6 of us stopped off here after our cruise. I'm very skeptical of steakhouses because I spoil myself with the best places for steak. The steak was very good. Nice job! The staff was friendly too.

This is the second time I have been disappointed at this restaurant . It is convenient to my hotel. The service was good, the food was not. My Flo's Filet was overlooked salty and tough. The best thing I had was the Red Rock Malbec. It would take a lot to get me back.

This Longhorn's location is much faster to seat you and the service is just as good as Regency location. The food is great too. I would recommend.

This place was super busy tonight. It was Valentine weekend and many were there for the same reason we were. Many of the menu items were already sold out and it was only 7:00pm. Service was lethargic but with the number of occupants it was understandable. Being that we visit this place frequently we can certainly attest to the stress level of the kitchen staff. Steaks that we normally order were coming out to the temps we ordered but they were missing the crisp sear normally we are accustomed to.

The servers were friendly but the food was slow coming and not prepared as ordered. I had asked for medium and got it well done. I had asked some folks who were leaving when I arrived how the food was and they reported a similar problem.

If you don't mind waiting 15 minutes (while sitting at the bar) for any one to even see you, then this is the place for you

My husband and I went there last night and ordered the 2 for $29.99 meal. We both had the Renegade Sirloin and it was so tender! Our server Rob was fantastic! He seemed to know what we wanted before we did. I was very impressed overall. We will be going back!

One of the BEST experiences I've had in a while. FOOD: Amazing. I enjoyed everything about my meal, down to the last bite. I ordered a filet mignon medium well and they nailed it. It was the perfect color, nice and tender, juicy; it couldn't have been better. I tried their corn on the cob- IT IS A MUST. It was the best corn and the mexican creama and parmesan cheese on their is to die for. I also had the sweet potato with brown sugar- it was dowsed in brown sugar and cinnamon but i turned the potato over and it came right out, no biggie. This to was also amazing. SERVICE: I LOVED MY WAITRESS PAM!!! She was amazing. Definitely the best server i have ever had in my life. She is the reason this place got 5 stars opposed to 4. She was entertaining, friendly, on point, genuine. I would come back and ask for her any day, if I wasn't from NY. PRICE: I didn't really have an opportunity to see the check, but the prices on the menu were decent. My filet mignon was around 20 bucks. OTHER: Some lady kept eyeballing my date and I because we were still there at closing, we left like 10 minutes later, but Pam informed us to relax because its a while before they were able to leave, however we still rushed. Thats the only negative thing.

It took them over 10 minutes to acknowledge that I existed after I was seated. Good news is the manager (Dion) responded fast and made things right. The food was perfect and it ended up being a decent overall experience.

First time at longhorn steakhouse and the food was amazing. Our waitress Pam was super helpful and very energetic and continued to check on my table. Other staff was eye balling our table since it was near closing time but other than the states the service was amazing and I would totally recommend friends and loved ones to go.

Great lunch menu. Had ribeyes steak with one side for about $16 . cook just right mid rare. Marinate was awesome. Not too salty or too light. And most importantly not too greasy. It was a little busy during lunch, took about 5-8 min for a server to come to the table but it was a great service. The person who brought out our food work hands in hands well with our server. I can tell they are work well together and try to bring all food out in timely matter. Bloody marry was OK (yes I had that for lunch too) not that great. It was alright. They have other martini I would like to try though ..... Desserts looks awesome ! Would like to try that as well if I have room for it.

I have to say kudos to Longhorn. They emailed me and took the time to tell me what the issue was and what they will do to rectify the in store experience for future guests. Cheers to them and as a result I will be back to try them. Anyone that takes the time to reach out to unhappy guests deserve a second chance and I will give them that respect. Cheers Jon at Longhorn JAX.

My husband and I decided on a whim to go on vacation here from Cape Coral. Our Longhorn was closed a while back and were excited to see one here. We came in on a Tuesday night and it was fairly busy. We were seated right away and were greeted warmly by our waitress (who turned out to be THE BEST one we've ever had!!). The food was excellent-- he had the steak and potato and I had the cheeseburger and fries. We were so full we weren't able to have dessert but, we are planning to go back just for that. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The restaurants atmosphere was very nice and clean. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. The salad was really good and the Portobello Sirloin Steak was cooked to perfection. My son got the chicken tenders which is always outstanding in his words. The manager came by to check on us which proves it's a winner.

I'll start by saying the staff here is pretty incredible. They are attentive, personable, and don't keep you waiting at all. They are the highlight of Longhorn. Now the steaks... I've eaten here a few times, and a few other people I know agree... The steaks just aren't very good. I've have porterhouses, filets. Ribeye, and they all share one thing in common, they are some-what flavorless. When you need and sort of sauce to cover it, the steak is not worth eating. The only other bonus is it is next to the airport.

I have been to longhorn plenty back in Rhode Island where I used to live, but this one is a little off. The people I went with ordered steak and they both ordered medium. The steaks came out well done and were quite dry. I ordered the ribs as always and they were a bit burnt on top and just weren't like I've had before. The manager did take about $20 off the bill because of the steaks and offered to make new steaks, but we didn't want to waste any food or time.

Great atmosphere at the bar. Full food service and great bartenders! They are always checking to make sure you're enjoying yourself.

Used to be good may not return for quite awhile. Food too salty steak quality so so this location always seems to be lacking. Southside is always good.

If you are a business traveler, do not eat here for dinner when staying in one of the adjacent hotels. Server Brian is slow at best. Spent most of his time talking at the bar while waiting for drinks instead of taking orders at tables. When I finally did order after sitting for twenty minutes, he asks me if I want my app, salad and dinner to all come out at the same time. It's late night dinner time, I'm not rushing back to the airport. Thirty minutes into my stay and no water. The couple at the table next to me, also with Brian, sat uncomfortably for the longest time before ordering but at least they have water. I now have a salad and app but still no offer of water. Okay I finally ordered water, thinking north FL is in a drought condition and that is the procedure. Only to hear him ask the table behind me if they would like water. I now realize that poor training is in place here and common sense is the exception and not the rule. You would certainly think that once my first glass of wine is empty, they would at least inquiry if I would like another glass. Next time in Jacksonville on business, I will eat at the other steakhouse right across the street. Hey it's Longhorn, I get that and wasn't expecting exceptional food. But, good service is not too much to expect, especially when you work for tips.

I like Longhorn steak house. I have been to quite a few in different towns and always got good food and service. I like the 7 pepper steak salad. They bring some bread that get the palate going, then the food shows up with in a few minutes.
