Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I have passed by this place SO many times and never gave it a 2nd thought until a visit from an old friend. She was super amp'd after realizing we had one down here; apparently it's the bee's knees in Norfolk, VA. After about 2 days of her reminiscing on past Chipotle based mouth journeys, I finally gave in and we went there for a late lunch. It's very easy to access on Blanding Blvd, plenty of parking (plus more space in the back if it's too crowded) and very clean inside. The dining area/order counter/kitchen are in one big room that is spacious enough so that customers aren't on top of each other but small enough to allow the great smells coming from the kitchen to release the Kraken in my belly as soon as I came through the door. The customer service was quick and friendly, the menu very short and basic. They make a point (both on their menu and on their website) of advertising how natural their ingredients are and how much time and care they put into their cooking. Bonus points! I kept it simple and got a chicken burrito with hot salsa and added guacamole and a grapefruit soda. I think it came out to be around $10; I was honestly a bit put off by that at first...I mean c'mon, 10 bucks for a burrito and a soda?! But the burrito definitely had some weight to it and the bottled soda was a generous size, so money well spent for the amount of food provided. The reason I only give Chipotle 3 stars is because of the lack of flavor. The staging was so convincing: mouthwatering smells from the kitchen, friendly staff, and large quantities of food with plenty of emphasis on how fresh and handmade everything is...then I bit into it. I'm no Mexican cuisine connoisseur, but with all the components they stuffed into that burrito, I expected Cinco de Mayo in my mouth...instead I got a backyard get-together with a couple of sparklers. The hottest salsa they offered barely gave a tingle, which was hugely disappointing because I absolutely love spicy any and everything. Even my friend, who is the world's biggest Chipotle fan, was a tad disappointed and claimed it had to have been this particular location. *shrug* Now, even with all that being said, I was able to finish it because it was indeed tasty...and $10 lol It just leaned more towards bland on the flavor meter then what was expected. I don't see myself going out of my way to go back unless I am in a rush, in the mood and not on a budget. Sorry, Chipotle.

I first tried chipotle a long time ago at my hometown location of Gainesville. I was not impressed at all and the food was so nasty but I always give places a second chance. So after 7 years I decided it's time to give it a second chance. I'm so glad I did. I got the carnitas burrito with guac, salsa, cheese, pinto beans, rice and sour cream. I'm a chipotle fan for sure now!

Last Thursday after an evening class we decided to have a late dinner and go to Chipotle. Normally we frequent the Town Center location; but because of class and the time the Orange Park location seemed ideal. Unfortunately, it appears that customer service, food quality and quantity appear to decline in the latter evening hours. The young lady that severed us was short with us and tossed our food around like we were a nuisance. Guess I'll have to stick to the Town Center location. That's really too bad.

Short and sweet. I love Chipotle. I eat here at least twice a week. I care not if this review is short. Eat here. Religiously.

Chipotle is real good overall. I have encountered I think 1 or 2 times when the chicken had a bit more fat than meat. But aside from this I really like their avocado as well.

The service is usually pretty good at this location. The food is always fresh. There have been Just a few people at the counter rarely listen but are usually fine to correct a mistake. The restaurant is always clean. One of my favorite places to grab dinner

Chipotle is quite possibly my favorite chain. I have actually only been to this specific Chipotle. Delicious and fresh tasting food. I do not think I have ever been disappointed by my food or service. The guacamole is delicious and I could honestly eat it without anything else, but why would I when they have such tasty chips. I just so dig Chipotle. I definitely suggest Chipotle.

One of Hubs and my favorite chain store food establishments! Food items are chopped and cooked fresh daily. Lime Cilantro Rice topped with half and half (2 choices) of meat and all of the traditional toppings. Yum! Yum! Clean restaurant. Customer Service can be a better -- that is where you lost 1 star.

I love Chipolte! Some of the crew members are more generous than others. I always get steak, although I am eyeing the new softitas addition to the menu.

hermmmm where to start? first of all i got food poisioning here about 2 years ago. I wrote this place off, never coming back. Then, this person I was watching on Youtube kept on insisting on how good Chipotle was. I was with my little bro and wanted to take him somewhere quick, cheaper, and on the healthier side (cause Chipotle's meats don't have antibiotics and the animals are treated better...) so I decided to give it another shot. I got a Chicken Burrito and my bro got a Burrito Bowl. Man! we sat down and I was like you have a lot more food than me and we spent the amount of money! There's even youtube vids showing that you get like 50% more if you get a bowl vs the burrito. So since then i've been addicted, its been the go to post workout spot. My Burrito bowl has evolved after going so many times with different people. I get a Chicken Burrito bowl, with a tortilla in the bottom of the bowl, Double brown rice, black beans, fajita veggies, chicken, salsa, cheese, lettuce, and sometimes guacamole if im feeling gooood. By the time its all done you have a huge mound of food! You can get extra of anything for free except guac, meat, and queso i think. I get the little to go foil and split it in half, it's two meals right there for $7 or $9 with the guac...you cant beat it. *Here's a tip squeeze lemon juice on your Chipotle it will kick it up a notch. I've made a many believers! One of my friends squeezes lemon per spoonful of food lol. There was one time when the cooks where arguing over chicken in the back, I waited a while, and they were out of guac and silverware. Chipotle sent me a giftcard in 2 days. When I got food poisioning before they offered to refund me but I didnt want to set foot in a Chipotle at that time. But now im bout that Chipotle life!

It's fast food Mexican.

Love the food here, but Chipotle has some real shortcomings. The seating is, by far, the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced, ANYWHERE. Chairs are hard, stiff and angled poorly. In addition, why would a restaurant which serves quality fare offer only Sweet 'n Low as a sugar alternative? No Splenda? No Truvia? SnL is the CHEAP alternative! Not what I expect in a place like Chipotle!

Prefer Moes but this is a nice change! Lots of configurations of what you can order.

Awesome place! Love the chicken bowl, with rice black beans, salsa and cheese :)

Had a fantastic steak salad for dinner last night. Everything was super fresh including the chips and guacamole. Service was fast and friendly, and prices are reasonable for what you get.

I love this place! Great food, healthy and delicious :) use the app to order and avoid the wait!

Was here for the first the recently. Hate the high table seating. People behind the counter were very slow. Carnitas meat had no flavor and it is over priced.

Just walked out. One customer in the whole store, about 10 employees and the girl in the front tells me she'll be right with us. Meanwhile, she's taking her time merging containers together, slowly wiping her gloves with a paper towel and talking to her coworkers about going out tonight. Sorry, that service is too rude to pay money for. As we were leaving, I noticed another girl wiping tables and a couple of guys in chipotle shirts hanging out (they could've just got off or went on break, but still). Surely someone could've stopped to help a customer who's standing at the counter in an empty fast casual restaurant waiting 3 minutes just to be acknowledged. I know 3 minutes may sound trivial, but when you're listening to someone chat about their evening, with a back turned to you, and all they say is, "I'll be right with you," you're obviously not a priority.

Love this location. Even when the line is long I'm in and out in about 5 minutes. Friendly staff and fresh food.
(5)Lauren C.
There food is great I've been coming here since they opened. However their customer service sucks ! Most of the staff is very rude and in a hurry, sometimes to the point where the just slop all your food together.
(3)Shaun N.
Can't go wrong with Chipotle. I'm a fan of the bowls but they have burritos, tacos, and salads. There is always a line but it moves pretty quickly so the wait isn't that bad. This is a healthy choice for you and the family. Oh, and the kids menu is pretty cool as well. Overall, not a bad spot if you're in the mood for Mexican fast food.

I love that my BFF, who is a vegetarian, can actually find something delicious and healthy while I also enjoy the food. The staff is pleasant. The shop is clean. I do wish they could turn down the thermostat and sound just a bit though. Seats are cold and really uncomfortable.
