-chilling 20 MINUTES in the drive-through, only to be told at the window I would have to wait another five minutes (My food wasn't cooked and was asked to pull around to the side). Unfortunately I couldn't wait any longer and had to ask for a refund. I was also made late to work. WORST SERVICE EVER.

Panda Express is OK but this location is so slow that's my only complaint the slow service.Anyway went through Drive Thru ordered some Dumplings they were good but bad service

Quantity is what this place is all about. Don't read the nutrition labels on any of their menu items as you might cry, but if you need Chinese food in a pinch with the convenience of drive through, then this place fits the bill. For what it is, chinese fast food, they do it well. Beyond that, keep looking.

Nice place to go & grab a quick bite to eat. Offers a nice option other than the standard fast food joint. It's nothing special, but it's satisfies.

After not eating Panda Express for over 8 years, due to the quality and taste declining, I decided to give it a try, since it was close to my hotel. I went through the Drive Thru and it was the best drive thru experience I've ever had. The employee was energetic, asked if I wanted certain things before I requested them, she just provided great customer service. The food came out promptly and the order was correct, which is a miracle in itself since so many fast food places aren't able to do that. The food was very good, but also very filling. I wish I was able to eat it all.

Food was fresh and very tasty. I had honey chicken, lo mein, fried rice, Kung pow chicken and it was delish. I would definitely go back to this location because the on where I live is terrible. ..

THIS LOCATION IS TERRIBLE!!!!!! Please do not go here and waste your money... I went through the drive thru and when I got home to eat my food... my fried rice was undercooked (still crunchy) and I had only 3 pieces of steak (I got half orange chicken/half steak)! So unhappy and disappointed. I wish I can give you zero stars!

I have recently moved to Jacksonville and I was excited to find a Panda Express so close to me! Where I used to live, there was a location close to where I lived and it was the talk of the town. Super fast, fresh, and affordable! THIS location does not have the same quality, however. I have dined here a couple of times with my boyfriend and they were "meh" most of the time. But this last solo trip has me sworn away from them FOREVER. I drove through the drive thru and ordered a bowl with string bean chicken breast with steamed rice. I also ordered a Sobe Life drink from the fountain and an order of veggie spring rolls. I pulled up and the cashier handed me a cup of ice water. When I brought this to her attention she said they must have run out of that beverage. I asked if I could get a half and half tea instead. The tea tasted WAY too sweet with a metallic after taste. On my way home, I realized that they did not give me my spring rolls. I turned around and took my bag as well as my receipt inside. I went up to the register and was ignored for a good 2 minutes. Once I notified them of the missing item, they gave it to me with so much attitude. I asked if I could have some sweet and sour sauce for waiting and was given even more attitude. They barely looked at me. To be honest, it was stupid of me not to check my entree. Once I got home I opened my bowl only to realize I had gotten the wrong order. It was sweetfire chicken breast with chow mein. The chicken was gooey and the chow mein was cold and hard. I couldn't go back because they had closed. I was so tired and hungry I ate the chicken and threw the rest away. I wrote a review to corporate and they apologized and sent me a complimentary meal card. I gave it to my boyfriend. He still haven't used it and I don't really think he, or I, ever will.
