We decided to try this place out for lunch today. We aren't vegetarians or vegans, we're happily omnivores but love trying out new foods. Their food is delicious. I had the Portobello mushroom panini and my husband had the buffalo "chicken" wrap/sandwich and we both had the potato salad and brownies . We'll be going back. Think you're not one to like vegan food, give them a try.

How in the h**l did we land this beautiful place up here on the Northside?! Where do I start? Best soup in town period.. ! Best vegan sandwiches in town.. !! Best... !! Just check this amazing gem out!!. Will completely blow your mind! You will not be disappointed!

Right off the highway- Garden Truck is a stand out for delicious vegan fare at a more than fair price. Great interior design is only surpassed by the food which on this particular Saturday afternoon was pitch perfect. Biscuits and mushroom gravy? Forget about it- earthy, crispy, spot-on. House-made vegan sausage bursting with fennel? Yes please. Great salads, excellent wraps. A chocolate chip cookie for dessert pushed it over the top. This is straight up 'om' food. And nom food. Get in here and support great people doing great stuff.

Outstanding vegan restaurant. Food was incredible and staff was friendly. They make their own sausage and if they are having vegetable soup for their special.... Get it. Vegetable broth is the stock and all veggies are not cooked too death. We were passing through town but if we lived close to here, I'd be there at least once a week.

There really are not many vegan choices in Jacksonville so I was very excited when the Garden Truck opened. It's a bright, clean little restaurant with a friendly staff. I like that you can watch them make your food..and the food prep area is kept clean. The first time I went, I had their key lime smoothie and it was to die for. Literally tasted like a key lime pie in a cup. I also ordered their "sausage" and peppers sandwich and it was very delicious. Great flavor! Plus..a cupcake to go..they know what they're doing with the baked goods. The second time I went, I had their breakfast burrito and breakfast potatoes. It was so good! I can't wait to go back!

Very good at a good price. Order at the counter "fast casual" style. I had the pepper an onion sandwich which was very tasty. It has plenty of warm comfort foods for vegan.

So delicious. We couldn't decide so we ordered the French toast, the gumbo, buffalo chick-un wrap, paprika hummus toast with tomato and avocado, with sides of fruit, potato salad, and an Elvis Smoothie.... And it's ALL Vegan! Everything was full of flavor. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was pleasant with cute decor. Whether you're a carnivore like me or not, def check this place out. Also, the cookies are to die for.

Order at the register or be promptly waited in one of the many place settings, Garden Truck is a great place to have an exceptionally delicious and incredibly healthy meal. My first visit the chopped power salad was a Very welcome change of pace from my typical home made lunch with the roasted vegetable and artichoke panini becoming my benchmark for all future vegetable sandwiches. Super affordable and once more a great meal!!!

The food is absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. I'm so thrilled that we were lucky enough to get Garden Truck out here in Oceanway. The location is conveniently right off the highway for travelers. We went for breakfast and both the French toast and breakfast burrito were incredible - even the coffee was great. I can't wait to go back for lunch, and I definitely plan to become a regular. By the way, if your not vegan, I still highly recommend you try this place. You will be amazingly surprised.

Mmmm. I was going to leave that as my review but I thought that wouldn't do Garden Truck enough justice. The place is fantastical. Everything was fresh and easily customizable to meet any picky eater's needs. I gorged on their avocado grilled cheese sandwich, while washing that down with lentil/pea soup, followed-up by peach cobbler. This may perhaps be a vegan's mecca...but it's up to you to decide. So get out there and give'r.

Second time in - Everything has been great! We got brunch to-go and ran in today for a quick lunch. The staff, food, smoothies, all tip top. I'd be in here constantly if they were closer (*cough* second location in Springfield *cough*)

I went here today cause of a request by a friend. It's a vegan vegetarian place that has been open only a short time I believe. Looking at their menu they offer all three food groups. Plant based, veg based and meat also to my surprise. I liked the insides all bright colors and some cool pics on the walls. They have their version of the new light fixtures. I think they used metal buckets that they used to harvest apples in. I have to admit that I was very skeptical of the food and if I would like it. I was sure that they were going to make a glob of something and call it sausage. They already have a black bean burger. All that I have tasted were like black bean play-doh with the texture of dried mud. But, I went with their fennel sausage with onions n peppers on a ciabatta roll. It had some nice flavor and the fennel really came out. They also slathered it with a spicy aioli. These days you can't say mayo it's an aioli. It's just mayo with some sriracha thrown in and called aioli. The sandwich was quite tasty thou. I got the chicken-un salad sandwich for the wife. It was just that lettuce (butter) tomato, walnuts, grapes all in between some really thick cut multi grain bread. I will say that I was quite surprised with how good their food was. Maybe I should open my foodie mind more.

Vegan amazing!! Oh man I got lucky finding this place. I'm not from the area but it was so easy to get to off the interstate. If you're looking for a fresh and original healthy meal this is your spot! If you're passing through Jax like I was its worth the detour off I-95. Pricing is so reasonable I want to move from Miami!! Don't leave without a huge fresh baked cookie and some lemonade.

I am not a vegan or vegetarian. But their food is so good, you do not realize it is vegan! Their Chick-Un Sandwich is my absolute favorite! It is amazing! Their soups are really good too!

We've eaten here twice and ordered some larger portions for our first vegan Thanksgiving dinner. Everything thus far has been delicious!! Love the tempeh bacon, lettuce & tomato sandwich along with the reuben sandwich and grilled cheez. If you're going on the weekend get there early because they close up by 3 and they're closed on Sunday.

Garden truck is Jacksonville's second all vegan establishment, which is a huge come up. The space is very clean and efficient, the service is always super friendly and enthusiastic. The food is pretty good, a lot of meat substitutes. This is a panera-like business; all counter service, sandwiches, cookies, and soups. The price points are very reasonable and the portions are perfect. This is a great stop for a wrap and a comforting side, there's always a daily special. The location is a bit confusing (so far from everything) but it's worth the drive if you're doing lunch with some friends.

Incredible lunch! Special hummus with delicious carrots, cukes, and sourdough bread. Cauliflower broccoli soup with nutritional-yeasty-base was probably the best I've had with lots of ground black pepper and more yummy crusty bread. Special tempeh crab cake sandwich was delic! The Clean Green smoothie was the perfect compliment- light, tart, and refreshing. Got cookie bars to-go because I was so satiated already but they looked too good to pass up, chock full of nuts, chocolate chips, and coconut. The service was friendly and helpful. Really appreciate the green to-go containers, including biodegradable straws. Way to go Garden Truck! Will definitely be back with an appetite!

My boyfriend and I were extremely delighted by every aspect of this restaurant. It's a clean, cute place with friendly service and excellent food. We passed through on a road trip today and had the buffalo chicken wrap, the artichoke spinach dip, and the sausage with peppers and onions (sandwich), and we'd recommend them all! If we lived closer (we're 4+ hours away), we'd be regulars for sure. Oh and they have great prices too! Missing it already.
