Absolutely FABULOUS! No really this place rocks, food is more then great, service is more then top notch (Nikki might be the best waitress ever!). And the atmosphere is great! I usually get very uncomfortable sitting around crowds but it was very comfortable here. But I can't rave enough about how good the food was... Superb!

Went with a group of Biker friends. It was very chilly outside yesterday. The had us sit outside, but did light up the heater for us and that helped. The food was okay and the service on my behalf sucked. I was so mad at this waitress. She dropped my toast, said she would bring more-left my toast on the ground and never brought me more. Never ever got a refill on my measley one cup of coffee-I needed more. She never asked! My eggs were not cooked over medium. They cooked like rubber, did not eat them. I asked for a to go box. It took her 25 minutes to bring me my box and check. The rest of my group, she knew them and took good care of them. My husband, daughter and myself were so pissed off at this waitress, I might not ever go back again. She totally ignored us three. My bill was almost $40.00. I had trouble leaving a tip, but did leave a small tip. I usually tip 25%. Not this time. I don't get mad very often, but I was pissed yesterday. Maybe it was a bad day for her. Not in a hurry to go back, EVER.

I have almost had everything on the menu and it's all bomb. I recommend the burgers, cuban sandwich and nickys boneless rib eye.... and smoked wings, smoked in a smoker.

I'd do a solid 3.5 if I could. The service is ok, slow on refills and such mostly, but the buffalo salad I always order is never disappointing. They make really good grilled veggies but ask for them light on the oil or you lose all sense of healthy. It's pretty busy on the football days. They seem to attract a good mix of ages and all. It's nothing spectacular, but good food.

I am shocked to see an average overall rating for Jerry's. I think they have the best burger in Jax. My only complaint is that they use House Brand ketchup. Never fear Heinz has a small bottle that I bring with me. Okay I have another complaint. I can't stand it when a sports bar silences the tv's and invites some douche in to do trivia. I just want to enjoy my burger and catch up on sportscenter. It is a good thing I love that burger.

I created my Yelp account just to write a review for this establishment. Let me state upfront that this review is strictly about the service. I never even made it to ordering food here. It was Gameday Saturday, and I called ahead to see if they were going to be playing my team's game. They said, "sure, come on over!". I even verified the channel and game being played. So I arrive about 10 minutes before the start of the game and was even greeted by a hostess saying "were you the one who called about the game?". I said yes and they said I could sit over here and they would turn the game on. Well 10 minutes go by and the TV didn't change so I got up and asked a different waitress in the back about the game and she said, "sure, they'll take care of it for you". Ten more minutes pass and the TV in front of me is still showing the same game as a few other TV's nearby. So I asked our waitress (waitress #3) who brought us our menus about the game and she said, "sure, it's coming right up". This is now a good 10 minutes into the start of the game, ever after calling ahead and still no channel change. We gave it another 5 minutes or so-15 minutes after the start of the game and about 25 minutes of being there in total-and we left. We didn't even make it to placing our order. If you are planning to go here to watch your sports team, I recommend finding another place!

Went here yesterday with some friends for "brunch"...the menu has a lot to choose from and we all got something different. I opted for a grilled chicken quesadilla wrap. It was pretty tasty and another got the BELT (Bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato sandwich) which was really good. They have bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's for $10.00. Not a bad deal. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is because they forgot some of our items and the service was extremely slow. On top of that, there were about 4 different servers that came to our table with stuff we DIDN'T order asking if it was ours. It just kind of seemed sloppy. The drinks that I ordered were not really made good (cosmo), but over all I would say it's pretty a-ok and I would probably go back with a group of people, if we needed something close by that had televisions and a decent food selection that wasn't too pricey. Mostly, the food was good, the prices are decent, but the service is definitely slow and "forgetful".

Met a friend here for a beer and conversation. Sat outside, with the smoking cabal. There was a little breeze, so the smoke wasn't bad. I had a Death Burger (habanero peppers) and it was tasty, friend had the fried fish and shrimp plate, and she enjoyed it. Prices were ok, a little above average, I'd guess. 5 beers and two "meals" was just north of $40. Service was spotty. Customers and servers were friendly. Several tvs outsitde.

I don't understand any of the more negative reviews. We have been going here every week for the last year on Tuesday nights for the Trivia. Now one person didn't seem to think that a sports bar should have Trivia - well find out when Trivia is on and go to another bar that night. Vegan - what they heck is that about - if you want vegetables go to a farmers market for goodness sake. Service - we have gone at many times other than trivia nights and I have never had an issue with the service. Melanie, Nikki, Lisa, Victoria, Cheyenne and Emily are the ones that we usually see and NEVER have we had an issue. We go there to have a good time with friends and family and relax - if you want fast service go to McDonalds. Have had most of the items on the menu and it is always good. Breakfasts are fabulous. Family friendly - what else could you ask for a neighborhood bar and grill. Go and enjoy yourself - life is too short

This is my favorite place to have breakfast. It can get crowded if you get there to late, especially during football season, but if you can get a table it is well worth the wait. Smoke on the water is my go to. The Monte Crisco sandwich is pretty amazing as well. I have never been there for lunch or dinner, however, I highly recommend breakfast.

We went for Sunday brunch... So my 5 star rating is based on my awesome spinach, feta, tomato omelet, yummy home fries and rye toast. The portion was large and I took half home. The omelet was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of filling. We ate outside and had a great server named Lisa. She was friendly, prompt and remembered everything we ordered. Hubby had "Smoke on the Water". Great choice.... But he was secretly wishing for some corned beef hash! Not sure I would try any other breakfast place right now. Go Jerry!

Great family sports bar. Lots of tvs. One of our favorite neighborhood places to go! Even at their busiest, they are super friendly and the food it great. The fish sandwich & sweet potato fries are yummy! The kids enjoy playing trivia against others in the restaurant and it keeps them busy while we are eating.
Service is terrible. Food is OK, but not amazing. Lots of options on the menu. Collard Greens are good though! This place has a prime location for the area. Not really any competition other than Outback. I think that's why they do so well.

By coincidence I met the owner and a touring musician whose band would be playing there on a Friday night (8-MN?) when I was working in the neighborhood. I figured that it was meant to be. I'd been there once before, mid-day, for a patty melt and it was good. I'm a burger-meister. Swiss and mushroom burger was a good buy. The cloe slaw was marvelous. I don't drink, but my buddy does, and the beers were big, as was the cola. The place was loud and fun. Good band. Good value. Nice staff. No the owner wasn't there, nor was I comped. Just enjoy.

Nothing too special here. Drinks are overpriced. My parents like going there for brunch on Sunday and while its always packed I'm never overjoyed but what I get. There are much better place in the area that serve the same type of food and do a better job preparing it.

I love Jerry's. Friendly service, and although I see many complaints of slowness of service, I've never experienced it myself and I am in there several times a month. The wings and hot sauce are killer. Brunch on the weekends is also good. Pancakes are huge and fluffy, and the French toast is to die for. Plus, bottomless mimosas! Yum! I've gone through a lot of the menu and have yet to find something I didn't like.

If the food was not decent, this place would be closed. The owner just doesn't get it by not addressing the poor service. It is the worst. Slow and with attittude. They seem content woith their "regulars" and will ignore you with no probelm. I frequently see employees off the clock simply walk behind the bar and fill large plastic cups with booze. They must be taking a bating on food costs.

Ask what the daily special is, it's a good value and a good dinner. Great karaoke on Wednesday nights, sometimes a live band on Saturday nights.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is the reason I created a Yelp account. Food is mediocre at best, subpar even for bar food. The last time we were there there was a hair in my food AND they mischarged us. I notified the server who then brought over the owner who was quite argumentative and ultimately refused to adjust our bill. NEVER AGAIN.

I've been here twice now because my friends like to go here... First time service was HORRIBLE! The waitress completely ignored us because she thought we would understand she was busy since she knew my friend... There are NO vegan options here... They put cheese on everything... I got the same thing both times, sauté veggie wrap... First time was good. Second time the veggies were different, and they put cheese on it. Veggies to me usually means just that, VEGGIES! Not the case here... I thought I was being smart by selecting a side salad instead of fries to go with... Wrong again. Cheese comes on it too and the lettuce was wilted.
