Here's what I like about China 1.... - taste -consistency of taste -price -quantity for price Here's what I don't like about China 1.... -nothing The last time I ordered from China 1, which is right around the corner from my house, had been far too long, so when the other night rolled around and I had no idea what I wanted to eat, but knew I wanted something quick, tasty, and bountiful I knew China 1 was going to be it. I have a weak spot for 2 items on a Chinese food menu 1) General Tso's Chicken and 2) Moo Shoo Pork and this time moo shoo was all I could think about when it came to ordering. DELICIOUS!

We normally don't order Chinese delivery, but sometimes you need a quick easy meal. Today we ordered a pair of dinner plates, and a side of crab wontons. After 20-30 minutes delivery guy showed up and delivered our food. We signed the check and he went on his way. While eating our meal we realized that we had an extra dish. Our phone rang but we missed the call due to eating. Shortly after the doorbell rang...it was the same delivery guy asking for the extra dish back. I asked if he was going to deliver to the customer and he said yes. I proceeded to tell him that was not acceptable, and that I wouldn't allow. He called the office and they asked for me to return the food. I'm 99% sure this food got taken to another residence. This is unacceptable, and I will never order from this place again. Disgusting.

It can be so hard to trust Chinese restaraunts to provide a certain quality of food, especially with all of the rumors. So when I find a good, high-quality Chinese spot, I'm loyal to it for as long as I live close by. China One is the restaraunt I have trusted since I moved from NY to Jacksonville. I usually get the basic orange chicken or general tso's chicken with chicken fried rice, or beef and broccoli with beef fried rice. Toss in some wonton soup and egg rolls (usually very fresh), and you'll never go to Panda Express again. My tip is to call ahead before picking up, for the reason that since they make your food fresh, it may take 15 minutes. If they have a Friday crowd ahead of you, you could wait up to 45 minutes. Worth it though for some good 'nese after drinking a couple!

I only come here for hot and sour soup and egg rolls. Sometimes I'll order won tons as well. I love their soup when I want something spicy.

Great Chinese place in the Atlantic / Neptune Beach area. China 1 is quick, dependable, affordable, and good Americanized Chinese food. For the area, there's nothing better. We always get the same thing - General Tso chicken with beef fried rice & regular fried rice & some cheese wontons. Yum!

We've been ordering from here for 10+ years. Food is good and fast. When we started going there the kids were young, now they are the ones taking the orders. We enjoy the shrimp fried rice, pork lo neon and beef with broccoli.

I've been in Jacksonville for a year from NY and was hunting for a really good Chinese take out. After three or four, nice try but next places, I think I may have found it. Stopped by on the way out to Jacksonville Beach and ordered a Chicken Egg Foo Young. It was very good. The portion size was good, the rice was good, even the egg roll was OK. All around great first visit. Another good sign - they busy with pick up and delivery orders at 7:30 on a Monday night. I will visit again.
