First impression is the air which smells like sewage. We thought "oh what the heck the food is still probably good, how bad can greasy Chinese food be?" The answer: so bad. First of all the fried rice was very dark and salty and flavorless. The orange chicken was 60% doughnut-like breading (it was actually sweet and sour chicken) and then doused with a lovely sauce that must have been made of tang and orange fanta. I had to force myself to eat it and ended up cutting most of the breading off. My cousin got curry chicken which she described as a porridge of chicken and potatoes, that were themselves indistinguishable, that might be served in a third-world prison. Her egg drop soup was like the Campbell's cream of chicken prior to dilution plus lots of MSG and some instant eggs. I wanted to like it, but ended up feeling regretful and greasy the whole day. Whatever you do don't go!!!!!!

I ordered the chicken curry and chicken chop suey to go for dinner. Made to order and tasted fresh. The curry had a little kick to it which was nice. The chop suey was delicious. Food came out fast too. I like it!

Check your to-go order before you leave!! We are regulars, and the Lee's know us. One of our entrees was not in the bag; however, Jimmy Lee said they would bring it to our house for us. The sweet and sour sauce in the entree we did get was so watered down, and the chicken was way over cooked. Sad, just sad. This used to be our favorite Chinese place. We really try to support family-owned, local establishments. And since they made the effort to make it right, we will be back.

We love the food at Lee's Dragon. The Lo Mein is so fresh and tastes great, especially the beef and mushroom. The egg rolls are big, full of flavor, and worth the drive.

Never in my life have I had to return Chinese food... But the food lees dragon served up for a dine in order was horrendous!!!! Surprised they haven't been shut down for giving customers food poisoning!! Ordered boneless spare rind with pork fried rice, fried dumplings and sesame chicken. Dumplings were deep fried and not fully cooked, the center was raw!!! Boneless spare rib glaze tasted like black liquorish and the Rick was like sticky rice with no veg just a brown glop of rice. Horrible!!! Don't waste your time. At least the manager gave us a refund!

Uh....I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. If I was driving by and was starving, I may stop in again.

We've been through Lee's Dragon drive thru several times. The food is ok. It is cheap, convenient and close to where we live. Their menu is pretty extensive. You will find the usual dishes at very reasonable price. The drive thru is impressively fast considering they really cook most of the dishes to order.

Best Chinese Food in Jax. I drive from St Augustine to pick up food here

It looks like a fast-food restaurant converted to a Chinese food restaurant because it is, complete with drive-through window. It sells chop suey & other 1950s pseudo-chinese soupy brown fare over pork-fried or white rice only, also ghetto wings & French fries, with strange tang to every dish that may have been rancid oil, all served in excess amounts of styrofoam. This can be brought into a fairly neat dining area for consumption. People who enjoy real Chinese food did not enjoy this.

The family that runs this place are super nice people. The place isn't filthy dirty, like so many restaurants in Jacksonville seem to be. I really appreciate that. The food is pretty good. Its as good as almost any other Chinese take out in the area, and better than most. If you're in the neighborhood, you could easily do worse. But I wouldn't drive across town to eat here. Two stars for the food, + one for the Lee family. Or maybe it should be the other way around...

I eat here all the time. All the food that I've had here was fairly good. Their General Tso's Chicken is a personal favorite of mine. Also, there is also PLENTY of food in each dinner, especially for the price. You probably won't eat all of it unless you're very hungry. Except to pay about $6-8 per person for a dinner and a drink.

Everything's been great here, the sauce for the sweet and sour was kind of gelatinous instead of liquid but tasted good, their cashew chicken and general tso's chicken was good. A coworker got the chicken noodle soup and loved it, another got the vegetable soup, tons of veggies packed in it. Doesn't hurt my that they are open to 11pm on fri-sat night, has a drive through too.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
