Now I like Cleo's sandwiches for breakfast. I can call them leave the house and my sandwich is made and still hot as I wanted it. They make everything fresh when you order it. My toast is toasted just the way I like it light. There is a little crunch to it. They almost know me by my voice by now. This could be a easy in easy out kind of place. Oh yea have you heard they have the best taco salads in town. Eat one and you will also know that they don't lie about they salads. I didn't know that they had anything else on their menu for the first 2 years or going to Cleo's.

Ok, I can't confirm their claim of having the best taco salad in town. It was OK but nothing special. Got a large taco salad & it is at least 2 servings & thus can be considered a value. Small, quaint lil spot with friendly service. Ya comes with either a medium or large taco salad but I want offered or told that in ordering but read it on a menu, asked then received it. Oversight? Maybe.

A small place that is a local favorite, They are known for their taco salad and it definitely lives up to the hype. Small seating area that fills quick. Check hours before visit, small diner that offers great food and a no frills atmosphere.

I have only been to Cleos once. The Taco Salad was excellent. Limited seating and cash only. I will definitely be stopping by again on my next visit to Jville.

If you are speeding on this back road you will miss it, the restaurant closes at 2pm Mon-Fri. I decided to stop by and check it out and was pleasantly surprised. The ladies that work here are very friendly and knew most of the customers by name. I ordered the Medium Taco Salad (which filled up an entire Styrofoam container), it was hot and made pretty quickly. The menu is based breakfast to lunch, after that performance I will make more visits. They only take cash by the way.

Taco salads are great! Cash only - so remember your cash, no ATM or anyplace close to get it. The staff is friendly but the space is a little tight inside, so go early or go late. Burgers looked delish (haven't tried them yet). The ranch dressing for the taco salad is home made!

Cleo's is a hidden gem that pretty much only us Oceanway folks know about. Unfortunately, they are only open for lunch... darnnit... I often find myself craving their food at night and I'm out of luck! Hubby introduced me to this place. He's been eating the taco salads here for years. They claim to have the best taco salad in town and according to my husband, they have the best taco salad he's ever had. I don't eat taco salads, so I'll have to take his word for it. If you are a taco salad eater, you should definitely try one here. They have a really good bbq pulled pork sandwich and it's very filling. Just the perfect amount of bbq so it has a nice flavour, but not so much that it's messy and gets everywhere. I also really love their club sandwiches. They cook the bacon perfectly and the sandwiches come with both turkey and ham. So many places like to do club sandwiches with just turkey, but I like both, so they are perfect here. Make sure to bring cash. They do not accept cards and there is no ATM on the property. There is very limited seating indoors and it's pretty cramped. Most people call in their orders and pick them up to go. There is seating outside in a screened-in gazebo. However, this is Florida, so that option may not be a good one. Hubby and I have eaten in here once, but because of how crowded they are, we just pick out food up and bring it home.

This place is as awesome as I remember! The taco salad IS definitely the best I've had in town...It has great flavor and there's plenty of food even if you order a small. They only accept cash, so be sure to stop by an ATM before heading there.... It's a small place so seating is limited, but they have an outdoor seating area if you can't find seating in the main building. It's definitely worth stopping by here at least once.

Best taco salads ever. Bunch of little old lady's in the back cooking up a storm. Perfect diner. Literally everytime I go line out the door. No criticism here just in love with the food and the people.

It was just ok. Taco salad was huge but the taste was nothing better then what I can mix up at the house. I'd probably try something else if I go back.

First thing this is a CASH ONLY place. Sucks, but I had to go to the ATM down the street to get some cash. The people are fun, charismatic, and nice. However, I think I might be the minority here. I checked this place out because everyone claimed it had the best taco salad ever. Heck even the sign says it. I was pretty disappointed. It's really nothing special besides the hefty serving you get for the money. Tortilla chips, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, some beans, tomatoes, and a bunch of ranch dressing served in a box. It's nothing that I couldn't of made with ingredients I have at home and really it only took them a minute to bring it out to me after I ordered it. Maybe I just went in with much higher hopes from reading all these reviews. The pictures people posted of some of the other food though looks great. I might have to come back and give it one more chance to try something else. That club sandwich that was posted looks really good. I'd like to give the breakfast in a cup a try if I can wake up in time for it.

BREAKFAST IN A CUP - Best thing ever. & I always get the peanut brittle. Taco Salads are good - never had ranch on a taco salad before until I came here & it's amazing! (Homemade ranch to be exact)... To me, it's worth the drive out (about 20 minutes) from where I live.

The absolute best taco salad I've ever had was had at Cleo's. They are a down-to-earth group of people who know how to do what they do. Don't come in here and waste their time by not being sure of what you want. They are typically busy so order what you want, pay your cash (only) and get out of the way for the next customer. We have tried making a copy of their taco salad at home, but can't come close. I used to come here a lot when I worked nearby, but missed it a lot when we moved away. Every time I come back to the area from Virginia, we make sure to stop in and have a meal.
