"I wish I had more hands so I could give it four thumbs down!" This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. We tried this place for Father's Day since they had a Dads Eat Free promotion. We got there about 12:30, and we were told to seat ourselves. There were only 2 servers we could see. We waited 10 minutes to get a drink order and had to request a kids menu twice. Meanwhile, people keep pouring into the restaurant and I wish I could let them know what they're in for. The food comes and my husband gets the wings(which he said were tasty) and I get a healthy steak. I didn't enjoy my steak because I NEVER GOT A STEAK KNIFE!!! It took an additional 10 minutes for my daughters burger to come. Let me be clear, this isn't the servers fault. Our server was the bartender and had 4 tables. The fault lies with management, to be under staffed on a holiday, with a promotion going on is just.....idiotic.

This was a much better experience this time. I was greeted at the door. I sat at the door and the bartender was very welcoming. My order only took about 15 which was good considering I ordered two meals. The wings we awesome and the burger was very tasty. I didn't have alcohol but notice several beers on tap. Good experience, I will be back!

I pass by this place every day to and from work. Until today I have procrastinated purchasing wings from here mainly due to already preparing something for lunch. Today I had to run some errands in town and decided that today was the day to give this place a try. In between my errands I called head a spoke to Jutland. She advised me of specials and finally placed my order for the Raspberry Chipotle flavored Legs. Yes legs not wings. That was the special today. So I arrived to pick up my order and Jutland had it all ready to go for me. I was there maybe 5 minutes. Dinner time arrive and I looked forward to my meal. While the concept of the Raspberry & Chipotle was good but these legs kind left me flat and wanting more flavor more heat for sure. The Sweet was there (they were sticky) but I could hardly detect the flavors of the Raspberry nor the heat of the Chipotle Pepper. I am not writing this place off as of yet I'm gonna try it again cause I believe the flavors I seek can be had I just have to figure out how to have them dial it in.

I am a big fan of Hurricane Grill, I frequent the Baymeadows and Fleming Island locations- that said, this location should be shut down. It is that bad. I have been 3 times, last night was the last shot. On every occasion the wings have been bland and not well coated with the sauces. Last time we had 1 or 2 wings that were freezer burned, this time it was upward of half. The garlic-parm fries that are usually to die for are dry at this location, more like bland fries with parmesan sprinkled on top of the stack. My table was gross and sticky (just like the other 2 times), there were clear ring marks of dried up soda all over the table indicating they probably "clean" them with a dry towel. Also once again, there was no sign of wet wipes. I don't even know how this location is still open, we counted 6 other patrons while we were there and it appears to be this way all the time. Done with this one.

It has been years since I stopped in to eat at Hurricane Grill, even though I pass by it all the time. I stopped here after class last night around 7:30 or so, and there weren't many people at all. They must have renovated since the last time that I had been there because I don't remember it being so bright or being as large as it is now. I walked in and was able to pick my seat, and even though they seemed to have waitresses to take care of the floor, the bartender waited on me. I really wanted a cider, but all they had was Woodchuck (I'm typically a Magner's or Crispin girl). I settled for a soda and ordered a boneless wing platter. For an additional $1.99, you can pick two sides to go with your platter, so I went with fries and broccoli. The broccoli's taste was terrific. It was cooked in lemon juice and garlic, but it was just a bit too soggy for my liking. My boneless wings were tasty, but it seemed that the chef used as minimal amount of wing sauce as possible. I'm a fan of a liberal use of sauce. The fries were good, but I wish I had more sauce from my wings so that I could have dipped them in the remainder. My meal came to a grand total of $18 and it was just me. My issue there is to make a wing combo like I did, it was an extra $1.99 on top of the wings. Why not just make a combo deal instead of making it sound like an extra charge? It seemed a bit on the expensive side when it was just myself eating, and I didn't even order a beer to go with my meal.

I went to this place for the first time onSunday 3/16 and it was terrible. I had grilled chicken and it had no flavor what so ever and the corn and rice that came with was worthless and I had to change it for French Fries. I will never go back ther

Good service. Good food but will charge extra to split wing order into different flavors. They also wanted to charge extra for ranch dressing when we wanted some to dip our appetizer of fries with bacon, jalapeños, and cheese. It just rubbed me the wrong way by charging extra for things.

I have been here twice and very pleased each time. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile. Wait staff continually checked on me but not exessively. Wings were great!

We go here a few times a year, football is a big draw, but also when we crave some of the apps on the menu. The menu has expanded a lot since it first opened, as has the place with space on both sides in an large airy open space, plenty of room for kids to run and play. On our last trip we had a great app and decided to get the boneless and then the grilled wings. The wife chose grilled wings, I usually go with the messy Hot ones, but she was in charge tonight. They did bring out some hot sauce for me to dip them in, so I could get the same flavor. So that was nice. A few beverages and we even got a lot of stuff for the kiddos to go. This is one of the only places I know who has a rewards card. Why more restaurants do not feature a reward card, is beyond me. There are probably many great restaurants in Jax, but I'll never get to them because of a lack of a reward for the customers to dine with them. Its a shame.

Pretty good! Wings were really tasty, oil was clean and the sauce was more thoughtful than BW-3. The server was really on her game, also. She had five tables and did a great job handling the lunch rush. I'll be back :)

The wings are good but OMFG why does it always take so long to make them?! Last time I went it was almost 45 minutes between order and getting two 10 piece baskets of wings. It wasn't even crowded. Sad when it's faster to drive the extra distance to Dick's on Blanding than to come here and wait for food.
