Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

The Olive Garden on Youngerman Circle was on point tonight. The food was fresh. I ordered soup and salad. The Zuppa Toscano soup is spicy and delicious. When you stop by ask for Brooke. Her customer service was excellent. I would have never known tonight was her first night of working. Kudos to Brooke!!! Keep doing what you're doing. I had the Long Island limoncello. Hmmm....so refreshing after a long day at work.

I've really liked Olive Garden since I was a kid... for a time we hadn't visited because of my new found love for Carrabbas, but we came back on Veteran's Day and I was reminded of my love for those breadsticks! I love their pasta e fagioli soup (basically italian chili). It's a great blend of just the right spice, meat, beans, and noodles. The breadsticks are awesome (when done right) and plentiful. Unlimited is my favorite word here. You also get refills on soup - go for it if you are famished. I used to get the lasagna rolls, but they have since been discontinued =( These were my favorite entree pre-carrabbas fling, but when I came back, they were gone. It must be them punishing me for betraying the Olive Garden... Alas, I settle for the chicken parm, but really it isn't settling because they have my favorite chicken parm! It's always crispy and thin (not super thick like some places), but always moist and tender. The baked cheese on top really finishes it off nicely. I've had the Tiramisu before and loved it. I can say these things in general about these items because, being a chain, the quality should* be the same wherever you go... this isn't always the case, but this olive garden does their food well. For a big name, chain, italian place, this one is pretty good. I recommend for anyone looking for a consistent flavor. But Yelper beware, call ahead / reserve a table if you want to eat here on a weekend. Last time we tried to eat here on a Sat. night they told us it would be an hour!

Always a favorite, I tried the Chicken & Shrimp Carbonara this time and it was delicious. Cant go wrong with the bread sticks and salad with a side of Alfredo sauce for dipping.

Pretty good place to get a quick lunch. Soup and salad never gets old. But if you're looking for the old school Olive Garden menu items, get them quick, they're disappeRing. Their menu is changing...they have a burger for Christ's sake!

Horrible horrible customer service. Food was ok, but manager (I think) was disrespectful to our family and had no manners I front of my little kids.

This location still remains the only Olive Garden in the Orange Park area, which always surprises me. It's been there for as long as I can remember and I can't remember ever going there and easily finding parking or not waiting. Usually the wait isn't too long (10-15 minutes) but it always feels packed. Ultimately it's an Olive Garden so you know what you're walking into. My experience has been that the service is generally above average at this location. IMO, the soup, salad, and bread sticks lunch is the best deal (I'm a big soup lover) but their pasta is pretty good, too. The portions are insane (especially if you eat salad or soup and a bread stick first) so I always have leftovers when I eat here. My most recent visit was for a friend's birthday and our waitress was great, really funny and attentive. She brought out a small dessert for my friend (no song) and was really sweet about it. If you find yourself in the Argyle area and hungry, this isn't the worst choice you can make (it's not the best either but that's my opinion regarding chain restaurants in general).

We have been to the Olive Garden many times and find that their food is always awesome. They have a wonderful variety of drinks whether alcoholic or non-alcoholic. The dessert menu is fantastic, if you can find the room. If not, take it home! One thing you can always be sure of is, from one Olive Garden to another, their food is going to be very very good. I just happen to like the Olive Garden Youngerman Circle because it's clean and they always do a good job of setting you quickly. And there's always enough food to take home for the next day meal. Definitely worth the money cuz you got two for one!

I'm sure there's always two sides to every story ! But every time I've been to am Olive Garden I've always been pleasantly pleased with the service , food and cleanliness. I've always been seated relatively quickly and never have I waited so long on drinks. I've been blessed with great servers ! I always get the shrimp scampi Alfredo bowl. Ohhhh myyyyy gossshhh. I'm always legit stuffing my self sickly full to finish it because it's THAT good. The shrimp is the epitome of the bowl and I can't get enough of this dish. I can't remember what soup I got but it had potatoes and sausage and it was to die for ! A little spicy but enough to where I could handle it and enjoy that killer taste ! Service most recently was so amazing ! He was very attentive to us and even ( hopefully honestly ) didn't mind the noisy little toddlers sitting with us ! He was always filling our drinks making sure we are fine and that the kids are fine without being annoying. I love Olive Garden to death. I would come no matter what these reviews say but like I said every visits different and some may not get such a nice server as I did and I understand that. But please come on in and eat (:

The food was excellent but I was not impressed with the service. Our waitress was not openly rude to us but she seemed to have an attitude and wasn't very friendly. She kept up on refills and such to begin with but then completely quit. The Olive Garden I normally visit allows you to add a soup or salad to a small plate for only $4, apparently this one doesn't. The waitress said the only soup and salad they had was over $10. She wasn't willing to explain the menu at all and seemed very impatient for us to order. She kept telling me she didn't know if I could get what I was asking for and refused to find out. She kept telling me it was only for lunch even though I order the same thing every time I visit and I've never been during lunch hours. Such a shame that we received such bad service because it put such a damper on our delicious meal.

OG is buy far not one of my favorite restraunts. It always baffles me when there are huge lines and waits for this place. But unfortunately for me my wife loves the alfredo here so I have to suffer through it from time to time.. service is avg and I usually just get the salad and bread sticks which for the price is perfect for me.. The OG is no different then any other one and definitely not amazing. If you want a decent meal go.. if you want something amazing go somewhere else

My review is based on my full experience here. I went on my Lunch break while I was working in the Orange park location of my job. I only have an hour break and I had the perfect amount of time. I order their unlimited sop, salad and bread sticks. for 7.99. I was so full I always get my favorite Zuppa Tucano soup and the salad with extra cheese. and my Peach Belinni Tea. I didn't say nothing but they skipped me on my peach that was supposed to be in my tea and they act like they be skimmping on the bread.. ALWAY. I was at the bar so I guess maybe she was trying to attend to every one but I just like for them to know if I order something UNLIMITED that means I just want you to give me my second round automatically not ask me after you see everything is clear.. Keep it coming boo. I love Olive garden and always will sorry guys. I have had a better experience at the Southside one.

Amazing, amazing, AMAZING! The store in Delaware needs to take lessons from this location. Our server Christina H was prompt, friendly and attentive. Our toddler was very restless and I think she could see my husband I were stressed and embarrassed. She knelt down and talked to him, and gave him some paper and crayons to keep him occupied. Her wine suggestions were spot on, and she came back on multiple locations to make sure we were doing fine. Such a great experience, and I'm happy to report based in this night out, Olive Garden has earned my business back! :-)

We had a really impressive experience the other night. Our waitress made our night amazing. Her name was Aly or Alex...I don't remember exactly, but she was genuinely positive, helpful, and gladly took care of everything we asked for. Especially for it having been close to closing time, we were overjoyed with the visit.

I haven't been to Olive Garden in years, so my family and I thought we'd give it a shot. Poor decision, because the chainy atmosphere immediately killed my appetite and the seemingly un-maintained dining room and cold light temperature exacerbated it. After taking my first bite of breadstick, I remembered how insanely garlicky and buttery everything is- way too much for human consumption. Oh, and our waitress's overbearing but half-assed attempt at a charming attitude, including sitting down at an unoccupied seat at our table to take our orders, was an absolute intrusion on what was a fleeting chance of comfort. The chocolate moose cake was good, but it will never be good enough to bring me back to Olive Garden.

I went to Olive Garden today for my Veterans Day meal and, apparently, I had been confused by the menu. Online it had said get an entree and all-you-can-eat breadsticks, soup and salad. Apparently, the all-you-can-eat part was its own entree at this particular location. I wish the wording of this was stated better, but I am still grateful that the chain took the time to think of our Veterans. When I arrived the wait was 40-50 minutes, luckily, since I was alone, I scored a bar seat. The bartenders were calm, cool and collective making sure that everyone was refilled on drinks as well as food. Very attentive for as crazy as the restaurant had become. While Olive Garden is not my usual preference for Italian, the food wasn't that bad, nor was it that good. I really wish that I hadn't gotten confused by the menu as I was really craving some Sausage and Peppers. The salad could really use more than just lettuce and dressing, and I only had two tomatoes in that huge bowl. What if I was sharing? Things were redeemed a bit with the Pasta Fagioli soup, but not by much.

You can't go wrong with the all you can eat soup and salad from here. Been here a million times I always get the alfrado dip for my bread sticks and extra dressing on my salad and I get the potato and sausage soup yummy yummy in my tummy! Just don't get it for dinner the price is like 4.00 bucks more for dinner than lunch.

Food was good but came out too fast. We just got our salad and I was on my third bite and bam theres our lunch. It was 1:30 not busy at all yet we were still rushed. The food runner just set the plates on the other side of the table and left. The waiter was a ghost intill the second we were done then appeared, dropped the check off and then left. 10 min later he came back to get it. Weird we were rushed to finish then had to wait to pay. Other than that the food tasted good.

I don't like this place, I've eaten here three time and each time the food was just boring tasting! There is nothing special about the pasta here, boil noodles and simmer tomato sauce and slap it together. Maybe I'm being over dramatic???? It's just not very satisfying. The endless salad is very good though! I give the salad 5 stars.

First visit for the wife and I. We both had chicken & dumpling soup with the customary breadsticks. Then I had a dish called Italian Sausage with green peppers rustica. My wife had a spicy shrimp Vesuvio dish. Our server, Jennifer, was very nice and helpful in suggesting/recommending our main courses. But when we paid our bill, strangely enough, she didn't thank us for her cash tip. Overall, it was pleasant enough.

It's was a "meh" experience. I had the never ending pasta deal which was the first time I've ever had it. The first plate of pasta they bring out to you is so huge, you can barely finish it. I didn't want to waste it so I ate as much as I can. I ordered a second round which they conveniently put in a small cereal bowl. Why couldn't they of done that with the first one?? The food tasted bland and was under sauced. If you decided to eat here I don't recommend the never ending pasta, it's kind of a gimmick. Instead try some of the other menu items.

There are just some restaurants that will never go out of style. To this day Olive Garden still lies Top Tief of my favorite Italian restaurants, starting with its mandatory classy dress code to it's outstandingly professional staff and servers. I'm still awaiting the day I order something and it doesn't come close to the expected perfection I've set the bar for. They have a fine selection of every wine you could imagine, they even treat their guests to complimentary samples of selected wines of the day, last night I was treated to Pinot Noir which was phenomenal. The servers go above and beyond for you, one example for the 2 for $25 limited time offer, their was a dessert that wasn't listed and she still treated me and my guest to it at no additional charge, THAT is what I call outstanding customer service! My personal favorite dish lies with the Shrimp Alfredo, but they have an outstanding diversity of Italian delicacies to choose from, but you'll always be satisfied no matter your choosing! On your next date or family outing, I highly recommend you check this particular location out, also check out the Triple Chocolate Mousse for dessert! Magnifique! 5/5

I've been to this Olive Garden a few times, and I have had a horrible meal almost everytime. The service here is usually terrible. I've had one server that was competent, the rest have been slow and couldn't keep up with the demands of waiting tables in a busy restaurant. Every meal I've eaten here looked like it sat under the heat lamps for 10+ minutes before it came out, and my wifes fettuccine is always overcooked. The togo was the biggest rip off ever. I think serving food togo gives them an excuse to do a lousy job and serve food that would probably have been thrown away.

Soup, salad and bread sticks with a glass of red wine......... The best of the Olive Garden.

On a Thurs. nite approx. 9 pm went to Olive Garden on Youngerman... Hostess sitting on bench too busy sorting out menus to seat us... then once finally seated... the waitress came over twice and said "be right with you"... Place was not busy.... so we placed a beverage drink and ... that never came in timely fashion.... We walked out... Not only was service completely unacceptable the floors/rugs were filfity- not just stains but food on it... Last trip to this Olive Garden

Went to Olive Gardent tonight with a group of 11. The food was fine but the service was FANTASTIC. The server named Amy was joyful and happy! It was such a pleasure to be treated so well. Thanks so much for a great night and for allowing us to walk away with a lift in our step because of the contagious manner of our sweet server!

Lunch review - soup & salad was good as usual. Service was very good.

I'll never go back. Waitress didn't put our orders in until after 30 minutes of placing them. We waited well over an hour on our food. When it did come out, it didn't come out together. Food tasted like cardboard which was expected at Olive Garden. Spend 10 more dollars and head to a good restaurant. Manager came out and offered us laughable coupons that he was handing out to everyone as they left the restaurant. Almost walked out at that moment without paying due to the insult.

Consistently good Italian food - a good Olive Garden! The only complaint is there are usually long waits to get a table so go early.
