Great place to get the party started! Perfect location right next to the stadium with outdoor patios on opposite sides of the pub. Small menu but the chicken wraps are delicious.

Well the food by itself won't make this place stay around, but the self-service concept, the ambiance, and its location to the entertainment venues makes this place a nice stop. I did not care for the tortilla chips but I liked the white queso. I didn't care for the burger but I liked the fries. So hit or miss with the "special event menu" but I enjoyed stopping here after the Armada match.

It was an incredibly busy night, and this place was packed!! There was seating on both outer areas and they both had bars set up along with the main bar inside. The inside was very interesting with fun decor. I could see this an excellent place to visit when it's much less crowded. We didn't have an opportunity to sample a menu but it smelled great. The wine glasses were plastic and seemed to hold 8/12 oz each. They served Mark West. The outdoor area had both soft and hard seats available to move about as needed. I look forward to returning to sample the menu and enjoy an evening just hanging around .... Enjoy!!!

I think this place is great, they were having lots of people eating and drinking before Garth Brooks concert on October 11, and service was still good and efficient. I had pulled pork sandwich and I can say it was really good. They had little space inside, but outside they have a patio to take care of the customers that cannot find space indoors.

I left not wowed by the food but by the concept that fans of all sorts can get a bite close by and celebrate their teams whether in Victory or in Loss. A place of celebration with others who feel the same spirit! But I must say the fries were very tasty! I would not order the chicken tenders again but I would the Nachos for the cheese only. It was a special event menu so maybe I'll get something next time that will make me reedit for the better!!

As you come in there are two lines. One for alcohol and all the way next to the chalkboard is the line for food. Staff was friendly and energetic. Food came out hot and fast and cooked just right. I highly recommend their fish sandwich. Great place to stop in and prep for the next big event at the Veterans Arena!

I have been to the tavern a couple of times now. It's a nice place and the people are helpful. I do know a lot of the staff so when I say I like it I might be prejudice. The food is pretty good for a bar. The only thing I can say on the less favorable side is that they are FSU fans. Go Gators!!!

This place gets 4 stars because the service was fast and efficient especially with hundreds of people right before the Paul McCartney concert. The lines were long but moved quickly. Their prices were fair and were far from being the prices I would have paid inside the veterans arena. I got the chicken tenders which were crispy and juicy. Not dry at all but they were nothing great just your standard tender that was probably frozen moments before but it was atleast fried to perfection. My brother in law got a chicken sandwich which he gobbled right up and said it was tasty, it did look good. My dad and sister split a burger which they said was also good. It had cheese, lettuce and tomato. We also got a basket of fried which could have used an extra minute or two in the fryer but I get it they had to serve hundreds so they were pumping them out fast, but atleast they weren't super soggy. They were half crispy and the other half almost there. They were also very well seasoned. To say the least, food was all eaten and drink refills were free. Much better than the hotdog from the street which would have cost me almost the same as my meal here. Everything was about $8 or so and basket of fries was $5. I def would come again before a concert.

Went down to watch the BSC Title game with other FSU Alumni. We cussed, cried, and cheered FSU to victory in one of the weirdest sports bars I've ever been too. Not enough tv's and the ones there were in awkward angles. Spent more time on my feet looking around corners then I expected. One fan wanted to buy our whole area drinks so I never made it to the bar to check what they were serving. But not much variety on tap. After the first quarter I was ready to cry, even more so when I learned there was no wait staff. I had to walk to the back of the bar and wait in line to order food. Nothing good happens while you wait in line. Once I get close to the register, and away from a viewable tv, I hear cheers and boos and have to play peek a boo to order and watch the replays. Extremely limited menu. I order some wings and fries and told I have to return to pick up my food in 10-15 minutes??? Head back to my spot and watch the game. Thankfully and surprisingly someone does bring my food to my spot. But this was some last minute decision. Because later through the game I see random servers going around table to table asking customers if the food belongs to them? Awkward much? Buffalo wings are nice and mild. Surprisingly the Jerk wings are FIRE. My lips and tongue had third degree heat. Very authentic Jerk rubbed wings. Not bad but I can't see myself returning to watch a game.

Place was closed an hour prior to the Jacksonville Suns baseball game with a sign saying they will be open Saturday at 4pm

With two big sports arenas in the vicinity, you think there would be more food options in the area. Thank goodness for Jax Sports Tavern. For a girls night out with Cher & Cyndi Lauper we knew we would need some food in our bellies. The tavern was bumping before the concert, but it was obvious this wasn't their first rodeo. They had multiple bars set up to satisfy your beverage needs. And they've changed the food ordering to more of a quick service style place, where you order at the kitchen, but a waitress will bring it to you. Standard bar fare: chicken tenders, pulled pork sammies, french fries. It definitely hit the spot before we danced like crazy next door.

Can't beat the location if you are going to a Suns or Armada game. It is literally right across from the stadium, so it's extremely convenient to stop here before or after. They have a good selection of local brews, and the patios are spacious. The food is typically bar fare but certainly not bad.

This is a great little spot next to the sports stadium. My husband and I were there for the Florida vs. Georgia game (GO GATORS!) and we stumbled on this little spot looking for coffee. We had great service and came back later for lunch. I had the pulled pork sandwich which was excellent and he had the grilled chicken sandwich which he said he enjoyed. I am handicapped and the staff went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. Yes the line is long and yes you have to wait to order the food but my husband was barely back at the table when the food arrived piping hot and delicious! Great place!

So I hear this place has a new owner. If that's true kudos to the new owner. We came for Jazz Brunch. The entertainment was perfect. She was good but not so loud you couldn't converse. The food is excellent. We had Chicken & Waffles and it was great. My friends had Shrimp & Grits and French Toast and a Western Omelette. I tried all of them and they were all really good! The service could stand some improvement but this was their first Jazz Brunch on Sunday and with the owners being new, this should improve. If the service had been good I would've given them a 5 star review!

Maybe I came on a busy day. There was the USA v. Nigeria game in addition to a baseball game. First, as someone mentioned, there are two lines: at the bar (drinks) and at the back (food). That being said, you don't get full service at your table. You'll have to wait in an extraordinarily long line just to order before having to wait another hour for your food. Second, the kitchen seemed so disorganized, and the runners kept spending extra time figuring out which tables got which orders. Come up with a system and figure it out. The small numbers on the tables do not help, especially if you've got a huge crowd. Their bartenders were their saving grace. The drinks were very reasonably priced, especially outside the stadium, and their bartenders were working their butts off to make sure everyone was served within a reasonable time. Perfect place to pre-game. Just not a great place to get some food.

Probably some of the worst food I have attempt to eat. The Blackened Chicken Sandwich is black because of the seasoning not for being burnt. It was incredibly dry. The chili fries look d good but disappointment soon followed with the lack of flavor in the chili. The self service food ordering flat out sucks. There is a line for the bar and the other line for food. The entire time we had people hovering over our table.

Went here after the GA-Fl game, was busy but our food came out quickly and the wings were great, beer selection was pretty standard but they had a couple craft brews and its a lot cheaper than in the stadium. Even though it was tough to get a table they had several bars open to handle the crowd, good postgame option
