I'll try to be as honest as I can about this place. Been going there on and off for many years going back when it was Nora's And they split the place with their then second location off Mccormick road. If your looking NY style thin crust then this place is good for that. However that's where the positives end. Their food all tastes frozen or jarred. Specifically their meatballs and their sauce. They have recently tried to upgrade by getting rid of the tattered booths and tiny 20" crt tvs that used to be in the corners with rabbit ears. This is all nice if you make sure the place is clean. Specifically tabletops and the floors. Flys were definitely a nuisance last time. Lastly the service, not the friendliest of staff behind the counter, which I believe the older lady is Nora after the old namesake of the restaurant. She is not the most attentive or even warm and friendly. Anyways to sum it up, this place is where you go in the area for NY crust for pickup, if you going out to eat I recommend to keep looking

One 6 months ago I wrote a bad review for mikes pizza. Just an hour ago I ordered a calzone special. I will have to say it was delicious, plenty of cheese and plenty of mushrooms, pepperoni, feta cheese sausage onions and olives. In short it was a very delicious meal and I will return. Great neighborhood pizza place. Skip

3.5 - 4 stars!! Great pizza and calzones!! All I've had here are their pizza and calzones - and they're great!! While Moon River is my fav pizza place, this place is right across the street from where I work - and I love coming here for lunch!! Their prices are very reasonable and their service is great!! If you are in the area, stop on by if you want good pizza or calzones - you won't regret it!!

First things first, I felt like I was walking into my own house when I walked through the door, the customer service was great. This was my first time here so I wanted to try out a little of everything as I do at most Italian restaurants. I ordered the 10 piece sweet and tangy wings, Chef Salad, and a Pepperoni Calzone. Wings: The sauce was excellent and the wings were cooked just as I wanted them nice and crispy. Chef Salad: The portion was huge!!!! Just like I like it and the ranch dressing is made in house and was excellent. Calzone; The dough is made in house as well great portion and all the fillings were just right, I didn't feel shorted at all. They are located on my route home from work and they definitely will see me again.

Awesome pizza. waitress was very nice and it did not take very long to be served. She was very attentive to our needs. It seems they have some sort of entertainment, maybe karaoke but didnt see clear advertising for it. I did see a flyer that said trivia on tuesfay nite. Food was great and the price was reasonable too.

Great pizzeria at a reasonable price. Tonight we tried EJ's for the first time. We noticed it last week while trying the restaurant next door. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food given that the plaza it is in has seen better days. To be cliche, don't judge a book by its cover. Upon entering I was happy to see that it had a similar feel to it as the pizza parlors back in NY. It wasn't forced like some places that claim they are authentic NY style pizza. They even had the smell right that greets you at the door. The menu was well rounded including both pizza and Italian cuisine, as well as Sicilian style pizza which is kind of rare. We had a 10" half sausage pizza, garlic knots and a house salad. The total was $21. GREAT price! We enjoyed the food, just the right amount of grease dripping off each slice, perfect hand tossed thickness, everything, and it's convenient to our house so they deliver!! Not an easy find for us. I would say the only complaint that I had was that they only sell pizza by the slice for lunch (1200-3pm I believe it was), but the 10" pizza was a perfect size to share. It's now about 4 hours later and I'm still full. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommended.

This hidden gem in Arlington is my new go to for pizza and Italian food! Stopped in on my way home and had a salad, garlic knots, and baked ziti for a very reasonable price. Everything tasted great. The staff was very attentive for 8 pm and I got everything right on time and nice and fresh and hot!

Now known as KT's Pizza this place is great. The bread is made fresh daily, and they have really awesome garlic cheese bread. The pizza is super fresh and tastes amazing. I love it here. They also have a nice little special on some days where you can buy one large pizza and get a medium pizza for free. Which is great when you don't want to cook dinner, you can just get it to go and feed the whole family. Plus, the pizza reheats fantastically. The service is friendly and courteous and I like that they serve the tables. They have great chicken salads and their chicken parm subs are yummy and fresh, too. I had a philly cheese steak calzone and man, the flavor blew me out of the water. I really like this place and highly recommend it. It's hidden next to the DIck's Wings, located in the shopping plaza where the old YMCA was.

The best New York style pizza in JAX! Nice crust and perfect cheese and sauce. Plenty of seating inside and a varied Italian menu. Cold beer and soda on tap.

I would love to give this place a 5, they have the best pizza dough I've ever tasted. However, sauce is equally important to me -- pizza and Italian dishes are only as good as the sauce they're prepared with. Their pizza sauce is so watery, you can't even tell there is any on the pizza. If you like lite or no sauce, you will LOVE their pizza. If you like moderate to extra sauce, you won't find it here. We asked for extra sauce on the side and realized immediately why the pizza (which we ordered with extra sauce to boot) appeared to have none at all. Hopefully they will cook the tomato sauce and allow at least some of the water to cook out - it reminded me of crushed tomatoes and spices with all of the tomato water/juice included (raw).

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
