I walked in an felt immediately comfortable. The owner is so friendly and the place is really clean. I mentioned that we found them on Yelp and he had no idea what it was. We need to convert this dude. Me and my wife got the two egg breakfast bowl and it was solid. I decided to mix things up a bit and got grits instead of home fries. The grits weren't bad, but they just really aren't my thing. The eggs were nicely cooked and the sausage I got was fine. No real issues. The only difference between my bowl and hers was hers had bacon which smelled really good. I'm totally going back to this place again. The prices were good, we got out of there for $9 and some change.

GREAT breakfast and lunch spot! I've been going here for years and the cheesesteak is the best! Always served with more than you can eat fries. Diner atmosphere and it gets pretty busy between 11:30 and 1:00. Online ordering available. Must try!

This is what Panera wishes it was. Friendly, family service. Very, very quick preparation of food, even during the busiest of times, and very fresh ingredients. A rather extensive menu allows for great variety. The dining room is immaculate and from what one can see of the kitchen and service area, the hidden sections are quite clean as well. For travelers coming up or down 95, this is a perfect place to stop and get away from the chain restaurants on Old St. Augustine Rd.

Get the crazy chicken salad.... it's amazing. Also the home made ranch.... I wish they sold it by itself. They are so friendly in here too! I love the variety of the menu.... I've never had anything from here that was not delicious. :-)

I have been going to Chow Down Alley for about 15 years, they have always done a terrific job. They get the order right everytime. I also use them to cater breakfast and lunches for my office, Freddie does a Great Job with the presentation. If you have never eaten there, I highly recommend it!

I can't stress to you how awesome this place. The food is good, and the people are even better! I have never had better service at any establishment ever before in my life. I have never had an issue! Try it!!!!

Nice little divey joint! The front desk clerk at our hotel recommended this place. Inexpensive breakfast plates.... Nice portions... Tasted good. I had a bacon and cheese omelet, with grits, and rye toast.... For about $5 bucks. My wife and I ate pretty much the same things, with coffee... It was about $12 dollars total. Can't beat it. The sandwich menu looks impressive, and reasonable. Will most likely be back tomorrow morning.

I like just about everything about this place. Great food and friendly service. It is within walking distance from my house. Clearly owned by people who care about community. I recommend a burger for your first lunch. =)

Chow Down Alley is a great family owned sandwich deli. The salads are fresh and huge. My favorite is the Chef Salad. You order at the bar, sit down and drool while waiting. The staff will bring your order to you. They are friendly and accommodating and can customize a sandwich like no bodies business. The prices are great too!

Everything here is always outstanding. My favorite items; Hummus wrap - TO DIE FOR, Greek Salad wrap- also amazing but even better when dipped in ranch! I recently had their special of the day which was a falafel burger & I wish I could have another one right now it was by far one of the freshest falafels i've ever had. You can't go wrong here. Oh! Another favorite is the egg salad! Get it loaded with everything you'd be amazing how well the flavors compliment each other, no dressing needed it's delicious!
