This was one of my worst restaurant experiences EVER. I've ate at the one in Jax Beach plenty of times and have never experienced this. This location must be ran by a completely different GM. We were seated promptly and told our server will be right with us. A minute later the hostess came back to take our drink order. After another minute the waitress came over and asked for our drink order. No big deal other than lack of communication. A few minutes later our waitress came with our drinks and then took our order. I Should've taken a picture of her and file a missing persons report because that was the last we saw of her for the next hour. Our food was brought to our Table by one of the cooks so again still didn't see our waitress. The food was very disappointing as well. The salad was okay, no real complaints about it. I had the chicken parm and my wife had the eggplant parm, both were very bland along with the spaghetti. Its as if they didn't use any spices in their sauce. It tasted like it was just crushed up tomatoes. The garlic bread that came with our meal was clearly of the frozen variety because it was ice cold in the middle. After we finished eating (still hadn't seen our waitress or were asked if we wanted a refill or how the meal was) we began the wait. After a few minutes of realizing that no one is coming to our table I began the stopwatch on my phone to see how long it would take before someone came. It took 20 minutes!! At one point I even held up my wallet above my head to see if someone would notice that we were ready for our check. It didn't work. Finally we flagged down the hostess and asked her for our check. After we finished our meal, it took 30 minutes before we got our check. This is ridiculous and the first time I ever had to leave $0 tip. I'm usually a 20% even with sub-par service but this was no service.

I can't really get excited to write this review. We got a pasta dish and a pizza last night. The pasta dish was pretty good, and I'd get it again. The pizza was disappointing. But not every place can make a good vegetarian pizza. Would I eat here again????? Maybe, it's close to home, they deliver if I'm too tired, and if I had a coupon to use.

First time dining in. The waitress was like a robot. Aksed for vermecilli pasta in place of spaghetti, I was told there would be a 1.99 up charge to switch out the pasta. I was offered the choice of a caesar salad without being told about $1 up charge. I had the veal parm and it was horrible (dried edges) Asked if I could use a coupon for $3 off a 16" pizza on an 18" instead and was told no even though I was spending more money. ??? really I will give them that they have good pizza, get it take out or delivery.

Food was good. We ordered Cheese pizza w/pepperoni for the kid. He seemed to have liked it. Ate most of it. I ordered garden salad w/grilled chicken. But instead, it came with baked chicken. Husband ordered chicken marshala. We visited this place on the 20th of July. We were among the last customer's to leave, so I wouldn't complain about service.

The food was surprisingly good. Our children ordered individually and the serving sizes were, generous. The surplus was definitely put to good use the following day (Lunch!!). My only lament, was the extremely frigid temperature in the restaurant. For a party of 5 (on both visits) we were drawn to the middle of the restaurant where the larger tables are available to accommodate our need. However, these tables are directly under the, "The Arctic Blast", vents. On the second visit (after shivering through our appetizers) we opted the patio for the remainder of the evening, much nicer outside. ***SN***: Ask for, EJ. He should be heraled for his meritorious service (on both visits). Also, be sure to cut out the great coupons in the, "Mint Magazine, before you go. Thawed Customer

Just not good. At least not the pepproni pizza, and not the service. On three separate occasions my pickup pizza order was lost, forgotten, or simply wrong. On the third and final attempt to pick up a simple pepperoni pizza i had ordered 20 minutes earlier, I decided i would never go back. I was picking up a few items next door at Publix, including cheesecake to take home with me. It had been over 20 minutes when i was checking out, and Milanos hadnt seemed overly busy when i placed my order inside the restaurant. I figured 20 minutes was lomg enough. Wrong. I waited ten minutes before asking about it, which caused some confusion. The order had never been placed. So the cook began working on it. 15 minutes later i was informed my cheese pizza was done. What? I ordered pepperoni. I told the guy who made the pizza, and hesaid he could add some pepperoni and stick my pizza back in the oven for a fee minutes. Really? So i can have an overcooked pizza and barely hot pepperoni? No thanks. I asked him to start over. He wasnt happy about it, and neither was I, considering my cheesecake had been getting warm in my grocery bag for quite a while before it was done. All that wait and when i finally got home, i hoped the pizza would taste good. Nope. Just like the two previous times, it was very ordinary. I havent been back in over two years, and never will. 3 tries, 3 failures.

My favorite Italian joint in the ICW/SS area. The Italian sub is awesome, and the house salad has become one of my go-to items. Delivery is always fast and friendly.

I don't know what happened here. I've had the pizza at Milano's at the Beach a few times and it's been fine. I'd still go back there. But after trying a pizza from this location recently, we were unimpressed. Delivery took way longer than it should have considering the distance. So the pizza arrives semicold. OK, no big deal. Throw it in the oven for a minute to heat up a slice. Then it's hot, but all mushy and spongy. WTF? Sauce ain't the best, either. Too sweet. Tasted different than the slices I've had at the beach. Here's the thing: I decided to throw away the leftover slices rather than eat them, reheated or cold. If you knew me, you'd know that that simply doesn't happen -- just like me ordering another pizza from this location. It's edible, but the fact that this place survives while the Siena's Pizza right around the corner went under is baffling, if not criminal. When it comes to pizza, I can't recommend this location.

I went with some friends who are big fans of both this and the Beach location. The big winner by far was the stromboli -- the large ($12.99) is humongous, and the crust was perfect and the fillings fresh and yummy, topped with a tasty marinara. I had the sausage & peppers sub, which was just OK. Sub roll was great, but the sausage was average -- cut into thin slices and on the dry side. The onion and pepper were diced (I prefer sliced) and just barely sauteed; they needed to be cooked more. Someone else at the table had the same complaint with the onion & peppers on one of their pizzas. The cheese on the S&P sub was decent and ample, but could have been melted to a little more "gooey" consistency. The pizzas come in a range of sizes, and they seemed to be pretty good. I'd come back for the stromboli for certain, but not sure about anything else.

Milanos is my kind of place. Not too cowded or noisy, good food at a fair price. I have eaten there many times and it is consistently good. The dinner portions are large and come with a huge salad loaded with mozzarella and butter toasted bread. The pizza is also excellent. The servers are very friendly, fun, and attentive. Check out the Mint before you go, they always have a buy1 get1!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
